Winston-Salem, North Carolina
Attendance: 13,926
June 3, 2004
It was a hot night in North Carlina as June rolled around and PrimeTime held the first show in the month for the TWF. Fans came out in packs to witness what was sure to be a huge night that started with Uprising. Akio vs. Rick Clark Clark's size advantage gave him control of this match after taking Akio out of his aerial game. Sakoda came down to ringside but Chris Tirpak quickly followed to even the odds. Sakoda got in Tirpak's face and a brawl ensued but the referee came out to break them up as the action continued in the ring. Tirpak got in a shouting match with the ref and Sakoda snuck into the ring and kicked Clark right in his left arm. Clark crumpled to the mat and Akio slapped on a fujiwara armbar. The referee came back into the ring to see Clark tapping out. Essa Rios vs. Shark Boy (invitee) Former TWF superstar Shark Boy was invited to Winston-Salem to compete and he looked pretty good in the early going, getting the crowd way behind him. But Rios was able to nail him with a springboard headscissor followed by a big powerslam. That led to the mind boggling moonsault that Rios possesses and a 3 count. Tajiri vs. Mortis The last match on Uprising was a very competitive one between these two men in which they both showed off a wide erray of innovative offense. But after escaping from the "Flatliner", Tajiri ducked a clothesline and kicked Mortis in the gut before smashing him with a roundhouse to the side of the head, hooking the leg for the 3 count. TAJIRI EXCITEDLY CELEBRATED THE WIN AND HOWARD FINKEL CAME INTO THE RING TO TELL THE FANS PRIMETIME WOULD BE GOING LIVE ON THE FOX NETWORK IN 30 SECONDS. PRIMETIME GOES LIVE
THE IMAGES INCLUDED IN PRIMETIME's MONTAGE ROLL AND "RAP SUPERSTAR" REVS UP, STARTING FOX's TOP PROGRAM. THE ARENA THEN COMES INTO VIEW, NEARLY CAPACITATED BY THOUSANDS OF STOKED FANS AND THE PYRO FILLED START UP GOES OFF. Michael Cole: "Winston-Salem, North Carolina is rockin' Jesse and with good reason.... what a show we have tonight"! A PROMO GRAPHIC IS SHOWN WITH THE 16 MEN WHO WILL BE IN TONIGHT's BATTLE ROYALE. Jesse Ventura: "It was announced last week by Raven that we would have a huge battle royale to determine a number one contender right here tonight and we got it Cole! It's gonna be huge"! THE CAMERA THEN SHOWS A STEEL CAGE PERCHED ABOVE THE RING. Cole: "And in our main event, we've got bitter enemies..... Mr. Vain to face Travis Wakeman inside the unforgiving, career shortening steel cage"! PAUL LONDON's MUSIC HITS AND HE RUNS DOWN THE AISLE AND INTO THE RING TO A GOOD CHEER. Ventura: "One of those men might not walk out of Winston-Salem tonight Michael.... it's gonna be brutal". Cole: "We're starting things off with two of the most talented, yet underrated superstars that we have here on PrimeTime"! LOW-KI COMES OUT TO THE MUSIC OF THE CHOSEN BUT IS MET WITH A MIXED REACTION. Ventura: "Last week Tajiri found out just how good Low-Ki is Cole, before and after their match". Cole: "Tajiri was able to defeat Low-Ki last week but it was after the match where Low-Ki proceeded to beat Tajiri senseless and now, Paul London might feel that same wrath". Ventura: "Well you can't take anything away from London, he's been great since he came to PrimeTime but I see Low-Ki moving a step ahead in his career Michael. I see him branching out to show the world of sports entertainment how good he really is". Cole: "These two know each other well from other stops in their careers but to my knowlegde, this is their first meeting in the TWF". Paul London vs. Low-Ki PrimeTime could not have gotten off to a more action packed start as two of the most exciting superstars in the business traded moves here. The fans wanted to see more and more after each move but it was London who was able to get out of his normal style and take Low-Ki to the mat to avoid his deadly feet. After a headlock takedown, London negotiated Low-Ki into a pin that nearly got