UPRISING

Taped at the TWF Livewire Inn

THE SCENE CUTS TO THE TWF's NEW THEME RESTAURANT WHERE AL SNOW AND THE HONKY TONK MAN SIT ON A PODIUM IN THE MIDDLE OF ALMOST 1800 FANS WHO ARE HAVING A GREAT TIME.

Al Snow: "Hello again everyone and welcome to the TWF Livewire Inn where I am here along with Boxcar Willy for another dosage of TWF action right before PrimeTime".

Honky Tonk Man: "Who you callin' Boxcar Willy? Is that supposed to be an insult"?

Snow: "Anyways folks, we have a great night of action for ya before we send it over to the big boys on PrimeTime but starting next week, we will have live guests in the restaurant".

Honky Tonk Man: "Yeah, I heard that too. But if this place wants some real entertainment, they'll ask me to get up and sing Honky Love"!

Snow: "I doubt it and if you do, I hope someone has the hook ready quickly".

SMW Match: Essa Rios vs. Crazy Shane

After an intense match that saw several high spots from both men, Crazy Shane was dq'd when he brought a steel chair in the ring and pounded Rios right over the back in front of the referee. After the match, Snow mentioned that there would be a rematch at the next SMW show.

Carney vs. The Hurricane

This was a tremendous matchup that the crowd really got into. But after countering a cross body block attempt with a dropkick to the midsection, Carney hit the "Carney Drop" to score the victory.

Spike Dudley vs. Damaja

Damaja is a wrestler from Ohio Valley Wrestling that TWF officials have a keen interest in. And he didn't hurt his chances in this one, as he dominated Spike from the opening bell. But Spike got back into it with a spinning wheel kick and then knocked him over the top rope with a clothesline. Both men then fought threw the screaming crowd and literally out of the building.

Invitee Match: Psychosis vs. The Ultimo Dragon

Both of these guys had tryout matches a couple months ago but scouts weren't impressed with the results and wanted to see more. This was a spotfest between two great wrestlers and after countering a hurracanrana with a powerbomb, Ultimo Dragon used a mandara hineri to pin Psychosis for the win.

SMW Match: Breakdown vs. Keiji Sakoda

This was the in ring debut for Breakdown and Sakoda's only offense were some martial arts kicks to the legs which hardly phased the big man. Breakdown then put on a tremendous display of power moves, finally finishing him off with the "Breaking Point".

Al Snow: "Well fans, we are about five minutes away from PrimeTime and I hear it is gonna be a huge show tonight Honky".

Honky Tonk Man: "Well it's the night that Shane takes back control so you know it's gonna be interesing".

Snow: "Not only that, but the New Year's battle royale is set to be held and look for one of the guys who just left SMW to be on there somewhere. For Boxcar Willy, I'm Al Snow, catch ya next time"!

Honky Tonk Man: "Oh shut up".

THE SCREEN FADES TO BLACK BEFORE THE FOX NETWORK LOGO APPEARS.

PRIMETIME GOES LIVE

THE SCENE OPENS UP INSIDE SHANE McMAHON's OFFICE WHERE HE IS IN A GREAT MOOD. THERE IS A KNOCK AT THE DOOR.

Shane: "Yeah, come in".

THE DOOR OPENS AND TRAVIS WAKEMAN COMES IN WITH A GRIMACE.

Travis Wakeman: "You wanted to talk to me"?

Shane: "Yeah, as a matter of fact, I have news for you. Tonight, inside that very ring, you will defend those tag team titles of yours along with Brock Lesnar and you will defend them against a team that has deserved a shot for awhile now, Evolution".

Wakeman: (visibly mad) "Well I got news for you. I hope you enjoy this night in office, cause it's gonna be short lived. I've talked to most of the guys who are in the New Year's battle royale, which I set up, and whoever wins is gonna give control right back to me".

WAKEMAN LEAVES, SLAMMING THE DOOR BEHIND HIM.

Shane: (to himself) "You sure"?

"RAP SUPERSTAR" HITS AS PRIMETIME's MONTAGE VIDEO ROLLS BEFORE THE OMAHA AUDITORIUM COMES INTO VIEW AND THOUSANDS OF SCREAMING FANS ARE SHOWN.

