1st Mariner Center

Baltimore, Maryland

Attendance: 8,175

June 16, 2007

Fans in the Baltimore area came out in bunches to catch the superstars of PrimeTime as they head to Payback. Earlier in the day, an autograph signing featuring Johnny Hazard and his Harem attracted some 2,000 people!

Kenny Doane vs. The Amazing Red (invitee)

Making his debut on the PrimeTime division, Kenny Doane took on one of the world's most fun to watch wrestlers. But Doane was quick enough to avoid Red's speed and aerial assault and after a reverse DDT right onto his knee, Doane delivered a roll of the dice neckbreaker that could've defeated Red. But he went to the top rope for the icing on the cake and came off with a legdrop from high in the air, right across Red's throat for the win.

The Hardy's vs. The Shane Twins (invitees)

Fans were stoked to see Matt and Jeff, two more recent acquisitions for PrimeTime, but many fans expected the much bigger Shane Twins, who have also competed in other circles as The Gymini, to give them some problems. That wasn't to be as Matt and Jeff proved to be at the top of their game and after taking one of the twins out of the ring, Matt and Jeff hit the other with Poetry in Motion. Matt then led him right into the "Twist of Fate" before his younger brother Jeff came off the top rope with the Swanton Bomb for an extremely impressive win.

Robbie McCallister w/ Rory vs. Gangrel w/ Ariel and Kevin Thorn

Uprising's main event featured the Highlanders battling the new vampire trio, although it was one on one. Gangrel used all the distraction he could from his two allies to get the upperhand on Robbie. But Robbie, although strange, showed just how tough he is by hanging in there. As Ariel distracted the referee, Gangrel used a small package on Robbie and had a handful of tights. But Rory came into the ring and reversed their position, rolling his cousin into the cover as the ref turned to make the 3 count! But after the match, Thorn made the Highlanders pay for it, attacking them both with his walking stick.

Thorn's music played and he left with both Ariel and Gangrel while the crowd voiced their opinions with boos.

PRIMETIME GOES LIVE

PRIMETIME STARTS UP WITH IT's OPENING MONTAGE VIDEO WITH "RAP SUPERSTAR". THE ARENA COMES INTO THE SHOT AND PYRO POPS OFF EVERYWHERE ON THE SET.

WHEN THE PYRO TAPERS OFF, UMAGA's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT TO A LOT OF BOOS WITH ARMANDO ALEJANDRO ESTRADA LEADING HIM.

Michael Cole: "It's time again for the number one program in wrestling! Michael Cole and JBL are ringside and here comes the Samoan Bulldozer"!

JBL: "Umaga has only scratched the surface on what he can do here in the TWF, Michael! This man will leave his mark here on PrimeTime"!

SUPER CRAZY's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT TO A PRETTY GOOD CHEER FROM THE CROWD.

Cole: "Super Crazy will provide the opposition tonight and John, what does he have to do to win this match"?

JBL: "Is that a serious question, Michael? I hope you drank enough tequila before coming out Crazy.... you won't feel a thing"!

Umaga w/ Armando Alejandro Estrada vs. Super Crazy

The bell sounded to start the match, and Super Crazy baited Umaga into coming at him. Crazy slipped away and then kicked Umaga in each side of his body before hitting the ropes but Umaga was waiting with a thrust to the throat. After whipping Crazy to the corner, Umaga moved in and slapped the chest of Crazy, sending a echoing smack through the 1st Mariner Center. Umaga whipped Crazy to the ropes and threw him into the air, pulling him down into a Samoan drop, truly an incredible move. Umaga grabbed the right arm of Crazy and pulled him back into the corner, leaving him in a seated position. Umaga then went to the other side of the ring, but he took a lot of time and shouted something in Samoan before charging in, looking to smash Crazy with his backside. But Crazy moved out of the way and got to his feet, hitting the ropes and catching Umaga with a flying heel kick. Umaga was teetering back and forth, but Umaga was able to duck a crossbody attempt and Crazy just flew into the ring ropes. After pulling Crazy up by the hair, Umaga used a jumping headbutt which split Crazy wide open. Bleeding from the forehead, Crazy then fell victim to the "Samoan Spike" and Umaga made a very nonchalant cover to complete the convincing win.

