The last time the stars of Rampage were in Seattle, fans were treated to 4 King of the Ring qualification matches. Still one of the TWF's favorite venues, Rampage returned with their first show after the blockbuster event MeltDown.
The Bashams vs. Nick Berk and Adam Flash (invitees) The tandem not employed by the TWF made the most of their oppurtunity in the spotlight, really giving Doug and Danny a run for their money. But after Flash was backdropped out of the ring, Doug delivered his flying leg lariat to Berk to get the win for his team. Jason Oliver vs. Mideon (invitee) Former TWF European champion Mideon got invited to compete against one of the young guns of the Horsemen and Oliver took away any chance he may've had when he caught him coming off the ropes with a kick sqaure in the face. He then delivered the "Tiger Fang" and it was over. Steven Richards vs. Viscera Richards did everything he could to take the 500 pounder off his feet but when he ran into a wheel kick from the big man, it did all but turn the lights out. Vis then followed that with the organ-busting splash and that led to the victory. VISCERA HAD SOME FUN WITH THE FANS AS THE CREW GOT THE STAGE SET UP FOR RAMPAGE. RAMPAGE GOES LIVE AS RAMPAGE COMES ON THE AIR, A VIDEO RECAP IS SHOWN FROM MELTDOWN AS "OUTTA CONTROL" BY 50 CENT PLAYS. THE PACKAGE INCLUDES BRET HART ACCEPTING KURT ANGLE's OPEN CHALLENGE AND THEN LOCKING IN THE SHARPSHOOTER WHEN HE TRIED TO ATTACK HIM AFTER THE MATCH, CARNEY TURNING ON HIS OWN TEAM AND BECOMING THE FOURTH HORSEMEN, JAMAL AND ROSEY TAKING BACK THE TAG TEAM TITLES, TRAVIS WAKEMAN FENDING OFF THE CHALLENGE OF HIS BROTHER BUT THEN CALLING A TRUCE AFTER THE MATCH. THE PACKAGE ENDS WITH DREW BLOOD DEFEATING JOHN CENA TO ONCE AGAIN BECOME WORLD CHAMPION. THE SHOT OPENS INSIDE KEY ARENA AND THE FANS ERUPT IN CHEERS WHEN BRET HART's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT TO A WILD REACTION. Jim Ross: "We are live for TWF Rampage from Seattle and fans, don't adjust your television sets, that is Bret Hart coming to the ring"! Jerry Lawler: "I still can't believe it J.R.! Not only did Bret accept the open challenge of Kurt Angle at MeltDown, but he won the match"! J.R.: "That was one of the finest exhibitions of wrestling I have personally ever seen but the match ended in Kurt Angle taking a deliberate count out and I know I'm not alone when I say I wanna see more"! Bret Hart: "It sure as heck feels good to be back in this ring! THE FANS LOUDLY CHEER I showed up at MeltDown to face Kurt Angle but I did so knowing it wouldn't be my last match! This is what I do, it always has been and for me to be kept out of this ring, someone's gonna have to kill me! That's why I have decided to sign a full fledged TWF contract to compete regularly right here on Rampage"! THE CHEERS FROM THE CROWD ARE AT A FEVERED PITCH. J.R.: "Alright"! Lawler: "Wait a minute, it's Angle"! BRET TURNS HIS BACK TO THE ENTRANCE LONG ENOUGH FOR ANGLE TO COME FROM BEHIND AND ATTACK HIM. J.R.: "Angle's all over the Hitman like a rabid dog! My God somebody stop this"! AFTER A VICIOUS ATTACK, ANGLE PUTS ON THE ANKLE LOCK, REFUSING TO LET GO. WHEN HE FINALLY DOES, HE HAS A CRAZED LOOK IN HIS EYES AND THE CROWD IS ALL OVER HIM WITH BOOS. BRET IS IN A LOT OF PAIN. J.R.: "Get over it Angle! You lost! If you can't accept it, challenge him to a rematch you no good son of a........ Lawler: "Okay, okay J.R., we don't want to get the censors out tonight, we get the point". ANGLE LOOKS ON FROM THE TOP OF THE RAMP WITH A SICK GRIN ON HIS FACE AS THE CROWD STILL BOOS. J.R.: "He's a no good son of a bitch, excuse my language"! BACKSTAGE AREA.... KARAM IBRAHIM AND MATT CRUZ ARE SHOWN BACKSTAGE. Matt Cruz: "I took your advice, homey. I had J.R. fly to Denver to do an in depth interview with me. You said I had to talk about what I was hiding, and now I'm going to do just that".
