The stars of PrimeTime continued their east coast swing with a show from the famed Bob Carpenter Center.
Cody Rhodes vs. Evan Bourne The former Intercontinental champion Bourne came into the match employing several leg kicks, almost like an MMA fighter. Rhodes ate several of those but was able to change the complexion of the match after faking an injury to his eye. As the referee backed Bourne off, Rhodes attacked from behind and then set Bourne up for an Alabama Slam. Bourne tried to get up, but walked right into "Cross Rhodes" and that ended it in just over 3 minutes.
PRIMETIME GOES LIVE
THE ARENA COMES INTO THE SHOT, DARK WITH JUST A SPOTLIGHT IN THE RING ILLUMINATING THE PRIMETIME LOGO ON THE MAT. MICHAEL COLE AND JBL ARE SHOWN AT THE BROADCAST POSITION.
Michael Cole: "Hello everyone and welcome to TWF PrimeTime... we thank you for joining us tonight on the TWF Network."
JBL: "Thousands of TWF Network subscriptions are being given out every day, Michael, something we're doing is working."
Cole: "Well there is a power struggle here in the TWF between two of the biggest names in the industry over just who deserves credit for what and there will be more on that later tonight."
JBL: "Not only that, but look at that steel cage hanging above the ring! Mark Henry and Nails are gonna climb in there tonight!"
JUSTIN GABRIEL's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT TO A MIXED RESPONSE.
Cole: "That match will take place here tonight but what a way to start things out tonight. We can assume that based on the actions of M.X. Ogden and this new group called The Shield, that Justin Gabriel is no longer aligned with Ogden."
JBL: "Well they've sure got me seated next to a rocket scientist tonight! What was your first clue, Michael, aside from the fact that those two are facing each other here tonight?"
"CAPRICORN" BY 30 SECONDS TO MARS COMES ON AND M.X. OGDEN COMES OUT TO SOME HEAVY BOOS. AJ LEE TRAILS HIM WITH A VIBRANT SMILE ON HIS FACE. OGDEN RAISES BOTH ARMS AS HE LOOKS INTO THE CROWD BEFORE POINTING TO THE INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE AROUND HIS WAIST WITH BOTH FINGERS.
Cole: "I spoke with Justin Gabriel when I got to the arena here tonight and he is very excited for this match. He told me that even though he was part of Rising United, he always wanted to test himself against Ogden."
JBL: "And here's his chance to do that. But he better be prepared to face a man who I am quickly believing may be the greatest Intercontinental champion in TWF history, Michael."
Non-Title Match Justin Gabriel vs. Intercontinental Champion: M.X. Ogden w/ AJ Lee This was a good shot for Justin Gabriel to get into the title hunt. He started the match with a high flying pace, as Gabriel kept Ogden down with a load of quick strikes. It looked like he was going to finish the match early as he knocked out Odgen with an amazing missle dropkick from the top rope, going in for the quick cover but only getting a 2 count. As Gabriel picked Odgen to his feet, Odgen reversed his body slam attempt into an amazing reverse DDT. Odgen then climbed to the top rope and missed with an elbow drop. Looking to quickly capitalize, Gabriel went to the same turnbuckle and hit the 450 splash! Shockingly, he only got a 2 count before Ogden got a shoulder up! AJ Lee got up on the apron and into Justin’s face as Odgen started to quarrel. After getting his footing, he kicked Gabriel right in the back of the head. From there, he lifted him up and delivered the "Memory Maker". But the champion didn't stop there. He got Gabriel up for a second one, just to make sure he was out for the count, and he quickly covered him for the 1..2...3. >
Match Time 5:31
"CAPRICORN" PLAYED AGAIN AS AJ GOT INTO THE RING WITH THE TITLE BELT, HANDING IT TO HER MAN BEFORE RAISING HIS HAND IN VICTORY. Cole: "Justin Gabriel gave Ogden a strong run for his money tonight, but it falls just a little bit short." JBL: "Are you gonna give credit where it's due, Michael? M.X. Ogden kicked out of the 450 splash. I don't think we've ever seen anyone do that! This guy is great!" Cole: "Hopefully, we can get a work with Ogden later this evening in order to find out more about this mysterious group known as The Shield." BACKSTAGE AREA.... TRAVIS WAKEMAN IS SHOWN ARRIVING AT THE ARENA. HE SHAKES HANDS WITH SOME OF THE STAGE HANDS WHILE "RAP SUPERSTAR" PLAYS FOR THE TV