Rexall Place

Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

Attendance: 17, 149

August 10, 2004

The fans were stoked as the TWF made another trip north of the border. Rexall Place, which housed a huge event for a broadcast of SlaughterHouse, was rockin' again starting with the 2 matches on Uprising.

The Dynamic Duo vs. Jerelle Clark and Mikey Batts (invitees)

Tag team action started the night off as the superhero tandem met a team that has been making waves on the indy scene. But the Duo was up to the task and after Cyclone hit a reverse DDT on Clark, Hurricane connected with the Shining Wizard on Batts to get the win.

Steven Richards w/ Cyrus the Virus vs. Frankie Kazarian

This was a great match to end Uprising as these two guys went all out in a quick but exciting match. In the end, Cyrus jammed a steel chair into the lower back of Kazarian while Richards had the referee distracted. He then locked in the camel clutch and forced Kazarian to give in.

THE SIRENS OF THE NETWORK BLARED AS RICHARDS AND CYRUS LEFT TO A LOT OF HEAT.

RAMPAGE GOES LIVE

AS RAMPAGE COMES ON THE AIR, A SERIES OF STILL PHOTOS DEPICT THE FINISH OF THE 6 MAN HELL IN A CELL MATCH FROM TWF ANARCHY RULZ.

"ACROSS THE NATION" THAN LOUDLY HITS AND RAISES THE NOISE LEVEL OF THE CROWD INSIDE THE ARENA. AS THE REXALL PLACE IS PUT ON CAMERA, THE USUAL PYRO SHOW STARTS THINGS OFF AND THOUSANDS OF CHAOTIC FANS ARE SHOWN ALL REVVED UP.

Jim Ross: "We have traveled north of the border to the Rexall Place here ini Edmonton and we thank you for joining us here for TWF Rampage"!

Jerry Lawler: "These fans are as loud as I've heard in awhile J.R. but are they ready for what's to come tonight after the night we saw at Anarchy Rulz"?!

"VIVA LA RAZA" HITS AND EDDIE GUERRERO COMES OUT TO A VERY RESPECTABLE CHEER.

J.R.: "That's a great question King and we can tell you that Kurt Angle is still the World champion but not without some controversy"!

Lawler: "Oh there was a lot of controversy J.R. and not only that, but this guy here still thinks he should be number one contender"!

"LET ME HOLLA AT YA PLAYA" IS HEARD IN TEDDY LONG's VOICE AND HE STEPS OUT FROM THE BACK WITH JOHNNY BLAZE.

J.R.: "Under a Brother Services are going to provide Eddie Guerrero's opposition tonight but you're right King, Eddie feels that way and I'm sure he's hoping that Stephanie McMahon is watching this match closely so he can work towards that shot which he never really got"!

Lawler: "Well I can't feel sorry for him J.R., he got the same oppurtunity that all the other guys did at Anarchy Rulz and despite the odds, Kurt Angle came out on top"!

J.R.: "Well that's a story for later in the show but right now it's Eddie Guerrero meeting the young rookie who has been corrupted by Teddy Long.... Johnny Blaze".

Lawler: "Corrupted? I'd say a better word would be improved".

Eddie Guerrero vs. Johnny Blaze

Rampage started off with a much more competitive match than most everyone anticipated. Eddie quickly got on top in the match and had Blaze reeling after a great dropkick. He then pulled him up and shot him to the corner, following in with a clothesline before using a falling backdrop suplex. Eddie made the cover but was only able to pick up a 2 count. He pulled Blaze up and went for an irish whip but Blaze reversed it. He dropped his head too soon and Eddie responded with a kick to the chest followed by a clothesline but Blaze ducked and hit an immediate neckbreaker. After sticking Eddie with a piledriver, Blaze made the cover and got 1.........2........, but Eddie got a shoulder up. Eddie was still alive but very slow to get up so Blaze went to the turnbuckle and came off with a crossbody block, hooking both legs for a long 2 count before Eddie pushed him off. Blaze pulled Eddie up and shot him to the corner but Eddie countered with a back elbow as he charged in followed by a pendulum backbreaker. Teddy Long got on the apron but Eddie went and grabbed him with 2 hands. But this allowed Blaze to come from behind with a schoolboy to get the 1.......2......, but that was it. Blaze charged in but Eddie used a quick drop toehold and went into a standing side headlock. But Blaze elbowed his way out and went for the "Up in Smoke" facebuster but Eddie flung his hands out of the way and pulled him in for his trifecta suplex. After hitting the third, Eddie used a mandara hineri roll up to get the 1........2........3.