Karam Ibrahim: (his eybrows raise): "Wow, you really did it. Are you sure you want to air your dirty laundry in front of millions of people"?
Cruz: (sighs, looks down at the floor and looks up) Sabes que, Egypt? I've had things done to me I would love nothing more than to forget. I've done things to people I'm ashamed of, that still haunt me. I thought I could run away and hide from my past. That's the thing about the past, she doesn't let go. Now I got people coming up to me and judging me for something they don't even know about. I figure this is the best way for people to know what I'm all about and for me to move on and not be held back by it anymore".
Ibrahim: "Well, you do what you gotta do, man. I got your back". THE TWO KNOCK FISTS AS THE SHOT FADES OUT. COMMERCIAL BREAK....... A COMMERCIAL FOR UPS IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY ONE FOR THE HURRICANE RELIEF FUND, CALL 1-800-HELP-NOW. RETURN FROM BREAK..... BACKSTAGE..... RAMPAGE RETURNS TO FIND KURT ANGLE IN THE BACK TALKING TO DEREK DARKO. Kurt Angle: "Did you see what I just did to Bret Hart?! That's how you make a freakin' impact around here buddy"! JUST THEN, STEPHANIE McMAHON COMES UP WITH AN ANGRY LOOK ON HER FACE. Stephanie McMahon: "Well I sure as hell saw it and now it's time to make an impact of my own! Kurt, you've left me no choice other than to suspend you for one month..... without pay"! Angle: "What?! You can't do that to me! I'm an Olympic gold medalist! I....... Stephanie: "You heard me Kurt. Now leave the building before I have to call security"! ANGLE BEGINS TO BACK OFF, POINTING AT STEPHANIE. Angle: "A month? You're gonna regret this sweetheart". BACK TO THE RING, GARRISON CADE AND MARK JINDRAK ARE SHOWN GETTING LOOSE. J.R.: "Tag team action on tap here as Cade and Jindrak are going to take on one of the new teams here on Rampage". A NEW ENTRANCE THEME HITS AND JIMMY HART COMES OUT WITH BOTH MAX OGDEN AND SYLVAIN GRENIER. HE HAS HIS MEGAPHONE AND IS WEARING A JACKET WITH THE FACES OF BOTH MEN ON THE BACK. Lawler: "We saw this tag team form a couple weeks ago J.R. and with Jimmy Hart at the controls, I expect big things out of them". J.R.: "Jimmy Hart has made his name managing great tag teams and I gotta agree King. If he can get these two very different men to co-exist, they could climb to the top of the ranks in the tag team division". Garrison Cade and Mark Jindrak vs. The Hart Family w/ Jimmy Hart The match started out with Cade and Ogden and the two exchanged some basic wrestling holds in some crisp action. After missing with a clothesline, Ogden caught a kick to the stomach followed by a big dropkick. He then shot Ogden to the corner and followed in with with a clothesline. He tried to whip him to the other side but Ogden reversed it right into a stiff back elbow. He then made the tag to Grenier who came in and drove a couple knees into the gut of Cade before hitting the ropes but Cade responded with a clothesline. He then made the tag to Jindrak who went to the top rope and flew off with a clothesline that connected and he made the cover but Ogden came in to break it up. Jindrak tried to come over and give Ogden a shot but Grenier grabbed him from behind and dropped him with a backdrop suplex. After two big elbows, he held the feet of Jindrak and tagged in Ogden who shot himself over the top rope from the apron with a slingshot legdrop. He made the cover and got the 1........2......, but that was it. Ogden whipped Jindrak to the ropes but dropped his head too soon and Jindrak caught him with a kick to the face before dropping him with a left hook. Ogden looked like he was out but Jindrak made the tag to Cade who went for the cover only to have Grenier come in to break it up. Jindrak came back in and got Grenier with a dropkick