him the win. But when they both got to their feet, Low-Ki caught him with a kick to the stomach followed by a float over suplex. London was up at 2 but was pelted with kicks to his legs as Low-Ki tried to knot them up. He shot him to the ropes but London shot over him with a tuck under roll and then came up with the gorgeous dropsault. After shooting Low-Ki to the corner, London charged in with a monkey flip before hitting a standing moonsault for the 1.......2......., but Low-Ki was up. Low-Ki then turned a hip toss off an irish whip into a wicked DDT and the fans had to cheer. Low-Ki then sized him up for a finishing kick but London took a page out of his opponent's book with a back footsweep and then he landed a springboard into a DDT that brought the crowd to their feet. London then went to the top rope and jumped off but Ki recovered and kicked him right in the chest. London slammed on the mat in pain and Ki picked him up for the devastating "Ki Krush Driver, hooking both legs for the 3 count. Match Time: 6:18 Ventura: "Now that is what you call a finishing move Michael! We need a human spatula to get London off the mat"! Cole: "Paul London gave Low-Ki all he could handle but the Ki Krush Driver did him in.... wait a minute.... there's Tajiri"! TAJIRI RAN OUT AND CAME INTO THE RING. LOW-KI THREW A KICK BUT TAJIRI DUCKED AND SPIT BLUE MIST IN HIS FACE! THE CROWD WENT WILD AS LOW-KI STUMBLED THROUGH THE ROPES AND UP THE AISLE. Ventura: "It's that mist again! Oh if I were Low-Ki Tajiri would be dead"! Cole: "Tajiri has retaliated for last week with a blinding mist"! BACKSTAGE..... CAMERAS IN THE BACKSTAGE AREA SHOW A CONVERSATION GOING ON BETWEEN TED DIBIASE AND RHYNO BUT CAN'T HEAR WHAT IS BEING SAID. RAVEN's OFFICE..... MEANWHILE IN RAVEN's OFFICE, HE IS TALKING WITH AXL IRVIN WHEN THERE IS A KNOCK AT THE DOOR. Raven: "Enter". THE DOOR OPENS AND BRAND NEW SUPERSTAR CHAOS WOLF COMES IN. Axl Irvin: "Do you mind... we're in the middle of something". Chaos Wolf: "Isn't this Shane McMahon's office"? RAVEN AND IRVIN START LAUGHING. Raven: "Uh, apparently you don't follow this show, because I made sure he's not around anymore. By the way, who the hell are you"? Chaos Wolf: "I'm just came up from Smoky Mountain and I wanted to tell Shane that I'd love to have a match tonight". Raven: "First off.... forget about McMahon... this is my show. As for a match tonight, I think we can do that. Hey Axl, how bout we have him face that other new guy... what's his name.... El Diablo"? Axl Irvin: "Uh.... okay, I guess that's a good idea". Raven: "Okay Creepy Wolf or whatever the hell your name is, you got your match, now get out of my office". CHAOS WOLF LEAVES THE OFFICE AS THE SHOT FADES TO BLACK. COMMERCIAL BREAK...... A COMMERCIAL FOR MOUNTAIN DEW LIVEWIRE IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY ONE FOR THE NEW "TOO HOT FOR TV: COPS" VIDEO. RETURN FROM BREAK.... AS PRIMETIME RETURNS, RENE DUPREE's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT TO SOME MAJOR HEAT, WAVING THE FRENCH FLAG. Cole: "The action continues here on PrimeTime and here comes Rene Dupree, a twenty year old who is far from his prime Jesse". Ventura: "He came over here in a trade from RAW and he's loaded with talent, but it seems to me we put up with a lot of guys bashing America on this show and I get a little sick of it Michael". MARK JINDRAK's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT TO A GOOD POP. Cole: "And right after this match, we will bear witness to another Anti-American tv skit, something Aries did earlier in his career and has started up again and I'm sure that will be hideous". Ventura: "All our fans know how I feel about him and I can't wait until someone puts him in his place". Cole: "Well we both know he's got a supporter now but getting back to that trade you eluded to earlier, Mark Jindrak came over here in that same trade. But as we found out just days ago, another trade has been announced"! Ventura: "And