Chattanooga, Tennessee
Attendance: 6,295
February 16, 2007
This was the first time for Rampage to be in Tennessee in nearly 3 years but this time, as part of the road to WrestleMania 8, the fans were more than ready for their arrival.
Paul Birchill vs. Psychosis Birchill opened the night against Muhammad Hassan's assistant Psychosis, who the fans were all over. Psychosis was able to escape a hammerlock on the mat and catch Birchill with a flying heel kick and a jumping facebuster. But he was off the mark when he went for a crossbody off the top rope and after scrambling out of the way, Birchill delivered "Walking the Plank" to get the win. Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch vs. The Hardy's This was a great tag team match that saw the Hardy's looking like they would put it together against a team they haven't been very successful against. Jeff Hardy had taken a beating from both Cade and Murdoch but after hitting a reverse mule kick on Cade, he was able to make it over and tag in his brother Matt. But Murdoch had the referee distracted and he never saw the exchange. As the ref forced Matt back to his corner, Murdoch came in and drilled Jeff with a vicious DDT before Cade crawled over and draped an arm across Jeff's chest to get the win. CADE AND MURDOCH LEFT TO PLENTY OF BOOS AS MATT CHECKED ON HIS BROTHER IN THE RING. MEANWHILE, A FEW MORE FANS FILED INTO THE ARENA AND TOOK THEIR SEATS AS LILIAN GARCIA CAME INTO THE RING TO ANNOUNCE THAT THE SHOW WOULD BE GOING LIVE ON THE USA NETWORK IN 60 SECONDS! RAMPAGE GOES LIVE
AS RAMPAGE COMES ON THE AIR, BITS OF LAST WEEK's IN RING SEGMENT BETWEEN JOHN CENA AND TRAVIS WAKEMAN IS REPLAYED FOLLOWED BY THE ECHOING WORDS FROM MUHAMMAD HASSAN THAT HE WOULD BE FINDING AN OPPONENT FOR WAKEMAN AT WRESTLEMANIA 8. AFTER A BRIEF PAUSE, THE SHOT OPENS INSIDE THE OFFICE OF HASSAN AND A BOOS ARE IMMEDIATELY HEARD FROM INSIDE THE ARENA FROM FANS WHO CAN SEE HIM ON THE TWF TRON. Muhammad Hassan: "Last week, I told Travis Wakeman I would be personally assigning an opponent to challenge him for the World title at WrestleMania and tonight, I am annoucing that the man who I find will be involved in the main event at Code Red. A huge interdivisional tag team match has been signed as Travis Wakeman will team with John Cena to face the Universal champion Randy Orton and an unnamed partner! And Wakeman, this man could be anyone. It could be someone from Rampage, someone from PrimeTime or someone from SlaughterHouse. It could even be someone not currently in the TWF, an outsider. In fact, I have found an outsider to face you right here tonight on my Rampage"! THE CAMERA FADES OUT ON HASSAN's ANGRY LOOKING FACE BEFORE THE ARENA IS SHOWN AND SECONDS LATER, "MONEY, MONEY, MONEY" HITS FOLLOWING THE TRADEMARK LAUGH OF TED DIBIASE AND TATANKA COMES OUT ALONG WITH JILLIAN HALL. Jim Ross: "We welcome you to TWF Rampage where we are live from Chattanooga, Tennessee and following another anti-Travis Wakeman speech from our always fair general manager, we are ready for action and here comes a few members of the Million Dollar Corporation"! Jerry Lawler: "Well I'm real anxious sitting in this chair tonight, J.R., because as you know, I'll be in action in that ring myself tonight"! THE BRITISH BULLDOG's OLD MUSIC HITS AND THE FANS LOUDLY POP AS HARRY SMITH COMES OUT ALONG WITH LUYU DAWNSTAR. J.R.: "We've witnessed the problems that these four have had lately which started between Luyu Dawnstar and the so called treasurer of the Million Dollar Corporation, Jillian Hall"! Lawler: "What do you mean so called, J.R.? Jillian has been a great addition to the Corporation"! J.R.: "Yeah, I'm sure she came highly recommended but tonight, it'll