AUDIENCE. COMMERCIAL BREAK..... A COMMERCIAL FROM THE TWF NETWORK's FIRST ADVERTISING PARTNER, CANADA DRY, IS SHOWN. THAT IS FOLLOWED BY THE FIRST OFFICIAL PROMO FOR THE NEXT PAY-PER-VIEW EVENT, THE 2013 ROYAL RUMBLE. TWF RE-WIND THE RE-WIND TAKES US TO THE LAST EPISODE OF PRIMETIME, WHERE PJ CASH ASKED FOR A MATCH WITH TATANKA. PJ Cash vs. Tatanka Cash and Tatanka circled each other and locked up in a collar and elbow tie up. Tatanka then hooked Cash's arm and flipped him with an arm drag takedown. The Native American then picked up Cash and irish whipped him into a corner and followed it up with a running clothesline. Tatanka then began to lay into Cash with repeated knife edge chops. After 4 in a row, Cash rocked the veteran with an elbow smash to the side of the head, to buy himself some breathing room. Cash then irish whipped his opponent into the ropes and hit an amazing spin kick that dropped Tatanka hard to the mat. Cash then positioned Tatanka in a front face lock and hit a quick snap-suplex and left him prone in the ring. Cash then made his way to a corner and climbed to the top. He leapt off the top and hit a highlight worthy flying splash on Tatanka! He hooked the leg and the ref counted 1...2... but at the last possible moment, Tatanka got a shoulder up. Frustrated, Cash slapped the mat in anger. Cash picked up the weary warrior and whipped him into the ropes and attempted a clothesline, but missed. Tatanka ducked and came off the ropes and leapt into the air and nailed a flying tomahawk chop to the forehead of Cash that knocked him down. Both competitors were down. Cash was holding his head, while Tatanka was gasping for air, his age possibly catching up with him. They both made it to their feet as Tatanka started laying into Cash with more knife edge chops. He took his turn whipping Cash into the ropes and hit the younger man with a pretty impressive powerslam. Tatanka got the already rocking crowd going by letting out a Native America war cry. He then put Cash into position for the "Trail's End", but Cash pushed off and nailed Tatanka with a super kick that could be heard crisply in the cheap seats, causing a collective "Ooooh" from the crowd. After a few moments, possibly too long, Cash finally put a seemingly out-of-it Tatanka into position for the "Cash Register", but the surprisingly resilient Tatanka dropped to his knees, maneuvered around to Cash's back and rolled him up with a schoolboy to get a very surprising 1..2...3 and scored the win!
Match time 9:10
JBL: "You gotta be kidding me!" Cole: "Tatanka has proven that the WrestleMania win over PJ Cash wasn't a fluke... he's done it again!" TATANKA's MUSIC PLAYED AS HE STOOD IN THE RING, PERFORMING AN ATLANTA BRAVES-STYLE TOMAHAWK CHOP, GETTING MOST OF THE CROWD TO JOIN IN. JBL: "You talk about down on your luck. PJ Cash has lost his fortune, he's lost the respect he had in the locker room and now, he's lost to a 51-year old, part-time wrestler. How can it get any worse?" BACKSTAGE... Cameras are following "The Show" Joe Corey as he walks into the door to Travis Wakeman's office. Wakeman is seen on his cell phone and has a very puzzled look on his face when he turns and sees Corey.
Travis Wakeman: "Hey, I'm gonna to have to call you back. Something unexpected just came up and I need to deal with it. Thanks, talk to you soon.
Wakeman hangs up his call
Look, I know why you are here and you don't need to waste your breath. You lost the Best of Five series to John Cena fair and square. There are other people who have been waiting for a shot at the Universal Championship and there is no way I am going to let you...
Joe Corey: "Let me stop you right there, Travis. I am not here to beg and plead with you for anything. We both know that is going to get both of us no where. You know where my loyalties lie in this thing with you and Mike, so let's not fool ourselves. The reason I am here is because I am going to give you the courtesy of knowing that I am going over your head".
Travis Wakeman: "Over my head? What the hell are you talking about"?
Corey: "I am talking about the fact that I don't need you to get what I want. Rather than dealing with you, I have an appointment coming up. More importantly, I have a meeting with the Board of Directors and if everything goes according to plan, you will know everything you need to know next week. Have a good weekend... boss".