but when he went for one on Ogden, he ducked and Jindrak hit his own partner with it. Ogden went to the apron after throwing Jindrak over the top rope and Grenier pulled Cade in as Ogden jumped off to complete a spike piledriver. Grenier rolled Cade over and made the cover as referee Chad Patton issued the 3 count. Match Time: 8:00 J.R.: "They call that move the Hart Attack and I can't see anyone getting up from that"! Lawler: "Keep your eye on this team folks, they look good"! JIMMY HART COMES INTO THE RING AND CONTINUALLY YELLS "OGDEN AND SYLVAIN BABY" AS THEIR MUSIC PLAYS. J.R.: "Jamal and Rosey just became the new champions at MeltDown but they might have some new competition here". BACKSTAGE....... MYSTICAL IS SHOWN BACKSTAGE WHEN MATT HARDY AND JOHNNY JETER COME UP. Matt Hardy: "Hey Mystical, we have a match tonight". Mystical: "I know that and that little tramp Stacy Snow is in it". Hardy: "Well don't worry about her because you have the force of Mattitude behind you, you'll be fine". MATT WALKS AWAY BUT JETER STOPS AND TURNS BACK TO HER. Johnny Jeter: "You probably won't even break a nail". Mystical: "Ugh". Rob Storm vs. Derek Darko These two picked up where they left off a few weeks ago with a great match. In that match, Darko called out Storm for being an "underachiever", only to be beaten by him. This time, Darko made sure to dish out plenty of pain, working on the lower back of Storm. After a delay vertical suplex, he went for the cover but Storm was able to kick out at 2. Storm then began to mount a comeback after a jab to the midsection followed by a quick once on his feet. He hit the ropes but Darko lifted him up and spun around, dropping him to the mat with a sideslam. He hooked both legs and nearly got the 3 count. Darko lifted him up to the top turnbuckle, looking for a superplex. But Storm pushed him to the mat and flew off with a crossbody block but Darko caught him in mid air and turned it into a powerslam but Storm once again refused to be pinned. Darko pulled him up and slung him to the corner but Storm used the ring ropes to sling over him into a Jack Briscoe sunset flip to get the 3 count, stunning Darko. Match Time: 12:01 J.R.: "What a clever manuever by Rob Storm, using a move Jack Briscoe made famous to get the win"! Lawler: "Well it certainly appears that Canada's favorite son, as he likes to call himself, has Darko's number"! THE CANADIAN NATIONAL ANTHEM PLAYED AS STORM LEFT TO A GOOD CHEER, LEAVING A FRUSTRATED DARKO IN THE RING AS A PROMO GRAPHIC POPS UP WITH CARNEY ON ONE SIDE AND REY MYSTERIO ON THE OTHER. J.R.: "Still to come tonight, Carney has to step into the ring with one of the men he turned on at MeltDown! It's Carney and Mysterio and it's tonight"! BACKSTAGE..... CAMERAS IN THE BACK SHOW KARAM IBRAHIM WHEN AN APPLE COMES ROLLING ACROSS THE FLOOR AND CARLITO COMES AND PICKS IT UP. Carlito: "Oops, sorry I dropped it. Oh look, it's the guy who won the Olympic gold medal for Egypt. Didn't you used to be an underwear model or something". Karam Ibrahim: "What do you want"? Carlito: "Well it turns out that I have a little advice for you. Your friend Matt Cruz, if that is his real name, he's.... he's not good for you man. And if you want to see your career go down the tubes, just keep hanging around him. Now would that be cool"? CARLITO WALKS AWAY AS IBRAHIM LOOKS DEEP IN THOUGHT. COMMERCIAL BREAK...... A COMMERCIAL FOR PURINA DOG CHOW IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY ONE FOR ENERGIZER BATTERIES. RETURN FROM BREAK..... The shot opens on a close up of a title belt; it's obvoiusly beat up, so the logo
is almost non-existent. The camera slowly pulls back to show a well muscled
wrestler holding the title belt. The wrestler looks at the belt, and throws
it in a pile of other title belts.