be the Native American Tatanka and the son of the late Davey Boy Smith going at it". Lawler: "Well we all remember what Tatanka said to Harry Smith last week about beating him the way he used to do his old man and I'm sure Harry Smith has been waiting all week for this match"! Tatanka w/ Jillian Hall vs. Harry Smith w/ Luyu Dawnstar The bell sounded and it didn't take long for the young Smith to get ahead in the match, fighting off a few knifedge chops before reversing an irish whip and catching Tatanka with a clothesline. After shooting him to the corner, he followed in with a big clothesline before showing off his incredible strength, gorilla press slamming Tatanka. Seeing Tatanka in trouble, Jillian got on the apron but Luyu ran over and yanked her to the floor by her foot before catching her with a side kick right in the chest area. Smith and referee Chad Patton had their attention on what was going on between the two women and that allowed Tatanka to come from behind with a low blow before picking Smith up on his shoulder's and falling to the mat with him for the End of the Trail and he covered him to get the 3 count. Match Time: 2:49 J.R.: "Well I'll be damned, Tatanka has picked up the victory in true Million Dollar Corporation fashion"! Lawler: "He picked up the victory, that's all that matters, J.R."! "MONEY, MONEY, MONEY" PLAYED AGAIN AND TATANKA LEFT WITH JILLIAN WHILE LUYU CHECKED ON SMITH IN THE RING. J.R.: "There's a lot more to come tonight, so don't go away"! COMMERCIAL BREAK......... A USA PROGRAMMING AD FOR "MONK" IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY A COMMERCIAL FOR GEICO AUTO INSURANCE. RETURN FROM BREAK..... BACKSTAGE..... WHEN RAMPAGE RETURNS, TODD GRISHAM IS SHOWN IN THE BACKSTAGE AREA. Todd Grisham: "Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guests at this time, Paul Heyman and Joe Corey! COREY AND HEYMAN STEP INTO THE SHOT, STANDING ON EITHER SIDE OF GRISHAM. Last week, Corey, you announced what your plans were for your vision of ECW, do you care to give us any more details"? Joe Corey: "I don't care to give you anything. These people will get their details when I feel like giving them. But I will say one thing, with my ECW, we are out to start a new revolution in this business and tonight, that revolution will start to take shape"! COREY AND HEYMAN WALK OFF WHEN JASON OLIVER COMES UP AND GETS IN THEIR FACES. Jason Oliver: "A revolution, huh? Well, Corey, I sure hope this group goes better for you than the last one you were in. I mean, I'd hate to see the people you have in your group turn around, kick your ass and boot you out again". OLIVER WALKS AWAY LAUGHING AS THE SHOT GOES BACK TO RINGSIDE WHERE THE CANADIAN NATIONAL ANTHEM IS PLAYING AND ROB STORM IS HEADING TO THE RING, FOLLOWED BY THE VERY IMPOSING ALDO CORLEONE. J.R.: "What the heck does he mean by that"?! Lawler: "Who, Corey or Jason Oliver"?! J.R.: "Well Joe Corey refered to some sort of revolution starting to take shape tonight but I don't think he planned on a run in with one of his former Horsemen running buddies". "HIGHER" BY THE GAME HITS AND LENNY ARMSTEAD COMES OUT TO A VERY GOOD CHEER. Lawler: "Well it's no secret that those two aren't buddies anymore, but I'm curious as to what Corey meant myself"! J.R.: "Lenny Armstead set to take on the former King of Cable Rob Storm, who has who he calls his personal hitman out here with him". Rob Storm w/ Aldo Corleone vs. Lenny Armstead The bell sounded and the two men locked up in a collar and elbow tie up and Storm grabbed Armstead in a standing side headlock but Armstead picked his right leg, tripping him up. Armstead then waited for him to get up before kicking him several times on