Saddle Dome

Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Attendance: 8,567

March 18, 2007

The road to WrestleMania 8 went north of the border for a huge show in Calgary. Fans knew they would see some great action, but the buzz all night was about the main event for WrestleMania for the World title and what Money Mike had up his sleeve for his announced "special visit".

Harry Smith vs. Rob Storm w/ Aldo Corleone

A battle of two men with plenty of ties to Canada started the show off. Rob Storm may profess to be "Canada's Favorite Son", but he was booed right out of the Saddle Dome. But with the imposing Aldo Corleone at ringside, Storm did have control of the match. But the young Smith hung tough and after countering a flying calf kick, he delivered back to back clotheslines. Corleone tripped him up when he hit the ropes though and Storm went for an Oklahoma roll only to have Smith roll right through it into a pin of his own for the win.

Luyu Dawnstar vs. Stacy Snow

These two divas wanted to show that they are ready for that next step in the very competitive Women's division and although Luyu has been a huge fan favorite since her arrival, she was booed in this one against the Canadian girl, Snow. But Snow had a hurracanrana turn into a powerbomb which Luyu followed up with the "Eagle's Landing" for a very nice win in about 6 minutes.

Lenny Armstead and Taylor Made w/ Kelly vs. Kenny Doane and Umaga w/ Armando Alejandro Estrada

Tag team action was the main event of Uprising and it was Armstead and Taylor who worked very well as a team, taking it to the young Doane. But after Doane and Taylor knocked heads, Doane was able to get the tag to Umaga, which spelled doom for his opponents. After dusting Armstead off with a nasty superkick, Umaga threw Taylor up and caught him with a Samoan drop. Umaga then loaded his thumb up and delivered the "Samoan Spike" to Taylor to get the win.

Umaga stood in the ring, almost daring anyone to come out and face him. Armando Alejandro Estrada taunted the crowd as the shot faded out.

RAMPAGE GOES LIVE

WHEN RAMPAGE TAKES THE AIR, SOUNDBYTES FROM MONEY MIKE's PROMO AND TRAVIS WAKEMAN's AT HOME INTERVIEW ARE PLAYED. THINGS LIKE "HE's NOT WHAT YOU PEOPLE MAKE HIM OUT TO BE" AND "I WILL FOCUS ON TRAINING FOR THIS MATCH" ARE HEARD. THE LAST SOUNDBYTE IS OF MONEY MIKE ELUDING TO HIS "SPECIAL VISIT" THIS WEEK.

THAT ALL LEADS INTO THE OPENING MONTAGE AS "TO BE LOVED" PLAYS.

AS THE SADDLE DOME COMES INTO THE SHOT, THOUSANDS OF FANS ARE SHOWN CHEERING AND A LARGE CANADIAN FLAG IS ILLUMINATED IN THE STANDS BY THE PYRO BLASTING OFF OF THE STAGE.

THE CHEERS GROW EVEN LOUDER AS "ONE OF A KIND" BY BREAKING POINT HITS AND ROB VAN DAM COMES OUT.

J.R.: "We are live, north of the border in Calgary and look at how we're starting Rampage off this week"!

Jerry Lawler: "The noise in this place is deafening, J.R.! It's not hard to see that we are in the stretch drive on the road to WrestleMania"!

MUHAMMAD HASSAN's MUSIC COMES ON AND BOOS FILL THE SADDLE DOME AS ONE OF HIS PERSONAL ASSISTANTS, PSYCHOSIS, MAKES HIS WAY TO THE RING.

J.R.: "And at WrestleMania, RVD will be part of the WrestleMania Jackpot, in fact the only Rampage superstar in the match, and he's got a bit of a warmup tonight against the Mexican luchador Psychosis".

Lawler: "Well you made mention of RVD being Rampage's only competitor in that WrestleMania Jackpot, J.R., so you gotta wonder if Muhammad Hassan took called off the dogs as far as Psychosis goes here".

J.R.: "I don't think Hassan gives much of a damn, King".

