February 11, 2005

The TWF visited one of it's favorite and one of the most revered wrestling cities in the U.S., Greensboro. The fans lined the streets waiting for the event and it all got started with Uprising.

Eddie Guerrero vs. "Mr. Mature" Oliver Worth

Guerrero had a bit of trouble with a determined Worth but he made him pay for dropping his head too soon with the 3 amigos suplexes. He then came off the top rope with the bone crunching Frog Splash to get the victory.

Jessica Lopez vs. Alex Miran

Miran tried to wrestle a slow, controlled match but Lopez caught her with a jumping spin kick and then a reverse DDT. That led to a lionsault but Miran got her knees up. She then lifted Lopez up in an electric chair but Lopez beautifully turned it into a victory roll to get the 1........2......3.

Christian vs. Mark Jindrak

Christian tried to bully the young Jindrak around, starting with a slap across the face. Jindrak fired back in anger but Christian was able to slow him down with an undetected mule kick. He then went for the "Un-Prettier" but Jindrak countered with a shove to the corner. He then charged in but Christian put up his foot and whipped him to the far corner. But the athletic Jindrak jumped on the top rope and came off with a reverse flying clothesline that Christian couldn't avoid and it led to the 3 count, one of the biggest wins of Jindrak's career.

The much smaller Jeter put forth a courageous effort, hitting Morgan with everything he had. Jeter was down and out and could not beat the 10 count to return, giving Morgan a count out victory.

TWF King of Cable Title Match

Challenger: Sam Wilde vs. "The Show" Joe Corey

Corey got off to an awful start and Wilde looked bound to become the new champion, getting multiple near falls. Corey whipped him to the corner but Wilde caught him with a back elbow as he charged in and then hit a tornado DDT which seemed to put Corey out cold. Corey was motionless as referee Chad Patton checked on him in concern. An EMT ran to the ring but he had a surgical mask on. With Patton's back turned, the EMT took his first aid kit and smashed Wilde over the head! Corey then got up and delivered the "Showstopper" to rescue his title from certain loss. After the match, Corey left with the EMT as fans tried to figure out what was going on.

Match Time: 6:20

BACKSTAGE......

KARAM IBRAHIM TELLS KURT ANGLE THAT HIS DESIRE IS TO BECOME A TWF STAR ON HIS OWN, NOT IN A TAG TEAM. BUT ANGLE SCOLDS HIM, SAYING HE'LL NEVER BE A STAR WITHOUT LEARNING HOW TO SUCCEED AND LEARNING HOW TO DO SO FROM HIM.

Trish Stratus and Victoria vs. Gail Kim and Alexis Laree

All four women took some serious punishment in a hard fought match. But they all showed their toughness by fighting through pain. As old rivals Gail Kim and Trish battled on the floor, Victoria whipped Alexis Laree to the corner and followed in with a clothesline but Alexis moved and then used a backslide along with putting her feet on the middle rope for the pinfall.

HE CHALLENGES HIM TO A CONTEST IN WHICH THEY WILL EACH HAVE A SINGLES MATCH TONIGHT AND NEXT WEEK, THE FANS OF THE TWF WILL DECIDE WHO WAS BETTER. BUT CITING THAT HE's BEEN SCREWED BY THE FANS BEFORE, PYRO SAYS HE'LL ACCEPT ON THE CONDITION THAT STACY PICK THE WINNER NEXT WEEK. CENA GIVES STACY A QUICK SMILE AND ACCEPTS.

John Cena vs. Danny Basham

Cena wanted to get the contest with Pyromania off on the right foot but Basham attacked him from behind and really took it to him. After a gutwrench suplex, Danny was in complete control. But he missed with a fist drop from the middle turnbuckle and Cena then ran through him with a diving shoulder block and after a 5 Knuckle Shuffle, he delivered the "F-U" to get the win.

Match Time: 5:05

BACKSTAGE......

EDDIE GUERRERO TELLS MATT CRUZ THAT NEXT WEEK, THEY WILL BE ABLE TO FINISH THEIR PROBLEMS WITH THE FORMER NETWORK POLICE BECAUSE STEPHANIE HAS BOOKED A 6 PERSON TAG TEAM MATCH INVOLVING THEM AND JESSICA LOPEZ AGAINST STEVEN RICHARDS, MR. MATURE AND ALEX MIRAN.

Kurt Angle and Karam Ibrahim vs. Simon Diamond and Johnny Swinger of SMW

The team from SMW, Diamond and Swinger seemed ready for the chance to shine on Rampage. But they ran into a juggernaut of a team as Angle and Ibrahim, with 2 Olympic gold medals between them, totally outclassed them. Angle hit a trio of german suplexes on Swinger as Ibrahim delivered a t-bone suplex to Diamond. Ibrahim then backdropped Swinger to the floor as Angle put Diamond down with an intense belly to belly before slapping on the Ankle Lock and Diamond tapped out. Angle then grabbed Ibrahim's arm and raised it along with his own, before yelling at the referee to do the same.

RETURN FROM BREAK.... RINGSIDE.....

Austin Pyromania w/ Stacy Kiebler vs. Doug Basham

Knowing he needed a strong performance to duplicate Cena's, Pyromania was all over Doug Basham early. But he got a little lacksadasical, knowing he had Stacy to do the selecting. This allowed Doug to get back into the match and he really slowed things down by taking the match to the mat. Every time Pyro did something to start some momentum, Doug responded with something to slow it down. Then, he knocked Pyro off the apron with a forearm shiver, one that sent rage through Pyro. He ordered the timekeeper out of his chair and although Stacy did all she could to stop him, Pyro slammed the chair over the head of Basham and referee Jose Mendez called for the bell, disqualifying Pyromania. Stacy was in disbelief.

Match Time: 5:31

A DEJECTED SAM WILDE IS SHOWN LEAVING THE ARENA WHEN HE COMES ACROSS A DISTRAUGHT LOOKING NEMESIS. WILDE TRIES TO GIVE HIS OLD FRIEND SOME WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT, BUT CAN'T EVEN GET A RESPONSE. WILDE LEAVES TELLING HIM TO LOOK TO THE BIBLE FOR THE ANSWERS HE NEEDS.

CITING THEIR STORIED PAST, WAKEMAN SAYS HE WANTS WM6 TO BE THEIR FINAL CHAPTER, SO A BURIED ALIVE MATCH, A TWF FIRST, HAS BEEN SIGNED. HE SAYS THAT AFTER WRESTLEMANIA, THE SHOW HE GOES TO PERMANENTLY WILL BE DECIDED IN THE LOTTERY THAT HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED FOR RIGHT AFTER WRESTLEMANIA. BUT HE IS CUT OFF BY THE LIGHTS TURNING OFF AND A BELL TOLLS 3 TIMES AS A FOG SETS INSIDE THE RING.

6 PACK CHALLENGE/#1 CONTENDER FOR THE KING OF CABLE TITLE

Taylor Made vs. Justin Sane vs. "High Octane" Damion West vs. Shane Helms vs. Carlito Caribbean Cool vs. Shelton Benjamin

This match featured 2 referees but the action was still hectic as these 6 men fought tooth and nail for a shot at the title. Justin Sane effectively took Carlito and High Octane out with a suicide dive outside the ring. Problem was, he took himself out with it too. In the ring, Benjamin went for the Stinger Splash on Helms but Helms moved and caught him with a crushing superkick. But Helms then walked right into the waiting arms of Taylor Made who delivered the "Customizer" and hooked the legs for the 1........2........3.

TAYLOR CELEBRATED HIS WIN AS "LIKE A PIMP" BY DA BAND PLAYED AND THE SHOT FADED OUT.