Corey leaves the office as Wakeman has an even more puzzling look on his face then he did before. "THE TIME IS NOW" COMES ON AND JOHN CENA HEADS TO THE RING TO A VERY MIXED RESPONSE. HE HAS THE TWF UNIVERSAL TITLE IN HIS RIGHT HAND. Cole: "What the heck was that about?" JBL: "No idea, but for some reason, Joe Corey has secured a meeting with the Board of Directors. I can't imagine that they are just going to hand him another title shot." John Cena: "Whew.... it feels good to be here tonight. I just wanted to come out here and say that despite the fact that I don't like the guy, I've got crazy respect for Joe Corey now that the best of five series is over. I won the thing three to one, but it easily could have been the other way around. So I just have to say this, cause I just heard about your meeting, but... CENA IS INTERRUPTED BY THE SOUND OF "LOSE YOURSELF" BY EMINEM. CARNEY COMES OUT FROM THE BACK IN STREET CLOTHES. HE HAS A MICROPHONE IN HAND AND IS CLAPPING AS HE APPROACHES THE RING. Carney: "Bravo... bravo, John. I am so happy that you won the best of five series... and I mean that with the most sarcasm possible. The bad thing is, I would have felt the same way had Corey won. Have you noticed something, John? Have you noticed that despite the fact that PrimeTime is definitely the best wrestling show in the world, there's a strange pattern of just a few guys always holding that belt." CARNEY POINTS TO THE UNIVERSAL TITLE IN CENA's HAND AND WHEN CENA DROPS HIS HEAD TO LOOK AT IT, HE CRACKS HIM WITH THE MICROPHONE. Cole: "Oh look out... Carney just nailed the champ!" JBL: "He's all over him, Michael... look at this!" AS CARNEY PUT THE BOOTS TO CENA, GUNDAM CAME OUT FROM THE BACK. AFTER EXCHANGING A LOOK WITH CARNEY, HE JOINED IN ON THE ATTACK. THE TWO MEN WERE ALL OVER CENA UNTIL FROM THE BACK CAME JORDAN ROCKWELL, WIELDING A STEEL CHAIR. GUNDAM AND CARNEY GOT OUT OF THE RING BEFORE ROCKWELL COULD DO ANYTHING WITH IT. Cole: "This odd pairing of Carney and Gundam has left the champion lying in the ring!" JBL: "Things are getting interesting around here, Michael. But I can't disagree with the point that Carney made." ROCKWELLL CHECKS ON CENA AS THE SHOT FADES OUT. COMMERCIAL BREAK..... ANOTHER COMMERCIAL FOR CANADA DRY GINGER ALE IS SHOWN. RETURN FROM BREAK... BACKSTAGE... AS PRIMETIME RETURNS, BACKSTAGE CORRESPONDENT LAUREN GARDNER IS WITH TATANKA, STILL SHOWING THE EFFECTS OF HIS EARLIER MATCH, BUT HE LOOKS HAPPY. Lauren Gardner: "Tatanka, thank you for taking the time to talk to me tonight. So, you showed up and accepted the challenge of PJ Cash, defeating him once again. This begs the question, is there any chance we could see you make a full-time return to the ring?" Tatanka: "Well Lauren, I still love to do this and I always will. But I also realize it's not 1994. I'd love to compete as often as possible, but I have to be realistic about it too." AT THAT MOMENT, PJ CASH WALKS UP AND LOCKS EYES WITH TATANKA. AFTER A FEW SECONDS, HE JUST DROPS HIS HEAD AND WALKS BY, LEAVING TATANKA AND GARDNER SPEECHLESS. Non-Title Match Sin Cara and Ultimo Dragon vs. Tag Team Champions: Kings of Wrestling In a battle of contrasting styles, current Lightheavyweight champion Ultimo Dragon squared off with Claudio Castagnoli. Ultimo took it to the big man early, connecting with a series of kicks to the leg. Castagnoli responded in anger, lunging at Dragon. Castagnoli was none too pleased to find Sin Cara, who hit him with a jumping roundhouse to the head via the ring apron! Ultimo followed up by running at and jumping off of the middle ring rope, thus coming back with an Asai Moonsault for the 1..2... No, Chris Hero entered the ring to break it up. Hero attempted to take the fight to Ultimo, but Sin Cara instantly hit the ring. Cara and Dragon proceeded to blast Castagnoli and Hero with stereo enzugiri's, sending both men to the outside of the ring. The crowd was going