Rob Van Dam vs. Psychosis

The bell sounded to start the match and the two men circled each other but it quickly became clear that each would rely on his speed for the win. Psychosis tried to move in, but RVD kept him back with his strong kicks before catching him with 2 short jabs. Off an irish whip, RVD went for a backbody drop but Psychosis landed on his feet and nailed RVD with an impressive wheel kick. Psychosis then hit the ropes, dropping a senton bomb on Van Dam for a 2 count. Psychosis pulled RVD up and tried for a suplex, but RVD blocked it and used a suplex of his own into a float over to get a 2 count. Both men got to their feet and traded right hands but Psychosis raked RVD across the eyes and then kicked him in the abdomen before slinging him to the corner. Psychosis ran in, but RVD was waiting with a foot to the face before putting him down with a superkick that sent an echo through the Canadian crowd. Then, quick as a cat, RVD hopped up to the top rope and flew off, getting tremendous height on the "5 Star Frogsplash" and after rolling over onto Psychosis, it was all over.

Match Time: 3:54

"ONE OF A KIND" PLAYED AGAIN AS REFEREE CHAD PATTON RAISED RVD's ARM IN VICTORY BEFORE THE CROWD GAVE HIM A VERY LOUD CHEER.

J.R.: "Impressive win for RVD and he looks ready for WrestleMania if you ask me"!

Lawler: "Well if you're a fan of Rampage, all the hopes of our brand ride on this guy in the WrestleMania Jackpot"!

J.R.: "And ya know, King, if there's one guy to pin those hopes on, I have no issues with it being the Whole Damn Show"!

COMMERCIAL BREAK........

A COMMERCIAL FOR THE GILLETTE FUSION RAZOR IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY A PROMO FOR WRESTLEMANIA 8 FEATURING MATT CRUZ VS. KURT ANGLE.

RETURN FROM BREAK...... RINGSIDE......

WHEN RAMPAGE RETURNS, MELINA's MUSIC HITS AND SHE COMES OUT TO A MIXED REACTION, BUT MORE BOOS CAN BE HEARD. ASHLEY K. IS SHOWN STANDING IN THE RING.

J.R.: "We welcome you back live to Rampage and it was just a couple weeks ago, King, when we saw Ashley K. viciously attack Melina in the backstage area".

Lawler: "And it was all for the approval of Muhammad Hassan, who would probably have no problem with Melina if she wasn't connected to Travis Wakeman"!

J.R.: "Well speaking of our World champion, we are scheduled to see some footage of the rigorous training he has been going through later tonight but Melina insisted on being here for a chance at a little revenge here".

Melina vs. Ashley K.

The bell sounded and these two women wasted no time getting after it, showing the serious bad blood that exists between them. For the first couple minutes, both women struggled on the match, pulling hair and throwing open handed swings that mostly missed. It was more of a fight then anything. But Melina was able to gain control and get on top of Ashley, almost in a mount position before throwing some hard forearms at her. After striking her 3 times, referee Jack Doan pulled Melina off and seemed a but concerned for Ashley, who had been given a bloody lip. But as Melina walked back over, Ashley kicked her right in the stomach and grabbed her for a running bulldog. She then grabbed Melina by the hair and tried to drag her across the ring, drawing a stern warning from Doan. Ashley had Melina in a lot of pain, however, and she kept the pressure on with a stiff kick to the back and kidney area. Late in the match, Ashley stood on the hair of Melina but somehow, Melina used her legs to latch the arms of Ashley and roll her forward into a wonderful pinning combination to get the win.

Match Time: 9:56

Lawler: "She got her"!

J.R.: "She sure did, King, and like Melina or not, you really gotta hand it to her for that win"!

Lawler: "Wait a minute..... what's this"?

MELINA's CELBRATION IS CUT SHORT WHEN MONEY MIKE APPEARS ON THE TWF TRON.

Money Mike: "We're here in my old hometown, about to pay someone a special visit.

