Fans were informed that there would be an after party at Toby Keith's bar after the show and this news came after most of them attended an autograph session that featured Bobby Lashley and CM Punk. Needless to say, this crowd was thrilled that the stars of PrimeTime were in the area. Gregory Helms vs. Gabriel Cross This edition of PrimeTime featured some of the best matchups given on live tv in some time, but Uprising started the night with a great match between these men. Cross offered a handshake to start the match, but Helms refused. Both men were able to get some high impact offense in, but after Helms missed with a shining wizard, Cross hit a wonderful STO takedown, hooking the leg for the 1......2....., but Helms got his foot on the bottom rope just in time. Cross then shot Helms to the corner and followed in but Helms moved out of the way and then rolled Cross up, grabbing a handful of tights to hand Cross his first TWF defeat. Cross was very upset about the way the match ended as Helms left to plenty of boos. Kevin Thorn w/ Ariel vs. Brian Kendrick w/ Paul London Kendrick had his hands full with the much bigger and more physical Thorn, but he came right at him. Multiple times during the match, Ariel was able to interject herself, slowing Kendrick down. But after Thorn accidentally caught the referee with a clothesline when Kendrick moved, London got in the ring and the high flyers took it to Thorn. After a double enziguri, London went to the top rope but out from the back came Gangrel! Gangrel shoved London off the top rope to the floor and got into the ring, catching Kendrick with a kick to the gut followed by his Impaler DDT. Thorn then got up and pulled Kendrick up, delivering his Crucifix Powerbomb to get the win. After the match, Ariel led Thorn and Gangrel up the ramp and they were all smiles as London and Kendrick tried to pick themselves up, slowly. PRIMETIME GOES LIVE
"RAP SUPERSTAR" STARTS OFF THE SHOW AS PRIMETIME's MONTAGE VIDEO RUNS. NEW CLIPS OF JOE COREY, "HIGH OCTANE" DAMION WEST AND PAUL BIRCHILL HAVE BEEN ADDED. THE SHOT THEN COMES INTO THE FORD CENTER WITH THE MUSIC STILL PLAYING AND THE CROWD LOUDLY CHEERING IN UNISON. Michael Cole: "The scene is set here in Oklahoma City for PrimeTime and a full slate of TWF action tonight, John"! JBL: "There sure as hell is, top to bottom, the action tonight is as good as it's ever been on PrimeTime, Michael"! THE FANS COME OUT OF THEIR SEATS FOR A HUGE REACTION AS BOBBY LASHLEY's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT FROM THE BACK. Cole: "And we're starting things off on this Saturday night with the powerhouse from Colorado Springs.... Bobby Lashley"! JBL: "For the last several weeks, we've seen Bobby Lashley and Axl Irvin try to see who the better man is and tonight, we have it in our opening match"! "THE REALEST" BY YOUNG JEEZY, THE NEW ENTRANCE THEME FOR AXL IRVIN, HITS AND HE COMES OUT HAND IN HAND WITH THE GORGEOUS TRACI BROOKS. Cole: "Axl Irvin definitely thinks he's the better man and he's ready to prove it tonight"! JBL: "I can give you a couple reasons why I know he's the better man, Michael. For one, he's a former Universal champion, something Bobby Lashley hasn't even sniffed. Plus, he's walking around with that woman, enough said"! Cole: "Mickey Henson will be the referee and there goes the bell, we're underway". Bobby Lashley vs. Axl Irvin w/ Traci Brooks Lashley clearly was content on using his power to defeat Axl, but Axl came right at him, standing with him with a tradeoff of right hands before kicking Lashley in the midsection. He then hit the ropes but Lashley grabbed him and delivered a huge belly to belly suplex. Lashley was quickly back in the match and after back to back clotheslines, he just picked the right leg of Axl and tossed him into the air. Axl landed hard on the mat and Lashley