Match Time: 6:44

Cole: "A very dominant performance by Umaga and when you look around at the superstars here on PrimeTime, the list can't be long as far as guys wanting to get in there with this guy"!

UMAGA's MUSIC PLAYS AND HE AND ESTRADA LEAVE, CELEBRATING THE WIN.

JBL: "Like I said, if Super Crazy did what I told him too, if he had enough of that El Presidente, then hopefully he didn't feel too much of that because that was nasty"!

BACKSTAGE.....

THE CAMERA SWITCHES SCENE TO WHERE GABRIEL CROSS IS GETTING CHECKED OUT BY MEDICAL PERSONEL. THEY LOOKED CONCERNED OVER HIS NECK BUT GABRIEL SHAKES OFF THEIR CONCRENS AS MARIA WALKS UP.

Maria: "Gabriel, Gabriel! Last week the Blood Brothers like, totally distracted you and caused you to lose your match with Kato. And afterwards, they like, completely attacked you and..."

Gabriel Cross: (holding his neck) "Stop right there, Maria. I lost my match last week, because I lost focus. But tonight, no distractions. ECW thinks three on one odds is taking it to the extreme? I have my own brand of extreme...it's one on one...inside of a cage with eight sides to it."

Maria: "Ummmmmmmm...but Mr. Cross, your match tonight with Dustin Kash isn't in an...(starts counting on her fingers) Octagon".

Gabriel Cross: "That might be true, but no matter the outcome tonight... the fight against ECW will continue. Even if I'm the only one with the guts to do it..."

GABRIEL WALKS OFF, STILL HOLDING HIS NECK.

COMMERCIAL BREAK.......

A COMMERCIAL FOR SOUTHWEST AIRLINES IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY ONE FOR KEYSTONE LIGHT.

RETURN FROM BREAK.... SHANE McMAHON's OFFICE.....

SHANE McMAHON IS SHOWN IN HIS OFFICE WHEN PAUL HEYMAN COMES IN ALONG WITH JOE COREY. THE TWO ARE LAUGHING AND CARRYING ON.

Paul Heyman: "What did you summon us for, oh boy wonder, my client and I have a big night planned, so can you make it snappy"?

Shane McMahon: "Oh, I can make it real snappy. I just thought you should know, Joe Corey, that since you wanted to use your title belt to win your match over Johnny Hazard last week, I didn't think you'd have a problem with being able to use it legally at Payback".

Heyman: "What... what are you saying"?

Joe Corey: "Hold on, Paul, I've got this.

COREY MOVES HEYMAN OUT OF THE WAY.

If you are saying that I will be facing Johnny Hazard in an Extreme Rules match at Payback, let me end the suspense. I beat Hazard last week, and I'll be happy to do it again. Ya see, Shane, I am the ECW World champion, and I don't care what you try and throw at me..... got it"?

COREY AND HEYMAN LEAVE THE OFFICE AND SHANE JUST LOOKS ON, NOT IMPRESSED.

BACK AT RINGSIDE, "REPEAT OFFENDER" BY TRAPT IS PLAYING AND GABRIEL CROSS IS GETTING LOOSE IN THE RING.

Cole: "So Johnny Hazard has gotten himself an ECW World title shot at Payback, but here's another guy who has stepped up in the face of ECW, Gabriel Cross".

THE USUAL ENTRANCE RESERVED FOR ECW SUPERSTARS IS SHOWN IN THE STANDS AND THE LIGHTS GO OUT. "MISERIA CANTARE" BY AFI STARTS UP AND THE BLOOD BROTHERS STEP THROUGH THE BLACK CURTAIN TO A LOT OF BOOS. THEY ARE WEARING THEIR TAG TEAM TITLES AND CARRYING THEIR MARTIAL ARTS STAFFS.

JBL: "And here they come, Michael, boy do I love this entrance! You're only gonna see this for the stars of ECW.... no one else"!

Cole: "And it looks like Dustin Kash isn't coming alone, but I like what Gabriel Cross eluded to earlier. This man is a fighter, John. A trained cage fighter, with wrestling ability".