A CAMERA FOLLOWS MONEY MIKE AS HE ENTERS A BRICK BUILDING. BACK AT THE ARENA, AN INTERESTED MELINA JUST LOOKS ON.

MONEY MIKE STROLLS THROUGH THE BUILDING AS IT IS CLEAR THERE ARE MANY YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN, TRAINING TO BE WRESTLERS. MIKE WANTS UP TO A YOUNG KID WHO IS WIPING HIS FACE WITH A TOWEL.

Money Mike: "Where's coach"?

Young man: "Uh, back in his office".

MONEY MIKE WALKS PAST THE KID OVER TO AN OPEN DOOR. HE LOOKS IN AND SEES A WELL BUILT MAN WITH A SHAVED HEAD. THE MAN LOOKS UP AT MIKE AND SEEMS SURPRISED TO SEE HIM.

Money Mike: "Well, if it ain't coach Waterman".

THE MAN STANDS UP.

Ron Waterman: "Mike? What the heck brings you here"?

Money Mike: "Funny you should ask that. Remember when I was one of your students"?

Waterman: "It'd be hard to forget".

Money Mike: "You remember who you always said was so much better than me? The man you gave the nod to for a TWF contract, over me"?

Waterman: "Come on, Mike, let's not......

Money Mike: "Oh no, we're going to. It turns out that I'm facing your little wrestling prodigy at TWF WrestleMania 8, an event you thought I'd never compete at.

SUDDENLY, MIKE SLAPS WATERMAN ACROSS THE FACE. WATERMAN IS PISSED, AND READY TO FIRE BACK.

Go ahead, take your best shot, coach. Take your best shot so that I can show you what you never saw in me..... you son of a bitch! Here's what I want you to do.... Ron. I want you to call your local cable provider, tell them you want to order WrestleMania 8 and I want you to watch me make a mockery of Travis Wakeman! Then, I want you to tell yourself, man, I missed that one"!

MIKE STARTS TO WALK OUT OF THE OFFICE, BUT BACK AT THE ARENA, MELINA IS ATTACKED FROM BEHIND BY STEPHANIE McMAHON.

J.R.: "Oh what the hell is this! Stephanie McMahon is not with Money Mike"!

Lawler: "Nope, she's here in Calgary, J.R., and she's all over Melina"!

STEPHANIE FINISHES HER ATTACK WITH A PAINTBRUSH BITCH SLAP RIGHT ACROSS THE FACE OF MELINA. MIKE IS SHOWN WATCHING ON THE TRON, LAUGHING.

J.R.: "This is disgusting"!

Lawler: "Money Mike told us he had a surprise! Looks like the billion dollar queen had one too"!

Money Mike: "Oh and by the way fans, if you think that was bad, I'm not done. I still have one more stop to make in this dump".

THE TRON CUTS OUT AND THE SHOT IS SENT TO THE BACK.

BACKSTAGE......

KRISTAL IS SHOWN STANDING WITH MAX OGDEN AND CANDICE MICHELLE.

Kristal: "Max Ogden, at Code Red, we saw you fall fifteen feet from a platform right onto the sound stage. Was it unreasonable for the World's Greatest Tag Team to ask you to take the night off last week"?

Max Ogden: "Are either one of those punks a doctor? I'll be the judge of whether I can go or not and I felt I could go. Those two disrespected me and I stand by what I did. Not only that, but I have a partner, a good friend of both Candice and I and if Haas and Benjamin will accept the challenge, we want a title shot at WrestleMania".

OGDEN WALKS AWAY AS A PROMO GRAPHIC IS SHOWN CONTAINING NEMESIS ON ONE SIDE AND ECW's SYLVESTER TERKAY ON THE OTHER.

J.R.: "Well don't go away folks, cause still to come, we've got Nemesis facing Sylvester Terkay in a rematch from last week! What a wild night"!

Lawler: "And we just heard Money Mike..... he's got something else planned"!

COMMERCIAL BREAK......

A COMMERCIAL FOR AUTOZONE IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY ONE FOR THE U.S. MARINE CORPS.