insane as Cara ran the ring ropes for a Suicide Dive! Just as he did so, Ultimo Dragon came off with another Asai Moonsault! The duo proceeded to lift up and roll Castagnoli into the ring. With the crowd going wild, Sin Cara hit the top rope. With the cameras flashing, Cara came off of the top rope for a Senton Bomb on Castagnoli. Dragon jumped into the cover for the 1...2... Castagnoli kicked out! The fans couldn't believe it as the two international stars fell short of achieving victory. Sin Cara wasted no time in heading right back up to the top rope, though, as he pointed down at Castagnoli once again. Just as Sin Cara swooped in off of the top turnbuckle, Chris Hero came out of nowhere, crushing him with a discus elbow smash in mid-air! Ultimo Dragon ran over to break up the action, but Hero ducked a clothesline and dropped Dragon with the "Hero's Welcome"! The crowd went silent as Hero climbed into a cover for the 1...2...3. Match Time: 3:57 BACKSTAGE.... TRAVIS WAKEMAN IS SHOWN TALKING WITH TRISH WHEN KEN DOLL COMES UP. Ken Doll: "Excuse me for interrupting Mr. Wakeman, but I have a request for you. First of all, how are the both of you doing tonight?" Trish Stratus (quizzically): "We're fine?" Travis Wakeman: "Wait a minute, who are you?" Ken Doll: "Who am I? Are you serious?" Travis Wakeman: "No, I know who you are, I just still can't believe we have people running around here emulating Ken and Barbie." Ken Doll: "Fine, let me just get to what I came here for before I lose my cool. Zack Ryder has been runnin' around telling all his Twitter followers how he beat me and it was nothing but a damn fluke! I want him in the ring again... tonight!" Trish: "Wow, when did Ken become so pushy? I always thought he was supposed to be a perfect gentleman." Travis Wakeman: "Tell ya what. You've got the match, but should you lose, again... Lacey will be forced to (Wakeman glances over at Trish) never mind... you better go get ready." THE SHOT GOES BACK TO THE RING WHICH THE STEEL CAGE NOW ENCOMPASSES. "SOMEBODY's GONNA GET IT" BY THREE SIX MAFIA COMES ON AND MARK HENRY MAKES HIS WAY TO THE RING. Cole: "Ladies and gentlemen, we are about ready for this colossal steel cage match here but before we get to that, we have been told that a huge tag team main event has been made for later tonight. Jordan Rockwell will team with John Cena to face the team of Carney and Gundam!" JBL: "Plus we've got a rematch between Ken Doll and Zack Ryder. I really wanted to hear Mr. Wakeman finish that sentence regarding Lacey Von Erich." Cole: "Although this show is not rated PG, there still may be some kids watching so it might be best we didn't." JBL: "My guess is it would have made the Texas Tornado turn over in his grave." "LEFT BEHIND" BY SLIPKNOT HITS AND NAILS SLOWLY MAKES HIS WAY OUT FROM THE BACK, RECEIVING A HUGE CHEER FROM THE CROWD. Cole: "It was on the last edition of PrimeTime that these two men faced off with Mark Henry getting a hard fought, count-out victory." JBL: "There won't be a count-out tonight, Michael. It's the Hardcore Icon against the world's strongest man inside fifteen feet of solid steel." Steel Cage Match Mark Henry vs. Nails The bell rang and neither man wasted any time, as both men stepped into the middle of the ring and began throwing bombs. Finally, after several shots, Mark Henry managed to get the upperhand, wailing on Nails, driving him into the corner. He belted him with shot after heavy shot, pummeling him to a sitting position. Henry took a few
steps back before charging forward and driving his boot right into the
the face of Nails. Henry gave a powerful roar before picking Nails up
from the corner. It looked as if he was going for an Irish Whip, but
instead, he pulled Nails back in, laying him out with a nasty
clothesline. Henry thought Nails was done, as he turned around, and
walked towards the cage door, motioning for the ref to open the door.
