With Eruption fast approaching, this edition of PrimeTime would provide a few surprises as well as shed quite a bit of light on the upcoming pay-per-view. "Lost Boy" Johnny Swinger vs. Heidenreich Before the match, the referee asked both Animal and Gangrel to go to the back, leaving their partners to fend for themselves. Swinger worked diligently to chop the big redwood down. But he ran right into the powerful arms of Heidenreich and was put down with a scrapbuster slam which led to the 3 count. The Orient Express w/ Sonny Onoo vs. Air Paris and Justin Idol (invitees) The Orient Express gave fans every reason to believe they are the real deal, but with the disrespectful Onoo guiding them, they got little appreciation. After taking Air Paris out with a russian leg sweep into the back of his knee, Tanaka superkicked Idol and Kato took it into a german suplex to get the win. After the match, Onoo grabbed the microphone and yelled something in Japanese before translating "you are looking at PrimeTime's finest tag team" in English. Paul London vs. Frankie Kazarian Wow. That is the best way to describe this match which many are calling a "match of the year" candidate. These two men went at it for almost 14 minutes, trading big moves and near falls. London was looking for back to back wins over Kazarian but it didn't look like he was going to get it after the swinging fisherman buster from Kazarian, who had already avoided a shooting star press. But with the crowd chanting "this match rules", London blocked the "Wave of the Future" and turned it into a reverse STO takedown before hitting a slingshot spinning legdrop which the fans absolutely loved and it led to the 1......2......3. PRIMETIME GOES LIVE PRIMETIME OPENS UP WITH FOOTAGE FROM LAST WEEK OF CHAOS WOLF's SHOCKING TURN ON VLAD THE IMPALER. Vlad then picked up the bell but referee Mike Chioda came over and snatched it from him. While Chioda was taking it back, Chaos Wolf came around and pulled Vlad down, hanging him up over the top rope! Vlad then turned right into the "Edge-a-cutioner" and that led to the 1......2........3.
Cole: "What the hell was that?! Chaos Wolf just cost his friend the match"!
Ventura: "What is this going to do to the New Breed"?!
CHAOS WOLF HAD A VERY SPITEFUL LOOK IN HIS EYES AS HE LOOKED BACK AT A VERY SURPRISED VLAD. PRIMETIME's MONTAGE VIDEO THEN ROLLS BEFORE LOEL COLISEUM COMES INTO THE SHOT SHOWING THE ORANGE ROPED, SILVER MAT RING. THE ARENA IS FILLED WITH THE SOUND OF CHRIS MASTERS' MUSIC, WHO IS MAKING HIS BIG ENTRANCE TO MOSTLY ALL BOOS. Michael Cole: "Fans what you just saw was not an illusion! Chaos Wolf really turned on his friend Vlad last week and I hope we can get some answers tonight"! Ventura: "All week long, all I've heard about is the break up of the Horsemen over on Rampage but the way I look at it, the New Breed has been broken up too"! Cole: "We'll get to that later but tonight, we have a rematch from last week that this man demanded"! "LIKE A PIMP" BY DA BAND HITS AND TAYLOR MADE COMES OUT WITH THE STUNNINGLY HOT SABLE. Ventura: "Well I say this guy got lucky last week but I know you talked to him today Michael and he thinks he can do it again"! Cole: "He doesn't just think, he is pretty positive he can do it again"! Taylor Made w/ Sable vs. "The Masterpiece" Chris Masters Trying to overcome the defeat last week, Masters physically took it to Taylor. But Taylor was able to use a crucifix to escape a torcher rack and he nearly, nearly got the 3 count. After avoiding a spinning heel kick, Masters delivered a full nelson slam before picking Taylor up in the "Masterlock". But Sable got on the apron to distract referee Chris Kay as Taylor broke the lock with 2 mule kicks. Taylor was set to go for the finish when Rick Martel ran out and sprayed his "Arrogance" all over Sable. As Sable tried to pat it off her clothing, Masters put the Masterlock in again on Taylor who was paying attention to what was going on outside the ring and this time, Masters wore him down and Kay called for the bell. Match Time: 6:05 MASTERS AND MARTEL LEFT TO A LOT OF HEAT. COMMERCIAL BREAK...... RETURN FROM BREAK..... BACKSTAGE AREA...... Dylan Jansens tells Jordan Rockwell that they have to do something to repair the friendship between Chaos Wolf and Vlad. But Rockwell isn't too optimistic, saying there's no need and unfortunately, he has a title defense to worry about. Jansens says he is going to work on himself then to which Rockwell replies, "just let it go, it's too late". Ken Kennedy vs. Lash Leroux (invitee) After another entertaining ring introduction, Kennedy took it to Leroux, who he called "that guy from the 1-800-COLLECT" commercials. Leroux did what he could to fight off the newcomer but Kennedy was able to catch him with a powerslam before setting him up on the top turnbuckle and delivering the "Lambeau Leap" for the victory. Match Time: 6:28 BACKSTAGE...... Ric Flair gives Axl Irvin his word that he will defeat Sean O'Haire later tonight which will soften him up for him to have another shot at the Intercontinental title. Bahamut vs. Rene Dupree Dupree was able to match the strength of Bahamut and fight off several of his moves. After a swinging neckbreaker, Dupree kept Bahamut on the mat. But Bahamut got up behind the cheers of the crowd and was able to turn a sleeper hold into a backdrop suplex. After a big boot to the face, Bahamut could smell the end but suddenly, flames quickly puffed up in the entrance way. This distracted Bahamut long enough for Dupree to come up from behind and schoolboy him for the win. Match Time: 7:58 As Dupree and Dawn Marie left, celebrating the win, a white