pulled him up, looking for the Dominator. Axl was able to slip off his shoulders and after a chop block on the right knee, he put Lashley down with a reverse DDT. Axl went for the cover, hooking the leg, but Lashley powered out. Axl pulled the big man up, pounding him with 2 european uppercuts before going for a whip to the corner but Lashley reversed it and slammed into him with a clothesline. From there, Lashley hoisted Axl onto his shoulder and delivered a running powerslam, driving him hard into the mat before covering him for the 3 count. Match Time: 7:19 Cole: "What a win for Bobby Lashley! The running powerslam did Axl Irvin in and now, maybe Lashley can finally look past him"! JBL: "Well if they came out here to find out who the better man is, that didn't happen! Lashley got one lucky win because Axl slipped up.... simple as that"! AXL WALKED UP THE RAMP WITH THE HELP OF TRACI AS LASHLEY STOOD IN THE RING, PLAYING TO THE CROWD AS HIS MUSIC RAN. Cole: "Did we just watch the same match"? BACKSTAGE AREA....... RANDY ORTON IS SHOWN IN THE BACK WHEN JOHN CENA COMES UP. THE FANS IN THE ARENA HAVE A MIXED REACTION. John Cena: "Hey there, champ". Randy Orton: "Well, if it isn't the former champ.... what the hell do you want"? Cena: "Well I got to thinkin', Oklahoma City would be the perfect place, and tonight would be the perfect time.... I want my rematch, that's what I want"! Orton (laughs): "So because you want it, I'm gonna give it to you? Get over yourself, Cena. But I'll tell ya what, why don't we make a little wager here. We each select anybody from the PrimeTime roster to represent us. If my guy wins, you don't get your rematch until I absolutely have to give it to you, thirty days, sixty days, whatever the rule is. But if your guy wins, I'll give you a rematch next week". CENA CRACKS A BIG SMILE. Cena: "That's it"? Orton: "That's it". Cena: "You're on". CENA WALKS AWAY AND ORTON JUST LOOKS ON AS THE SHOT FADES. COMMERCIAL BREAK....... A COMMERCIAL FOR SUBWAY IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY A FOX PROGRAMMING AD FOR "THE SIMPSONS". RETURN FROM BREAK....... October 5, 2005: Footage is shown of Vlad the Impaler defeating Chaos Wolf in a Stretcher match at TWF Eruption. *RESULTS WILL BE SEMI-CONDENSED FROM THIS POINT* Rene Dupree w/ Dawn Marie vs. Johnny Hazard w/ The Harem It was just last week when Rene Dupree confronted Johnny Hazard, disgusted over the way he and The Harem had celebrated in the ring. But Dupree got a close up look of the 4 girls tonight, all wearing revealing outfits. But Dupree used several underhanded tactics to get ahead in this match, and after a distraction from Dawn Marie, a low blow from Dupree allowed him to set up his "Dupree Bomb". But Hazard escaped and took Dupree to the mat with a reverse DDT. Dawn Marie saw this and got on the apron, looking to draw Hazard over. But The Harem went to that side of the ring and pulled Dawn to the mat, each taking their shots at her which the crowd loved. In the ring, Hazard whipped Dupree to the ropes and kicked him in the gut before hitting the "Toxic Drop" which put an end to what was a really good match. Match Time: 8:23 BACKSTAGE..... IN THE BACK, MARIA IS STANDING BY WITH JOE COREY AND PAUL HEYMAN. COREY HAS THE ECW WORLD TITLE OVER HIS LEFT SHOULDER. Maria: "Okay, Joe Corey, last week we all saw you introduced as Shane McMahon's top lottery pick and tonight, you're scheduled for a match. Can you tell us who your opponent is gonna be"? Joe Corey: "As long as you tell us..... oh, nevermind. Maria, tonight is my very first match on PrimeTime, and I wanted it to be memorable. So I allowed Paul here to select my first opponent and from what he's told me, it will be a top notch opponent". COREY AND HEYMAN WALK AWAY AS THE SHOT GOES BACK TO THE RING. Jordan Rockwell vs. Deuce w/ Cherry and