Nails wasn't out of it yet, however, as while the ref was busy undoing
the lock, Nails had managed to make it back to his feet before hitting
Henry with a chop block he never saw coming. This time, it was Nails'
turn to inflict some punishment. He dropped axe handle after axe handle
on Henry's back. Henry began to get back to his feet, but Nails caught
him with a huge haymaker to the ribs, causing The World's Strongest Man
back down to one knee. Nails quickly ran in before nailing
Henry with a vicious diving clothesline. Nails quickly tried to take
advantage of the situation, jumping onto the cell and beginning his
climb to the top. After he got about half-way up the cage, however,
Henry was back up. Nails, wanting to avoid Henry catching him in a bad
situation, actually jumped off the cage wall, going for a high
elevation axe handle. Henry, however, actually managed to catch Nails
in mid-air! Henry then had Nails in a very tight bear hug. Nails was
fighting tooth and nail, however, punching Henry in the head, the back,
and any other part of Henry he could reach. This only seemed to anger
Henry, however, and Henry ran forward, slamming Nails hard into the
cage. Nails still continued to take shots at Henry, shots that were
obviously beginning to take their toll on the giant, as small droplets
of blood could be seen forming on Henry's forehead. Perhaps the sight
of his own blood enraged Henry, as he gave a loud yell, and began to
repeatedly slam Nails into the wall, each time, Nails' head jerked
back violently. After about the 5th or 6th time getting slammed into
the cage, Nail's had gone limp. Henry threw him down to the mat
hard before falling to his knees. He shook his head, trying to shake
loose the cobwebs, and felt his forehead. A steady amount of blood was
flowing from a cut obviously left behind from the several shots Nails
landed while in the bearhug. Slowly, Henry got to his feet. Nails was
motionless and Henry could have easily exited the cage via the door,
but for whatever reason, the big man decided to try and scale the cage
wall! Very slowly, Henry began to climb. However, he only got as far
as the top rope before getting somewhat stuck. The rope swayed wildly
under Henry's weight, and it was all Henry could do to keep from
falling. While Henry struggled, Nails had caught his breath. He got
to one knee, and seeing Henry attempting to climb the cage, he lunged
forward, landing on the top rope, causing Henry to fall and rack
himself up on the top rope, causing the audience to give a
collective "Oooh!" Henry slumped sideways, landing hard on the mat as
Nails slid back down as well. Both men were down now, and it was
anyone's match. Nails was first to his feet, followed closely by
Henry. Both tired, the two men once again began throwing huge shots at
one another. Each punch nearly took the other man off their feet, but
in the end, it was Nails this time that had the advantage. He nailed
Henry with shot after shot, finally forcing the big man against the
cage wall. From there, he took a few steps back, seemingly taunting
Henry to come get him. Henry quickly shook his head before charging at
Nails. Nails was ready for it, though, and sidestepped, using Henry's
momentum to send him head first into the cage! Nails sensed that the
time for escape was now, as he walked over to the door. He motioned
for the Ref to open the door, but the Ref appeared to be having trouble
opening the lock. Frustrated, Nails went through the ropes, and began
pulling at the chain. While Nails and the referee struggled with the
door, Henry had gotten back to his feet. Nails turned around just in time
to see Henry charging right at him! Nails, caught between the ropes
and the cage, had nowhere to go. In a moment that drew a huge gasp from
the crowd, Henry crashed into Nails with a vicious spear so powerful,
it actually ripped the cage door from it's hinges! With a sickening
thud, Nails landed hard on the floor outside the ring as the cage door
loosely hung to the cage by the lock and chain. Henry looked outraged
as the ref had no choice but to ring the bell and award the match to
Nails!
Match Time: 11:26
Cole: "Oh my God! Have you ever in your life..... JBL: "This is crazy, Michael... listen to this place!" THE CROWD HAD LOST IT, SHOCKED BY WHAT HAD JUST TRANSPIRED AS "LEFT BEHIND" BEGAN TO PLAY AGAIN. SLOWLY, NAILS GOT TO HIS FEET AND WALKED OFF WITH ONE OF THE TOUGHEST WINS OF HIS CAREER. Cole: "Nails may have a broken back to go along with that win!" JBL: "Mark Henry drove him through the cage! That is incredible!" Cole: "Don't go anywhere... we'll be right back." COMMERCIAL BREAK... ANOTHER PROMO FOR THE 2013 ROYAL RUMBLE IS RUN. RETURN FROM BREAK.... RINGSIDE... PRIMETIME RETURNS TO THE SOUND OF "HALLELUJAH" AND DAMIEN SANDOW IS IN THE RING WITH A MICROPHONE. HIS OPPONENT, FRANKIE KAZARIAN STANDS OUTSIDE THE RING, WAITING. Damien Sandow: "Though I face a clearly inferior opponent tonight, this man you see before me is still not as bad as Chaos Wolf. No, this man brushes his teeth more than once a week and has never seen a single episode of internet pornography. Parents, if you are watching tonight, I beg of you... rear your children to be far different than that human cesspool Chaos Wolf... you're welcome!" Cole: "I still don't get it... what is this guy's deal with Chaos Wolf?" JBL: "Oh come on, Michael.. have you ever spent five minutes with the man? His name is Chaos Wolf, so there's a hint!" Damien Sandow vs. Frankie Kazarian With the crowd continuing to taunt him, Damien Sandow took no prisoners as he screamed right back at those in attendance. After nearly a full minute of arguing, Sandow and Kazarian finally locked up. Sandow dropped Kazarian with an arm drag, and then posed to the crowd as he received loud boos once again. Kazarian jumped to his feet, thus leading to he and Sandow locking up again. This time, Kazarian sent Sandow to the ropes and then back dropped him down hard followed by a dropkick. That caused Sandow to roll out of the ring to catch his bearings. Sandow came back in and they locked up again, which led to the scholar taking Kazarian to the turnbuckle and crushing him with a knife edge chop. Just as he took full control, however, a voice was heard. The crowd eruped as Chaos Wolf appeared on the TWF Tron.
