The last show before MeltDown hit Freedom Hall in Louisville and more than 11,000 fans lined the arena to watch and the action started with Uprising that saw Christian battle Hurricane in it's main attraction. Victoria vs. Desire Victoria looked in tip top shape against one of Taylor Made's beauties and after ducking a clothesline, she kicked her in the stomach and hit the "Widow's Peak" for the win. Johnny Blaze w/ Teddy Long vs. Frankie Kazarian For about 6 minutes, these two young stars showed off their athletic ability and Blaze even used a standing shooting star press which was a thing of beauty. But when he couldn't get the 3 count, he began to argue with the referee as did Teddy Long and this allowed Kazarian to get up. After a running yakuza kick that cold cocked Blaze, Kazarian pulled him up for the "Wave of the Future" to get the pin. The Hurricane vs. Christian Fast paced action in this one but it ended controversally. After escaping the "Un-Prettier", Hurricane caught Christian with a big superkick and sent him to the corner. But Christian moved out of the way and rolled him up, putting his feet on the top rope to get the 3 count. The crowd got all over the referee for not seeing this. CHRISTIAN's MUSIC PLAYED AND HE LEFT LAUGHING TO MOSTLY BOOS. RAMPAGE GOES LIVE

Nathan Jones w/ Cyrus the Virus vs. Cyclone w/ The Hurricane The quicker Cyclone posed some problems for the Collossus of Bogo Road but after swatting away a dropkick, Jones caught him with a big clothesline. Then, like a shark smelling blood, Jones waited for him to get up and when he did, he struck him with a martial arts kick to the head that won him the match. The camera revealed blood coming from Cyclone's mouth and Hurricane came in to make sure he was okay as Jones and Cyrus walked away in victory. Match Time: 6:45 A PROMO FOR MELTDOWN IS SHOWN PREVIEWING THE MATCH BETWEEN SEAN O'HAIRE AND TRAVIS WAKEMAN. Nemesis and Sam Wilde vs. The Basham Brothers The Bashams started out in total control but Wilde caught Danny with a belly to belly suplex and tagged in Nemesis who came off the top rope with a clothesline and then the lights suddenly went out. When they came on, the Bashams were leaving and the crowd wondered aloud what was going on. COMMERCIAL BREAK....... RETURN FROM BREAK.... RINGSIDE.... A-Train vs. Shawn Michaels Michaels came out looking like his old self, getting the crowd hyped. But A-Train turned the tables with his Pump Kick. Michaels was able to hit a flying forearm moments later and then went to the apron, looking to sling himself in. That's when Christian came out and grabbed his foot. HBK shook him off and jumped at A-Train using the top rope. But the 350 pound A-Train caught him with 2 hands around the throat and put him down with the Baldo Bomb to pull off a mild upset. Christian left with a huge grin on his face. Match Time: 3:30 BACKSTAGE AREA..... TODD GRISHAM INTERVIEWS EDDIE GUERRERO ABOUT THE TRIPLE THREAT MATCH SIGNED FOR MELTDOWN AND AFTER LAST WEEK, EDDIE SEEMS MORE ANGRY WITH UNDERTAKER THAN HE DOES KURT ANGLE. AS JAMAL MAKES HIS WAY TO THE RING WITH CRYSTAL CARMICHAEL, J.R. ANNOUNCES THAT AT MELTDOWN, JAMAL AND ROSEY WILL CHALLENGE PYRONOMICS FOR THE RAMPAGE TAG TEAM TITLES. After reversing an irish whip to the corner, Jamal hit an avalanche splash followed by a throw up Samoan drop. But he could only get a 2 count. After another whip to the corner, Jamal went for a superkick but Pyro ducked it, kicked him low and hit the "Pyrotechnics" for the 1......2......3. Match Time: 2:41 COMMERCIAL....... A LINE OF 4 LOVELY WOMEN FOLLOW HIM OUT, AN OBVIOUS RUB IN THE FACE OF THE NETWORK POLICE. LAWLER ASKS STEINER ABOUT THE POSSIBILITY OF THIS BEING HIS LAST APPEARANCE ON RAMPAGE. BUT STEINER IS CONFIDENT HE'LL WIN THE CENSORSHIP MATCH AT MELTDOWN. HE THEN ASKS LAWLER IF HE STILL LIKES "PUPPIES" WHICH OBVIOUSLY HE DOES AND STEINER THEN SAYS "NETWORK POLICE, CENSOR THIS". JUST THEN, ALL 4 WOMEN PULL DOWN THEIR TOPS AND THE FANS GO ABSOLUTELY NUTS. BACKSTAGE.... A FIGHT BREAKS OUT WHEN VAL VENIS GETS SICK OF BRADSHAW's "STOCK MARKET ADVICE" AND SEVERAL MEMBERS OF SECURITY HAVE TO COME PULL THEM APART. BACK IN THE RING, A FIRED UP CARNEY, IN HIS HOMETOWN OF LOUISVILLE, CALLS OUT JOE COREY, KNOWING THAT HIS MATCH IS COMING UP. CARNEY SAYS HE's NOT LEAVING THE RING UNTIL COREY FACES HIM LIKE A MAN. COREY COMES OUT WITH ALEXIS LAREE AND TELLS CARNEY TO GET OUT OF THE RING AND INTO THE BACKSTAGE AREA, WITH ALL THE OTHER GUYS WHO DON'T BELONG ON T.V. BUT CARNEY DOESN'T REACT WELL TO THIS AND PUTS A BEATING ON CARNEY UNTIL OFFICIALS COME FROM THE BACK TO STOP IT. THE FANS GIVE CARNEY A HUGE POP AS HE LEAVES. "The Show" Joe Corey and Taylor Made w/ Alexis Laree, Terri and Desire vs. Shelton Benjamin and Justin Sane This was an absolutely fantastic tag team match in which Corey and Benjamin got multiple 2 counts on one another and Corey shook off the attack by Carney well. However, it was Sane and Taylor, enemies because of last week's incident, who would decide the outcome. After escaping the Straight Jacket when Terri put his foot on the rope, Taylor locked in an Indian Deathlock on Sane. Sane countered and went for a fisherman buster but Taylor punched him in the left side of his ribs and swung him around into the "Customizer" to snatch the win away. Match Time: 13:23 BACKSTAGE..... WHEN GRISH ASKS HIM TO ELABORATE, OCTANE SAYS HIS MASTER PLAN WILL COME OUT SOON. COMMERCIAL BREAK....... RETURN FROM BREAK.... RINGSIDE..... Undertaker vs. Eddie Guerrero The crowd was firmly behind both men during intros and both men were very tentative, looking for a way to attack. They took turns in control and Undertaker's size seemed to be propelling him to the win. But after ducking a backhand off an irish whip, Eddie connected with a dropkick to Taker's knee followed by a big DDT. Out came Kurt Angle, looking to get in some cheap shots before his big title defense and referee Earl Hebner quickly threw the match out. But then, Undertaker and Eddie joined forces against the champ and after Eddie's trifecta of suplexes, Taker delivered the Chokeslam from Hell. The fans were going crazy as Undertaker and Eddie looked at one another in a show of respect as the shot faded out. OFF AIR........