JBL: "Well don't sleep on Dustin Kash. Both he and Sean O'Haire are very accomplished singles wrestlers, despite being the top tag team in the TWF today! Cage fighter or not, Gabriel Cross has his hands full here"!

Gabriel Cross vs. Dustin Kash w/ Sean O'Haire

After hearing the bell sound, Cross respectfully waited for Kash to remove his trench coat, but Kash turned and threw it and him. Cross was able to duck it though and he picked Kash up, driving him into the mat. From a mounted position, Cross struck Kash with forearm smash after forearm smash. Kash could do little to defend himself, but referee Mickey Henson allowed it to go on. Cross went from the striking position right into an armbar and Kash was in a ton of trouble. But he was able to use his free arm to reach the bottom ring rope, allowing himself to stay in the match. Kash got up, holding his right arm in pain and Cross went right at it, kicking him in the arm. But with his left hand, Kash raked his fingers across the eyes of Cross. He then hit the ropes, but Cross blasted him with a yakuza kick and covered him for the 1......2......., but Kash was up. Cross pulled Kash to his feet and trying to negotiate a judo throw over his body, but Kash was able to counter it and he pulled Cross down backwards right across his own back, a backbreaker similar to the one Randy Orton uses. Kash then put the boots to Cross before asking O'Haire for his fighting staff. O'Haire tossed it into the ring and Kash caught it. But Henson grabbed hold of one side and tried to get it away. Kash acted as if Henson threw him into the corner but it was just a ploy for O'Haire to get involved. But Cross was ready for it, knocking O'Haire off the apron with a roundhouse kick right in the head. But Cross turned around and Kash was waiting with a running boot of his own which led to a shining wizard, a move we've yet to see Kash use. He then picked Cross up and delivered a nasty vertebreaker, rolling him over for the 3 count.

Match Time: 4:47

Cole: "The numbers game has done Gabriel Cross in again"!

JBL: "Well you mentioned it at the start of the match, Michael, Gabriel Cross is stepping up against the ECW, but he's not doing a very good job of it"!

"MISERIA CANTARE" PLAYED AGAIN AND O'HAIRE CAME INTO THE RING, GIVING CROSS ANOTHER KICK TO THE RIBS BEFORE HE AND KASH LEFT TO A LOT OF BOOS WITH THEIR BELTS.

Cole: "Somehow things have to be evened up! If you have two, three, four guys on one, of course you're gonna have an advantage"!

BACKSTAGE AREA.......

IN THE BACK, MARIA IS SHOWN WITH BOBBY LASHLEY.

Maria: "Bobby Lashley, you just came from Shane McMahon's office, can you tell us what it was all about"?

Bobby Lashley: "Well, Shane and I agreed that this little situation I have with Axl Irvin needs to be addressed. He's won one match, I've won one match. So at Payback, it'll be me and him, inside a fifteen foot high steel cage".

Maria: "Wow, that's......

JUST THEN, JILLIAN HALL COMES INTO THE SHOT.

Jillian Hall: "Hey, Bobby. I just thought that since you have the night off, maybe you'd want to go hang out here in Baltimore somewhere".

Lashley: "Uh.... sure, that sounds good".

MARIA LOOKS SURPRISED AS LASHLEY WALKS AWAY WITH JILLIAN.

BACK AT RINGSIDE, CHAVO GUERRERO's MUSIC IS PLAYING AND HE IS COMING TO THE RING. INSIDE THE RING, THE BLACK TIGER IS SHOWN.

JBL: "What the hell was that"?!

Cole: "Oh, that's the Black Tiger.......

JBL: "No, not that you idiot, Jillian Hall is supposed to be on Rampage"!

Cole: "Well she's here tonight and apparently, going on a date with Bobby Lashley"!

JBL: "Well let's talk about this match, Chavo Guerrero facing some guy that is dressed as the Black Tiger, a guise his Uncle Eddie Guerrero made famous in Japan"!

Cole: "Well we saw the Black Tiger's first match last week and he was rather impressive but things will probably be a bit tougher tonight".