Chaos Wolf: "Sandow! Hey, Sandow! I'm talking to you, Mr. Scholar. I know you're busy doing what you claim to be the best at, but I just thought I'd remind you of just how much of a fraud you truly are".
Sandow began screaming at Wolf, berating him and telling him to get off of the tron. As Wolf continued his diatribe, Kazarian sneaked up from behind and caught Sandow with a school boy for the 1..2..3! Match Time: 3:00 JBL: "No way! You can't be serious!" Cole: "Chaos Wolf has finally decided to respond to Sandow and it's cost him a big mark in the loss column!" KAZARIAN LEFT THE RING, KNOWING HE'D PULL OFF A BIG UPSET AS THE CROWD CHEERED AND CELEBRATED WITH HIM. IN THE RING, AN IRATE SANDOW POINTED TO WOLF, WHO WAS JUST LAUGHING BEFORE THE VIDEO WALL WENT OUT. JBL: "Chaos Wolf is gonna pay for that! That was ridiculous!" BACKSTAGE... As we head to the back, we find Lauren Gardner standing by with M.X. Ogden and AJ Lee. Ogden has his Intercontinental Championship strapped over his shoulder as Gardner holds a microphone in her hand.
Lauren Gardner: "Ladies and gentlemen, with me now is none other than TWF Intercontinental Champion M.X. Ogden, victorious earlier tonight against his former ally Justin Gabriel. Now, M.X., last week you made waves when you turned on your own faction, Rising United. Not only did you stab them in the back, but you had them attacked by The Shield. The question on everyone's mind is, why?"
M.X. Ogden: "Since I entered the TWF, I've been the Golden Standard. I worked my way up to the main roster by winning the SMW Championship and holding it longer than anyone in the history of the developmental territory. From there, I won the 2005 King of the Ring tournament as a rookie. I followed that up by winning the King of Cable Title and eventually I carried Alex Shelley to two reigns as the Rampage Tag Team Champions.
Ogden pauses for a moment and looks at the gold strapped over his shoulder.
I even tricked these dumb bastards into thinking I was some masked man named Jaden Core. For those that don't remember, I won the 2009 Rookie of the Year award.
Ogden and AJ Lee laugh in reflection of M.X.'s devious act.
Today, I am the greatest Intercontinental Champion in TWF history. I've defeated every opponent that stood in my way, including Chris Jericho and the joke named Kofi Kingston. So you tell me, Lauren.. Why would I let some under-achieving pieces of trash drag me down?"
Lauren Gardner: "Loyalty?"
M.X. Ogden: "Loyalty? Are you kidding me, Lauren? I gave those idiots every opportunity to shine. Every turn was a new chance for them to rise up and truly embrace the name Rising United. Instead, they allowed each chance I gave them to slip through their fingertips. Well, sorry Lauren, but loyalty is a two way street. If you break my trust, I break your dreams."
Lauren Gardner: "So is that why you brought in The Shield? To take out Rising United?"
M.X. Ogden: "If I just wanted to take them out, I would have done it myself. I wanted to send a message to the entire TWF, Lauren, one that tells the world just how great of a leader I am. I led The Hart Dynasty, I led Eye Spy, I led Rising United and now.. Now, I will guide The Shield to the promise land. I will make Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns the stars that they deserve to be."
Lauren Gardner: "Well what's in it for you?"
M.X. Ogden: "For me?
Ogden smiles and looks back at AJ. He then looks right into the camera.
You'll find that out very soon."