Michael Cole: "It may be a small arena folks, but that seems to only make things louder! We are live from Omaha, Nebraska and we are ready for a return to form for our division"!

Bobby Heenan: "Well apparently you weren't listening to Travis Wakeman. He intends to get this show right back through the New Year's battle royale".

A PROMO PICTURE WITH THE PRIMETIME LOGO POPS UP SHOWING THE COMPETITORS.

Cole: "I heard him Brain. But their will be twelve men in that match, does he have all their votes"?

HAYABUSA's MUSIC HITS AFTER THE SOUNDING OF A JAPANESE GONG AND HE AND JIM CORNETTE COME OUT TO AN UNFAVORABLE RESPONSE.

Heenan: "Well he has my vote Cole and I hope whoever wins knows what's best for the long term of this division".

Cole: "Well here's a man who came within a hair of winning the Lightheavyweight title at War in the Winter but after being defeated in a great ladder match, he showed his true colors by attacking Dylan Jansens afterwards".

"WHATEVER" BY OUR LADY PEACE HITS AS CHRIS BENOIT COMES OUT TO A GOOD POP.

Heenan: "True colors? What about Jansens' true colors? You forget Cole, Hayabusa's father is permanently handicapped because of that attack".

Cole: "Well I haven't seen that proven, but speaking of japanese superstars, this man survived that grueling Japanese deathmatch at War in the Winter, defeating Kid Gundam. Not only that, but this year's Royal Rumble will actually be held in Japan as well Brain"!

Heenan: "I know that and I hear it is already a sellout".

Cole: "That will be a great night for the TWF folks but right now, we've got what should be a heck of a match to kick things off".

Hayabusa w/Jim Cornette vs. Chris Benoit

As the bell sounded, Benoit tried to lock up with Hayabusa but Hayabusa elusively slipped away and battered the rabid wolverine with some stiff kicks before hiting a spin kick on the jaw. He then went to his arms and performed 2 dragon arm whips before drilling him with a sliding dropkick to the ribs. Hayabusa then pulled him up but Benoit blocked a right hand thrust and drilled him with some stiff knifedge chops. After a standing switch, Benoit hit a perfect german suplex and was set to do another when Cornette waved out Kid Gundam. Gundam came running out with a pair of nunchucks but Dylan Jansens was right behind him. Jansens pulled Gundam off the apron and hit him with a kick to the head. He picked up the nunchucks as Hayabusa reached through the ropes to try and grab him but Jansens hit him with the handle of the weapon in the head. Meanwhile, Benoit climbed up the turnbuckle and hit his diving headbutt, which shook him up at first. But he was able to recover and hook the leg for the 1.....2.....3.

Match Time: 3:21

Heenan: "Come on referee, what was that"?!

Cole: "Cornette's plan backfired, right in his and his men's face"!

IN THE RING, BENOIT AND JANSENS SHOOK HANDS.

Heenan: "I don't believe this"!

Cole: "Benoit and Jansens have won this battle, but there will be more".

PRIOR TO COMMERCIAL.... SHANE's OFFICE....

SHANE IS AT HIS DESK READING SOME PAPERWORK WHEN JORDAN ROCKWELL COMES IN.

Shane: "Hey champ, what's up"?

Jordan Rockwell: "Listen Shane, I'm glad that you are back in charge, but I'm not happy with the way things are going around here. I know it's a big mystery as to who attacked me at War in the Winter but not to me. It was Chono and Muta and they need to pay....tonight"!

Shane: "Chono and Muta huh? Wakeman tried everything. Tell ya what, I'll give you a match with Muta tonight".

Rockwell: "That's a start, thanks".

ROCKWELL LEAVES THE OFFICE AS PRIMETIME GOES TO COMMERCIAL.....

COMMERCIAL BREAK....

RETURN FROM BREAK.... RINGSIDE....

AS PRIMETIME RETURNS, TERRI's MUSIC HITS AS SHE STANDS IN THE RING.

Cole: "We're back on PrimeTime fans and we are about to see the career of one person come to an end".

DAWN MARIE's MUSIC HITS AND SHE COMES OUT TO A MIXED RESPONSE.