this one is just as big Michael.... look at who we got"! A GRAPHIC POPS UP SHOWING THE SWAP BETWEEN RAW AND PRIMETIME WITH CHAVO GUERRERO AND STRIFE BEING TRADED FROM RAW FOR THE DYNAMIC DUO AND FRANKIE KAZARIAN. Cole: "We anticipate that Chavo Guerrero and Strife will both be on PrimeTime next week but right now, two of the young guns here are gonna go at it"! Rene Dupree vs. Mark Jindrak The bell rang and the two young bulls locked up. Jindrak whipped Dupree to the mat with an arm drag, But Dupree dusted it off and they locked up again. This time Dupree used a nice go around into a quick rollup but only got a 1 count. He then bounced off the ropes but ran right into the high elevation dropkick of Jindrak. After whipping Dupree to the corner, Jindrak moved in with some kicks to the midsection before firing him to the opposite side and charging in but this time, Dupree was waiting with a boot to the mouth followed by a hard clothesline. Dupree then went into his type of match, slowing things down dramatically with a leg hold. But Jindrak hung tough inside of it and managed to work his way to the ropes. Referee Chris Kay got on Dupree to break the hold and Dupree finally did. He then turned and threw a right hand but Jindrak blocked it and pounded him with a few of his own. He then pulled him in for a delay vertical suplex, letting the blood rush down in Dupree's head and then dropping him on the mat. Jindrak then went to the top rope and smashed Dupree with a missile dropkick, hooking the leg to get 1.....2......., but Dupree was up. Jindrak then went for a whip to the corner but Dupree reversed it. But Jindrak jumped on the top rope and flew off with a reverse flying clothesline. But Rene avoided the impact and scooped Jindrak up, dropping him with an inverted powerbomb to get the 3 count from Kay. Match Time: 6:36 KAY RAISED DUPREE's ARM AND HE MANAGED A BIG GRIN AS HIS MUSIC PLAYED. Cole: "So Rene Dupree has won this one with that impressive finishing move but Jindrak should not be ashamed, it could've easily gone his way Jesse"! Ventura: "Like I said, Dupree is loaded with physical tools Michael but as long as he's playing this hate card against the U.S., I won't be too big on him"! Cole: "Unfortunately, as promised, here's what we told you would come out of the camp of Aries and Hirohito". THE SHOT GOES INTO A DARK ROOM, WHERE TWO SHADOWY FIGURES ARE SHOWN. ON A FILM PROJECTION SCREEN, IMAGES OF DEVASTATION ARE SHOWN AS THE LIGHT ILLUMINATES THE FACES OF ARIES AND HIROHITO. Aries: "The people of America don't want to consider themselves barbaric or bloodthirsty, yet almost all of them will justify what happened in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. MORE SHOTS ARE SHOWN FROM THE ATOMIC BOMB BEING DROPPED IN HIROSHIMA AND NAGASAKI DURING WWII AS WELL AS SOME SHOTS OF THE AFTERMATH. I stand here now with someone who's family... whose ancestors were affected by this needless tragedy that you and your President at the time said there was no alternative to. Hundreds of thousands of people were either injured or killed by this and then you pathetic forms of life ask why people don't like you"? HIROHITO THEN CHIMES IN, SPEAKING JAPANESE IN A VERY LOUD TONE, AN ANGRY SCOWL ON HIS FACE. Aries: "This is just one of the reasons we have declared war on all American superstars and we will interrupt this broadcast any time we please to show you further evidence of what your own country and corrupt government is doing to you"! ARIES THEN PULLS A PLUG IN THE ROOM AND THE SCREEN BECOMES SNOWY. THE SHOT THEN RETURNS TO THE BROADCAST TABLE. Cole: "Disturbing footage indeed, but I don't think they're gonna get many people to agree with what they're saying.... Jesse". Ventura: (pauses) "It is disturbing Cole... I just...... Cole: "Well what is it partner"? Ventura: "I'd rather not say right now.... can we move on"? Cole: "Okay well let's talk about PrimeTime's next pay-per-view event.... Payback. In just about three and