BACK IN THE RING, ZACK RYDER IS "FIST PUMPING" WITH THE CROWD IN ANTICIPATION OF THE EXTRAVAGANT ENTRANCE OF HIS OPPONENT. "BARBIE GIRL" BY AQUA HITS AND A PINK CORVETTE WITH CALIFORNIA LICENSE PLATES ROLLS OUT ONTO THE STAGE. MOST FANS ARE BOOING, BUT SOME CAN'T HELP BUT GET INTO THE UNIQUE SCENE AS KEN DOLL AND LACEY VON ERICH STEP OUT OF THE CAR AND HEAD TO THE RING. DOLL IS CARRYING A TENNIS RACKET WITH HIM. Cole: "Some very strong words there from the TWF Intercontinental champion and JBL, this Shield... these guys are extremely dangerous." JBL: "You don't even have to tell me that, Michael... those three men are clearly out of control and with M.X. Ogden, they could overtake everything... I truly mean that." Cole: "Here we have a rematch from our last edition of PrimeTime in which Zack Ryder pulled off what Ken Doll said was a fluke victory." JBL: "Doll was given this match by Travis Wakeman so he better not disappoint." Ken Doll w/ Lacey Von Erich vs. Zack Ryder In what can only be described as a brawl, the match began with Zack Ryder taking Ken Doll down with a flying forearm. Ryder stayed on the offensive, following it up with a
few knees to the side before pulling him up to his feet and whipping
him across the ring, thus laying him out with a back body drop. Ryder
continued by going for an elbow drop, but Doll rolled out of the way. Doll began stomping away on the downed Ryder, proceeding to lock him in a chin
lock. Ryder screamed out in pain as the fans rallied him to get back to
his feet and elbow Doll off of him. Ryder obliged and pushed Ken against the ropes, thus hitting him with another back body drop. This time, Ken landed awkwardly on his back, screaming out in pain. Ryder took this opportunity to
climb to the top rope. As the referee was checking out Doll, Lacey Von Erich was
able to climb the apron and crotch Ryder on the top rope. Ken then
climbed to the top rope and took Ryder down with a gravity-defying superplex. Ryder jumped right into the cover and got the 1... 2... No, Doll kicks out. Ken got to his feet and pulled Ryder up with him. At that moment, the two began trading blows. Ryder got the better of Doll and whipped him into the corner, thus following up with a knee to the gut. Ken dropped down in the corner, leading Ryder to signal for his Broski Boot. He charged into the corner, but Ken
rolled out of the way and rolled up Ryder for the 1...2... NO! Again, Ryder barely kicked out. As Ken Doll got up, he turned around into the Rough Ryder out of nowhere! Von Erich again jumped up onto the ring apron and distracted the referee, but he was in no mood and ejected her from ringside! Lacey was in a frenzy as she walked up the ramp, but the crowd loved it. Ryder finally was able to get the referee's attention, but just as he turned around, Doll kicked him in the gut and planted him with a DDT! Ryder proceeded to climb the turnbuckle for his signature flying legdrop. After taunting for a handful of moments, Doll leaped off of the top rope at the downed Zack Ryder. Just as he was about to land, Ryder rolled out of the way! Ryder wasted no time as he pulled Doll up and blasted him with the "Zack Attack"! Ryder jumped into the cover as the crowd counted along for the 1.....2.....3!
Match time: 7:03 Cole: "Ryder has done it again!" JBL: "I don't believe this. How does that little idiot keep winning?" "OH RADIO" PLAYED AS RYDER CELEBRATED CONSECUTIVE VICTORIES WITH A WILD CROWD. MEANWHILE, LACEY HAD COME BACK OUT FROM THE BACK TO CONSOLE A CLEARLY DISAPPOINTED KEN DOLL. Cole: "Ken Doll had no equal in the toy department in about 1960, but here in the TWF, he's found a guy who has his number!" COMMERCIAL BREAK.... ANOTHER AD FOR GINGER ALE AIRS FOLLOWED BY ONE FOR TWF.COM RETURN FROM BREAK.... PRIMETIME RETURNS TO SHOW TRAVIS WAKEMAN SEATED AT HIS DESK, A VERY SERIOUS LOOK ON HIS FACE AS A CAMERA IS SET UP NOT 5 FEET AWAY. TRISH IS SHOWN IN THE BACKGROUND ON A SOFA, LEGS CROSSED. Travis Wakeman: "Hey Mike, great speech on Rampage. However, there are a few problems with it. But first of all, congrats to you and Stephanie on getting engaged... that's very cute. Spare me a wedding invite. As for your claims that you now own part of the TWF, let me correct you. Ya see, you're right, there was a silent partner which allowed me to secure the TWF Network so we could televise shows again, which, by the way, was your fault we lost in the first place. That silent partner is apparently you. That's just like you... the Element of Surprise that you are. But that's where the problem lies. Ya see, all that entitles you to is half ownership of the TWF Network. Nothing more. This company and everything else that