Heenan: "Both these ladies have done me many favors in their careers and it's gonna be a shame to see one of them go".

Cole: "Well it was one of Wakeman's last decisions in power and don't ask me why he made this match".

Heenan: "There's no referee".

SUDDENLY, THE WAKEMAN ENTERPRISES LOGO IS SHOWN AND TRISH's MUSIC HITS AS SHE COMES OUT IN BLACK SHORTS AND A REFEREE TOP.

Cole: "Oh boy, I knew something was up. Trish is the damn referee"!

Heenan: "But what for"?

Cole: "This isn't right Brain, I mean, these two woman are not wrestlers. Their careers should not be decided inside a wrestling ring"!

Loser leaves the TWF: Dawn Marie vs. Terri

Special Referee: Trish Stratus

As soon as the bell sounded, it was evident what Trish's motive was. She allowed Terri to pull the hair of Dawn Marie and blatantly choke her for much more than a 5 count. But after reversing an irish whip, Dawn Marie used a hair toss and Trish got in her face. Dawn Marie moved Trish aside but Terri ducked a wild clothesline and rolled Dawn up with a schoolboy as Trish quick counted her to end the match.

Match Time: 2:35

Heenan: "It's over, Dawn Marie is outta here"!

Cole: "Oh come on! That was ridiculous"!

TRISH THEN TOOK DAWN MARIE BY THE HAIR AND THREW HER OUT OF THE RING AND THEN DUSTED HER HANDS OFF.

Heenan: "Dawn Marie is no longer part of the TWF".

Cole: "I haven't been a big fan of Dawn's since she came to the TWF, but that was wrong! Trish's three count was equal to about a one count! Wakeman is a scumbag for this"!

BACKSTAGE

VAL VENIS IS STANDING WITH ALLISON.

Allison: "Well Dawn Marie is gone, why don't you go with her"?

Val Venis: "Hey, it was you who had your tongue down my brother in law's throat! The same guy who is alos your best friends husband"!

Allison: "Ya know Val, it's that attitude that I'm sick of. That's why I showed up tonight, to tell you that this is over. I've found someone who will treat me the way I wanna be treated.

SHE STARTS TO WALK AWAY BUT TURNS BACK AROUND.

And no, it's not Edge".

ALLISON WALKS AWAY LEAVING VENIS STUNNED BEFORE THE SCENE CUTS BACK TO THE RINGSIDE BRAODCAST POSITION.

Heenan: "Wow, I guess that saga is over".

Cole: "At least that chapter of it. But one other chapter that we hope is not over is the one about Shawn Michaels. Now we all know what Shawn has done throughout his career, heck, he may be the best ever. We got a chance to talk to Shawn today from his San Antonio home and here's what he had to say".

SHAWN MICHAELS PHONE CONFERENCE FROM SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS

Shawn Michaels on his future: "I suffered another concussion at War in the Winter and it has caused me some memory loss and some lightheadedness ever since. But I do remember one thing and that was the fact that I lost and that stings. But doc tells me I need to take it easy for a few weeks and he has urged me to start winding things down. But that's okay, because I'm fine with that. I'm not the man I once was or the performer I once was and it's time for someone else to have that spotlight. However, with that said, I can tell you this. You haven't seen the last of Shawn Michaels".

BACK AT RINGSIDE, RHYNO's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT.

Cole: "I don't know what we can make of that folks. I suppose it's good and bad news but Shawn Michaels does plan on being back someday".

Heenan: "He did say one thing that I agree with and that is the fact that it's someone else's turn for the spotlight. Someone like the man in the ring".

Cole: "Well Rhyno is in the ring and he has demanded a microphone".

Rhyno: "Ya know, week in and week out, I watch guys come through that curtain and I hear the announcers try and make a big deal out of them. Guys are being given chances and they don't even know it! Well I'm tired of that! Because I'm the baddest man on PrimeTime and I haven't been given a chance by anybody! So I'm putting out an open challenge to anyone back there in that locker room to come out here and show these people that I'm not"!

Cole: "Rhyno has laid out an open challenge"!

JUST THEN, AN UNFAMILIAR THEME SONG HITS.

Heenan: "Who the heck is that"?

