AT&T Center

San Antonio, Texas

December 11, 2009

Fans filed into the AT&T Center ready for some exciting action from the stars of PrimeTime. Many fans were talking amongst each other before the show about the incredible event that was TWF MeltDown and the consensus was that it was an all time great show.

Non-Title Match

Tag Team Champions: The United Nations w/ Katie Lea vs. The Sex Pistols (invitees)

Matt Grey and Chaz Lovely, two longtime competitors in the World of Wrestling organization in Texas (wowtexas.com) got their shot to shine against a team that seems to be getting increasingly better. Paul Burchill started the match off by just physically overpowering Grey and after a big jackhammer slam, he looked to already have the match won but Lovely made the save. Burchill tagged out to Rene Dupree who allowed Grey to make the tag. Lovely officially came into the match and Dupree was all over him. After a big powerslam, Burchill came into the ring and they whipped Lovely to the ropes before delivering a very innovative double team move. Dupree hit a spinebuster just as Burchill landed a kneedrop right across the throat. As the referee forced Burchill back to his corner, Dupree positioned himself behind Lovely, slapping on the cobra clutch when he got to his feet. Moments later, Lovely was out and the ref called for the bell, giving the victory to the Tag Team champs.

Finlay vs. Doink the Clown

Doink seemed no match for the Fighting Irishman for much of this match as Finlay beat him from one side of the ring to another. After a heavy clothesline, Finlay picked Doink up and hit a fireman's carry slam, covering him for a 2 count. Doink tried to retreat to the corner but Finlay followed, only to catch a finger to the eye. Doink then reached down and picked up Finlay's shillelagh, which he brought to the ring. But the referee was on top of it, taking it away. As this was going on, Finlay charged in but Doink moved out of the way and struck Finlay with a big low blow that the ref never saw. Doink then rolled up Finlay and had a handful of his singlet, getting the 3 count and a big upset.

Gregory Helms w/ Talia vs. Damion West

This was a very fast paced, exciting match that the fans were very much into. The match set the tone for the rest of the night. For nearly 10 minutes, Helms and West went hold for hold and move for move. Near falls were aplenty but Helms seemed to find the winning combination after delivering the "Eye of the Hurricane" out of nowhere. Before he could get the pinfall, West got his right foot on the bottom rope. Helms then went for the Shining Wizard but missed that and West got up, throwing the superkick. Helms was able to avoid it and catch West with a e superkick of his own. He then started up the turnbuckle from inside the ring but West got up and brought him to the mat with a backdrop suplex. With Helms down, all the lovely Talia could do was watch as West came off the top rope with a pretty 450 splash, landing right on Helms to get the win.

Michael Cole: "Off the heels of a tremendous event in TWF MeltDown, we start to wind down the year 2009 here on PrimeTime from San Antonio"!

Honky Tonk Man: "And if my sources are accurate, Michael, you're days in the TWF may be numbered! My New Year's wish may come true"!

BOOS FILTER IN AS "SOMEBODY's GONNA GET IT" STARTS UP AND THE BRAND NEW INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION MARK HENRY STROLLS OUT WITH THE TITLE DANGLING FROM HIS RIGHT HAND.

Cole: "Yeah, whatever. Folks, we're gonna start things off here with our new Intercontinental champion and some tag team action"!

HTM: "Well I knew the first time John Morrison defeated the World's Strongest Man that it was just a fluke and we saw that to be true at MeltDown..... a dominant win for Henry"!

KENNY DOANE's MUSIC PLAYS AND HE COMES OUT WITH SUPER CRAZY AND THE LIGHTHEAVYWEIGHT TITLE AROUND HIS WAIST. THEY DON'T SEEM TO HAVE TOO MANY FANS IN THE CROWD EITHER.

Cole: "Henry used that big bear hug of his to squeeze out all of the life inside John Morrison and credit to Morrison for even being able to compete here tonight. I thought he'd have a collapsed lung or some cracked ribs after being in that bear hug"!

JOHN MORRISON's THEME SONG STARTS UP AND CHEERS COME FROM ALL PARTS OF THE ARENA AS HE MAKES HIS WAY OUT ALONG WITH EVAN BOURNE.