light shined down from above on Bahamut. The music of Mordecai then hit and the pale rider came out from the side, striking Bah in the side of the head with his staff! He then lifted him and delivered the "Crucifier" and left him laying. Cole eluded to the fact that this must be the "sinner" Mordecai has been talking of lately. COMMERCIAL BREAK...... RETURN FROM BREAK.... RINGSIDE..... AS PRIMETIME RETURNS, "NEW YORK, NEW YORK" BY JA RULE IS PLAYING AND CHAOS WOLF IS COMING TO THE RING TO A LOT OF BOOS. HE GETS IN AND ASKS FOR A MIC. Chaos Wolf: "Now the question I keep hearing everywhere I go is why Wolf why? It's simple, I was tired of following Rockwell’s orders and listening to Jansens telling me to put the group’s future over my career. I was tired of being a part of a group that was nothing but Jordan’s shadow. I refuse to take a back seat to anyone in this business. I decided the best thing to do was to cut my ties with the New Breed but I realized that I could do even better than just leaving. I could take the New Breed apart one piece at a time. Vlad, you were merely in the wrong group at the wrong time. THE FANS BEGIN TO CHANT "VLAD".
Go ahead, chant his name and bring him out here! Come on Vlad, get your ass out here you good for nothing piece of garbage! SEVERAL SECONDS PASS AND NO ONE COMES OUT. That's what I thought.... you saw all you wanted to see of me"! TAJIRI's MUSIC FINALLY HIT AND HE CAME TO THE RING. Chaos Wolf vs. Tajiri After taking a blitzing of kicks from the Japanese Buzzsaw, Chaos Wolf went on a run that showed he is as good as he's ever been. After escaping the Tarantula and hitting a DDT, Chaos Wolf connected with the "Chaos Driver" to get the win. Match Time: 7:03 "TNT" by AC/DC hits and Vlad the Impaler comes out to a big cheer but surprisingly, Chae is with him.
Cole:" Oh boy.... here comes Vlad! but why is Chae with him"?
Jesse: "I’m not too sure Cole but we might find out in a few minutes".
Vlad: "Hey Wolf it seems your woman doesn’t want anything to do with a snake like you. You suddenly decided that you didn’t like being a team player so you screwed me last week in my match. You know I never really trusted you, what with the way you were staring at Rockwell’s titles. It was only a matter of time before you turned on us. Now that I think of it, I should have expected you to cost me that match last week since you don’t have the balls to face me one on one"!
The crowd cheers
Wolf: "Very amusing Vlad, but here is a very good question. If I don’t have any balls, where does that leave you? Enough talk.... if you want me in a match, then how about you and me at Eruption in a Stretcher Match"?! Cole: "What?! Whoa"!
Vlad starts walking towards the ring as he speaks.
Vlad: "That’s fine with me, but I don’t feel like waiting"!
With that, Vlad rushed into the ring and started to trade punches with Chaos Wolf. Dylan Jansens came running out as Vlad began to get the best of Chaos Wolf. After knocking Wolf to the mat, Vlad told Jansens to get off him but in their struggle, Vlad was victimized by the "Chaos Driver" as well! He then gave Jansens a long, cold stare before leaving as "New York, New York" played again. Ventura: "I think that's your answer Jansens! The group is dead"! Cole: "And not only that, but if I heard right, Vlad just accepted a Stretcher match with Chaos Wolf at Eruption"! Ventura: "I'm pretty sure that'd be a first in the TWF"! TWF RE-WIND SHOWS MUHAMMAD HASSAN's SPEECH LAST WEEK INTERRUPTED BY CHRIS PLATOON. BACKSTAGE...... Chris Platoon is with Idalis and he tells Muhammad Hassan that after all the oppurtunities he has gotten in this great country, he will not allow him to bash it verbally the way he has. Platoon goes on to say that one of the big reasons he came to the TWF was to get his hands on Hassan. Finally, Platoon reveals that if Hassan has the guts, to face him in the ring at Eruption and he'll shut him up permanently. In another part of the backstage area, Edge tells Shane McMahon he wants the number one contendership back since he still hasn't had a one on one match for the title. Shane makes a proposal, telling him he can wrestle for it at Eruption against...... Christian. Shane Thompson vs. Mariner The young Mariner definitely did his homework, having Thompson well scouted and it showed as he countered move after move and turned the tide of the match with a jumping 2 handed facebuster. But Thompson slipped out of a suplex and delivered a reverse DDT onto his knee. He whipped him to the ropes and locked in a sleeper hold but Mariner slipped under and locked in one of his own. But cleverly, Thompson countered with a swinging elbow to the gut before delivering the "Total Eclipse" for a big win heading into Eruption. Match Time: 8:33 After the match, Thompson asked that his music, "Waiting to Die" by HED, to stop playing as he held a microphone. Shane Thompson (pointing at Mariner) "You see that Rockwell? That's what you have to look forward to! But things have changed a little bit. It seems that our beloved decision maker Shane McMahon has made the match between myself and Rockwell a Last Chance match! Basically, this is the last time we will face each other. So Jordan, what I'd like to do is up the ante. I don't just want to beat you. I want it to count, I want it to be unforgettable! So I am suggesting that you and I have a TLC match..... Tables, Ladders and Chairs"! Cole: "Oh my gosh...... that's huge"! Ventura: "I guess he's uppin' the ante"! COMMERCIAL BREAK...... RETURN FROM BREAK..... BACKSTAGE...... JORDAN ROCKWELL IS SHOWN WITH IDALIS. HE IS HOLDING BOTH OF HIS TITLE BELTS AS THE FANS START TO LOUDLY CHEER.