Cole: "Wait a minute, that's that newcomer Charlie Haas! This kid is a great wrestler Brain"!

Heenan: "Charlie Haas"?

Cole: "I hope Rhyno knows what he got himself into here, Haas is ready"!

Rhyno vs. Charlie Haas

As the bell sounded, the two men locked up and struggled for position before Haas used a great amatuer takedown into a top wristlock to surprise the manbeast. Rhyno tried to roll out of the hold but Haas rode him through it and locked in a body scissor. Rhyno was able to elbow his way out but after ducking a clothesline, Haas used a wonderful belly to belly suplex. Haas was extremely confident as he made the cover but Rhyno kicked out at 2, the first of 6 of those. Haas really had Rhyno on the ropes until he got caught with a spinebuster. But when Haas kicked out, Rhyno sent him for the ride and hit a nice powerslam. Rhyno then set him on the top turnbuckle looking for a suplex off the top rope but Haas knocked him off and came flying off with a cross body block. But Rhyno rolled through it to get the 1.....2...., but Haas kicked out. Rhyno then blasted the rookie with several right hands before charging him in the corner but Haas moved and he posted his shoulder. Haas then hit a great belly to back suplex but again, Rhyno kicked out. Rhyno then reversed an irish whip but Haas ducked a clothesline and then leapfrogged Rhyno. But Rhyno stopped in mid motion and drilled an unexpecting Haas with the "Gore" right when he landed and turned around. Rhyno then hooked the leg to finally put him away.

Match Time: 7:45

AS RHYNO WALKED UP THE RAMP, HAAS PUT HIS INDEX FINGER AND THUMB CLOSELY TOGETHER AS IF TO SAY "THIS CLOSE".

Cole: "What a match folks. That was a great effort by the youngster Haas".

Heenan: "A rookie mistake there in the end cost him but I've gotta say I'm impressed"!

Cole: "Rhyno dodged a bullet tonight but this won't be the last you hear of Charlie Haas"!

PRIOR TO COMMERCIAL.... SHANE's OFFICE....

SHANE IS ON THE PHONE.

Shane: "Yes I know that and I've already been burned once. I wanna see the papers, he's the hottest free agent out there. Okay that'd be....

JUST THEN, AN IRATE VAL VENIS ENTERS.

Val Venis: "We need to talk, now".

Shane: "I'm sorry, I'll have to call you back".

SHANE HANGS UP THE PHONE.

Shane: "What is it"?

Venis: "I want Edge in a match tonight, I can't take any more of this"!

Shane: "That's funny, cause Edge just left about five minutes ago. He wants a match with you tonight too".

Venis: "Oh really? Well then I guess I better go get ready".

VENIS LEAVES THE OFFICE AS PRIMETIME GOES TO COMMERCIAL.....

RETURN FROM BREAK.... BACKSTAGE....

TRAVIS WAKEMAN AND BROCK LESNAR ARE BACKSTAGE. LESNAR IS DOING PULL UPS ON A METAL STAIRWAY.

Travis Wakeman: "This is crap Brock. One of our guys has gotta win that battle royale tonight".

Brock Lesnar: "Did you talk to everyone"?

Wakeman: "Not everyone. You think that punk Vlad the Impaler would listen to me"?

Brock: "You got a point".

JUST THEN, "UNIVERSAL" AL LAIMAN WALKS UP.

Al Laiman: "Wakeman, just the man I've been looking for. You're not as easy to find now that you don't have your own office".

Wakeman: "What do you want"?

Laiman: "Well, I just came to tell you that if you stay out of my way, I won't reveal any of what I know".

Wakeman: "You don't know a damn thing".

Laiman: "Oh no? Well I know that you and Trish don't broadcast what you do in private, but she's more than just a friend to you, is it fair to say that"?

Wakeman: "Yeah, but what does that have to do with anything"?

Laiman: "Okay, so last year, at TWF Outbreak in Turkey, I was there. Ya see, I worked a show there the night before. A show that a female wrestler named Crystal Carmichael also worked. You remember her"?

Wakeman: "You son of a bitch. You better not say a word. It was once, it was nothing".

Laiman: "Like I said, you stay out of my way, I'll stay out of yours".