Domino After facing Domino last week, Rockwell took on the other half of that team this week and having both Domino and Cherry at ringside provided Deuce plenty of distraction for Rockwell and allowed him to bring his brawling style right on the Franchise. After a sit down spinebuster, Deuce went to the middle turnbuckle and came off with a fistdrop, but Rockwell rolled out of the way. Rockwell got up and whipped Deuce to the corner, following in with a big clothesline and after a backdrop suplex, he had the fans back in the match. Rockwell picked Deuce up and hit a swinging sideslam we haven't seen him use in years, known as the Scarlet Fever. Domino got up on the apron but caught a right hand from Rockwell, who then hit the Rock Smasher on Deuce. Rockwell went into the cover and got a 2 count before Domino came into the ring to break it up. Referee Mike Enos called for the bell, disqualifying Deuce but he and Domino were all over Rockwell, beating him down with punches and kicks. But the crowd went absolutely nuts when Shawn Michaels ran out and slid into the ring, taking both Deuce and Domino out with superkicks. Rockwell got up and he and Michaels stood eye to eye before "Sexy Boy" hit and for the first time, the two men shook hands, much to the crowd's delight. Match Time: 4:12 COMMERCIAL BREAK.......... RETURN FROM BREAK........ January 4, 2006: Footage is shown from War in the Winter of Chaos Wolf tossing Vlad the Impaler 15 feet through a stack of tables to win the Elevated Fall match. Umaga w/ Armando Alejandro Estrada vs. Lex Lovett (invitee) Umaga, who was obtained in a recent trade for Chris Masters, had his first official match on PrimeTime here and Lex Lovett when home in a lot of pain. After knocking the relatively unknown wrestler around the ring with headbutts, Umaga shot him to the ropes for an incredible Samoan Drop after throwing him in the air. Umaga then loaded up his thumb and delivered the "Samoan Spike" for the easy 1......2.......3. Match Time: 3:09 BACKSTAGE...... Maria: "Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, "High Octane" Damion West! HIGH OCTANE COMES INTO THE SHOT, SMILING. Damion, now that you have been drafted by PrimeTime, what are your thoughts"? High Octane: "Well, Maria, anyone who has watched me on Rampage over the years knows I go out and give one hundred percent every night. I'm thrilled to be here, thrilled for the new oppurtunity, and I plan to make the most of it". Maria: "It's been awhile since we've seen you in the ring, how's your foot doing"? High Octane: "You mean my knee? It's almost fully rehabbed, just waiting for the doc to give me the OK to get back in there". JUST THEN, FINLAY WALKS UP AND GETS IN WEST's FACE. Finlay: "Hey Octane, just so you know, things here on PrimeTime are gonna be a lot rougher than they were on Rampage. I mean, the chances of you being a three time champion are around here are about as good as Maria becoming a brain surgeon". High Octane: "Really? I'll have to keep that in mind, thanks, Finlay". HIGH OCTANE TURNS TO WALK AWAY, BUT TURNS BACK AND DRILLS FINLAY WITH A SUPERKICK, KNOCKING HIM FLAT ON THE FLOOR! "METALINGUS" BY ALTERBRIDGE HITS AND EDGE COMES TO THE RING IN STREET CLOTHES, HOLDING HIS INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE. EDGE CLAIMS HE IS READY FOR SOME "ACTUAL COMPETITION" ON PRIMETIME AND ISSUES AN OPEN CHALLENGE TO ANYONE IN THE BACK FOR A FUTURE SHOT AT THE IC TITLE. THE CROWD GOES INTO A FRENZY WHEN "THIS FIRE BURNS" BY KILLSWITCH ENGAGE HITS AND CM PUNK COMES OUT. AFTER EDGE AND PUNK HAVE SOME WORDS, EDGE SLAPS HIM ACROSS THE FACE! PUNK TAKES EDGE DOWN WITH A DOUBLE LEG AND POUNDS HIM WITH A COUNTLESS AMOUNT OF RIGHT HANDS. EDGE GETS TO HIS FEET, BUT PUNK SMOKES HIM WITH A SPINNING HEEL KICK, KNOCKING EDGE TO THE MAT. THE CROWD LOUDLY POPS AS EDGE ROLLS