HTM: "Look at all of that gold between Henry and Kenny Doane! Morrison and Bourne might get blinded coming out here"!

Cole: "Well we know John Morrison wants another crack at Henry but don't think Evan Bourne has forgotten about Kenny Doane and his Doane-ation...... both members of wait".

HTM: "Oh I suppose that was supposed to be a joke...... well it wasn't funny".

Mark Henry and Kenny Doane w/ Super Crazy vs. John Morrison and Evan Bourne

Morrison and Bourne made for a very good team here as they used fluid manuevers and frequent tags in and out to isolate Doane in the ring. Seeing the disadvantage they both had against Henry, Bourne and Morrison did everything they could to keep the big man out of it. After a flying knee to the jaw on Doane, Bourne ran the ropes when Super Crazy took a swipe at his foot. That slowed Bourne down but he used the middle ring rope to slide into Crazy with 2 feet to the face. He then ducked a clothesline from Doane who was lying in wait but when he went for a superkick, Doane caught his foot and pushed him into their corner, tagging in Henry. Henry came in and just dominated Bourne and at one point was just toying with him. After a gorilla press slam, Doane wanted the tag back in. Henry was hesitant but the Lightheavyweight champion convinced him to make the exchange. Doane came in and set Bourne up for the "Doane-ator" but Bourne shook free and connected with a Pele kick. Morrison then came in as Henry tried to get involved and he took the World's Strongest Man out with a flying roundhouse kick to the mouth. Bourne then went to the top rope and came crashing down with his amazing shooting star press onto Doane, covering him to get the 3 count!

CM Punk: "You gonna go cry about it........ get out of my face man.... I don't need your doubting of my injury right now".

Colt Cabana: "Doc, you're not buying this..... are you"?

THE TRAINER JUST SHRUGS HIS SHOULDERS AND CABANA TURNS AND LEAVES THE ROOM BEFORE THE SHOT FADES.

COMMERCIAL BREAK............

A COMMERCIAL FOR TARGET STORES IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY A PREVIEW FOR THE MOVIE "THE HANGOVER" NOW ON DVD.

RETURN FROM BREAK.... RINGSIDE....

Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Cruise (invitee)

It was the return of Drew McIntyre to the TWF, but few fans seemed to remember him at all. He was a different superstar this time around, punishing Randy Cruise, who took one heck of a beating. An agressive and very cocky McIntyre used his lanky frame and a polished in ring attack to take the fight to an overmatched opponent. After catching Cruise with a superb powerslam, McIntyre positioned himself and delivered a wicked double arm DDT, rolling Cruise over from that position to win the match.

Match Time: 3:39

Chris Jericho: "Look, Shane-O, I know you are prepared to name a new number one contender for the Universal title tonight and I think you know as well as anyone what I am capable of...... King of the Ring..... ring a bell"?

Shane McMahon: "Chris, I see what you're trying to do. You're right, I will be naming a new number one contender tonight, but I will not be bullied into my decision".

AT THAT MOMENT, MATT HARDY ENTERS THE OFFICE.

Matt Hardy: "Ohhhh, didn't realize you were busy, I'll just......

Shane McMahon: "Oh no.... not at all. See Chris here was just talking about how much he would like some action tonight. I see no better opponent for him..... then you".

JERICHO AND HARDY GIVE EACH OTHER A BRIEF STARE BEFORE JERICHO BLOWS PAST HIM AND LEAVES THE OFFICE.

Sylvester Terkay vs. Chris Masters

Two of the biggest names the TWF has had over the last couple of years were poised to do battle here and after each man failed to assert his dominance early, Masters resorted to poking the Manbear in the eye. He then shot him to the ropes but Terkay ducked the double sledge and took Masters down with an MMA style takedown. Both men then threw wild punches, Terkay from the top and Masters from the bottom. Referee Mike Enos was unable to pull the men apart and after several warnings, he just threw the match out. But the fight continued and after each man broke loose, they were trading blows again. Finally, officials came out from the back in mass to pull the two men apart, but they didn't have an easy time doing it.