LAIMAN TURNS AND WALKS AWAY AS WAKEMAN KICKS OVER A NEARBY TRASH CAN. BROCK JUST HANGS FROM THE STAIRWAY LOOKING DOWN.

Wakeman: "Son of a bitch"!

TWF RE-WIND

SHOWS THE FOOTAGE FROM WAR IN THE WINTER OF JORDAN ROCKWELL SURROUNDED BY TRAINERS AND HOLDING HIS LEFT KNEE IN PAIN.

BACK AT RINGSIDE, CHONO AMD MUTA's MUSIC HITS AND THEY COME OUT TO A LOT OF BOOS.

Cole: "Well we found out that it was these two who attacked Jordan Rockwell at War in the Winter and that's why they weren't present for the pre match meeting. But Brain, what about what we just found out"?

Heenan: "Ya know, I don't know what to think. Hopefully it's not true".

"ROCK HARD" BY JA RULE HITS AS JORDAN ROCKWELL COMES OUT WITH THE UNIVERSAL TITLE OVER HIS SHOULDER AND HIS LEFT KNEE BANDAGED UP AS THE CROWD GOES WILD.

Cole: "Well judging by his reaction, it is. But moving on, here comes a man who is quickly becoming one of the TWF's all time greats. This won't be for the title, it's all about revenge for Rockwell".

Heenan: "Well with that bad wheel, I don't know if he should get in there with a guy like Muta".

Non-Title Match

The Great Muta w/Masa Chono vs. Universal Champion Jordan Rockwell

As the bell sounded, Muta wasted no time going after Rockwell's left knee and the champ could do little to protect it. Muta then draped Rockwell over the middle rope and distracted referee Jim Korderas as Chono pulled down on the back of his head to choke him. Muta then moved in and wore Rockwell out some more with a knee in the back. Rockwell tried to get back into it but Muta's attack focused solely on the knee and he had Rockwell in a lot of trouble. After a snap mare, Muta kicked Rockwell squarely in the back before going to the top rope. He then came flying off but Rockwell caught him and delivered the Rock Smasher. Both men were down but as Rockwell finally got up, Chono got up on the apron. Rockwell hit him with a right hand, knocking him to the floor. When he turned around, Muta went for a savot kick but Rockwell caught his foot and brought him in for a belly to belly suplex, outside the ring and right on Chono! The fans went nuts but Chono helped Muta up as Korderas pulled Rockwell away from the ropes. Muta then hit a roundhouse to the head and got back into the ring but Rockwell ducked a spin kick and locked in a chicken wing in the center of the ring and Muta quickly tapped out.

Match Time: 5:18

Chono then tried to get involved but Rockwell kicked him in the gut and hit the "Extreme Measures" as "Rock Hard" blared again.

Cole: "Emphatically, our Universal champion has pulled it off"!

Heenan: "Where'd he get that chicken wing, Bob Backlund"?!

Cole: "It's just another way Rockwell can beat ya and with a bad knee and all".

BACKSTAGE

IDALIS IS STANDING WITH CHARLIE HAAS.

Idalis: "Charlie Haas, what a way to start your TWF career, you almost beat Rhyno".

Charlie Haas: "Yeah, but I didn't beat Rhyno and that's what I concern myself with. I'm not here to look good, I'm here to win".

CHARLIE HAAS WALKS WAY.

BACK AT RINGSIDE, EVOLUTION's MUSIC IS PLAYING AND THEY ARE IN THE RING.

Cole: "Charlie's not much of a talker Brain but switching gears a little bit, what an oppurtunity for this young team"!

"MAKE WAY" BY METHOD MAN HITS AS TRISH LEADS WAKEMAN AND LESNAR OUT. THEY HAVE THE TITLES AROUND THEIR WAIST.

Heenan: "It's not right Cole, Shane gave them no warning"!

Cole: "It's no different than when Wakeman was in control and Evolution was more than deserved of a shot, yet never got one and tonight's their chance. But ya gotta wonder how much Wakeman will be affected by his confrontation with Al Laiman earlier tonight".

Heenan: "He's not affected Cole. It's nothing but an allegation, that's all".