each side of the body. Armstead went for an irish whip but Storm reversed it and then caught him with a flying calf kick. Storm whipped Armstead to the corner and flew in with a running knee to the head to take charge of the match but when he went for a bulldog, Armstead blocked it and sent Storm flying across the ring. After a big dropkick, Armstead was rolling and he had the crowd behind him. But Storm worked to get referee Jack Doan's back to Armstead and Aldo got on the apron, running across it and just crushing Armstead with a clothesline. Storm then pushed Doan aside and used an Oklahoma roll to pin Armstead as boos filled the arena. Match Time: 2:59 J.R.: "For the second week in a row, Aldo has cost Lenny Armstead a match"! Lawler: "He's earning his money, J.R.! This is exactly what Rob Storm hired him for"! THE FANS BOOED WHILE THE CANADIAN NATIONAL ANTHEM PLAYED AND STORM LEFT WITH ALDO. THE CAMERAS GOT A SHOT OF ARMSTEAD HOLDING HIS JAW IN THE RING. J.R.: "Someone really needs to look into whether this guy should even be allowed at ringside"! BACKSTAGE....... Kristal is shown in the back, standing by with Max Ogden. Kristal: "Max Ogden, tonight, Money Mike faces Jerry Lawler. After seeing what Money Mike did to Lawler last week, are you still confident about demanding a match with him"? Max Ogden: "Are you kidding me? What kind of question is that, Kristal? Of course I'm confident about it and ya know what, Mike, you can keep feeding me this crap about you're gonna give me the match when you're ready to cause all that does is show how much of a bitch you are! I told Hassan today that I want a match with you at Code Red and if you're "ready" for the match by then, I'll show the entire world who the fake king really is"! OGDEN WALKS OFF AS THE SHOT IS SENT BACK TO THE RING. Non-Title Match Trinity vs. Women's Champion: Mickie James Trinity and Mickie seemed to have a lot of respect for one another's abilities as there was a long feeling each other out process to start the match. Trinity was able to get in an armdrag before picking Mickie up and sending her to the corner. But Mickie stuck a foot in her face when she charged in and caught her with a spin kick right to the gut, covering her and hooking the leg for a very near fall. Mickie tried to irish whip Trinity but she reversed it and caught the Women's champ with a hurracanrana that nearly won it for her. Trinity pulled Mickie up and peppered her with 2 right hands before bouncing off the ropes with a lariat clothesline but she missed and Mickie scored with her Mick Kick, covering Trinity for the 3 count. Match Time: 3:17 J.R.: "Another big win for Mickie James and is she on a roll or what, King"?! Lawler: "She sure is, she can come out here every week and you won't get any complaints from me whether she wins or loses"! MICKIE JAMES' MUSIC PLAYED AND SHE HELD UP HER TITLE FOR THE CHEERING CROWD. J.R.: "Well fans don't go away, we've still got our own King, Jerry Lawler in action"! Lawler: "I can't wait"! COMMERCIAL BREAK....... A PREVIEW FOR THE NEW MOVIE "ZODIAC" IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY A COMMERCIAL FOR BODOG.NET. TWF HALL OF FAME: CLASS OF 2007: THE ROCK We are proud to announce the very first inductee into this year's Hall of Fame, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. (Clips are shown of The Rock in action) When the TWF opened it's doors, The Rock was arguably it's biggest star. He competed in the main event at the first WrestleMania, challenging The Undertaker for the World title in a First Blood steel cage match. That match is still considered one of the biggest in WrestleMania history. Although he came up short that night, The Rock would win