Match Time: 8:33

"VIVA LA RAZA" HIT AND EDDIE LEFT TO A HUGE ROAR AS LONG GOT IN TO CHECK ON BLAZE.

J.R.: "You gotta give Johnny Blaze some credit, I didn't think he'd fare that well but Eddie Guerrero gets another win under his belt and adds to his World title case"!

Lawler: "Well no disrespect to Johnny Blaze, he was great tonight, but it'd take a lot more than Eddie had tonight to defeat Angle for that title"!

J.R.: "Well that remains to be seen if and when they ever meet again but there was one major title change at Anarchy Rulz and that is when the new team of John Cena and Austin Pyromania, who will be collectively known as Pyronomics, took the Rampage tag team titles from La Resistance"!

Lawler: "Yeah but remember what Jimmy Hart said right after that match..... that the rematch clause would be excercised"!

J.R.: "Well they excercised it quickly and that rematch is comin' up next so don't go away"!

COMMERCIAL BREAK......

A COMMERCIAL FOR DEGREE ANTI-PERSPIRANT IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY A PREVIEW FOR THE MOVIE "OPEN WATER".

RETURN FROM BREAK..... RINGSIDE.....

AS RAMPAGE RETURNS, LA RESISTANCE IS IN THE RING WITH THEIR CANADIAN FLAGS AND JIMMY HART.

J.R.: "Welcome back to Rampage folks and we are about ready for an Anarchy Rulz return match"!

Jimmy Hart: (talking through megaphone) "We'd like all you great fans out there to stand in respect as we play the Canadian national anthem"!

THE FANS ALL GET UP.

Lawler: "Look at this J.R."!

J.R.: "The fans are up and on a side note King, the last time these two became champs it was in Canada that time".

THE ANTHEM STARTS TO PLAY BUT ONLY ABOUT 15 SECONDS THROUGH, THE NEW THEME FOR CENA AND PYROMANIA POUNDS OVER THE LOUDSPEAKERS AND THEY MAKE AN AWESOME, PYRO FILLED ENTRANCE WITH THEIR NEWLY WON TITLES AROUND THEIR WAISTS. STACY IS BY THEIR SIDE TOO BUT BECAUSE OF THE INTERRUPTION, MOST OF THE FANS ARE BOOING.

Lawler: "These people didn't like that! How dare they come out"?

J.R.: "Well judging by this reaction, La Resistance, the former champs are definitely the fan favorites tonight".

Rampage Tag Team Title Return Match

Challengers..... La Resistance w/ Jimmy Hart vs. Pyronomics w/ Stacy Kiebler

Before the bell sounded, La Resistance got the jump on the champions from behind and after tossing Pyromania to the floor, Grenier and Storm hit a double flajack on Cena. Referee Chad Patton then stepped in and forced Storm to his corner. Grenier made a quick exchange and the double teaming continued. But off an irish whip, Cena ducked a double clothesline and came back with a flying double clothesline of his own. He then tagged in Pyromania who picked his spots and lifted Storm onto his back but Grenier came with a shot from behind. But that drew Cena back in and he hit a samoan drop on Grenier and Pyromania connected with the "Pyrotechnics" on Storm, hooking the leg for the win.

Match Time: 2:45

J.R.: "For the second time in a row, Cena and Pyromania have defeated Jimmy Hart's boys and this time they seemed even more focused than they were at the pay-per-view"!

Lawler: "I agree J.R. and.... oh my gosh"!

JUST THEN, A MAN WEARING A GEORGE BUSH MASK CAME THROUGH THE CROWD AND PUSHED STACY INTO THE STEEL STEPS.

J.R.: "Oh my God! What the hell was that"?!

Lawler: "It seems George Bush is in Canada tonight J.R."!

J.R.: "Well I know we're hittin' election time but that was sure as hell not a good way to campaign and we both know what it really was! Someone is up to something"!

PYROMANIA AND CENA BOTH TENDED TO STACY AS EMT's BROUGHT A GURNEY DOWN THE AISLE.

Lawler: "This doesn't look good J.R.".

J.R.: "I just wanna know who would do such a thing and I wanna hear that Stacy is doing better later tonight"!