half weeks, the Delta Center will be rockin' for an event that is nearly sold out Jesse"! "BODIES" BY DROWNING POOL PLAYS OVER THE LOUDSPEAKERS AND CHAOS WOLF MAKES HIS WAY OUT TO A NICE WELCOME. Ventura: "I'm sorry, I'm a little off focus right now Michael, who is this guy again"? Cole: "This is Chaos Wolf.... the newest superstar here on PrimeTime and from the reports I've read.... he's very good"! Ventura: "Okay, okay, now I'm back on track... he's facing El Diablo". THE MASKED EL DIABLO COMES OUT TO NO MUSIC AND THE FANS IN THE ARENA START CHANTING "AXL.... AXL.....AXL" IN AN ANNOYING, TAUNTING WAY. Cole: "These people in Winston-Salem certainly aren't fooled, they know who's under that mask". Ventura: "Axl Irvin was in the office when this kid barged in Michael.... how could he....... Cole: "Oh come on, it's so obvious, the brown hair even sticks out the back"! EL DIABLO GOT INTO THE RING AND TRIED TO MAKE A SURPRISE ATTACK ON CHAOS WOLF BUT WOLF WAS READY FOR IT. Ventura: "They're not gonna waste any time"! Chaos Wolf vs. "El Diablo" By foiling the surprise attack, Chaos Wolf had all the momentum on his side, rocking El Diablo around the ring with right hands before whipping him to the ropes for a flying calf kick. Wolf went for a cover but could only get a 2 count. But with the crowd firmly behind him, he just pounded Diablo some more, hitting a belly to belly suplex and El Diablo slid out of the ring. But Wolf gave him zero time to rest, flying over the top rope with an amazing suicide dive. He then rolled Diablo into the ring once he finally got to his feet and got back in, grabbing at the mask of Diablo. Diablo was able to get in a shot to the stomach to fend him off followed by a hard clothesline. But when he went for a suplex, Wolf slung over him and tried to pull the mask off again. But referee Charles Robinson pulled him back to seperate the two and that created an opening for El Diablo to kick him in the gut and then deliver a move identical to the "Axl Cutter" and he hooked the leg for the pin. Match Time: 6:26 EL DIABLO SLID OUT OF THE RING AND WALKED UP THE RAMP IN A HURRY. Cole: "After a match dominated by Chaos Wolf, Axl.... I mean El Diablo has escaped with the victory". Ventura: "Charles Robinson may've actually cost him that match Michael but I guess that's what he gets for going after the mask like that. And would you quit calling him Axl Irvin"?! Cole: "Whoa.... wait a minute"! JUST THEN, DYLAN JANSENS CAME OUT FROM THE BACK AND TRIED TO PULL THE MASK OFF OF EL DIABLO AS HE SQUIRMED ON THE FLOOR. BUT SOMEHOW, HE WAS ABLE TO SLIP OUT OF THE GRASP OF JANSENS AND RUN INTO THE BACK AS THE FANS BOOED. Ventura: "What is Jansens thinking? When did this have anything to do with him"?! A SHOT OF JANSENS WAS SHOWN, SMILING. Cole: "I think like the rest of us, he knows who's really under that mask"! COMMERCIAL BREAK...... A COMMERCIAL FOR PEPSI IS SHOWN ALONG WITH A PREVIEW FOR THE NEW MOVIE "KING ARTHUR". RETURN FROM BREAK.... RINGSIDE..... AS PRIMETIME RETURNED, "WAITING TO DIE" BY HED HIT AND SHANE THOMPSON CAME OUT, CARRYING HIS INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE. HE WAS FLANKED BY A LARGE MAN IN A BIEGE BUSINESS SUIT. Cole: "We're back on PrimeTime and here comes the Intercontinental champion but who is that with him"?! Ventura: "He's got new ring music and some sort of a new accomplice Cole... look at the size of this guy". THE TWO MEN GET IN THE RING AND THOMPSON IS GIVEN A MIC. Shane Thompson: "With being Intercontinental champion.... comes having to look over your shoulder at all times. Now I haven't had a problem with this, until I had to look out for things I never thought I'd have to.... until recently". Cole: "What does he mean by that"? Thompson: "That is why I have gone out and found the biggest, toughest, personal bodygaurd that I could....... Luther Rains. Just take a look. There won't be any problems that this man can't take care of". JUST THEN, THE MUSIC OF THE