the title 6 months later in a triple threat match on the September 30, 2000 edition of PrimeTime. But it was his matches with Travis Wakeman that stand out in the eyes of most fans, a series of battles that brought out the best in both men. The Rock was a guy who could've competed in the TWF for 15-20 years and even though you can't see him in one of our rings anymore, you can still catch his larger than life persona on the big screens of Hollywood. We here at the TWF are proud to welcome The Rock into the Hall of Fame. BACKSTAGE AREA...... THE ACTION PICKS BACK UP LIVE IN CHATTANOOGA SHOWING ARMANDO ALEJANDRO ESTRADA WALKING IN THE BACK WHEN MATT CRUZ COMES UP AND GETS IN HIS FACE. Armando Alejandro Estrada: "May I help ju"? Matt Cruz: "You can tell your Samoan Bulldozer that I don't appreciate what he did to my friend Nick Diaz last week". Estrada: "Uh, are you sure ju want me to do that"? Cruz: "Don't play games with me...... either you tell him, or I will. Either way, I'm calling him out..... tonight"! CRUZ WALKS AWAY AND ESTRADA DOESN'T KNOW WHAT TO THINK. "MISTERRRR KENNEDYYYYYYY" IS HEARD AND KEN KENNEDY COMES OUT TO A LARGE AMOUNT OF BOOS AS THE SHOT GOES BACK INTO THE ARENA. J.R.: "Here comes Mister Kennedy and I'm flying solo at the moment because the King has gone to get ready for his match but I know he would agree with me that The Rock is a great choice for this year's Hall of Fame.... he sure is missed". Ken Kennedy: "Ladies and gentlemen, I need your attention. THE CROWD CONTINUES TO BOO. I have something to say. Last week, I challenged Rey Mysterio to a match right here in this ring and what did he do? He left for SlaughterHouse. Now I know I'm not the only one who's beginning to think people around here are afraid of me..... oh yeah. Starting right here tonight, I want someone to show me some guts! I want someone to show me they have heart! I want someone to show me they have the BALLS to come out here and face me! And I want......... JUST THEN, THE FANS GO WILD WHEN "I WALK ALONE" BY SALIVA COMES ON AND BATISTA COMES OUT TO THE RING. KENNEDY LOOKS STUNNED. J.R.: "Oh boy, I don't know if this is what Kennedy wanted"! BATISTA COMES INTO THE RING AND OUT COMES REFEREE JIMMY KORDERAS. J.R.: "It looks like we've got an impromptu match"! Mr. Kennedy vs. Batista The bell sounded and Batista stalked Kennedy, backing him into a corner. Kennedy was trying to decide what to do, but tried to get in a quick cheap shot. Batista blocked the right hand and pounded him with a series of overhand rights of his own. He then whipped Kennedy to the far corner, plowing into him with a running shoulder to the abdomen. From there, Batista lifted Kennedy above his head with a gorilla press and it looked like he was going to make short work of him, but Kennedy raked him across the eyes. Kennedy then landed on his feet and just let loose with right hands on the animal. Off an irish whip, Kennedy kicked Batista square in the midsection before bouncing off the ropes for a big running knee lift. Kennedy yelled "Who's the man now"?!, only for the fans to fire back with boos. Kennedy did have Batista right where he wanted him though, knocking him into the corner and kicking away at him 10-12 times before Korderas came in and asked for a break. But Batista responded by getting up with a big spear. He was all fired up, feeding off the energy from the crowd as he whipped Kennedy to the ropes for his big spinebuster. That was the beginning of the end as Batista gave the double thumbs down and witgh 90% of the crowd on their feet, he lifted Kennedy up and drove him into the mat with the "Batista Bomb" as Korderas pounded the mat 3 times to give him the match. Match Time: 