TWF RE-WIND

SHOWS SCOTT STEINER DEFEATING JAMAL ON UPRISING RIGHT BEFORE ANARCHY RULZ AND THE ATTACK FROM THE NETWORK POLICE THAT ENSUED.

THE BLARING SIREN SIGNALING THE NETWORK POLICE's ENTRANCE IS HEARD AND CYRUS THE VIRUS LEADS MR. MATURE OUT TO SOME SERIOUS HEAT.

Lawler: "Oh my gosh, where are my earplugs"?!

J.R.: "You just saw the beating handed out by the Network Police on Big Poppa Pump and I'll tell ya King, this situation is getting very serious".

"HOLLER IF YA HEAR ME" IS HEARD AND ANOTHER SIREN BLARES INTO SCOTT STEINER's MUSIC. HE COMES OUT TO A GOOD CHEER WEARING HIS CHAIN HEAD GEAR.

Lawler: "These people like the sound of this siren"!

J.R.: "I talked to Scott Steiner earlier today and he said he feels he is fighting a war with no help but I assured him, we're all on his side in this one"!

Lawler: "I'll even agree with that, I can't stand these guys"!

Scott Steiner vs. "Mr. Mature" Oliver Worth w/ Cyrus the Virus

Mr. Mature decided to use his deceptive quickness and outstanding yet little known amatuer background to battle Steiner. But the former University of Michigan standout was up to the task, showing he still has the great amatuer skills he always has. After catching Mature with a belly to back suplex, Steiner lined him up for the Steiner Line but Cyrus grabbed his foot. Steiner was able to easily shake him off but it provided Worth enough time to get up and get in some shots from behind. He then whipped Steiner to the ropes and put him down with a strong clothesline of his own. After going to the top rope, Worth came off with a flying elbow drop that was right on the money. He made the cover but Steiner got up after a 2 count. Steiner was staggered and Worth measured him up for his "Maturer" superkick. But Steiner avoided it and snatched Worth from around the neck, putting him down with the deathdrop DDT. Cyrus covered his eyes as Steiner topped him and hooked the leg for the 3 count.

Match Time: 4:18

J.R.: "Well there's one down! Freakzilla has defeated one cog of this annoying network"!

Lawler: "But look J.R..... up on the ramp"!

NATHAN JONES HAD COME OUT AND HE AND STEINER LOCKED EYES, NEITHER MAN MAKING A BLINK.

J.R.: "That is the Collossus of Bogo Road Nathan Jones who is known to the Network as the Enforcer of the Law"!

Lawler: "I don't know J.R., I don't know if Steiner wants that guy"!

J.R.: "Steiner is determined to rid the TWF of these phony Network Police.... at any cost"!

PRIOR TO COMMERCIAL..... BACKSTAGE....

STEPHANIE McMAHON IS TALKING TO ONE OF HER CREW MEMBERS IN THE BACK WHEN JOE COREY COMES UP AND INTERRUPTS THEIR DISCUSSION.

Joe Corey: "Excuse me".

Stephanie McMahon: "Can I help you"?

Corey: "Yeah Steph.... you can help me by giving me a rematch with that flash in the pan Shelton Benjamin"!

Steph: "Flash in the pan? Ya know Joe, I think you do deserve a rematch, but fact is, Carney is the new number one contender. So I'll go ahead and give you a chance to earn your way back into the mix".

Corey: "Anybody, I don't care, gimme anybody".

Steph: "Okay, well I'll give you A-Train as a tag team partner and you'll face the team of Carney and Shelton Benjamin".

Corey: "No problem, I'll be ready for that next week".

Steph: "Oh no.... not next week, that match is tonight and not only that.... it's next".

STEPH WALKS AWAY AS COREY LOOKS VERY AGITATED.

COMMERCIAL BREAK......

A COMMERCIAL FOR COKE C-2 IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY A PROMO FOR MELTDOWN FROM THE PYRAMID IN NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE.

RETURN FROM BREAK.... RINGSIDE....

WHEN RAMPAGE RETURNS, "LYING FROM ME" BY LINKIN PARK HITS AND JOE COREY COMES OUT WITH ALEXIS LAREE.

J.R.: "We're back here on Rampage folks and we are ready for a tag team match that was just made moments ago"!

Lawler: "Yeah and how fair is that J.R."?!