BACKSTAGE......

WHEN RAMPAGE RETURNS, TODD GRISHAM IS SHOWN STANDING WITH JOE COREY AND HIS ENTIRE ECW FACTION.

Todd Grisham: "Later tonight, Nemesis is scheduled to face Sylvester Terkay, the man who defeated him last week. Now I ask you, Joe Corey, why would you volunteer to defend your ECW World title against Nemesis just one week ago, and now you say you'll be taking that title shot off the table if he can't beat Terkay tonight".

Joe Corey: "It's real simple, Todd, in order to beat me, you have to be able to handle my men, or you're wasting your time. This title (Corey slaps the ECW title belt that hangs over his shoulder) is going to be looked at as a big part of the TWF. So I refuse to defend it against anyone who is not a worthy opponent".

Grisham: "Well it seems to me that Terkay had a lot of help to win that match last week".

Corey: "Like I said, worthy opponents. Let's go guys".

COREY AND HIS MEN WALK AWAY, AND TERKAY HAS HIS EYES LOCKED IN ON GRISHAM.

Class of 2007 Hall of Fame Inductee- Drew Blood

Unquestionably one of the most successful superstars in TWF history, Drew Blood will be remembered for both his ability to get the best of his opponents both physically and psychologically. Drew Blood was also as good a mat technician as the TWF has ever seen. He also held both the World and Universal titles, as well as winning the Intercontinental and European during his stellar TWF career. Many fans felt Drew Blood gave up wrestling too soon and had his best years ahead of him, but don't rule out the possibility that you'll see him in a TWF ring again some day. But as a member of the class of 2007, we honor Drew Blood with his election to the TWF Hall of Fame.

BACK TO LIVE ACTION, KURT ANGLE's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT TO A HOARD OF BOOS. SEVERAL UNKNOWN WRESTLERS ARE SHOWN IN THE RING IN BURGUNDY AND GOLD WRESTLING SINGLETS.

J.R.: "I'll tell ya, King, Drew Blood ruled the ranks around here for a lot of years, a very well deserved honor there".

Lawler: "I agree, J.R., Drew Blood was one heck of a superstar here for many years".

J.R.: "SlaughterHouse's Kurt Angle is out here and it looks like it's time for whatever this wrestling exhibition is".

Kurt Angle: "Cruz..... I hope you're ready, because it's time for Kurt Angle's Wrestling Exhibition! Now, since this is my contest, I took it upon myself to find the opponents! These fine men in the ring with me are all a part of the University of Minnesota wrestling team! We're each gonna have five minutes to beat as many of these guys as we can, Cruz, and since this is my contest..... I'll go first"!

JUST THEN, "THE NEXT EPISODE" BY DR. DRE HITS AND MATT CRUZ COMES OUT TO A HUGE RESPONSE.

J.R.: "The wrestling exhibition is about to get underway, and here comes Matt Cruz"!

Lawler: "All these kids from the University of Minnesota no doubt look up to this guy, J.R., but what chance do they really have in the ring tonight"?

J.R.: "I think it's a great oppurtunity for these kids, I just hope the NCAA is aware they are here, they have strict guidelines ya know"?