TWF Tag Team Title Match

Challengers.... Evolution vs. Wakeman Enterprises w/Trish

Wakeman and Lesnar were too much for Evolution in the early going as Wakeman outwrestled Kazarian and had no problem taking Nova to the mat before tagging in Lesnar who used his brute force to overpower Nova. W.E. made frequent tags as they were just toying with the challengers. But Evolution's desire kept them alive as Nova continued to kick out of pinning situations. Finally, after ducking a clothesline, he tagged in Kazarian and both men took on Wakeman. After clotheslining Nova, Wakeman dropped Kazarian with a swinging neckbreaker before tagging in Brock. With all 4 men in the ring, Trish got on the apron and distracted referee Charles Robinson as Wakeman went outside the ring and tossed Lesnar a steel chair. But Kazarian ducked his swing and superkicked the chair right in his face as the crowd went nuts. Nova and Kazarian then double dropkicked Wakeman off the apron before Nova went to the top rope and hit a corkscrew moonsault and covered Lesnar as Robinson turned to count the 1.....2.....3.!

Match Time: 21:34

Heenan: "No way! No way! This can't be"!

Cole: "But it is Brain! Evolution are the brand new tag team champions"!

EVOLUTION's MUSIC HITS AS THE RAUCUS CROWD LOUDLY CHEERS WHILE LESNAR AND WAKEMAN WALK AWAY IN ANGER.

Heenan: "Oh man, we gotta get Shane out of that office"!

Cole: "The New year's battle royale is next"!

COMMERCIAL BREAK....

Jansens and Vlad were both trying to lift each other out of the ring when Matt came and tried to dump them both out. Vlad did go but Jansens hung on on the apron. Jansens and Matt then had a back and forth fight as both men really wanted to win in. After countering the Goliath, Matt went for the "Twist of Fate" but Jansens pushed him to the ropes and caught him with a spin kick to the head. He then ran through him with a clothesline that knocked him over the top rope to win it.

Cole: "The Lightheavyweight champion, Dylan Jansens is the winner! He's got first choice on how to better the TWF in 2003"!

Heenan: "This is horrible! He'll never put Wakeman back in"!

Cole: "We'll find out next week what it is he will do folks"!

AN AD FOR TWF.COM IS SHOWN.

BACK AT RINGSIDE, "HERE COMES THE MONEY" HITS AND THE CROWD COMES TO THEIR FEET AS SHANE McMAHON COMES OUT WITH A MIC.

Cole: "It's time for Shane-O-Mac to address the crowd".

Heenan: "Yeah, I can't wait".

Shane: "Hello everyone and thank you for coming to PrimeTime, the top wrestling show on the planet. For those of you who don't know, I have gotten my division back and things are gonna take a drastic change around here. Just ask Wakeman Enterprises. Now with the Royal Rumble coming up, I wanna make it clear that the fifteen men who will represent PrimeTime are going to deserve it. Superstars who I don't specially select will have to compete for their spot and that will happen soon. Now, on to another.......

SUDDENLY, THE LIGHTS GO OUT AND THE IMAGE OF BLOOD TRICKLES DOWN THE PRIMETRON AS DREW BLOOD's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT TO SHEER SILENCE.

Cole: "What in the hell is this"?

Heenan: "This is the man who put Shawn Michaels out of action. Scheduled or not, he should be able to come out here".

Cole: "But why is he interrupting Shane"?

DREW BLOOD PULLS THE CLOAK FROM HIS HEAD AS SHANE SEEMS STARTLED.

Drew Blood: "Before you go any further, I have something to tell you, Mr. owner. I was disappointed to see you win PrimeTime back, because I know you support what they believe. But I warn you, I have earned what I deserve, whether you admit to it or not. But trust me McMahon, I don't give a damn what your name means or how powerful it is. If I don't get what I deserve, the battle you just won with Wakeman Enterprises will pale in comparison to my wrath".

DREW BLOOD DROPS THE MIC AND COVERS HIS HEAD WITH THE CLOAK AS THE LIGHTS DIM. SHANE LOOKS ON IS DISBELIEF.

Cole: "What the hell is that about Brain? He can't make threats like that"!

Heenan: "He just did and he has before! Someone better take this man seriously or I don't think anyone's gonna wanna work for Shane McMahon"!

OFF AIR......