"LOOSE" BY EMINEM STARTS UP AND CARNEY RUNS OUT TO A GREAT CHEER.

J.R.: "Fair or not it's official because Stephanie McMahon calls the shots around here, not Joe Corey. He's letting his dictatorship in SMW carry over and it doesn't work like that".

Lawler: "First of all, he's great in SMW J.R. and not only that, he didn't demand a title shot, he simply asked for one against the flash in the pan"!

SHELTON BENJAMIN's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT TO A HUGE POP WITH THE KING OF CABLE TITLE AROUND HIS WAIST.

J.R.: "I've been saying since this guy was in SMW that he would be a huge success story here in the TWF and he is well on his way King! And I don't think this crowd agrees with your flash in the pan theory judging by their reaction"!

Lawler: "It's not my theory, it's Joe Corey's and let's face it J.R., Benjamin would lose that match ninety nine out of a hundred times.... he got lucky"!

J.R.: "Okay, well if it was so lucky, let's see Corey get the best of him tonight".

"The Show" Joe Corey and A-Train w/ Alexis Laree vs. Shelton Benjamin and Carney

The match started off with the 2 men who decided the turmoil match at Anarchy Rulz, A-Train and Carney. A-Train lunged at him but got nothing but air before Carney peppered him with a few quick shots and a stomp to the knee. But A-Train was not about to let Carney get the best of him again, catching him with the Pump Kick after he hit the ropes. Corey was tagged in and he began breaking Carney down, targeting his lower back. After a pendulum neckbreaker, Corey stretched Carney in a bow and arrow lock. Finally, Benjamin came in and broke the hold up with a stomp on Carney's head. But all that did was force referee Jose Mendez to force him back to his corner and Corey and A-Train to make an illegal switch. After another backbreaker, A-Train picked Carney up in a bear hug. The much smaller Carney was fading fast but when the crowd started to cheer him on, he used 2 ear claps to break the hold. After ducking a clothesline, he hit A-Train with a flying forearm that knocked him into the corner. Carney tagged out and Benjamin came in with a flying body splash on the 350 pounder. A-Train fell face first to the mat and Benjamin locked in a single leg crab deep. He had it cinched in when Corey entered the ring and kicked him right in the head to break it. Moments later, A-Train tagged Corey in and he went to the lower back just as he had done with Corey. Benjamin tried to fight back but each time, Corey slowed him down with a knee. But finally, Benjamin ducked a clothesline off an irish whip and turned the match around with a cactus clothesline. Both men were down and just as Benjamin was about to tag out, A-Train came in and pulled him back across the ring. Mendez was in A-Train's face when Carney came over with a dropkick that knocked him over the top rope and to the floor. Carney then used a flying plancha but Carney was caught in mid air and rammed into the steel ringpost. But in the ring, Benjamin came with a baseball slide that knocked the big man into the ring barricade. Benjamin had some words for A-Train but Corey came from behind with a forearm to the back and he rolled him up. With his free arm, he grabbed the middle rope for leverage and Mendez didn't see it, instead making the 3 count.

Match Time: 7:19

Lawler: "There it is J.R.! What do you have to say now"?!

J.R.: "What do I have to say? I say that Joe Corey just stole a win but ya know what, I know he's damn proud of it too"!

"LYING FROM ME" PLAYED AS A-TRAIN, COREY AND ALEXIS LEFT TO A LOT OF HEAT, SMILING AND LOOKING BACK.

Lawler: "Well one thing is for sure... it was luck at Anarchy Rulz! Benjamin is a flash in the pan"!

BACKSTAGE AREA.....

CAMERAS GO INTO THE BACK TO SHOW TODD GRISHAM WITH HIGH OCTANE.

Todd Grisham: "Great night so far here on Rampage and I am standing here with one of the six men who put their bodies on the line in that Hell in a Cell match at Anarchy Rulz. Now we know some controversy marred that match so High Octane, you were in there, who should be World champ right now, Kurt Angle or Justin Sane"?

High Octane: "Are you kidding me? You're asking me that? Was I one of the guys tapping out? Neither one of them should be champ Todd.... because I should. Yeah you heard me right! I should be champion! And you can mark my words, right 'em down, put 'em in the paper or whatever! I will stop at nothing to be World champion....... quote me".

HIGH OCTANE WALKS AWAY LEAVING GRISHAM SPEECHLESS.