Wrestler: "RWI TV Title. Won in Oct. 2002...never lost.
The wrestler picks up another, much more ornate belt and looks at it.
UWP Grand Championship. Won in Dec 1996...retired in 1998 because
no one could beat me, and the United Wrestling Promotion closed up shop.
The wrestler picks up yet another title, shaking his head as he inspects it.
JRWO Heavyweight Champion of the world. Won in June 1996, never
lost.
The Wrestler holds up another title.
RWI World title. Won in Feb. 2002...never lost. You see, you would
think that if you won eighty-seven titles, that you must have lost eighty-seven times...these(Points to pile of title belts) are the belts that were retired,
or they couldn't beat me for, or couldn't keep any quality talent in the
federation to go at it with me, so I would take the title with me and go to
another one.
The Wrestler drops the titles and stands up.
Just in case you haven't caught on, my name is Mackenzie
Rose... I've got more hardware than your local ACE... more gold than Flavor
Flav, and God help the wrestler that holds a title in the TWF, because you can
pick up your punk card along with the loser's share of the purse when I take
your title, just like the eighty-seven other beltless victims"!
Rose walks off camera, and the shot zooms in to focus on the pile of title belts before fading out. BACK INSIDE THE RING, DREW BLOOD IS SHOWN WITH HIS NEWLY WON WORLD TITLE. WITH HIM IS AN UNKNOWN, RATHER LARGE MAN IN BLACK TIGHTS. J.R.: "Mackenzie Rose is coming to Rampage fans and he sounds mighty impressive"! Lawler: "Has he really won eighty-seven titles"?
Drew Blood: "John Cena... the champ is here!!! But the fact that you can't say that you're the champ any more is your fault. You have no one to blame but yourself. You try to pretend that you live a hip-hop, gangsta wannabe lifestyle. You inject yourself with unknown substances. We both know that you were on something at Meltdown! We even saw the syringe in your arm... I think it is time for you to get cleaned up. You don't act like a champ...and thats why the champ is now...here...on the darkside"! J.R.: "Oh that's ridiculous! Anyone who saw MeltDown knows what happened"! Drew Blood: "But now let's move on to other business. You are looking at Paul Birchill, my personal doctor. He is ready to show the world what he is capable of doing to someone who is not under his care"! THE MAN GRABS THE MICROPHONE. Paul Birchill: (with a thick British accent) "Like he said, my name is Paul Birchill. I have come to the TWF for one thing and one thing only, to mame anyone who poses a threat to this man (points to Drew Blood) and his quest to be the best wrestler in the history of the TWF"! "WE DON'T DIE" BY TWIZTED HITS AND JUSTIN SANE COMES OUT, SIZING UP HIS OPPONENT. J.R.: "We have finally learned the identity of the man behind the surgical mask that has been hanging around with Drew Blood, take a look at the size of this guy King"! Lawler: "He's easily six five or six six J.R., wow"! J.R.: "Justin Sane to provide the opposition here.... good luck to him". Paul Birchill w/ Drew Blood vs. Justin Sane Justin Sane came at the big man but wasn't able to even budge him. Birchill fended him off with a high knee lift before crushing him with a clothesline and kicking him right in the shoulder. He went for an irish whip but Sane reversed it and followed in with a flying calf kick in which the momentum took him over the top rope. But he landed on the apron only to have Birchill headbutt him and then slam his right arm over the top of the steel ring post. Sane screamed in pain as Birchill brought him into the ring with a suplex. From there, he went