CHOSEN HIT AND SEVERAL CLOUDS APPEARED ON THE PRIMETRON AS CHRISTOPHER DANIELS CAME OUT. Ventura: "And this could definitely be a problem". Cole: "Christopher Daniels, the leader of The Chosen, has come out and he looks confused"! Chris Daniels: "Mr. Thompson, is there a reason why I wasn't notified about this personal bodygaurd thing? Do you not remember that when I accepted you into The Chosen, I told you we were a family, that we took care of each other"? Thompson: "That is until you tried to blame me for the near downfall of the group when it was you who was out of action! It was you who cost us at WrestleMania"! Cole: "Oh boy". Daniels: "Ya know Thompson, I really wanted to come out here and see if we could resolve this issue, before it exploded. But if you really believe that, then there is no hope. So now Thompson, rather than having the Fallen Angel as your companion, your mentor and your gaurdian..... you will have the Fallen Angel as you have yet to see him before..... on the other side". DANIELS GIVES THOMPSON ONE LONG LAST LOOK AS THE CHOSEN's MUSIC PLAYS BEFORE GOING INTO THE BACKSTAGE AREA. Cole: "What does he mean by that.... on the other side"?! Ventura: "This situation has just taken a turn for the worse Michael and I think it's safe to say The Chosen may have just crumbled before our very eyes". BACKSTAGE..... IDALIS IS SHOWN WITH ROB VAN DAM WHO HAS THE UNIVERSAL TITLE OVER HIS SHOULDER. Idalis: "Rob, the sixteen superstars are filing into the ring for the sixteen man, over the top rope battle royale and the winner will face you at TWF Payback for your Universal title. Do you think Raven has stacked the odds against you with all these potential challengers"? Rob Van Dam: "Well Idalis, far be it from me to question my good friend Raven's judgement. But seriously, PrimeTime is known for the oppurtunities it gives and whoever wins, I'll be happy to defend my Universal title against them at Payback". Idalis: "Okay Rob, let's send it back to Michael Cole and The Body". BACK INSIDE THE ARENA, THE RING IS BEING FILLED WITH COMPETITORS AS "ROCK HARD" BY JA RULE HITS AND JORDAN ROCKWELL COMES OUT, PYRO POUNDING OFF, TO A HUGE POP. RHYNO IS SHOWN LOOKING ON INTENTLY. Cole: "Calm, cool and collect is RVD but Jesse, it won't be that way in this battle royale". Ventura: "Battle royales are nothing but chaos Michael. It's just like a street brawl in which the last man standing wins"! Cole: "Several big names are in the ring including the self proclaimed number one contender Jamie Noble but only one of them will go to Payback"! 16 Man Over the top rope Battle Royale to determine #1 contender for TWF Universal Title The bell rang and the fracas began. Rockwell went right at Rhyno and the two started trading some very heavy shots. Christopher Daniels tried to give Rhyno a hand but Edge moved in to help Rockwell. Rockwell then dropped Daniels with a right hand and Edge charged the manbeast but Rhyno lifted him up and over the top rope with a backdrop. Rhyno stood and berated Edge but Chris Daniels dropkicked him in the back to take him out! Rhyno was not happy and began brawling with Edge outside the ring. Some of the referees came over to stop the men and got Edge to go to the back but Rhyno rolled underneath the ring. Daniels was the next to go, dumped over the ropes by Sean O'Haire but O'Haire didn't have much time to gloat as Dylan Jansens and Rockwell came with a double clothesline that took him out. Rockwell and Jansens surveyed the scene when Rhyno came out from under the ring and pulled Rockwell out. Rockwell went after him but the referees outside came and forced him to the back as well. As this was going on, Rhyno got on the apron and grabbed Jansens, bringing him out as well. Finally, officials came out from the back and threatened a suspension against Rhyno, getting the manbeast to finally leave. The field was starting to be weeding out as Jamie Noble lowbridged the ropes to eliminate a diving Chris Tirpak