BACK INSIDE THE ARENA, CHRISTIAN's MUSIC IS PLAYING AND HE IS IN THE RING.

Lawler: "Did you hear that J.R.? High Octane says he should be World champ"!

J.R.: "Yeah I heard it".

Christian: "All day long, no matter where I've gone, I've heard the same thing.... you tapped out.

CROWD GOES INTO A "YOU TAPPED OUT" CHANT.

I just can't believe I get that crap in my own homeland of Canada! No wonder why I live in Florida!

THE CROWD BOOS.

But Val Venis, this is far from over between us because you will never, not on your best day will you be able to make me tap out again! So you can take that as me calling you out or whatever.... I'm not leaving this arena tonight until you and I have it out again"!

"WE DON'T DIE" BY TWIZTED HITS AND JUSTIN SANE APPEARS ON THE RAMP WITH A MIC.

J.R.: "Well that's not Val Venis, it's the man who would be World champ"!

Justin Sane: "Ya know, I can't believe you have the nerve to come out here and complain when I had the moment that could've changed not only my career... but my life around. Ya see if you watch the tape from that Hell in a Cell match, I had Bradshaw tappin' before Angle had Nemesis!

SANE STARTS WALKING TOWARDS THE RING.

So do me a favor and shut your.....

JUST THEN, KURT ANGLE's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT TO SOME SERIOUS BOOS. WITH THE WORLD TITLE IN HIS HAND, HE IS WEARING ONE OF HIS OWN KURT ANGLE T-SHIRTS AND A PAIR OF WARM UP PANTS.

Kurt Angle: "Hold it right there guys. Christian, I think I have an idea that can help us both out here. Now I know you want to face Val Venis again tonight and I want to show this Justin Sane who the real World champion is! So how bout tonight, you and I team up to face the two of them"?!

CHRISTIAN NODS HIS HEAD.

Lawler: "It looks like Christian likes that idea"!

Angle: "And Justin Sane, once I make you tap out tonight, what's gonna be your excuse then"?!

ANGLE's MUSIC HITS AND CHRISTIAN JOINS HIM IN WALKING UP THE RAMP AS THEY ARE HEAVILY BOOED.

J.R.: "Well we now have a huge tag team match for later tonight King and I'll give Angle some credit, that could solve some problems"!

Lawler: "Oh definitely! Like he said, what will be the excuse this time"?!

J.R.: "Justin Sane has every right to come out here and question what happened at Anarchy Rulz King and what an oppurtnity tonight to show the Championship Committee that he can defeat Kurt Angle"!

Lawler: "Oh come on J.R., we both know that's not gonna happen".

J.R.: "I don't make gaurantees on things like that but I am a huge fan of Justin Sane's and he could begin to make himself a household name if he can get past guys like Angle but folks up next, Taylor Made will face Chuck Palumbo so stay right there !

Lawler: "Oh goodie...... that means Terri and Desire"!

COMMERCIAL BREAK......

A COMMERCIAL FOR CAPTAIN MORGAN IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY ONE FOR MILKY WAY.

RETURN FROM BREAK.... RINGSIDE....

AS RAMPAGE RETURNS, "LIKE A PIMP" BY DA BAND IS PLAYING AND THE CAMERA SHOWS TAYLOR MADE WALKING DOWN THE RAMP WITH TERRI AND DESIRE.

J.R.: "We're back here on Rampage and we thank you all for being here tonight as we have had one heck of a show with a huge tag team main event still on the way"!

Lawler: "Here comes my favorite superstar on all of Rampage though J.R., this guy is great"!

THE MUSIC OF CHUCK PALUMBO AND SHAWN STASIAK HITS AND THE 2 OF THEM COME OUT AND ARE GIVEN A DECENT CHEER.

J.R.: "Well I talked to Taylor earlier today backstage and believe it or not, he wants some credit for Carney winning that Turmoil match at Anarchy Rulz".

Lawler: "Well let me ask you something J.R., do you think Carney would've actually defeated A-Train if Taylor didn't pound him over the head with a steel chair right before that final match"?

J.R.: "I'm not gonna get into that debate King, let's just talk about the match. It's gonna be Chuck Palumbo and Taylor here and the bell just sounded".