Carney: "What do you want? We have a match tonight, so unless this is important, I'll see you in the ring".

Samaiel: "Yes, we do have a match. But I also know that you have not been anywhere near where you want to be here in the TWF. Carney.... you're an afterthought. But a guy like me, can change that...... for the right price".

Carney: "That's right, you're the guy who wants everyone to hire you, yet no one with a brain ever does".

CARNEY BRUSHES PAST SAMAIEL, WHO DOES NOT LOOK HAPPY.

Colt Cabana vs. Robbie McCallister w/ Rory McCallister

Cabana had the support of the crowd behind him but it was Robbie McCallister who got on the offensive early, catching Cabana with a back elbow in the mouth that split open his lip. McCallister then overpowered Cabana with a flurry of right hands before throwing him through the ropes to the floor. As Robbie pulled referee Charles Robinson away from the action, the other Highlander, Rory, smashed through Cabana with a clothesline right when he got to his feet. Robbie then left the ring and rolled Cabana back in. After getting a near fall following a backbreaker across his knee, Robbie decided to get Cabana up on the top rope, looking for a superplex. But as Robbie climbed up, Cabana fought back with 2 punches to the midsection followed by a headbutt that knocked McCallister to the mat. Cabana then got his footing and flew off with a terrific missile dropkick. He followed that up with a springboard moonsault and landed in a pinning position, getting 2 and a half from Robinson. But Cabana was in control and after pointing right at Rory as if to say "watch this", Cabana lifted McCallister up with a very innovative double underhook right into a Canadian Backbreaker, a move he calls the "Colt .45". Cabana made the cover and pinned McCallister.

Joe Corey: "All I know is the next person who gets in my way is gonna be sorry".

COREY STANDS UP AND PUSHES THE DOOR TO HIS DRESSING ROOM OPEN WILDLY. A LOUD THUD IS HEARD. COREY AND CASH LEAVE THE ROOM BUT A NEARBY CAMERA SHOWS KATIE LEA LYING ON THE FLOOR, HOLDING HER NOSE AND MOUTH AREA. IT APPEARS NEITHER COREY NOR CASH EVEN SAW HER.

Chris Jericho vs. Matt Hardy

Two men who may be looking to position themself for the number one contender's position met here in a very fast paced match. Following a great series of offense by both men to start the match, Jericho went for an enziguri and Hardy ducked. Matt then snatched Jericho around the head and under his shoulder and deliver the Side Effect. From there, he went to the middle turnbuckle, flying off with a legdrop that he landed with perfection. Matt went for a cover but referee Marty Elias could only get a 2 count before Jericho got his right shoulder off the mat. Hardy pulled him up, calling for the "Twist of Fate" but when he tried to kick Jericho in the midsection, he had his foot caught and Jericho pushed him backwards before connecting with a jumping enziguri that knocked Hardy to the mat. Jericho then hit the Lionsault and it appeared to be over but Hardy pushed him off at the last possible second. Jericho pulled Hardy up and went for an irish whip to the corner but Matt reversed it and shot Jericho in, following with a stiff clothesline. He then corraled Jericho in, looking for a running bulldog but Jericho was able to toss Hardy across the ring when he went for the move. Right when Hardy got up, Jericho found the mark with the "Codebreaker" and covered him for the 3 count.

Match Time: 4:02

COMMERCIAL BREAK.......

A COMMERCIAL FOR GARMIN IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY A PREVIEW FOR "THE BOOK OF ELI" IN THEATERS JANUARY 15TH.

RETURN FROM BREAK.... BACKSTAGE......

AS PRIMETIME RETURNS FROM BREAK, LENA YADA IS STANDING BY WITH JOHN CENA.

Lena Yada: "John, at MeltDown, we saw you lose a surprising decision to Kevin Thorn. How will you recover from that loss"?

John Cena: "The same way I've faced adversity my entire life, Lena. Yes, Kevin Thorn got the best of me at MeltDown. But if you think I'm gonna whine about it or complain about it, you're wrong. See the one thing about me that should be abundantly clear by this point is that anytime I am down, I am never out. From this point forward, that will become more clear than ever before. Thorn..... you were the better man at MeltDown. But next time..... and I say this to any man on a TWF roster....... next time you'll face a different John Cena".