Chavo Guerrero vs. The Black Tiger

This turned out to be a terrific match and shortly into it, Daivari came out on top of the ramp with his Lightheavyweight title to get a closer look. Chavo was able to recover from an awesome aerial display by the Black Tiger, slowing him down by attacking his lower back. After dropping him across his knee with a backbreaker, Chavo delivered the '3 Amigos' suplexes that Eddie used to use so frequently. Chavo then went to the top rope, possibly looking for a Frog Splash. But Chavo thought better of it and went and picked the Black Tiger up for the "Gory Bomb". But before he could hit it, the Black Tiger escaped and delivered a reverse falling neckbreaker. From there, the Black Tiger went to the top rope and came off with a beautiful corkscrew into a cover and got the 3 count. Daivari even seemed impressed, applauding the effort.

Match Time: 7:37

Cole: "Look at that, the Black Tiger has done it again"!

JBL: "Incredible performance, Michael! This guy is just amazing"!

Cole: "Even Daivari seems impressed"!

THE BLACK TIGER STARES AT DAIVARI BEFORE SOMETHING STARTS UP ON THE VIDEO SCREEN.

The fans cheer as Jordan Rockwell and Shawn Michaels are shown on the PrimeTron.......

Jordan Rockwell: "Hey Deuce..... Domino, sorry to interrupt but Shawn and I heard that you two lost your car cause someone stole it from the arena and we just had to chime in and say something about this whole thing because, well we know who did it".

Shawn Michaels: "Yeah ya see, we know who it is cause it was............. well it it was him!

Michaels points at Rockwell and Rockwell hangs his head down.....

I don't know what it is with kids these days, ya turn your back on them for a moment, and they do things like this. but not to worry, cause i took control of the situation and I think he has something to say to you guys and to Cherry, don't you"?

Rockwell: "Sorry, I mean I saw the car and could not resist the urge to drive it but luckily, Shawn, as he said, took control of the situation and drove the car himself. That was until we had a small problem and well we kinda nicked your car up a bit".

The shot goes wide to reveal that not only were they in a junkyard but that the car got crushed into a giant cube and the fans loudly cheer.

JBL: "What are these idiots doing?! That is a 1967 Chevy Chevelle"!

Rockwell: "Enough screwing around, did you two jackoffs think we were gonna let you two get away with what happened last week, huh?! Did you really think for one second that you were gonna screw with us and we were gonna let you get away with it? Then again, from the look of you two walking grease spots, you ain't got a whole brain between you so I suspect that is what you thought but you made one mistake"!

Michaels: "You didn't make sure we stayed down and now we are going to make sure that is one mistake that you regret and that is why we are issuing the challenge for the two of you to face the two of us in a match at Payback"!

Rockwell: "Yeah, but that is then and I recall an old saying about why put off till tomorrow what you can do today and in other words, why wait to kick your asses when we could come to the arena and do it right here tonight in Baltimore, Maryland?!

The fans in the arena cheer again..........

And when tonight is over, much like at Payback, every wrestling fan around the world will jump to their feet, look up and shout to the heavens, dear god, Andrew "Dice" Clay and Arthur Fonzerelli just got their freakin asses kicked"!

With a car nearby, Rockwell gets into the driver side and Michaels into the passenger side and they took off, apprently heading for the arena.......

COMMERCIAL BREAK........

A COMMERCIAL FOR PEPSI IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY A PROMO FOR PAYBACK.

RETURN FROM BREAK..... BACKSTAGE.....

WHEN PRIMETIME RETURNS, RANDY ORTON IS SEEN WALKING FEVERISHLY THROUGH THE HALL WHEN HE FINDS SHANE McMAHON.

Randy Orton: "Hey Shane.... what gives, man"?!

Shane McMahon: "Oh let me guess, you're here to complain about having to face Cena at Payback".

Orton: "I don't know if you missed it, but I gave Cena his rematch last week".

Shane: "Oh, I saw it, and I saw you take a deliberate count out. Go ahead and do that at Payback, in fact, do it twice, then you can just hand the belt over to Cena".

SHANE WALKS AWAY AND ORTON IS CLEARLY ANNOYED.

IN THE RING, "NEW WORLD DISORDER" BY BIOHAZARD IS PLAYING AND JOHNNY HAZARD IS GETTING DOWN WITH THE HAREM. BUT THAT IS ALL CUT OFF WHEN THE LIGHTS GO OUT AND "MISERIA CANTARE" PLAYS AGAIN. KATO COMES OUT ALONG WITH SONNY ONOO, TO PLENTY OF BOOS.

