Although they haven't been able to hit the Joe Louis Arena for a Red Wings game, the fans in attendance were louder and as excited as ever for the stars of TWF PrimeTime as they were witness to all the fallout from Foul Play. Nick Dinsmore vs. Psychosis Just before learning of his trade to SlaughterHouse, Dinsmore took on Psychosis in a major contrast in styles. But it was Psychosis who was able to combat the mat based style of Dinsmore and he used a victory roll to counter an electric chair to get the win. Sychotic vs. Luther Reigns Sychotic was able to come up with back to back upsets by lightheavyweights but his may have been even bigger. After avoiding a running boot to the face, Sychotic jumped off the ring ropes and hit a springboard 2 handed facebuster to score the pinfall. Aries vs. A.J. Styles The main event of Uprising was a highly contested one with back and forth action. Styles came off the top rope with a guillotine legdrop but he couldn't get the pin. He then tried to get the God of War up for the "Styles Clash" but it was countered and Aries came back with the "Land Mine" and it was all over. PRIMETIME GOES LIVE ARIES LEFT TO A LOT OF HEAT, HOLDING UP HIS SYMBOLIC BLACK FLAG AS THE SHOT FADED OUT.
AS SOON AS PRIMETIME COMES ON THE AIR, EDGE IS IN THE BACKSTAGE AREA WITH NAILS AND BOOS ARE IMMEDIATELY HEARD. Edge: "Listen, I have it on good word that Rockwell is on his way here and I don't know about you, but I'm not waiting around for him". Nails: "He will be dealt with". Edge: "Okay, well you do that. I'll catch up with you later". EDGE WALKS OUT OF THE ARENA AS NAILS JUST LOOKS ON THROUGH HIS HOCKEY MASK. "RAP SUPERSTAR" PLAYS AND PRIMETIME's MONTAGE VIDEO ROLLS, SHOWING ALL OF PRIMETIME's SUPERSTARS. THE JOE LOUIS ARENA COMES INTO VIEW WITH THE STANDS PACKED AS TAJIRI's MUSIC HITS. Michael Cole: "We are in the motor city and we are live! Are you ready for PrimeTime"?! Jesse Ventura: "We're jumping right into the action tonight Michael and did you hear the news? Jordan Rockwell is reportedly on his way to the arena"! "HELL's GUARDIAN" BY SLIPKNOT PLAYS AND IT BRINGS OUT NAILS TO SOME TREMENDOUS HEAT. HE HAS THE HARDCORE TITLE AND HE HOLDS IT UP HIGH IN HIS RIGHT HAND. Cole: "Rockwell is sure to wanna get his hands on not only Edge, but this man as well after what happened at Foul Play"! Ventura: "We found out that Nails not only was the man who took the Hardcore title after Edge dumped it, but Edge had him in his back pocket as well"! Cole: "Now Tajiri has the daunting task of facing Nails and ya know partner, this Friday is Friday the 13th but if ya ask me, Nails makes Jason Voorhees look tame"! Ventura: "I think Tajiri might be thinking the same thing". Nails vs. Tajiri The bell sounded and as Nails handed the Hardcore title to the timekeeper, Tajiri came up and began to kick him anywhere he could. But after catching his leg, Nails headbutted him. He then threw him shoulder first into one of the posts before delivering a backdrop suplex. A crazed Nails then grabbed Tajiri's throat, choking away. After another headbutt, Nails lifted Tajiri onto his shoulder, looking for the snake eyes. But instead of dropping him on one of the turnbuckles, he dropped him on the steel post! Tajiri was out on his feet as Nails pulled him up. Nails draped him over his shoulder and climbed up to the middle turnbuckle and jumped off with the "Nail Driver" to gain the victory. Match Time: 7:00 Cole: "That was plain scary Jesse. Tajiri might be seriously hurt". Ventura: "I don't believe I've ever seen Nails that dominating Michael! He absolutely destroyed Tajiri tonight"! "HELL's GUARDIAN" PLAYS AGAIN AND NAILS WALKS AWAY AS IF NOTHING HAPPENED. Cole: "Message to Jordan Rockwell..... be careful". BACKSTAGE AREA..... STRIFE AND BAHAMUT ARE SHOWN IN THEIR DRESSING ROOM. Strife: "This is it man..... gotta get this one tonight". Bahamut: "I've got this big man. I defeat Oliver tonight, we get a rematch". Strife: "I hope you do, I hate to think what'll happen if you don't". Bahamut: "And what's that supposed to mean"? Strife: "Just go do this". THE SHOT FADES OUT WITH THE TWO MEN STARING AT EACH OTHER. COMMERCIAL BREAK..... A COMMERCIAL FOR TACO BELL IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY A PREVIEW FOR THE MOVIE "MONSTER IN LAW". A CLOSE UP OF AN UNFAMILIAR FACE IS SHOWN AND A VOICE BEGINS TO SPEAK, THE VOICE OF CHRIS PLATOON. Chris Platoon: "They said I had been through to much. SHOTS OF PLATOON DOING VARIOUS WEIGHT TRAINING. They said I could never come back to this business I love. PLATOON IS SHOWN DOING SOME CURLS. All I need is a chance..... to show them just how wrong they were". A SHOT OF THE FIERCE EYES OF PLATOON IS SHOWN. TWF Lightheavyweight Title Match Challenger: Akio vs. Paul London This turned out to be one of the best Lightheavyweight matches in a long time and probably the best of 2005 so far. Akio and London matched each other move for move, both taking to the air for most of their high impact moves. After catching London with a reverse spin kick to the face, Akio pulled London down from behind across his knees. He went for the cover and got a very long 2 count. Akio's serious run at the title continued until he shot London to the corner and missed with a bicycle kick. London then connected with a running enziguri and that led to him leaping to the top rope to hit the 450 splash and retain the title. Match Time: 9:17 BACKSTAGE..... ROB CONWAY IS SHOWN BACKSTAGE AND TED DIBIASE WALKS UP, HANDING HIM A $100 BILL WHICH PUTS A GRIN ON HIS FACE. Ted Dibiase: "And there's a lot more where that came from. See, with Haas getting traded to Rampage, you're my money man now. There's a lot of ways to earn this". DIBIASE FLASHES A THICK WAD OF CASH. Rob Conway: "And I'll start tonight with Dylan Jansens". TWF RE-WIND SHOWS STRIFE AND BAHAMUT LOSING THE TAG TEAM TITLES TO JASON OLIVER AND HEIDENREICH AT FOUL PLAY. Bahamut vs. Jason Tiger Oliver A confident Oliver walked to the center of the ring, holding his tag team title up in Bah's face. But all that did was tick Bahamut off and he smacked Oliver around with some right hands. But after a whip to the corner, he ran into a boot to the face and Oliver followed that with a clothesline. Moments later, Oliver used a double leg takedown and stacked Bahamut up in the corner, putting his feet on the ropes but not even that could keep Bahamut down for the 3 count. Bahamut then punched his way back into the match but Oliver got a thumb to the eye in before hitting the ropes but Bahamut caught him and drove him into the mat with a spinebuster. Bahamut then waited for him to get up and when he did, he drilled him with the STO to get the win and a tag team title rematch for he and Strife. Match Time: 7:52 COMMERCIAL BREAK...... RETURN FROM BREAK.... WHEN PRIMETIME RETURNS, IDALIS IS SHOWN WITH SHANE THOMPSON. Idalis: "I am here with the man who is.......
Shane Thompson: "I'll take it from here. To no suprise, I beat Randy Orton in the center of the ring to retain my title at Foul Play. And even though Orton is a great athlete, I feel that no one here on PrimeTime can compete with me, and that includes the new number one contender, Edge. So Idalis, since I didn't get to enjoy all of my vacation thanks to Orton, I am taking the rest of this night.... off"! THOMPSON WALKS OFF AS THE SHOT GOES BACK TO RINGSIDE. Axl Irvin w/ Traci Brooks vs. Vlad the Impaler In a matchup of two men looking to rebound from losses at Foul Play, fans saw Axl Irvin dominate the first half of this match. But a DDT, death valley driver and a Canadian backbreaker all weren't enough to keep Vlad down. Off an irish whip, Axl put his head down too soon and Vlad hooked him up for the Impaler DDT. But Traci got up on the apron and her distraction got Vlad to release the hold. Axl tried to come from behind but Vlad turned and caught him with a stiff clothesline. Vlad then picked him up and lifted him to the top turnbuckle, looking for a superplex. But after hitting the move, he tried to float over into a pin but Axl grapevined his legs with his own and got the 3 count. Vlad couldn't believe it as Axl left with a very happy Traci. BACKSTAGE...... CAMERAS SHOW BATISTA RUN INTO RANDY ORTON. FOR ABOUT 10 SECONDS, THE TWO JUST STARE AT EACH OTHER. Batista: "Look man, I heard what Thompson just said". Randy Orton: "Yeah, but there will be another time for me and him. But tough loss to Cirianni man". Batista: "Yeah, he got lucky. And now you got him tonight". Orton: "Look man, I know