CENA WALKS AWAY AS THE SHOT IS SENT BACK TO THE RING.

Samaiel vs. Carney

Earlier in the evening, Samaiel attempted to pitch his "services" to Carney, but the longtime TWF superstar would have none of it. But Samaiel came out the aggressor in this match, seemingly fueled by Carney's earlier rejection. After a big clothesline turned Carney inside out, Samaiel scooped him up and stuck him on the turnbuckle in the dreaded 'tree of woe' position. He then charged in with a sliding dropkick but Carney showed great upper body strength by lifting himself up to avoid any contact. He then caught Samaiel with a corkscrew attack off the top rope followed by a running senton bomb which drew a 2 count when he went for the cover. Both men got to their feet and Carney went for the "C-Drive" but Samaiel slipped free of the attempt and got Carney up onto his shoulders. When he spun him around, the foot of Carney struck referee Charles Robinson in the head, knocking him to the mat momentarily. The brief moment with no referee allowed Samaiel to kick Carney in the groin after letting him off his shoulders and that led to the "Hell's Hammer" and a win for the sadistic Samaiel.

Match Time: 5:28

BACKSTAGE..... SHANE McMAHON's OFFICE.....

SHANE McMAHON IS SHOWN IN HIS OFFICE ON THE PHONE. CAMERAS PICK UP PART OF HIS CONVERSATION.

Shane McMahon: "Like I said, I am still taking everything into consideration in regards to a new number one contender but as of right now, I haven't made a decision".

THE SHOT THEN GOES BACK TO THE RING.

John Cena vs. Vladimir Kozlov

Cena exploded offensively when this match started and he threatened to put the Moscow Mauler away early after delivering his spinning side suplex. But when he went for the 5 Knuckle Shuffle, Kozlov got up and drove a headbutt into his chest. Cena had to roll out of the ring to regroup but Kozlov followed him out there and was all over him. After whipping Cena into the steel ring steps, Kozlov picked him up onto his shoulders and drove him head first into the ring post. After rolling Cena back into the ring, Kozlov came back in and he was just dominating Cena. After a huge elbow drop, Kozlov whipped Cena to the ropes before grabbing him in a big bear hug. Some of the crowd tried to rally around Cena as the big Russian squeezed with all the power he had. Finally, Cena used a big ear clap to gain some seperation. He then ran the ropes and ducked a clothesline before hitting a flying shoulder block. Kozlov got up and Cena grabbed him, trying to get him up for the "F-U", but Kozlov avoided it with a shot to the back of the head. Kozlov then ran at Cena but after countering with a drop toehold, Cena locked in the STF. Kozlov was in trouble and looked close to tapping out but he showed a lot of heart by working his way out of the tough situation and getting to the ring ropes. But after being informed by Robinson that he needed to allow for a break, a rage fell over Cena and a look we've never seen before was on his face. Kozlov got up and Cena went right after him, getting him up for the F-U and delivering it with authority to get the pinfall and the win.

Cole: "We are back live on PrimeTime and we've seen this for quite some time now but from what I understand, Blade is out here to call out Nails again"?

HTM: "He sure is1 I talked to Blade earlier today and it is his goal to break Nails' will and rid the TWF of him forever".

Cole: "Well we have seen in the last few weeks that he has Nails' number, to say the least".

Blade: "Okay, Nails, you know the drill. These people have seen me beat the so called Hardcore Icon all over the place lately, every chance I've gotten! Tonight is no different. So you can bring that stupid hockey mask and hell, even a fire poker if you want to because tonight, I'm takin' ya out for good"!

THE CROWD BOOS AND SEVERAL MOMENTS PASS BY UNTIL "LEFT BEHIND" BY SLIPKNOT COMES ON.

HTM: "Well, for a second I thought Nails had learned his lesson and had enough of Blade..... guess not".

BUT THE MAN WHO STEPPED OUT FROM THE BACK WAS NOT NAILS. INSTEAD, IT WAS SOMEONE TWF FANS HADN'T SEEN IN YEARS.