5:02 J.R.: "Oh what impact! I think Mister Kennedy better rethink some things the next time he decides to issue an open challenge to the entire locker room! Batista is on fire"! KENNEDY ROLLED OUT OF THE RING HOLDING THE BACK OF HIS HEAD WHILE BATISTA CELEBRATED THE WIN WITH THE CROWD AS "I WALK ALONE" AGAIN PLAYED. THE SHOT THEN SHIFTED TO THE BACKSTAGE AREA. BACKSTAGE...... ROB STORM IS SHOWN IN THE BACK DRESSED IN HIS STREET CLOTHES AND HE IS ABOUT TO LEAVE THE ARENA WHEN LENNY ARMSTEAD COMES UP IN A HURRY. Lenny Armstead: "Hey Storm.......... you can go ahead and tell your hitman, Aldo, that he and I have a match at Code Red! And if you even think about getting involved to help him win, you'll be sorry". ARMSTEAD WALKS AWAY AND STORM JUST LAUGHS TO HIMSELF. Rob Storm (to himself): "Heh, I won't need to". THE CROWD COMES TO THEIR FEET AND SHOWS THEIR RESPECT AS JERRY LAWLER's MUSIC PLAYS AND HE COMES OUT IN WHITE AND BLUE WRESTLING TIGHTS. J.R.: "Well I don't want to embarass my partner here, but for a fifty seven year old guy, he looks pretty good..... go get 'em, King"! MOMENTS LATER, "KING OF KINGS" BY MOTORHEAD PLAYS AND MONEY MIKE STEPS OUT ALONG WITH STEPHANIE McMAHON TO SOME VERY, VERY STRONG BOOS. MIKE IS WEARING A CROWN AND CAPE AND CARRYING A SCEPTER. J.R.: "This Chattanooga crowd is showing what they think of Money Mike, the self proclaimed King of the TWF and need I mention that we aren't too far from Lawler's hometown of Memphis? He's got tremendous support out here"! STEPHANIE GETS UP ON THE APRON AND HOLDS THE ROPES OPEN FOR MIKE WHO GETS IN AND REMOVES HIS CAPE AND CROWN. J.R.: "We know Max Ogden is chomping at the bit for a match with Money Mike but after what he did to my partner last week, I know Lawler is ready to get a piece of Money Mike, who had the audacity to call Lawler a fake king! I don't care what anyone says, Lawler is the true king of this business, at least as far as I'm concerned and obviously, I'm a little biased, but I hope he kicks Mike's ass"! Jerry "The King" Lawler vs. Money Mike w/ Stephanie McMahon The bell sounded and Lawler wasted no time going right after Mike, who came into the match right at about half his age. Lawler threw some wild haymakers, finally connecting with one before getting Mike in a standing side headlock and driving his right fist into his head many times. Lawler then smacked Mike across the chest with a knifedge chop before whipping him to the ropes for a big backbody drop. The crowd was loving it as Lawler was having his way with the reigning King of the Ring. But when he went to pick him up, Mike used a double leg to take Lawler down before pounding him with several right hands from a mounted position. After a scoop slam, Mike actually went for the People's Elbow, a direct shot at the man who was just announced as going into the Hall of Fame this year, The Rock. The crowd booed the whole way through it and then, he missed when Lawler rolled out of the way! Lawler then pulled Mike in, looking for the piledriver but Mike countered with a backdrop and after catching Lawler with a stiff DDT, he pulled him up into the "Money Pit" and hooked the leg for the quick win. Match Time: 3:53 J.R.: "Damn! Good try, King, he wrestles every night, you..... oh look out"! JUST THEN, MAX OGDEN HIT THE RING AFTER RIPPING THE SCEPTER OUT OF STEPHANIE's HANDS AND HE SMASHED IT OVER MIKE's HEAD, SENDING THE CROWD INTO A FRENZY OF CHEERS. J.R.: "Oh what a shot! He looked like Tiger Woods with that swing"! STEPHANIE GOT DOWN TO CHECK ON MIKE WHO WAS BARELY CONCIOUS AS OGDEN LEFT, SLAPPING HANDS WITH AS MANY FANS AS HE COULD. J.R.: "Maybe that will speed up the process for Money Mike to decide to face Ogden one on one"! COMMERCIAL BREAK....... A COMMERCIAL FOR DURACELL BATTERIES IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY A CLIP SHOWING FOOTAGE OF HURRICANE KATRINA's PATH OF DESTRUCTION. Voiceover: "The destruction has taken place........ the devastation has set in. Lives have been changed forever but help is on the way........... A HELICOPTER WITH THE TWF LOGO ON IT IS SHOWN FLYING OVER THE NEW ORLEANS AREA AND SEVERAL PEOPLE ARE SHOWN ON THE GROUND CLAPPING AND CHEERING. WrestleMania 8...... live and only on Pay-Per-View"! RETURN FROM BREAK..... J.R.: "We're back live and for any of you just tuning in, take a look at what just happened before the break! FOOTAGE IS SHOWN OF WHAT JUST HAPPENED BEFORE THE BREAK WITH MONEY MIKE PICKING UP A WIN OVER JERRY LAWLER ONLY TO BE ATTACKED BY MAX OGDEN AFTERWARDS AND HIT OVER THE HEAD WITH HIS OWN SCEPTER. I'm joined now by Todd Grisham and Todd, Max Ogden is coming at Money Mike full force"! Todd Grisham: "Two weeks in a row out here with you, J.R., I'm starting to kind of like this, but it looks like Ogden is going to get his wish". A PROMO GRAPHIC WITH THE CODE RED LOGO POPS UP. ON ONE SIDE IS MAX OGDEN AND CANDICE MICHELLE AND ON THE OTHER IS MONEY MIKE AND STEPHANIE McMAHON. IN BETWEEN THEM IS THRONE. J.R.: "It's now official, Money Mike will take on Max Ogden at Code Red in the first ever King's Throne match! We don't know what the rules for this match are at this time, but the match has been signed"! "THE NEXT EPISODE" BY DR. DRE HITS AND MATT CRUZ COMES OUT TO A GOOD CHEER. Grisham: "We heard this man say he was gonna call out Umaga later in the night, and one can only assume that's what he's doing right now". J.R.: "Matt Cruz made it clear to Armando Estrada that he didn't like the treatment Umaga gave to our guests from the UFC last week, who Cruz seems to be good friends with". Matt Cruz: "Umaga..... you might think you have everyone scared of you.... but you're wrong! So get your ass out here! You can even bring that weird lookin' manager of yours out"! SECONDS LATER, UMAGA's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT ALONG WITH ESTRADA TO A LOT OF BOOS. J.R.: "We saw the Samoan Spike immobilize Nick Diaz last week so Matt Cruz is definitely stepping up against a monster here"! AFTER LISTENING TO SOME INSTRUCTIONS FROM ESTRADA, UMAGA SLIDES INTO THE RING AND THE FIGHT IS ON. BOTH MEN GET SOME HEAVY SHOTS IN BUT THE CROWD STARTS TO BOO AS OFFICIALS COME OUT FROM THE BACK IN MASS TO PULL THE TWO APART. Grisham: "I say let 'em fight"! J.R.: "These two will destroy each other! I don't think I'd even want to step between them"! FINALLY, THE OFFICIALS GET THE MEN PULLED APART, BUT THEY ARE STILL HAVING WORDS WITH ONE ANOTHER. BACKSTAGE...... THE FANS CHEER AS TRAVIS WAKEMAN IS SHOWN STANDING OUTSIDE MELINA's DRESSING ROOM. Travis Wakeman: "You almost ready"? Melina: "Yeah, just about". JUST THEN, A MAN WALKS UP TO WAKEMAN. Man: "Excuse me, Mister Wakeman? This is for you". THE MAN HANDS WAKEMAN SOMETHING AND HE JUST LOOKS AT IT. MELINA COMES OUT OF HER ROOM IN A VERY SKIMPY OUTFIT. Melina: "What's that"? Wakeman: "It's a picture of my very first wrestling match, in 1998, some guy just gave it to me". Melina: "Huh...... well we better go get ready". Wakeman: "Yeah, I still gotta hit the bag". MELINA AND WAKEMAN WALK OUT OF THE SHOT BEFORE IT IS SENT BACK OUT TO THE RING. Rex Redford and Taylor Made w/ Kelly vs. Carlito and Kenny Doane The match started with two teams who aren't too familiar with each other, but Carlito seemed hellbent on avenging his loss to Redford last week, coming out firing at him with a barrage of right hands. After a springboard back elbow, Carlito whipped Redford to the corner