comes with it, aside from the television network... you will never get your hands on. I know you've always wanted to. I know you've plotted behind my back, even as we grew The Empire together. But that's fine. I have what's important to me and now, I am in the process of naming general managers for both of our shows so that I can step back and maybe take a day or two off. Maybe take my wife out to dinner, ya know? I'll have a lot more after that too. So Mike, you do what you need to do. I'm sure you'll get a follower or two in this New Order that you speak of. Hopefully, for your sake, they're better than any of those clowns you used to run around with in the GSE. WAKEMAN GETS UP AND OPENS THE DOOR TO HIS OFFICE, LEADING TRISH OUT. We've been down a long road together, Mike. Soon, it will come to a head. This won't last forever, we've always known that. In the end, you'll clutch onto what's important to you." WAKEMAN CLOSES THE DOOR BEHIND HIM AS THE SHOT IS SENT BACK TO THE RING. THE TEAM OF CARNEY AND GUNDAM ARE IN THE RING GETTING LOOSE. "SAVE ME" BY BURN HALO HITS, BRINGING JORDAN ROCKWELL OUT TO AN ENORMOUS POP. Cole: "What did ya make of that, partner?" JBL: "I have no idea what to make of it. I have no idea who does what around here anymore and I really fear for this company if Money Mike and Mr. Wakeman continue this... rivalry they have going on." Cole: "Oh wait a minute... this unholy union between Carney and Gundam has attacked Jordan Rockwell and they are mugging him out here!" CARNEY AND GUNDAM WERE ALL OVER ROCKWELL THE SECOND HE GOT INTO THE RING. "MY TIME IS NOW" CAME ON AND JOHN CENA CHARGED OUT TO A GOOD CHEER FROM MOST. HE GAVE ROCKWELL A HAND, TAKING THE FIGHT TO BOTH MEN. John Cena and Jordan Rockwell vs. Gundam and Carney The save by Cena gave Rockwell the time he needed to recover and the Super Hero-esque duo was able to take things over. That was until Carney got a thumb into Cena's eyes and Gundam drilled him with a savate kick. Rockwell could only watch from the apron as the two men worked on Cena, taking turns getting their shots in. Gundam kept him down with a nerve hold, controlling his carotid artery and rendering him almost motionless in a seated position. Finally, Cena came up with the fortitude to get to his feet and fight back. After a couple elbows to the gut, Cena rocked Gundam with a right hand and then ran the ropes. But Carney was able to kick him in the back of the head, leading to a flying heel kick from Gundam. Carney tagged into the match and went to the top rope, coming off with a Swanton Bomb. Carney went into the cover and got the 1.........2......, but Cena powered out. Cena then caught Carney with his spinning sideslam before making it to his corner for the tag. Rockwell came into the match and was just dominant, catching Carney with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker before scooping him up and sending him to the ropes, hitting his sit-out spinebuster. Rockwell had the cover and the leg hooked, but Gundam came in to cause a separation on the pin attempt at two. Rockwell went after Gundam, but referee Mike Chioda stepped in between them. This allowed Carney to come from behind and deliver the "C-Drive" from behind! But the impact was too much and both men were down. Carney was finally able to crawl into a cover, getting nothing but an arm across the chest of 'The Franchise'. Rockwell was able to get up 1t 2. With Cena begging for a tag, Rockwell dove from his knees to make it. Cena came in and ran through Carney with a flying shoulder tackle. He then set up for the 5-Knuckle Shuffle. But as he did, Gundam left his position on the apron and forced the timekeeper out of his seat. Not worried about a disqualification, Gundam came into the ring with the chair, but Rockwell took him out with a crushing spear. Cena hit the 5-Knuckle Shuffle and then got Carney up, delivering an "F-U" with plenty of authority to get the 3 count and a big win. Match Time: 7:59 Cole: "A big F-U for Carney and Gundam! They tried to make an impact against two of the biggest names in the TWF tonight, but they fell just a little short!" JBL: "Wait, Michael, look at this." AS "MY TIME IS NOW" PLAYED AGAIN AND CENA HAD HIS HAND RAISED BY CHIODA, ROCKWELL HAD LEFT THE RING TO RETRIEVE THE UNIVERSAL TITLE BELT. HE CAME INTO THE RING WITH IT, HANDING IT TO CENA. AFTER THAT, HE POINTED TO HIMSELF AND MOUTHED THE WORDS "I GOT NEXT", TO WHICH CENA JUST SMILED. Cole: "It looks like Rockwell is asking for a title shot." JBL: "Very interesting... very interesting." Cole: "That's all the time we have tonight, we hope you've enjoyed TWF PrimeTime! Join us on the next Rampage!" OFF AIR....