but as Noble began to celebrate on the turnbuckle, the lights went out and a spotlight shined down, right on Noble. The other men continued to brawl and the spotlight shut off. The lights came back on and Noble was stunned to see The Dark Prince in the ring and he hopped over the top rope, apparently eliminating himself. He then ran through the crowd as The Prince followed. Royal Rumble winner Charlie Haas was next to go, put out by Rey Mysterio and then, Batista inadvertently took out his best friend Randy Orton with a clothesline when Rey ducked. The Ultimo Dragon then came into the forefront, teaming with Mysterio to battle the much bigger, stronger tandem of Nails and Batista. But The Dragon went for an Asai moonsault on Nails only to have Nails move out of the way. But Ultimo landed on his feet and crescent kicked the hockey masked maniac, knocking him out of the match. Sakoda then came over and peppered Batista with some martial arts kicks before Rey and Ultimo used a double front dropkick to eliminate him. Sakoda, Ultimo and Rey were the last three men in the match and they circled each other, choosing their spots carefully. Sakoda moved in first with a sharp kick at Mysterio but Rey caught his foot and pushed him right into the Dragon who nailed the Dragon DDT. Rey then came and tried to catch Ultimo off gaurd but Ultimo used a drop toe hold on Rey. Sakoda charged Ultimo from behind but the instinctive Lightheavyweight champ moved and whipped Sakoda over the top rope to the floor. Rey then got up and the fans came to their feet for the final confrontation, which went on for 5 more minutes. After a flying headscissor, Rey looked like he was gonna win it but Ultimo countered a hurracanrana attempt with a powerbomb. He then shot him to the corner and followed in but Rey stuck a boot right in his face. Rey then went up top but Ultimo kicked the ring ropes to knock him down and then kicked him in the side of the head, knocking him to the floor. Match Time: 12:11 Cole: "Oh my.... the Ultimo Dragon has won this thing"! Ventura: "We've said for weeks that he's the hottest superstar in the TWF Cole and now he's got the oppurtunity of a lifetime"! REY GOT BACK IN THE RING, GRACIOUSLY SHAKING ULTIMO's HAND AS THE DRAGON's MUSIC PLAYED. Cole: "Great show of sportsmanship there Jesse and wow, at TWF Payback, you got The Ultimo Dragon battling Rob Van Dam for the Universal title"! COMMERCIAL BREAK...... A COMMERCIAL FOR AMERICAN EXPRESS IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY PROGRAMMING ADS FOR "THE SIMPSONS", "ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT" AND "MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE". RETURN FROM BREAK.... RINGSIDE..... WHEN PRIMETIME RETURNS, THE F.B.I. IS IN THE RING, BEING BOOED AS THEIR MUSIC PLAYS. JOHNNY STAMBOLI IS HOLDING UP THE HARDCORE TITLE. Cole: "We're back and there you see the FBI as we are about to have another big singles matchup". "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA" THE LAUGH OF TED DIBIASE IS HEARD AS "MONEY, MONEY, MONEY" PLAYS AND DIBIASE COMES OUT WITH THE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS, ROB CONWAY AND NICK DINSMORE, HIS MILLION DOLLAR TEAM. Ventura: "It's gonna be a battle between two groups I like Michael". Cole: "These two groups are no strangers to each other either. At one time, the FBI was a group Dibiase would go to for his dirty work but after that, they became pretty big enemies. It's gonna be Rob Conway versus Guido Maritato here and you know the FBI would love to add more gold to their group and a win by Guido could help them get a shot at those tag team titles"! Ventura: "I love the FBI Michael but Conway and Dinsmore have Dibiase, the X factor"! Rob Conway w/ Ted Dibiase and Nick Dinsmore vs. Guido Maritato w/ Johnny Stamboli Conway quickly became the aggressor here, overpowering the smaller Maritato and then slamming him to the mat with a reverse DDT. Conway hit the ropes moments later