Wrestling Exhibition

Kurt Angle vs. Matt "Madik" Cruz

With Cruz watching from the floor, Angle stepped against a wrestler weighing about 185 with blonde hair. They locked up and Angle took him to the mat with ease. He had the kid in a hammerlock and the young man tried to position his legs for a reversal, but Angle switched over to a front facelock. Angle seemed to be sapping all the energy out of his opponent, but to the amazement of the crowd, the kid began to stand up, with Angle on his back! But Angle torqued down on the hold, bringing the young man back down to the mat with the facelock. Angle then switched over into a chicken wing and the kid tapped out. One minute, thirty seconds had come off the clock as the next man, probably in the 200 pound range, stepped in. Angle got down in the traditional amatuer position, on his hands and knees, and he let the young man have top position. He quickly grabbed Angle and tried to roll him over but Angle was able to escape into a go behind. He grabbed the man around the waist and picked him up off the mat, slamming him back into it Greco Roman style. Angle's opponent was in a lot of trouble and Angle sensed it, locking in the vaunted ankle lock and the young man had had enough. With almost 2 full minutes remaining, Angle was ready for his next opponent and a well built kid probably weighing in the neighborhood of 230 stepped in. Angle went right at him, trying for a single leg, but the Minnesota Golden Gopher got Angle in a front facelock. The kid felt he had Angle in trouble but Angle lifted him up above his head and just dropped him on the back of his head. The kid was definitely hurt as Angle poured it on, jumping into a mount position and getting on a top armbar. The kid looked like he was going to give it up, but Angle let go of the hold and then picked him up for a german suplex, dropping him right on the back of his head again. The kid was definitely out this time and for his protection, referee Scott Martin stopped the match. There was still about 15 seconds left but no one from the University of Minnesota wanted any more of Angle. Angle finished his part of the exhibition with 3 victories.

The fans cheered as Matt Cruz came into the ring, and a wrestler probably around the 165 pound mark but Angle came back into the ring, cracking a steel chair across the back of Cruz! The young kid from Minnesota looked on in bewilderment and Angle just smashed the chair over his head as well! Martin called for the bell and it rang furiously as Angle threw the chair into the mat and had some strong words for Cruz before leaving the ring to some serious heat.

J.R.: "What in the hell is wrong with Angle?! He's not even gonna let Cruz take his damn challenge and if you asked me, it's cause he's scared"!

Lawler: "Wow, J.R., I never thought I'd hear you call Angle scared"!

J.R.: "Well what else would you call a man who just used a damn steel chair on his opponent and a young kid who's not even in the TWF"!

BACKSTAGE......

KRISTAL IS SHOWN IN THE BACK WITH JASON OLIVER, WHO RECEIVES A HUGE CHEER WHEN HE IS SHOWN ON THE TWF TRON WITH THE KING OF CABLE TITLE OVER HIS SHOULDER.

Kristal: "Jason, later tonight, you will be in action in front of these Canadian fans, but everyone wants to know how you feel about facing J.J. Ramplin for your King of Cable title at WrestleMania".

Jason Oliver: "First off, Kristal, these are my Canadian people. As far as Ramplin goes, he and I have been up and down the roads together. We're both in the early stages of our careers, but being former Horsemen together, he and I know each other well. Then, he went and joined ECW, which I've made no secret I think is a joke and so, J.J. became a joke when he decided to fall under the influence of Joe Corey. So yeah, I'm fine with facing Ramplin at WrestleMania and after I defeat him, maybe he'll realize what a mistake it was to become part of this ECW".

Mark Henry vs. Paul Birchill

After defeating Aldo Corleone last week, Paul Birchill was looking to become Rampage's resident giant killer, but he was way overmatched here. Birchill didn't back down an inch from Henry, and being the quicker of the two, Birchill employed a hit and move strategy. But when he went for a crossbody, the World's Strongest Man just caught him in mid air and threw him throat first over the top ring rope. Birchill struggled to get up, using the ropes to pull himself into the corner when Henry just slammed into him with an avalanche splash. Henry then picked Birchill up and grabbed him by the throat before lifting him up for a gorilla press slam, dropping him to the mat. Henry then went to the middle turnbuckle and flew off with a huge splash, just engulfing Birchill as referee Jose Mendez issued the 1.......2.......3.

Match Time: 3:45

J.R.: "A dominating performance by the World's Strongest Man and you have to ask yourself who wants to get into this man's path".

Lawler: "Look out, J.R., here comes Batista"!

THE CROWD UNLEASHES A LOUD CHEER AS BATISTA RUNS OUT IN A MUSCLE SHIRT AND WARM UP PANTS. HENRY IS WAITING FOR HIM, BUT BATISTA NEARLY LIFTS HIM OFF THE MAT AS HE GETS INTO THE RING AND THE FIGHT IS ON. THE TWO BEHEMOTHS TRADE SHOTS UNTIL OFFICIALS RUN OUT IN MASS, WITH THE REST OF THE REFEREES AND AFTER NEARLY 3 MINUTES, THEY FINALLY GET THE TWO PULLED APART, WHICH THE CROWD DOESN'T LIKE.