Cole: "And here comes the newest member of ECW, who has been on a tear of late, John".

JBL: "Kato has been as good as anyone here on PrimeTime over the last few weeks and I consider him to be a perfect addition to the ECW contingent. If Johnny Hazard's not careful, he might not even make it to Payback to face Joe Corey"!

Cole: "We learned earlier that it will be extreme rules for the ECW title at Payback and if I'm Joe Corey, I'm preparing myself for a fight! But first, Hazard's gotta take on the red hot Kato"!

Johnny Hazard w/ The Harem vs. Kato w/ Sonny Onoo

The bell sounded and Hazard moved in on Kato, who was in a martial arts stance. Every time Hazard got in close, Kato threw a kick. Finally, Hazard shot a double leg but Kato slipped free and kicked him right in the face. After a chop to the head, Kato pulled Hazard up and whipped him to the corner, following in with a nice handspring into a back elbow. Kato then grabbed Hazard and delivered a great bulldog, making the cover, but he only got a 2 count. The crowd started to get behind Hazard, who had fallen into an early hole. Kato went for an irish whip to the corner but Hazard reversed it and charged in, only to eat a boot from Kato. Kato then went for a hurracanrana, but Hazard turned it into a sit down powerbomb and nearly got the win. The match had turned around dramatically though, and Hazard was on the offensive, taking it to Kato. After a snap suplex, Hazard came off the middle turnbuckle with a nice elbow drop, covering Kato for another long 2 count. Hazard pulled Kato up, but couldn't execute another move as Joe Corey and the Blood Brothers swarmed the ring, attacking Hazard. Referee Mike Enos called for the bell, disqualifying Kato, but Hazard was getting it handed to him with the odds 4 on 1. After a savage attack, Corey delivered the "Showstopper" before he and the rest of his men left to a lot of heat.

Match Time: 7:03

JBL: "Ya see that, Michael, Johnny Hazard better get used to it if he wants this battle with ECW"!

Cole: "Well I believe Hazard was well on his way to winning this match, and ECW knew it"!

ECW CONTINUED TO BE BOOED AS THEY LEFT BACK THROUGH THE CROWD AND THROUGH THEIR OWN ENTRANCE.

JBL: "Like I said, Hazard better get used to this! I don't care how hardcore he thinks he is, there is no way he will go to war with ECW and win"!

BACKSTAGE.....

IN THE BACK, MARIA IS WITH DEUCE, DOMINO AND CHERRY.

Maria: "Uh, guys, earlier we saw that pretty little car of yours, or what was left it. How do you guys feel about that"?

Cherry: "What kind of question is that? How do you think they feel"?

Maria: "But.........

JUST THEN, CHERRY HAULS OFF AND SLAPS MARIA ACROSS THE FACE. DOMINO THEN GRABS HER BY THE ARM AND PULLS HER OUT OF THE SHOT. FANS IN THE ARENA BEGIN TO LOUDLY BOO AS DEUCE AND DOMINO ARE DRAGGING MARIA TO THE RING AS CHERRY FOLLOWS.

Cole: "Wait a minute, they're bringing Maria out here, John".

JBL: "Maria should've chosen her words a little more carefully, Michael"!

JUST AS CHERRY IS ABOUT TO LAY INTO MARIA, THE CROWD GOES WILD AS JORDAN ROCKWELL AND SHAWN MICHAELS RUN OUT AND HEAD TO THE RING, TAKING IT TO DEUCE AND DOMINO. ROCKWELL CATCHES DOMINO WITH THE EXTREME MEASURES JUST AS MICHAELS HITS THE SUPERKICK ON DEUCE. ROCKWELL AND MICHAELS ARE ALL FIRED UP, AS IS THE CROWD.

Cole: "Listen to this place"!

JBL: It's a good thing these boys came out here, cause I think we would've had to place a want ad for a new interview girl if they hadn't"!

DEUCE, DOMINO AND CHERRY RETREATED, LICKING THEIR WOUNDS AS MICHAELS AND ROCKWELL STOOD IN THE RING BEFORE "BACK IN BLACK" BY AC/DC PLAYED.