Idalis: Jordan we.....
Rockwell puts his hand over her mic and removes it from her hand.
Jordan Rockwell: "Sorry Idalis, not tonight. Shane Thompson, you ask the question of whether or not I will accept your challenge for a TLC match at Eruption for the Universal title?
Rockwell holds the title up to the camera.
At MeltDown I went through six men and through hell to win this back and you above all should know cause I beat you for this and yet you come out here and you question whether I will accept a tables, ladders and chairs match?
Well I say you're on cause at Eruption it will be Jordan Rockwell versus Shane Thompson for the Universal title in a TLC match!
The fans cheer.......
But if I was you, I would rethink this. Why? Because in case you've been living under a rock somewhere and you don't know, bad things happen to opponents of mine when I am around ladders and I wonder if you can understand that, can you? Can you understand that at Eruption, bad things are going to happen to you?
The fans cheer again........
Bottom line, win, lose or draw at Eruption, I'm coming after you with bad intentions"!
Rockwell simply hands the mic to Idalis and then walks off. Non-Title Match Ric Flair vs. Intercontinental champion Sean O'Haire This was another great battle as the red hot Intercontinental champion battled the grizzled veteran Flair. Flair had no answer for the stand up martial arts, kickboxing style of O'Haire. O'Haire powerslammed Naitch and went to the top rope, looking for the Seanton Bomb. But Flair rolled out of the way and when O'Haire got up, he blasted his chest with knifedge chop after knifedge chop. But after reversing an irish whip, O'Haire sent Flair into the corner so hard he flipped over the turnbuckle. He then sent Flair on the top rope, looking for a super backdop suplex but Flair elbowed him in the chops. The crafty Flair then used a standing go behind and rolled O'Haire up, grabbing the nearby ring ropes for extra leverage to get the 3 count. O'Haire was flaming mad as Flair left, the winner. Match Time: 8:00 MICHAEL COLE AND JESSE VENTURA RUN DOWN THE UPDATED CARD FOR ERUPTION AS PROMO GRAPHICS ARE SHOWN FOR EACH MATCH. - TLC Last Chance Match/Universal Title: Shane Thompson vs. Jordan Rockwell - Stretcher Match: Vlad the Impaler vs. Chaos Wolf - Axl Irvin and Ric Flair vs. Sean O'Haire and Orlando Jordan (If Axl or Flair gets the pin or submission, they win the IC title) -Chris Platoon vs. Muhammad Hassan Mordecai vs. Bahamut Taylor Made vs. "The Masterpiece" Chris Masters #1 Contender: Edge vs. Christian BACKSTAGE....... BATISTA RUNS INTO RANDY ORTON ON HIS WAY TO THE RING AND LETS HIM KNOW THAT HE IS NOT HAPPY ABOUT HOW LAST WEEK's TAG TEAM MATCH WENT. ORTON ADMITS THAT THEIR "LOOK OUT FOR EACH OTHER POLICY" HAS EXPIRED" AND HE KNOWS WHO HE WANTS TO HAVE A MATCH WITH AT ERUPTION...... HIM! BATISTA CAN'T BELIEVE IT. Christian vs. Randy Orton This was a great match between two of the top stars on PrimeTime. Knowing he could win the number one contender spot at Eruption, Christian was on top of his game. But Orton was also in top form, hitting a spectacular dropkick and his unique backbreaker. But when Christian got back into the match with a reverse DDT, Edge tried to get involved. But Christian was waiting for it and he fended him off. Orton came from behind and set up for the "RKO" but Christian countered by pushing him out of the ring. Before Orton could get back in himself, he was thrown into the ring by Batista who had come out! Orton looked back at Batista in shock as Christian rolled him up and got the quick 3 count and a huge win. After the match, Batista came into the ring and smashed Orton with a clothesline. He then had him set up for the "Batista Bomb" but Orton scrambled free and left the ring to the heckling crowd. Match Time: 9:12 OFF AIR......