OUT OF THE RING AND RETREATS WITH HIS BELT AS "THIS FIRE BURNS" PLAYS AGAIN. BACKSTAGE...... CAMERAS IN THE BACK CATCH A MEETING BETWEEN RANDY ORTON AND PJ CASH. Randy Orton: "So like I said, man, I'm confident that you can follow in my footsteps and become one of the top superstars here on PrimeTime. So what do ya say, you want to represent the Legend Killer tonight, or what"? PJ Cash: "Seems like a good investment...... I'll do it". COMMERCIAL BREAK........... RETURN FROM BREAK.... BACKSTAGE..... WHEN PRIMETIME RETURNS, THE FANS CHEER AS RIC FLAIR COMES UP TO JOHN CENA. Ric Flair: "Hey, John, I just wanted to let you know, unless you've already got someone else, I'd love to represent you tonight.... I'm your man". John Cena: "Hmmm.... put my possible rematch in the hands of Ric Flair..... it would be an honor". CENA AND FLAIR SHAKE HANDS AND FLAIR WALKS AWAY. Non-Title Match Chavo Guerrero vs. ECW World Champ: "The Show" Joe Corey w/ Paul Heyman Joe Corey's first match on PrimeTime ended up being a very competitive one. He and Chavo went at it in some great chain wrestling, but when Chavo put his head down too soon off an irish whip, Corey went for the "Showstopper". But Chavo countered out of it and took Corey to the mat, locking in an STF. Chavo had Corey in some trouble, but Corey was able to get to the ropes to break the hold. Moments later, Chavo delivered his version of the 3 Amigos suplexes before going to the top rope. But Chavo became distracted when he saw the TWF Tag Team champions, the Blood Brothers, on their way to the ring. After taking his eye off Corey for a moment, Chavo flew off the top rope but Corey kicked him in the midsection and hit the Showstopper for the 1........2.......3. Match Time: 8:12 After the match, the Blood Brothers came into the ring and used their staffs to attack Chavo, knocking him out of the ring. Sean O'Haire and Dustin Kash then removed their trench coats, revealing ECW T-shirts! Both men high-fived Corey and the crowd loudly booed as "Miseria Cantare" loudly played. BACKSTAGE.... DRESSING ROOM..... CAMERAS SHOW SHAWN MICHAELS AND JORDAN ROCKWELL TALKING AND THEY APPEAR TO HAVE PATCHED UP ANY DIFFERENCES THEY MAY'VE HAD. JUST THEN, THERE IS A KNOCK AT THE DOOR. Shawn Michaels: "It's open"! THE DOOR SWINGS OPEN, AND IT's MARIA. Maria: "Uh.... hi guys. I'm supposed to come and tell you that Deuce and Domino have challenged the two of you to a match next week". ROCKWELL AND MICHAELS LOOK AT EACH OTHER. Jordan Rockwell: "I'm up for it". Shawn Michaels: "Go tell those 1950's rejects to get themselves ready.... they've got a match"! PJ Cash vs. Ric Flair John Cena and Randy Orton had to have a close eye on this one. Would Cena get a rematch next week, or have to wait until Orton was forced to give him a rematch? Ric Flair and PJ Cash wasted no time getting after it. Cash was the aggressor early, using his speed to get around the aging Flair. But Flair was able to block a backdrop suplex with a back elbow to the head before raking his fingers across Cash's eyes. Flair then laced the chest of the young millionaire with 3 knifedge chops, but Cash surprisingly fired back with 3 chops of his own. Flair blocked a right hand, but this time, Cash poked him in the eyes. After letting out a loud "Woooooooooo", Cash drove Flair into the mat with a DDT. He went for the cover, but Flair was up at 2. After a scoop slam, Cash went to the top rope but Flair got up and punched him twice in the abdomen before bringing Cash off the top with a slam, a position he's used to being in himself. When Cash got up, Flair took him out with a chop block before going at the right knee like a shark smelling blood. Cash fought him off and caught Flair with a nasty kick right in the mouth. Cash then pulled Flair up and whipped him to the ropes, following in with a vicious kick to the face. Flair looked like he was out on his feet as Cash went up to the middle turnbuckle, pounding the Nature Boy with right hands. But suddenly, Flair grabbed Cash by the tights and brought him off the turnbuckle with a bit of a powerbomb. From there, Flair got on the Figure Four and Cash had nowhere to go. He fought it all he could, but had to tap out. Match Time: 6:27 A 3 MINYTE VIDEO PACKAGE ROLLS, HIGHLIGHTING THE UPS AND DOWNS OF CHAOS WOLF AND VLAD THE IMPALER's LONG RELATIONSHIP AS FRIENDS, ENEMIES AND TAG TEAM PARTNERS. COMMERCIAL BREAK........ RETURN FROM BREAK.... RINGSIDE.... WHEN PRIMETIME RETURNS, "IN THE END" BY LINKIN PARK HITS AND CHAOS WOLF COMES OUT TO A LOUD ROUND OF BOOS. Cole: "We are back here on PrimeTime and things are about to get ugly". JBL: "We have looked back on the history between Chaos Wolf and Vlad the Impaler all night! Tonight, in Oklahoma City, we will witness the final chapter"! WITH WOLF IN THE RING, "TNT" BY AC/DC COMES ON AND VLAD THE IMPALER COMES OUT, CARRYING A GARBAGE CAN FULL OF WEAPONS. THE FANS BOO HIM AS WELL AND CHAOS WOLF LEAVES THE RING, REACHING UNDER THE APRON BEFORE TOSSING A VARIETY OF OBJECTS AND WEAPONS INTO THE RING. Cole: "And here comes the man who has been friends with Chaos Wolf but he's been enemies with him too and tonight, it will cost one of these men their spot on the PrimeTime roster"! JBL: "I believe it was Chaos Wolf who said they've been good friends, but much better enemies and if you can't tell, Michael, these two are ready to tear each other limb from limb"! Cole: "Well throw in the fact that this is an eye quit match and how is the fact that Vlad likes to wear that gas mask going to play into how this goes"? JBL: "One way or another, one of these men is going to have to swallow their pride and say I quit, quitting their job in the process"! Cole: "And conspicuous by his absence, John, is James Mitchell. We're being told he doesn't agree with this match, so he refuses to be a part of it". JBL: "Well to Mitchell's credit, he's tried to prevent this, but it's too late now, these two are ready to get it on"! Loser Leaves PrimeTime/I Quit Match Vlad the Impaler vs. Chaos Wolf With weapons strewn around the ring, the bell sounded and the two men met in the center, swinging away at each other. After ducking a wold shot, Wolf caught Vlad with a dropkick, but that was as close to a wrestling move as we would see. Wolf grabbed a stop sign but when he raised it over his head, Vlad used a drop toehold and Wolf fell face first onto the sign. Vlad then picked up a nearby kendo stick and smacked Wolf 3 times across the back, breaking the stick. After a big DDT, Vlad grabbed the microphone from referee Mike Chioda and held it to the mouth of Wolf. "Screw You"! yelled Wolf, and he flung Vlad off him. Vlad threw a right hand, but Wolf blocked it and kicked him in the abdomen before kicking him again, this time in the groin. As Vlad crumpled to the mat, Wolf picked up the stop sign again and just blasted Vlad over the head with it. The mask Vlad wears may've helped him absorb some of the shot, but Wolf was still in control now. Following a swinging neckbreaker, Wolf reached into the trash can that Vlad came out with, and pulled out a janitor's broom, using the stick to choke out Vlad. Wolf then became the first man to use a submission hold, locking in a Lion Tamer type Boston crab. Chioda was down asking Vlad what he wanted to do, but got no response. Wolf finally let go of the hold and pulled Vlad up, shooting him to the ropes, but Vlad responded with a cactus clothesline. After dumping out the contents of the trash can, Vlad placed it over Wolf's head and took the janitor's broom, smashing the trash can with it. Wolf fell to the mat with the can still over his head and Vlad pulled him out before using a stumppuller piledriver, driving