but Stamboli grabbed his foot. This brought Nick Dinsmore over but before they could go at it, referee Brian Hebner forced Dinsmore away. Conway continued his assault in the ring but Guido was able to slip off his shoulders when he went for a running powerslam and then he caught him with a wheel kick when he charged back. After a tornado DDT, Guido had the pin but Dibiase had Hebner distracted. Guido got up and got Hebner's attention but when he turned around, Conway kicked him in the stomach and hit a fisherman buster, hooking the leg for the 1.......2....., but Guido was up. Conway pulled him up and whipped him to the ropes but Guido avoided a clothesline and scored with a low dropkick. He then bounced off the opposite side but Dinsmore grabbed his foot. Hebner saw this and ordered Dinsmore to leave and this drew the ire of Dibiase. But while Dibiase argued with Hebner, Stamboli grabbed the arm of Conway and wrapped it around the steel ring post! Guido then grabbed it and used the turnbuckle to hit the "Arivaderche", getting Conway to tap out. Match Time: 6:54 Cole: "The X factor huh Jess? He just allowed the FBI to cheat for the win"! Ventura: "Don't put this on Dibiase Cole, the ref just had his hands full"! Cole: "Guido Maritato has scored a big win here over Rob Conway and.... wait a minute, here comes Axl Irvin"! AXL IRVIN CAME OUT, LOOKING LIKE HE WAS GONNA GO AFTER THE FBI BUT DYLAN JANSENS CAME OUT TO AND THE FIGHT WAS ON BETWEEN HE AND IRVIN. THE MILLION DOLLAR TEAM JOINED IN AND THIS FORCED JORDAN ROCKWELL TO COME OUT TO A HUGE CHEER. ROCKWELL AND JANSENS SEEMED TO BE HOLDING THEIR OWN UNTIL THE MANBEAST CAME OUT AGAIN AND "GORED" ROCKWELL RIGHT INTO THE RING APRON. ROCKWELL FELL HARD AND GRABBED THE BACK OF HIS HEAD AS JANSENS HAD SUCCUMBED TO THE OTHERS ATTACKING HIM. FINALLY, RHYNO CAME BACK OVER WITH A STEEL CHAIR AND JUST WORE ROCKWELL OUT WITH IT. DIBIASE THEN ORDERED HIS MEN, NOW WITH CHARLIE HAAS OUT, TO PICK ROCKWELL UP AND WHEN THEY DID, RHYNO SMASHED THE CHAIR OVER HIS HEAD. ROCKWELL WAS UNCONCIOUS AS OFFICIALS CAME OUT TO BREAK IT UP. THE FBI HAD ALSO BEEN LAID OUT BY CHAIR SHOTS FROM IRVIN. Cole: "Jordan Rockwell has been destroyed! Look Jesse, here come the EMTs"! Ventura: "Well they've got a gurney with him but there are three other victims out here as well". Cole: "Rockwell is quite easily the worst for wear and they are now helping him up". THE EMTs PUT ROCKWELL IN A NECK BRACE AND LOADED HIM ONTO THE GURNEY. JANSENS HAD GOT TO HIS FEET AND BEGAN WALKING NEXT TO HIS GOOD FRIEND, WHO WAS BEING CHEERED AS HE WAS CARTED OFF. Cole: "Folks those were some scary chair shots and you've gotta wonder if there's been some permanent damage done here". Ventura: "Well you never wanna see a guy take a beating like that, that was brutal". THE CAGE BEGINS TO LOWER FROM THE CEILING. Cole: "Let's just hope Rockwell is okay and as you can see, the huge cage match is just moments away". THE CAMERAS SHOW THE OUTSIDE OF THE LAWRENCE JOEL COLISEUM IN THE DARK NORTH CAROLINA NIGHT. THERE IS A SIGN RIGHT IN THE PARKING LOT THAT SAYS "TWF RAW: HERE TONIGHT"! Ventura: "Well they've almost got this cage ready Michael, let's take a look at how it got this far between these guys". A VIDEO PACKAGE CHRONICLES THE SHORT, YET NASTY FUED BETWEEN MR. VAIN AND TRAVIS WAKEMAN. BACK TO LIVE ACTION, "MY WAY" BY LIMP BIZKIT PLAYS AND MR. VAIN COMES OUT IN BLACK SUNGLASSES WITH DAWN MARIE AND RICK MARTEL, WHO IS SPRAYING HIS "ARROGANCE". Cole: "Is this the night? Is this the night that this group, beauty in wrestling as they like to be called, can finally reach their goal of defeating Travis Wakeman"? Ventura: "I'll tell you Michael, the whole reason for this man being here, the whole reason he is in the TWF is for this.... to defeat and embarass Travis Wakeman and become a major player here on PrimeTime"! AS SOON AS "MY WAY" STOPS PLAYING, THE FANS BEGAN LOUDLY CHEERING IN ANTICIPATION AND THEN "MAKE WAY" HIT. PYRO POUNDED OFF AND