Taylor Made w/ Terri and Desire vs. Chuck Palumbo w/ Shawn Stasiak

The two men locked up and Palumbo, the stronger of the two, whipped Taylor over his body to the mat. But Taylor used a headscissor to escape but when he got up, Palumbo tagged him with a right hand. Palumbo asked for Taylor to get up and when he did, he was all over him with more right hands. Taylor did his best to cover up but Palumbo picked him up for a fallaway slam. Palumbo then hit the ropes but missed with an elbow drop, opening the door for Taylor. The action continued at a non-stop pace until Palumbo ducked a swinging backhand and plastered Taylor with the Jungle Kick. But before he could make the cover, he looked out and saw Stasiak flirting with Terri and Desire. He had a few words with his partner but turned his back on his opponent and Taylor came from behind with the "Customizer" to get the 3 count.

Match Time: 9:51

J.R.: "Well I'll be damned! Taylor has snuck in another win here thanks to those two jezebels"!

Lawler: "Jezebels? Those two are what make Taylor tick J.R."!

AS "LIKE A PIMP" PLAYED IN THE BACKGROUND, PALUMBO AND STASIAK WERE IN A HEATED DISCUSSION.

J.R.: "Palumbo and Stasiak obviously aren't seeing eye to eye here but it cost Chuck a match tonight"!

Lawler: "That was a wild match J.R. and speaking of wild matches, what about that casket match at Anarchy Rulz"?!

STILL PICS OF THE CASKET MATCH ARE POSTED.

J.R.: "Goldust was eventually stuffed in his own custom made casket as The Undertaker went on to victory and who knows if will ever see Goldust around here again King".

Lawler: "I think if is the right word there"!

"IF I COULD BE LIKE MACK" HITS OVER THE LOUDSPEAKERS AND RODNEY MACK COMES OUT ALONG WITH THE LOVELY CRYSTAL CARMICHAEL.

J.R.: "Switching gears a little here, Rodney Mack will be in action against Billy Gunn, two men who were part of that Turmoil match won by Carney".

Lawler: "Rodney Mack ran into A-Train in that Turmoil match J.R. and I actually thought Mack would put him out but boy was I wrong"!

"I GOT IT ALL" HITS AND BILLY GUNN STEPS OUT TO A HUGE CHEER.

J.R.: "Billy Gunn still loved by the majority of the fans but as for Mack, he doesn't look to be too happy tonight King"!

Lawler: "And that spells trouble for Billy Gunn but when does he look happy J.R.? He'd have to have that frown surgically removed"!

Rodney Mack w/ Crystal Carmichael vs. Billy Gunn

Mack was all over Billy as soon as the bell sounded, swinging wildly with both arms. After 2 Dusty Rhodes like elbows, Mack whipped him to the corner and followed in but Billy caught him with a foot to the head. He then charged in but Mack grabbed him with 2 arms, looking for a belly to belly. But Billy countered with a haeadbutt followed by a big clothesline. Billy pulled him up and sent him for the ride but Mack held the top rope to stop his momentum as Billy crashed to the mat on his dropkick attempt. Mack quickly got down and locked Billy in the "Blackout", getting a quick submission.

Match Time: 4:27

J.R.: "That blackout is a devastating manuever and it was enough to get the win tonight"!

Lawler: "Billy Gunn was just victimized by the Michael Jordan of wrestling"!

MACK AND CRYSTAL LEFT TO HIS MUSIC AS BILLY TRIED TO GET TO HIS FEET.

J.R.: "Well I don't know if I buy all that but folks don't go away, we've still got our huge tag team match to come"!

COMMERCIAL BREAK......

A COMMERCIAL FOR SUBWAY IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY ONE FOR BRINKS HOME SECURITY.

RETURN FROM BREAK... RINGSIDE....

AS RAMPAGE RETURNS, SAM WILDE IS COMING DOWN THE AISLE TO A HUGE POP WITH HIS MUSIC PLAYING IN THE BACKGROUND.

J.R.: "We understand that before we get to our main event, Sam Wilde has been granted some time to conduct a victory speech"!

Lawler: "Victory speech? Is this a joke"?!

J.R.: "Sam Wilde is coming off a huge win over Mordecai at Anarchy Rulz, one in which he was told he had no chance to win".

Sam Wilde: "Thank you, thank you very much. Ya know, I'm happy to be standing here before you guys. But fact is, whether I beat Mordecai or not, I would still be out here. And that is because that even after I revealed what I did about myself, you guys have stood behind me. So right now, I wanna.....