and followed in with a big clothesline. He then made the tag to Kenny who came in and picked up where he left off. After a snapmare, Kenny dropkicked Redford in the back of the head before tagging Carlito back in. Carlito tried to hit an elbow from the apron but Redford got out of the way. He then made it to his corner and got the tag to Taylor who hit Carlito with 3 right hands before sending him to the ropes for a big flying elbow. Taylor then went to the top rope and came flying off but Carlito drilled him with a dropkick that took him right out of mid air. Carlito then made it over and tagged in Kenny who came in the ring very arrogantly, verbally abusing Taylor before making sexual gestures towards Kelly. After slapping Taylor in the back of the head, Kenny went to pick him up but Taylor used a quick small package to get a 3 count out of nowhere. Match Time: 5:12 A BIG POP CAME FROM THE CROWD AS "LIKE A PIMP" BY DA BAND PLAYED AND TAYLOR, REDFORD AND KELLY LEFT WITH THE WIN. J.R.: "A big win for those two young kids and things just keep going downhill for Carlito and Kenny"! Grisham: "Yeah, now they're blaming each other for that loss". J.R.: "Well folks you don't want to go away because coming up next, Jason Oliver takes on J.J. Ramplin and we still don't know who Travis Wakeman will face tonight"! COMMERCIAL BREAK........ COMMERCIALS FOR UPS AND BEST BUY ARE SHOWN. RETURN FROM BREAK.... RINGSIDE..... RAMPAGE RETURNS AND "NUMBER OF THE BEAST" BY IRON MAIDEN HITS AND J.J. RAMPLIN COMES OUT ALONG WITH WILLIAM REGAL TO NOTHING BUT BOOS. J.R.: "It was just last week when Jason Oliver told J.J. Ramplin he hadn't done enough to impress him in order to get a shot at the King of Cable title and later that night, Ramplin pinned him in tag team action"! Grisham: "Well I'm about as big a Ramplin fan as everyone else here in Chattanooga, J.R., but you can't deny what he has done lately and if he can get a win here, there's no doubt he deserves a shot at the title". "SUPERSTAR" BY SALIVA HITS AND A HUGE POP RINGS THROUGH THE UTC ARENA AS JASON OLIVER COMES OUT WITH THE KING OF CABLE TITLE AROUND HIS WAIST. J.R.: "He calls himself the King of Sting and he has a chance to sting The Ram here"! Grisham: "This match is not for the title, but it doesn't take away from it's importance as we head into WrestleMania". OLIVER GOT INTO THE RING AND REMOVED HIS ROBE, THEN THE TITLE BEFORE HANDING IT TO REFEREE SCOTT MARTIN. BUT SUDDENLY, SYLVESTER TERKAY RAN OUT AND GOT INTO THE RING, CRUSHING OLIVER WITH A ROUNDHOUSE KICK TO THE HEAD. J.R.: "What the hell was that"?! Grisham: "The manbear Sylvester Terkay has come out and he's all over Oliver"! MOMENTS LATER, RAMPLIN JOINED IN ON THE ATTACK AND THE BOOS BECAME EVEN LOUDER AS JOE COREY MADE HIS WAY OUT ALONG WITH PAUL HEYMAN, WHO COULDN'T CONTAIN HIS HAPPINESS. TERKAY HELPED OLIVER TO HIS FEET ONLY FOR THE RAM TO SLAM INTO HIM WITH HIS SPEAR, WHICH HE CALLS THE RAM's HORNS. J.R.: "My God.... what the hell are we witnessing"?! TERKAY AND RAMPLIN EACH TURNED TO COREY, WHO TOSSED THEM EACH A BLACK T-SHIRT. TERKAY AND RAMPLIN PUT THE SHIRTS ON, REVEALING THEY WERE THE BRAND NEW ECW T-SHIRT! EVEN WILLIAM REGAL SEEMED CONFUSED. Grisham: "Corey talked about a revolution starting tonight.... this is obviously what he meant"! "MISERIA CANTARE" BY AFI HIT AND COREY SHOOK THE HAND OF BOTH RAMPLIN AND TERKAY BEFORE HEYMAN DID THE SAME. J.R.: "Joe Corey has made his first two recruits and Jason Oliver has been decimated out here"! THE NEW ECW GROUP LEFT THROUGH THE CROWD, INTO A DARK AREA OF THE ARENA, SIMILAR TO THE ONE THEY USED AS AN ENTRANCE LAST WEEK. A FEW OF THE REFEREES CAME OUT FROM THE BACK TO HELP OLIVER UP THE RAMP AN INTO