Cole: "They said they would be here, and in just under two weeks at Payback, these two teams will go at it"!

COMMERCIAL BREAK......

A COMMERCIAL FOR COORS LIGHT IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY A FOX PROGRAMMING AD FOR "SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE".

RETURN FROM BREAK.... RINGSIDE....

PRIMETIME RETURNS AND "METALINGUS" BY ALTER BRIDGE PLAYS BEFORE EDGE STEPS OUT TO NOTHING BUT BOOS, HOLDING THE INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE OVER HIS HEAD WITH 2 HANDS.

Cole: "We're back on PrimeTime and ready for part of tonight's double main event! But just announced........

A PROMO GRAPHIC CONTAINING THE PAYBACK LOGO IS SHOWN, WITH EDGE ON ONE SIDE AND CM PUNK ON THE OTHER.

Edge will be defending the Intercontinental title at Payback against the straight edge superstar who we will see later tonight, CM Punk".

"THE TIME IS NOW" PLAYS AND JOHN CENA STEPS OUT TO A FAVORABLE RESPONSE. AFTER SURVEYING THE CROWD, HE HEADS TO THE RING.

JBL: "That will be a great matchup, Michael, but I just feel that Edge is on a whole different level than CM Punk"!

Cole: "Edge set to take on the number one contender for the Universal title, John Cena"!

JBL: "John Cena looks focused tonight, Michael, but you know Randy Orton has his eyes on this match and would love to see Edge help him out by defeating him"!

Non-Title Match

John Cena vs. Intercontinental Champion: Edge

Edge and Cena locked up, and it was Edge who was able to get a hold of Cena's right arm, twisting it around. Cena tried to reverse it, but Edge just yanked at the arm before pushing Cena into the corner. Edge then threw a right hand, but Cena blocked it and fired back with a few of his own. Off an irish whip, Cena delivered a hip toss slam before pulling Edge up, right into his spinning sideslam. Cena had taken control of the match, and the crowd seemed almost 100% behind him. Cena picked Edge up and got him onto his shoulders for the "F-U", but Edge slipped off and pushed Cena right into referee Chris Kay. Cena's elbow struck Kay in the face, and he hit the mat hard. Edge then lined Cena up for the spear, but Cena moved out of the way and caught Edge with a big powerslam. Cena pulled Edge up, looking to finish him off, but Randy Orton had come out and gotten into the ring with a steel chair! But Cena saw him at the last possible second, right as he swung the chair, and Orton cracked Edge with it when Cena moved. Cena then clotheslined Orton over the top rope and slapped the STFU on Edge. Chris Kay finally came to, asking Edge if he wanted to give it up. When he got no response from the unconcious Intercontinental champion, he called for the bell, ending the match.

Match Time: 5:23

Cole: "Cena has just gained a head of steam heading into Payback"!

JBL: "Randy Orton's pkan backfired big time! He didn't mean to hit Edge with that chair"!

ORTON ANGRILY WALKED UP THE RAMP, LOOKING BACK AT A VICTORIOUS CENA WHILE "THE TIME IS NOW" PLAYED.

Cole: "Edge and Orton have been in this position before, and Orton has cost Edge another match"!

THE SCENE CUTS TO A BAR/NIGHTCLUB, WHERE TWF CAMERAS ARE ON HAND. BOBBY LASHLEY AND JILLIAN HALL ARE SHOWN SITTING AT A TABLE TOGETHER, EACH WITH SOME SORT OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE. BUT OUT OF NOWHERE, TRACI BROOKS SHOWS UP. WITH ALL THE NOISE INSIDE THE BUILDING, IT CAN'T BE MADE OUT WHAT's BEING SAID, BUT AXL IRVIN COMES FROM BEHIND AND BREAKS A BEER BOTTLE OVER LASHLEY's HEAD. JILLIAN INITIALLY ACTS STUNNED AS A BOUNCER COMES OVER AND ORDERS AXL AND TRACI TO LEAVE. THE BOUNCER SEEMS TO BE TELLING SOMEONE TO GET LASHLEY SOME HELP, WHEN THE CAMERA CATCHES A SLIGHT GRIN ON JILLIAN's FACE.