JUST THEN, MORDECAI's MUSIC HITS AND HE SLOWLY COMES DOWN THE AISLE.

Lawler: "Oh no".

J.R.: "Here comes the pale rider and this is not a good spot for Sam Wilde".

MORDECAI SLOWLY GETS INTO THE RING WITH A DESTRUCTIVE LOOK ON HIS FACE. WILDE DROPS THE MIC, PREPARING TO GO AT IT BUT BEFORE ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN, NEMESIS RUNS OUT AND INTO THE RING. HE LOOKS AT BOTH MEN BEFORE TURNING AND KNOCKING MORDECAI DOWN WITH A RIGHT HAND BEFORE CLOTHESLINING HIM OUT OF THE RING AS THE CROWD ERUPTS.

Lawler: "What is this guy doing"?!

J.R.: "Nemesis, the former ally of Sam Wilde has come out here and bailed him out of what was about to be an ugly situation"!

Lawler: "Since when is this his business"?!

MORDECAI WALKED BACKWARDS UP THE AISLE, HOLDING THE BACK OF HIS HEAD AS WILDE AND NEMESIS LOOKED ON.

J.R.: "I don't know what to make of it"!

A PROMO FOR MELTDOWN IS RUN FEATURING THE BATTLE FOR 100% CONTROL OF PRIMETIME- RAVEN VS. SHANE McMAHON.

CHRISTIAN's MUSIC HITS AND HE IS MET BY SOME LOUD BOOS.

J.R.: "The match was made earlier tonight after this man came to the ring and it's about to happen"!

Lawler: "Well you gotta admit J.R., this was a good idea from our World champion, he's ready to get in the ring with the man who thinks he should have that belt"!

PYRO POUNDS OFF ON THE SET AS KURT ANGLE's MUSIC PLAYS. HE COMES OUT TO A MIXED REACTION BUT THE "YOU SUCK" CHANTS CAN BE HEARD.

J.R.: "Yeah, but not in a singles match, that's what we wanna see"!

VAL VENIS' MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES TO THE RING TO A GOOD CHEER.

Lawler: "But come on J.R., what does he owe Justin Sane? That's ridiculous! Joe Corey had to compete in a tag team match earlier to earn what he wants and now Justin Sane's gonna have to do the same"!

"WE DON'T DIE" BY TWIZTED PLAYS AND JUSTIN SANE POPS OUT TO A BIG POP.

J.R.: "The man that would be World champion and what an oppurtunity to make an impression on that championship committee here"!

Lawler: "He better take advantage of it J.R. cause who knows how many more he'll get"!

Kurt Angle and Christian vs. Justin Sane and Val Venis

Right off the bat, Christian attacked Venis from behind and hit him with several shots before charging him. But Val countered with a backdrop out of the ring as Sane tripped Angle up and pulled him outside the ring. All 4 men were brawling around the ringside area while referee Earl Hebner tried to get get them in. Christian and Venis toppled into the crowd as Angle reversed an irish whip and sent Sane into the stairs. Sane slowly got up and rolled into the ring but Angle was all over him. But Angle's shots began to have no effect on him and Sane finally blocked a right hand before drilling him with a shuffle kick to the chest. Christian got in the ring and clubbed Sane from behind. But Christian was nailed with a clothesline by Venis who then hit a big spinebuster off an irish whip. Angle got up but was very shaky as Sane laid into him with some knifedge chops. Venis came over and he and Sane lifted Angle up for a double suplex. But Christian was up and he tossed Venis over the top rope and to the floor. Sane followed that with a clothesline that took Christian over as well and he landed right next to Venis on the floor. But when Sane turned around, Angle lifted him up for the Angle Slam. After hitting hit, he pulled his straps down and hooked the leg for the 1......2........3.

Match Time: 5:53

Lawler: "Well so much for that oppurtunity! The way I see it, Angle just got rid of another challenge to his title"!

J.R.: "Angle has pinned Justin Sane but this match never really was a tag match but more like a back alley brawl"!

CHRISTIAN AND ANGLE LEFT TO A LOT OF BOOS AND ANGLE's MUSIC PLAYING.

Lawler: "Well regardless of the way the match went, those two men are your winners J.R.".

J.R.: "We're all out of time here folks so join us next time"!

COMMERCIAL BREAK.....