TRISH STRATUS LED TRAVIS WAKEMAN OUT TO A ROARING OVATION. Cole: "Here comes the man who has been the man here on PrimeTime and in the TWF for several years, since it's inception Jesse and I think this is gonna be a statement match for him". Ventura: "How so"? Cole: "I look for Wakeman to come out aggressive as ever. I look for him to become an animal inside that cage. Mr. Vain asked Wakeman to accept his challenge when he felt like being a man. Well I think Mr. Vain is gonna find out that Wakeman is all man tonight"! Ventura: "That may well be Michael but even at that, I think Vain has too much on the line tonight and he won't go out easily"! Steel Cage Match Mr. Vain w/ Dawn Marie and Rick "The Model" Martel vs. Travis Wakeman w/ Trish Stratus This became perhaps the greatest cage match in TWF history as two men put it all on the line to win. Blood was shed and bodies were battered but the fans loved every second of it. After the cage door closed and outside referee Mike Enos locked it with a padlock, punches were thrown from both men. Wakeman won the tradeoff and shot Vain to the ropes, driving a fist into his gut when he bounced off. Wakeman then went into his offense, hitting a vertical suplex and a big elbow drop before making the first attempt to escape. But Vain was not about to give in that easily, pulling Wakeman to the mat and kicking him right in the ribs. Vain then delivered a Rock Bottom-like slam and he ascended the cage. He had a little trouble with his footing in the chain link fence style cage. M.O.W.'s cages were much different and this slow him down, allowing Wakeman to get up on the bottom ring rope and bring him off with a backdrop suplex. Wakeman then pulled Vain up and tried to ram him into the cage but Vain blocked it with his foot and elbowed Wakeman in the stomach. With Wakeman hunched over, Vain hit the ropes on the other side for a ton of momentum and just rammed him into the cage. Wakeman was split open and when he got to his feet, Martel took his Arrogance dispenser and jabbed him in the forehead. Trish ran around the ring and jumped on Martel, slapping away at him but Dawn came and pulled her off by the hair. Referees came out from the back and ordered both women away, barring them from ringside. Martel, who holds a valid Manager's license, was able to stay. In the ring, Wakeman was in trouble, pulling himself up using the legs of Vain. After a couple insulting slaps to the back of the head, Vain hit a nice swinging neckbreaker. He then tried to climb out of the cage and was about 3/4 of the way up when Wakeman got up and stretched out to grab his leg and pulled him down. With both men down, the fans loudly cheered for Wakeman to get up, driving Martel crazy. Vain was up first but a bloody Wakeman blocked a right hand and nailed him with a haymaker of his own before ripping off one of the top turnbuckle pads and ramming Vain into it, face first. Wakeman then used the cage like a cheese grater and ran Vain's face along it as blood dripped from Vain's face. Both men had the preverbial crimson mask and were still going at it like madmen. By this time, inside referee Mike Chioda was thinking about calling the match until Wakeman put Vain down with his new move the Mind Eraser. It looked like it was all over as Wakeman went to climb the cage. He reached the top and had one leg over when Vain got up and began to shake the cage, Wakeman slipped and fell a nasty fall, landing on his shoulder on the way down. This seemed to open the door for Vain who made another attempt to get out. But something willed Wakeman up and he was able to climb up with Vain, With both men near the top of the cage, Wakeman worked Vain onto his shoulders and came off into a pancake facebuster. Both men were down and the crowd was chanting "HOLY SHIT" as Chioda began his 10 count. At 8, Wakeman got up and pulled Vain to his feet. But Vain kicked him in the groin and went for an irish whip, only to have Wakeman reverse it.