we've had our problems, but can you remember us together? BATISTA GETS A SMILE ON HIS FACE. I mean, you and I were as close to unbeatable as it got. I'm just saying, with guys like Thompson and Cirianni around, maybe we should watch each others backs. Nothin', nothin' major man, I'm just...... Batista: "Yeah man, yeah that's cool". BATISTA EXTENDS HIS HAND AND ORTON SHAKES IT WITH A SMILE. Rob Conway w/ Ted Dibiase vs. Dylan Jansens Motivated by Dibiase's green, Conway showed a new aggressiveness and mean streak. But he wasn't able to pin DJ despite several attempts. After a Samoan drop, Conway called for the Million Dollar Dream. But Jansens countered it and pushed him to the ropes. But he missed with a clothesline and Conway kicked him in the gut. Conway then hit the ropes on the other side and went for a clothesline but Jansens avoided it and lifted him up in the "Dragon's Bane". With no escape, Conway had to tap out. Match Time: 9:37 BACKSTAGE...... ROME IS SHOWN IN THE BACKSTAGE AREA AND TIGER ALI SINGH IS SHOWN COMING FROM BEHIND. ROME TURNS AND GETS RIGHT IN HIS FACE. Nails: "Put it down Jordan, you're not gonna get that chance tonight". Jordan Rockwell: "Get down here you son of a bitch"! Nails: "Ya know Jordan, I don't blame you for being mad. But if you think you didn't deserve what you got, you're dead wrong! You know how long I've been waiting to do that to you? I just had to find the right time. You see Jordan, most people don't know of our past. Are you really sure you want to bring it out"? NAILS BACKS AWAY, OUT OF VIEW BUT HIS LAUGH CAN BE HEARD. Rockwell: (to himself) "You're right, they don't know.... but they will". Taylor Made vs. Rene Dupree w/ Dawn Marie Taylor was in control after an early beating and after a flying clothesline off the middle turnbuckle, he locked the Indian Deathlock in. But Dawn Marie came into the ring and Taylor broke the hold. Dawn then tripped over her own feet as Taylor backed her down. He then got a big smile on his face and got down over her in a sexual position. Most of the crowd laughed and cheered but they let out a resounding gasp when Dupree kicked him like a football punt right in the face. Dupree then pulled him up and delivered the "Dupree Bomb" for the victory. Match Time: 11:48 BACKSTAGE AREA...... CAMERAS PICK UP A CONVERSATION BETWEEN ROB VAN DAM AND A.J. STYLES. A.J. JUST THEN, SEAN O'HAIRE, WEARING HIS TRENCH COAT, COMES UP. Sean O'Haire: "No, it wasn't that cool. It also wasn't as impressive as my win over Vlad the Impaler. But A.J., I do have an offer for you". RVD: "Whoa, SA.J. dude, you don't want anything to do with this guy, he makes Charles Manson look like he's all there". O'Haire: "Is your name A.J."? RVD: "Dude, maybe you didn't notice, but you're not wanted around here. So unless you want to meet me in the ring with that Intercontinental title on the line, I suggest you beat it"! O'Haire: (laughs) "Be careful what ya wish for". BACK IN THE RING, MUHAMMAD HASSAN COMES OUT WITH TIGER ALI SINGH AND HE CALLS ROME TO THE RING. ROME COMES OUT AND HASSAN TELLS HIM IT's TIME FOR THEM TO BAND TOGETHER FOR THEIR HERITAGE AND THE REST OF THE PEOPLE THAT DON'T LIKE HOW AMERICA TREATS THEM. HASSAN TELLS ROME TO HATE AMERICA AS WELL BECAUSE TO THEM, HE's A "TERRORIST SUPPORTER". HASSAN RANTS AND RAVES SOME MORE AND ROME FINALLY JUST LEAVES AFTER TAKING IT ALL IN. HASSAN SMILES, FEELING HE REACHED HIM. COMMERCIAL BREAK...... RETURN FROM BREAK...... RINGSIDE.... Randy Orton vs. Mike Cirianni w/ Ric Flair Cirianni attacked Orton from behind before the bell but Orton got back into it quickly with his dropkick after reversing an irish whip. After connecting with a top rope cross body block, Orton went to knock Flair off the apron but referee Mike Chioda stopped him. Flair then reached into his pocket and tried to give something to Cirianni but Batista came out and took out Flair with a clothesline. Orton then set Cirianni up for the "RKO" but with Chioda's attention on Flair and Batista, Cirianni slipped out and lowblowed Orton. He then rolled him up and had him stacked up as Chioda turned and made the 3 count. Match Time: 4:19 CIRIANNI AND FLAIR LEFT, EACH HOLDING UP 2 FINGERS TO SIGNAL HIS BACK TO BACK WINS OVER BATISTA AND ORTON. OFF AIR......