to the top rope and flew off with a kneedrop right on the same hurt shoulder. Sane squirmed in pain before Birchill locked in a high angle fujiwara armbar and Sane was immediately tapping out. Match Time: 3:57 J.R.: "What a crippling move by this guy Birchill! He could've broken his arm"! Lawler: "This doctor seems to know how to really hurt someone"! DREW BLOOD's MUSIC PLAYED AS HE WALKED OFF WITH BIRCHILL, WHO HAD BARELY BROKEN A SWEAT. J.R.: "I have a feeling that if you want to get to Drew Blood, you'll have to go through this guy first and that might not be possible"! BACKSTAGE....... CAMERAS IN THE BACK HAVE PICKED UP A CATFIGHT THAT HAS ERUPTED FOR UNKNOWN REASONS BETWEEN MELINA AND CRYSTAL CARMICHAEL. J.R.: "What the hell is this?! Seperate these two"! Lawler: "Oh let 'em go"! OFFICIALS ARE TRYING TO BREAK THE WOMEN UP BUT CAN'T. FINALLY, JAMAL AND ROSEY COME UP AND PULL CRYSTAL AWAY BEFORE HOLLYWOOD HEAT ENTERS THE SHOT AND GETS MELINA. Melina: "What's your problem bitch"?! Jamal: "Keep her away"! Joey Mercury: "Hey, if you two could get away from the dinner table long enough, you could keep better track of her"! MERCURY AND BLAZE PULL MELINA AWAY AS CRYSTAL CHECKS TO SEE IF SHE's BLEEDING. Rosey: "That punk will regret that". Mixed Gender Tag Shelton Benjamin and Stacy Snow vs. Matt Hardy and Mystical w/ Johnny Jeter Snow and Mystical started the match and Mystical was very reluctant to lock up with the fiery new diva. Once they finally did, Mystical complained of hair pulls twice. As referee Jack Doan warned Stacy about the hair, Mystical kicked her in the gut and took advantage from there, ramming the back of her head into the mat. After tagging in Matt, Benjamin was forced to come in. He beat Matt to the punch and knocked him into the corner with 3 consecutive right hands before chopping his chest with a knifedge. Benjamin then whipped him to the corner but posted his right shoulder when Matt moved. Matt then hit the Side Effect and went to the middle rope, looking for the teardrop legdrop. But Benjamin rolled out of the way and Matt landed seat first on the mat. Benjamin hit the ropes but Jeter reached in and grabbed his foot. This brought Stacy around and she dropped Jeter with a forearm shiver. Mystical tried to come over but Stacy ducked a clothesline before driving her back first into the ring apron. In the ring, Benjamin had Hardy set up for the t-bone but Matt dropped down to one knee and lowblowed him. He then bounced off the ropes but Benjamin got up and threw a kick. Matt caught his foot and tried to spin him around but Benjamin cracked him with the dragonwhip kick. He then made it to his corner and tagged in Stacy who went around and rolled Mystical into the ring. But Jeter got up and grabbed her foot. This time, Doan saw it and he yelled at him to release her which he did but he then distracted Doan long enough for Matt to come back in and deliver the "Twist of Fate" to Stacy. He then knocked Shelton off the apron as Mystical hooked the leg of Snow to get the 1......2......3 from Doan. Match Time: 11:06 J.R.: "Come on ref, what the hell was that"?! Lawler: "I can't believe it! Matt Hardy just delivered a Twist of Fate to Stacy Snow"! MYSTICAL WALKED UP THE RAMP LOOKING BACK AND HOLDING THE WOMEN's TITLE BELT UP WITH BOTH HANDS AS JETER AND HARDY FOLLOWED, THE KING OF CABLE TITLE OVER HARDY's SHOULDER. IN THE RING, BENJAMIN KNELT DOWN TRYING TO HELP STACY UP. J.R.: "Yeah what a guy Matt Hardy is, just a class act! I'm sure Shelton Benjamin remembers this when Matt has to defend that King of Cable title against him"! COMMERCIAL BREAK....... A COMMERCIAL GATORADE IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY ONE FOR PIZZA HUT. RETURN FROM BREAK..... AS RAMPAGE RETURNS, CAMERAS ARE FOCUSED ON JIM ROSS AND JERRY LAWLER AT THEIR BROADCAST POSITION. J.R.: "Welcome back to Rampage fans. TWF MeltDown will go down as one of the biggest events we've ever seen here in the TWF King with both the stars of Rampage and PrimeTime being involved but King, here on Rampage, we had a situation get settled in unforgettable fashion". STILL PICTURES ARE SHOWN FROM THE TRAVIS WAKEMAN-D.W. JONES MATCH FROM MELTDOWN. Lawler: "I would've never guessed it would end this way J.R.. D.W. Jones actually told that guy Zues not to get involved but after the match, after Wakeman had defeated his brother, we saw the two embrace each other like two brothers should, truly shocking". J.R.: "In the end it was that family that was stronger than anything, truly a great moment". BACKSTAGE......
TODD GRISHAM IS SURROUNDED BY ALL 4 HORSEMEN AS THE SHOT GOES BACKSTAGE.
Money Mike: "The time for mourning is over people, the time for a higher
expectation has arrived. Ya see i told everyone from the start that when i
got into the TWF that I was gonna shake things up, I was gonna bring with
me
my legacy of dominance, and up till this point people, I'm still undefeated. Though most of you haven't seen me against
your so called franchise or icons, it's still the fact that I've yet to
receive a defeat.
The victory over Shawn Michaels was bascially my stepping stone into the
TWF top tier. Ya see now that I've got everyone's attention, it's
time to move forward with how things are gonna work around here on
Rampage. About twenty one years ago
I began watching this sport, over that time I've done nothing but dreamed
of it, growing up watching the Four Hoursemen gave me a dream that would
last up till now. What you people dont realize is that upon my acceptence
into the TWF, I brought with me my
vision for a better Rampage, my dream of being the best ever in the TWF
and my devasting track record of doing some of the most unimaginable things
ever. I like to call it the element of surprise. At MeltDown the wrestling
world saw one thing, that was once
again my word standing tall. Rey Rey and his good buddy Octane fell victim
for the last time to the Horsemen and with that fall rose a new beginning,
that beginning starts now so without further adieu, ladies and gentlemen,
please welcome the fourth horsemen, Carney".
J.R.: I still can't believe this".
MM: "Carney the pleasure is all ours". (boos and cheers are heard)
Carney: "Thank you Money Mike and the rest of you guys, see fans when Mike
approached me with this idea, I knew it was too good to be true and I knew
that if I didn't follow my heart and join my destiny that it would be too
late for me".
MM: "Now that we are four, there's just one other thing that we need to take
care of, so with that, would my lucious baby girl like to come over here so
we can get something out in the open". STEPHANIE McMAHON COMES INTO THE SHOT. Stephanie: "What is it"?
MM: "Now sweetie before anything is said, might I say you are looking quite
appetizing tonight". (Fans cheer)
Steph: "I don't have time for games Mike".
MM: "Baby, there's not a lot of things you will like, you'll just have to deal
with it, so right now Mr. Corey, front and center sir".
Joe Corey: "What's up Money"?
MM: "Ya know how I said a few days ago that you and I, no matter what
happened at MeltDown, would be receiving a shot at the tag team titles"?
Corey: "Yeah"
MM: "Well I've got something even better for you, ya see last night at
MeltDown when I disappeared for a bit, I well, well I strolled over to Ms.