Wolf head first into the trash can. Vlad then locked in a chicken wing, but Wolf refused to give in. Vlad pulled him up and whipped him to the corner but he ran right into a boot to the face and Wolf came out with a back heel kick. Wolf then went outside the ring and pulled out a table, sending it into the ring. But as he was setting it up, Vlad kicked him in the back of the legs and picked him up for a backdrop suplex. The crowd then cheered as Vlad picked up one of the things that came out of the trash can..... a small black bag. Vlad poured the bag out onto the mat and thousands of thumb tacks littered the ring! Wolf got up and raked the face of Vlad before grabbing him for a running bulldog. But when he jumped, Vlad freed himself and sent Wolf sailing through the air and he landed right on the island of tacks! Wolf's shirt was able to block most of the tacks from piercing his skin, but he still had several sticking out of his legs and arms. Wolf was in a lot of pain, and Vlad saw the oppurtunity. Vlad ripped open 2 long cardboard boxes, bringing one of his favorite weapons into the match.... flourescant light bulbs! Vlad pushed the table out of the way and went outside the ring, pulling a ladder out from under it. The fans were on their feet as Vlad began to climb the ladder but Wolf, even with the tacks sticking out of him, got to his feet and went to the apron, grabbing hold of the ladder. Wolf then started to climb the ladder as well, grabbing Vlad right in the front of the mask. What would follow has to be one of the most amazing moments in TWF history, as Wolf flipped Vlad off the ladder, sending him right into the flourescant lightbulbs, which exploded on impact! A loud "Holy Shit" chant filled the arena as Wolf came back down the ladder. Wolf demanded that Chioda ask Vlad what he wanted to do, but Vlad shook his head no. Wolf went and stood over Vlad, ripping off his gas mask. He then clubbed him several times on either side of the head before locking in a rear naked choke. Vlad was fading out, but he would not call it quits. Wolf released the hold and went to the top rope, which turned out to be a bad decision. He came flying off the top but Wolf drove a right fist into his stomach before throwing him face first into all the broken glass from the light bulbs! Wolf was cut up very badly and Vlad picked him up for the "Lights Out". Somehow, Wolf grabbed the top rope to block the hold and Vlad just threw him over the top rope. Wolf landed hard on the floor outside the ring, but he was able to find a steel chair not far away. Vlad reached for Wolf through the ring ropes, but Wolf pounded the chair over his head, knocking him back to the mat. Fans were puzzled as they watched Wolf reaching under the apron where it met the ring mat. They were shocked when he pulled out a stun gun. Wolf squeezed the trigger of the mechanism, causing a volt of electricity to run through it. Vlad was slow to get up, and he couldn't see what was coming. With no relent at all, Wolf shocked him with the stun gun. Vlad yelled in agony, but when Chioda asked "What's it gonna be, Vlad"? Vlad replied, "Hell no"! So Wolf promptly shocked him again, and sent a jolt through his entire body. "I'm done, I'm done", yelled Vlad as Chioda asked for the bell. Match Time: 26:38 JBL: "That's it! Vlad the Impaler has just quit"! Cole: "People could be jailed over what these two men just did to each other, and there is no question that neither man will ever be the same again"! JBL: "But for Chaos Wolf, his PrimeTime career continues, while Vlad's has come to a screeching halt"! "IN THE END" PLAYED AGAIN AS CHAOS WOLF HOBBLED UP THE RAMP, TRYING HIS BEST TO RAISE HIS ARM IN VICTORY. Cole: "We knew it would be ugly, we knew there would be bloodshed, but I don't think anyone expected this"! OFF AIR..............