THE BACK. Grisham: "This new ECW contingent has not only sent a clear message to the King of Cable, but to the entire TWF really"! J.R.: "You just have to wonder what Corey has told these men, what kind of promises he's made them to get them to sell their souls to this group.... this ECW"! "MAKE WAY" BY METHOD MAN HITS AND TRAVIS WAKEMAN COMES OUT WITH THE WORLD TITLE HANGING OUT OF HIS RIGHT HAND WITH THE LOVELY MELINA FOLLOWING HIM. Grisham: "And now it's time..... it's time for the mainnnnnnnn event"! J.R.: "Yeah, it'd be nice if we knew who was in it". Grisham: "Well we know this man is in it, Wakeman is a fighting champion, there's no doubt about that". J.R.: "I just question how long Muhammad Hassan cane continue to keep all these secrets, all these mystery opponents over his head. It seems to me that's something the board of directors could step in on". THE ARABIC CHANT OF MUHAMMAD HASSAN's MUSIC IS HEARD AND HE COMES OUT TO SOME VERY SERIOUS HEAT WITH A MICROPHONE IN HAND. Muhammad Hassan: "Wakeman..... I told you I had an outsider tonight and that is literally what I have! Your opponent tonight is known as the Bad Guy..... a former member of the New World Order....... your opponent is Scott Hall"! SCOTT HALL STEPS OUT FROM THE BACK, LOOKING AS OUT OF SHAPE AS EVER, BUT HE ACTUALLY GETS SOME CHEERS FROM THE CROWD. Grisham: "Wow, where did Hassan have to go to find this guy"? J.R.: "I've been around Scott Hall for much of my career, Todd and he is one man who can get it done in that ring. This just shows how far Hassan is willing to go to mess with the head of our World champion"! Non-Title Match World Champion: Travis Wakeman w/ Melina vs. Scott Hall Wakeman was in the ring with a ring veteran, and Scott Hall looked like he hadn't missed a beat, tagging Wakeman with a slew of his trademark right hands before hammering him with some knifedge chops in the corner. Hall sent Wakeman for the ride to the far corner and followed him in but Wakeman got in a back elbow before grabbing the right arm of Hall, yanking at it before popping him with a fee right hands. Off an irish whip, Wakeman used a drop toe hold but Hall escaped a side headlock and got to his feet, kicking Wakeman in the gut before whipping him to the ropes, using a drop toehold of his own before slapping the back of Wakeman's head with both hands, trying to take him off his game. Wakeman popped up but Hall drilled him with more right hands before lifting him up and delivering his big fallaway slam. After dusting his hands off, Hall made the motion with his arms that has always signaled one thing- the Razor's Edge! He got Wakeman is position, but Wakeman was able to drop to his knees, trip him up and turn him over in the Sharpshooter! Hall was definitely not expecting that, but he was able to get to the ropes to break the hold. The fight continued with both men trading shots and after a kick to the gut again, Hall lifted Wakeman up for a big backdrop suplex. He then dropped a big elbow on Wakeman but a cover could only get him a 2 count. Hall pulled Wakeman up, looking for a suplex but Wakeman blocked it and got him up for a suplex but instead turned it into the "Royal Flush", hitting it with plenty of impact and Wakeman covered Hall for the 1.........2........3. Match Time: 9:20 J.R.: "A hard fought win for Wakeman, a lot harder than I'm sure he expected"! Grisham: "It was harder than I expected, we haven't seen Scott Hall in years"! "MAKE WAY" PLAYED AND MELINA CAME INTO THE RING WITH THE WORLD TITLE BELT, HANDING IT TO WAKEMAN AND HE RAISED IT UP FOR THE CHEERING CROWD. J.R.: "Wakeman has dodged Hassan's bullet tonight, but how many more times will he be able to do that"?! OFF AIR......