Steph's office and well made a proposal to her. I offered to her the chance
to live her dream,
if we lost at MeltDown, I would disassemble the Horsemen. But if we won at MeltDown, she would have no choice but to finally
give the Horsemen their shot at World title gold, so ya see with your
pinfall at MeltDown, I've decided
that you Mr. Sorey will be the one representing the Horsemen not at a pay-per-view,
but next week on Rampage in a TWF championship match against Drew Blood"!
JR: "What"?!!!
Corey: "Are you kidding me"?
MM: "Steph am I kidding him"?
Steph: "No he is not" (rolling her eyes)
Corey: "Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa"!
MM: "Next week people you will see a change in the winds, the Horsemen will
ride high, a champion will emerge and Joe Corey will get what's been coming
to him for a very long time and help us put the Horsemen back on the map,
so in the words of the
greatest Horsemen ever, wooooooooooooooo"!
THE HORSEMEN WALK AWAY AS GRISHAM LOOKS VERY SURPRISED. BRADSHAW's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT WEARING HIS USUAL WHITE COWBOY HAT TO A LOT OF HEAT. Lawler: "So we're gonna have a World title match next week"?! J.R.: "It certainly sounds that way"! Lawler: "Wow, I know where I'd be next week for Rampage if I didn't work here"! "GET OFF MY TRACKS" BY P.O.D. HITS AND SMOKE BILLOWS FROM EACH SIDE OF THE ENTRANCE RAMP AS STRIFE COMES OUT TO A GOOD REACTION. J.R.: "Two of the big hosses here on Rampage are gonna lock horns here as Bradshaw takes on Strife, two guys who would like to get into that World title picture themselves". Lawler: "These two have had several matches both in singles and tag team action in the past but I gotta go with Bradshaw tonight". J.R.: "And why is that"? Lawler: "Do I need a reason, it's just one of my royal predictions"! J.R.: "And we know how those usually turn out". Bradshaw vs. Strife The bell sounded and the two men locked up and it was Bradshaw who grabbed the near 7 footer in a standing side headlock. Strife pushed him to the ropes and sent him for the whip, knocking him to the mat with a shoulder tackle. He then pulled him and and whipped him to the corner but Bradshaw came out and drilled him with a clothesline as he ran in. Bradshaw then delivered 2 big elbows before making a cover but Strife was up at 2. Both men continued to trade shots like heavyweight boxers but after hitting the ropes, Bradshaw ran into a big boot to the face. Strife made the cover but Bradshaw kicked out just in time. From there, he lifted him up to the top rope, looking to hit the Derailer, the flip over slam fans haven't seen forever. But Bradshaw countered with 2 clubbing forearms to the chest before using his knee to ride Strife face first into the mat. Bradshaw made the cover but Strife was up at 2 and a half. Bradshaw pulled him up and smashed him with 2 more right hands that knocked him into the ring ropes. He then hit the ropes again but Strife backdropped him over the top rope and to the floor, a disqualification in the old days of wrestling. Referee Jose Mendez asked Strife to get away from the ropes before he gave Bradshaw a 10 count. As Mendez started to count, Bradshaw reached into his tights and loaded his fist with a pair of brass knucks. Strife tried to reach through the ropes and grab him but Bradshaw blasted him with the knucks, knocking him flat to the mat. Mendez looked surprised at the impact of the shot but had no choice but to make the 3 count when Bradshaw came back in. Match Time: 6:10 J.R.: "Are you kidding me?! Bradshaw had the damn knucks"! Lawler: "But the ref didn't see it J.R. and as a result, Strife is lookin' up at the lights"! BRADSHAW's MUSIC PLAYED AS HE WALKED AWAY, LOOKING LIKE THE MAN WHO LOST THE MATCH. IN THE RING, STRIFE LOOKED LIKE HE HAD NO CLUE WHERE HE WAS. J.R.: "Well you can bet that Bradshaw won't get rid of Strife that easily, he'll