Cole: "Wait a minute! Do you know who that is?!!!! That's...... Wally Willson"!

Wally Willson: "Ah..... Blade..... you are a pretty confident young man, aren't ya? Too bad your confidence has been built under false pretenses. Do you really think you can beat Nails as easily as you've been able to do thus far? Do you really have that much confidence in yourself? Well, kid, I hate to burst your bubble, but Nails has been away...... he's been collecting his thoughts and preparing himself mentally for what is left of his professional career. Those men you have beat up over the last few weeks..... were just imposters. You haven't faced the real Nails yet".

HTM: "What"?!

Wally Willson: "But I can assure you that Nails wants to meet you now. He will be back and now........ so am I"!

"LEFT BEHIND" HITS AGAIN AND WILLSON STANDS AT THE TOP OF THE STAGE, LAUGHING AS HE LOOKS ON AT BLADE.

Cole: "I don't know what to say. Just when you think you have everything figured out, someone throws you a curveball like that".

HTM: "Don't let this discourage you, Blade. Just go about it the same way you did the last time you took out a guy wearing a hockey mask! It may not have been Nails, but eventually, it will be"!

BACKSTAGE.........

JOHN CENA IS WALKING THROUGH THE BACK, WIPING THE SWEAT AWAY AFTER HIS HARD FOUGHT MATCH WHEN HE RUNS INTO SHANE THOMPSON.

Shane Thompson: "Nice little speech back there. I just wish you would've told people watching the truth".

John Cena: "What are you talking about, the truth"?

Shane Thompson: "Face it Cena, you're not cut out to do this, you never were. You came in here and the crowd caught on and this company tried to make you into the next Hulk Hogan or the next Ric Flair. Guess what..... you're not? I can wrestle circles around you. You're a one hit wonder. Go make movies or something like that, save the...........

John Cena: "Okay, I'm not sure why you're coming at me with this right now, but I'm warning you, I don't want.......

Shane Thompson: "You don't want to what, Cena? You don't want to show off your........

McMAHON STARTS TO DISCUSS A NEW NUMBER ONE CONTENDER WHEN THE REQUIEM INTERRUPTS, COMING OUT AS A GROUP. ARIEL HAS A MICROPHONE IN HAND AS KEVIN THORN, GANGREL AND DRUSUS STAND BEHIND HER.

Ariel: "Shane, I know you've said you've explored your options for a new number one contender, but the real man you should be looking at is with me right now...... Kevin Thorn".

Shane McMahon: "Now just hold everything here, I said I wasn't gonna be bullied into making a decision here and I'm......

Ariel: "Shall we ask the champion himself? How 'bout it, Jordan? How 'bout you give The Requiem a shot at that title? Shane, you can name the time and the place....... we'll be there".

Jordan Rockwell: "I've got no problem defending my title against that blood sucking freak back there. Thorn.... you think you deserve the next shot at this, (pats the title on his shoulder) then you've got it"!

Shane McMahon: "Okay, then I'll make it official. At a time and place to be determined, Jordan Rockwell will defend the Universal title against Kevin Thorn"!

Cole: "Oh my"!

RETURN FROM BREAK...... RINGSIDE........

The Undertaker and Chaos Wolf vs. "The Show" Joe Corey and PJ Cash

Following the announcement of a new #1 contender, it was now time for the tag team main event, and it didn't last long. Right off the bat, all 4 men got into the ring going at it. After taking Chaos Wolf out momentarily, Corey and Cash combined to try and take down the deadman. But after fighting off Cash, Undertaker had Corey in a familiar position, by the throat. He picked him up to chokeslam him but Cash recovered and used a chop block on the Undertaker's right knee to prevent the move. But Cash didn't see Chaos Wolf get back into the ring behind him and he turned right into a stiff forearm from the man he defeated at MeltDown. Wolf then put Cash down with a variation of his own move, the "Cash Register". Wolf got up and had some words for Cash but he took his eye off the ball a little too long and when he turned around, Corey was waiting with a kick to the abdomen which he followed up with the "Showstopper". Corey then covered Wolf, hooking the outside leg to get the 3 count.