BACK TO THE ARENA, "DEFY YOU" BY OFFSPRING HITS AND PJ CASH COMES OUT IN A VERY NICE SUIT, TO A LOT OF BOOS. HE HAS A BLACK BRIEFCASE IN HIS RIGHT HAND.

Cole: "Can you believe that?! Jillian Hall set him up"!

JBL: "How do you draw that conclusion"?

Cole: "Oh come on, you saw her face"!

JBL: "Why don't you go apply for a job with the Baltimore P.D. then, Michael, if you're so damn smart"!

PJ Cash: "I'd say I've given Ric Flair more than enough time to make this decision, so come on out Ric, let's hear it"!

JBL: "This is gonna be interesting"!

THE FANS RISE TO THEIR FEET AND APPLAUD AS RIC FLAIR's MUSIC HITS AFTER A LOUD "WOOOOOOO", AND HE COMES OUT, ALSO WEARING A NICE SUIT.

Cole: "You can't honestly expect him to take this offer".

FLAIR GETS INTO THE RING, AND IS HANDED AN EXTRA MIC.

Cash: "I got a million dollars in here, Ric. (he holds up the briefcase) What's it gonna be"?

Ric Flair: "Well, PJ, I gotta tell ya, I've thought long and hard about this. Your offer has made me think about all the ups and downs of my career. From the day I broke into this business, to my matches with guys like Harley Race, the toughest man I ever knew, to the American Dream Dusty Rhodes...... Ricky Steamboat..... Terry Funk..... Sting.

THE CROWD CHEERS AFTER EACH NAME.

Then, came the group that changed this business forever.

FLAIR HOLDS UP FOUR FINGERS AS THE CROWD APPLAUDS.

Nobody could touch us, nobody. I traveled this world with my best friend, Double A, Arn Anderson.

A TEAR ROLLS DOWN FLAIR's CHEEK.

It's been a great ride, man. Then I thought about your offer. You're a guy, loaded with talent. If anyone could follow in the footsteps of the Nature Boy, it might just be you. A million dollars is a lot of money, kid. So I've made my decision, a pretty simple one too.

FLAIR TAKES THE BRIEFCASE FROM CASH AND THE FANS ARE IN SHOCK. BUT THEY QUICKLY CHEER AGAIN WHEN HE TOSSES THE BRIEFCASE ASIDE.

I don't need your stinkin' money! You honestly think you can buy off the Nature Boy, you son of a bitch"?!

NOT KNOWING WHAT ELSE TO DO, CASH ROCKS FLAIR WITH A RIGHT HAND. BUT FLAIR SHAKES IT OFF AND BLASTS HIM WITH A BARRAGE OF KNIFEDGE CHOPS FOLLOWED BY RIGHTS AND LEFTS. FLAIR SHOOTS CASH TO THE ROPES, BUT CASH STOPS HIS MOMENTUM AND GETS OUT OF THE RING. FLAIR RUNS OVER AND KICKS THE BRIEFCASE UNDER THE BOTTOM ROPE TO CASH. HIS MUSIC THEN PLAYS AGAIN AND THE FANS ARE LOVING IT.

Cole: "I gotta tell ya, John, it looked like he was gonna take it".

JBL: "I'd like to say that Ric Flair is a fool for turning down a million dollars, but I can't. This is the greatest wrestler to ever step through the ropes..... you can't put a price on what he's done"!

Cole: "Don't go away folks, plenty of action still to come"!

COMMERCIAL BREAK......

A COMMERCIAL FOR COCA-COLA IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY ONE FOR DIRECT TV FEATURING PAMELA ANDERSON.

RETURN FROM BREAK.... RINGSIDE.....

WHEN PRIMETIME RETURNS, "DOWN WITH THE SICKNESS" BY DISTURBED KICKS UP AND HIGH OCTANE COMES OUT TO A HUGE CHEER. BUT HALFWAY DOWN THE RAMP, HE IS ATTACKED BY FINLAY, WHO WAS HIDING ON THE SIDE OF THE RAMP. THE FANS BOO AS FINLAY TAKES IT TO HIGH OCTANE, BEFORE DELIVERING THE "CELTIC CROSS" RIGHT ON THE RAMP.