be hearing about this sometime"! BACKSTAGE...... TODD GRISHAM IS SHOWN STANDING WITH AUSTIN PORTEAU AND MISS HANCOCK. Todd Grisham: "Austin, you've asked for this time, what...... Austin Porteau: "That's Mr. Porteau Todd. Anyway, I couldn't help but notice all the attention Travis Wakeman has been getting for his match with D.W. Jones at MeltDown. I am here to tell you that it was an absolute disgrace". Grisham: "Uh, please explain". Porteau: "Simple, when I came to the TWF, Wakeman was a man I looked up to probably more than anyone and that is mainly because he didn't care who he upset, who didn't like him, or who did like him for that matter. He was someone who was all about himself and his career. The old Wakeman wouldn't have hugged his brother the other night. No, he would've kicked him when he was down". Grisham: "So what are you saying"? Porteau: "I'm saying that next week, right here on Rampage, I want to talk to Travis Wakeman, man to man. I have an offer to make him. Come on, let's go". PORTEAU SMILES AT GRISHAM AS HE AND MISS HANCOCK WALK OFF. J.R.: "What kind of offer"? COMMERCIAL BREAK..... A COMMERCIAL FOR MASTERCARD IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY ONE FOR TWF FIGURES. RETURN FROM BREAK.... AS RAMPAGE RETURNS, A PROMO GRAPHIC IS SHOWN WITH JOR COREY AND ALEXIS LAREE ON ONE SIDE AND DREW BLOOD WITH PAUL BIRCHILL ON THE OTHER. J.R.: "Fans we just found out about it moments ago, next week on Rampage, it'll be Joe Corey and Drew Blood, one on one for the World title"! THE HORSEMEN THEME HITS AND CARNEY COMES OUT TO THE LOUDEST BOOS ALL NIGHT. Lawler: "I can't wait for that J.R. but I also can't wait for this! Carney's first match as a member of the Horsemen"! J.R.: "Well for those of you who didn't see it, Carney made one of the low down, dirty moves I have ever seen at MeltDown when he turned on his own teammates in order to join the Horsemen"! "619" HITS AND REY MYSTERIO POPS UP FROM UNDER THE RAMP TO A HUGE POP, HE HAS A DETERMINED LOOK IN HIS EYES. Lawler: "And tonight we find out if it was a good move or not"! J.R.: "No matter what happens it wasn't a good move King! Ya sell out your friends for what? Fame, fortune? I'm sorry but I'll take my friends in that case"! Lawler: "What friends J.R.? I'm sorry, it was a joke. But Carney is like O for the century! He hasn't won a match since Clinton was President"! J.R.: "Oh come on, he has been on a losing streak but I once thought of him as one of the brightest stars in the TWF. That opinion has obviously changed"! Carney vs. Rey Mysterio The match started with Carney acting like he was going to shake Rey's hand. Rey never went for it and Carney just laughed. But after turning away from him for a split second, Rey surprised him with a kick to the midsection followed by a whip to the ropes and a hip toss. Carney tried to sit up but Mysterio kept him down with a basement dropkick. He then pulled him up and shot him to the corner but Carney kicked him right in the face before delivering a jumping bulldog. From there, he slid Rey stomach first on the mat and he slid under the ring ropes, landing chest first on the floor. Carney then went to the top rope and dove onto Rey, taking him out but also getting a bit of the impact himself. Both men got back into the ring and Carney put the boots to Rey but when he whipped him to the ropes, Rey hit his wheelbarrow bulldog. This brought the crowd back into the match and Rey then mounted him, punching him repeatedly and forcing referee Jim Korderas to actually pull him off. Rey then whipped him to the corner and delivered a rounding wheel kick which took him right to the apron. Rey then went to the top rope and Carney quickly got to his feet. Mysterio then flew off with a missile dropkick but Carney ducked and he caught Korderas right in the face. Korderas hit the mat hard as High Octane ran out, looking to help him up.