Cole: "Where the hell did Finlay come from"?!

JBL: "That's what you call a calculated attack by one of the best veterans on our roster, Michael, what a move by Finlay".

OFFICIALS COME OUT FROM THE BACK TO MAKE SURE FINLAY LEAVES.

Cole: "We were supposed to have Finlay and High Octane one on one, but it doesn't look like that's gonna happen now".

JBL: "Finlay has been trying to show High Octane what a different world PrimeTime is from Rampage. I think he just accomplished that".

REPLAYS ARE SHOWN OF THE ATTACK.

"THIS FIRE BURNS" BY KILLSWITCH ENGAGE COMES ON AND CM PUNK COMES OUT TO ONE OF THE BIGGEST POPS ALL NIGHT. HIGH OCTANE IS STILL BEING HELPED UP THE RAMP BY OFFICIALS, AND PUNK CHECKS TO MAKE SURE HE's OKAY.

Cole: "Concern being shown by CM Punk, who teamed with High Octane last week".

JBL: "Well CM Punk better get his mind off that and get his mind on facing the number one guy on PrimeTime"!

BOOS LITTER THE 1st MARINER CENTER AS "BURN IN MY LIGHT" BY MERCY DRIVE PLAYS AND RANDY ORTON STEPS OUT AS HIS FLOWING PYRO GOES OFF, ILLUMINATING THE UNIVERSAL TITLE THAT IS STRAPPED AROUND HIS WAIST.

Cole: "In just under two weeks, Randy Orton will put the Universal title on the line in a two out of three falls match against John Cena"!

JBL: "And I understand Orton's argument, he gave Cena his rematch last week and Shane McMahon goes and hands him another one? Sounds like favoritism to me".

Cole: "This should be one heck of a match, John. You've got the straight edge, very unique style of CM Punk against the cocky, arrogant, Orton, who was basically born into this business".

Non-Title Match

CM Punk vs. Universal Champion: Randy Orton

The bell sounded. Orton and Punk stared across the ring at each other, both looking supremely confident. What would follow may end up being a match of the year candidate. Orton and Punk exchanged in some classic chain wrestling, with Orton able to finally reverse an irish whip and drill Punk with his incredible dropkick. Orton then got down, wanting to keep Punk grounded in a reverse chin lock. But Punk spun out of the hold and actually let Orton get to his feet. They locked up again, and this time, Punk scored with 2 quick arm drags. He then grabbed Orton and whipped him to the ropes, but Orton stopped himself by grabbing the top rope to avoid a dropkick. Orton then rolled Punk up with a bridge and got a 2 count. Orton beat Punk to the next punch, and then rocked him with 2 european uppercuts. Orton then went for his unique backbreaker, but Punk slipped out of his grasp and got in a sleeper hold. He jumped onto Orton's shoulders, using a bodyscissor for more leverage. Orton did the only thing he could do, fall backwards, and he landed right on Punk, causing him to release the hold. Orton kept the fight coming, catching Punk with a textbook powerslam off an irish whip. But after getting a 2 count, Orton went to the top rope, measuring Punk for a crossbody block, a move he's won matches with before. But on his way down, Punk nailed a dropkick that took him right out of the air. Punk got up and the crowd got behind him as he let out a passionate yell. Punk hammered away on Orton with right hands before shooting him to the corner, following in with a nasty high knee to the head. From there, Punk hit a jumping bulldog and rolled Orton over for the 1........2......, but Orton was up. Punk knew he had the champ on the ropes, and he went for the Uranagi, but Orton blocked it with 2 elbows to the back of his head before going for the "RKO". But Punk pushed Orton to the ropes and drilled him with a jump kick to the head. This took Orton out of the ring, but when he got up, Orton ripped his belt away from the timekeeper and began to walk off, content with being counted out just like last week. But when Orton turned, he saw John Cena at the top of the stage. Orton decided to drop the belt and go back to the ring, where Punk kicked him in the ribs and then shot him to the ropes but Orton ducked a backhand and smashed Punk with a clothesline. Orton was too distracted by Cena's presence though, turning and giving him a long look. He went and grabbed Punk by the hair, pulling him back up. But Punk used a small package and just like that, he got the win!

Match Time: 12:13