Lawler: "Oh let 'em go"!

J.R.: "Batista and Mark Henry have definitely developed a serious hatred for another and they seem to be on a collision course, King"!

Lawler: "Well we've got a great place for that collision course to come to a head and it's called WrestleMania! If I'm Muhammad Hassan, I'm making that match right now"!

COMMERCIAL BREAK.......

A COMMERCIAL FOR MIDAS IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY A PREVIEW FOR THE MOVIE "SHOOTER" STARRING MARK WAHLBERG.

RETURN FROM BREAK......

WHEN RAMPAGE RETURNS, SOME SORT OF AMATUER VIDEO IS SHOWN OF CHARLIE HAAS GIVING SHELTON BENJAMIN A PRE-MATCH MASSAGE. NO WORDS CAN BE HEARD BETWEEN THE TWO, BUT MANY FANS IN THE CROWD CAN BE HEARD LAUGHING.

J.R.: "Well who knows what that was all about, but as we promised earlier, King, we have footage of our current World champion, getting ready for the biggest match of his career at WrestleMania 8"!

Lawler: "Travis Wakeman told everyone he would prepare for this match his way, and his way looks tough".

A TAPE BEGINS TO ROLL OF TRAVIS WAKEMAN's PREPARATION FOR HIS MATCH AT WRESTLEMANIA. IT STARTS OFF BY SHOWING HIM RUNNING THE STAIRS AT THE FOOTBALL FIELD OF A LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL, WEARING ONLY A PAIR OF BASKETBALL SHORTS. THEN, WAKEMAN IS SHOWN AT AN UNKNOWN LOCATION, SPARRING WITH UFC SUPERSTAR RICH FRANKLIN. BOTH MEN ARE WEARING HEAD GEAR AND THROWING SHOTS AT THE OTHER. IT THEN SHOWS FRANKLIN GIVING WAKEMAN SOME ADVISE ON INSIDE FIGHTING TECHNIQUES. FROM THERE, WAKEMAN IS SHOWN INSIDE A DARK GYM. HE IS WEARING A PAIR OF BLUE FINGERLESS GLOVES AND IS JUST BEATING AWAY AT A PUNCHING BAG.

BACK AT THE SADDLE DOME, "WANNA KNOW" BY OBIE TRICE IS PLAYING AND MAX OGDEN IS IN THE RING, GETTING LOOSE WHILE CANDICE MICHELLE STANDS WITH HIM.

J.R.: "Boy I'd say our champ is ready, King".

Lawler: "He's gonna have to be, J.R., he's never faced a challenge quite like this one".

THE WORLD's GREATEST TAG TEAM's MUSIC HITS AND THEY COME OUT TO A VERY POSITIVE REACTION WITH THE TAG TEAM TITLES AROUND EACH OF THEIR WAISTS.

J.R.: "It's hard to say what caused Max Ogden to snap last week, but he definitely did when he came out and hit Shelton Benjamin with a steel chair"!

Lawler: "You heard him earlier, he didn't like Haas and Benjamin taking it upon themselves to take him out of that six man tag team match"!

J.R.: "Come on, King, you can't really believe that? There's something else going on here, something happened to Ogden when he took that fall at Code Red because he's been a changed man! But tonight, he's gotta face the man he decided to smash a steel chair over the head of last week"!

Max Ogden w/ Candice Michelle vs. Shelton Benjamin w/ Charlie Haas

Ogden attacked Benjamin from behind to start the match and he was all over him with shots to the back of the head. He then shot him to the corner and came flying in with a knee but Benjamin moved and smoked him with a superkick. Benjamin then pulled Ogden up and whipped him to the corner, but it was too early for his Shelton splash as Ogden countered with a foot up in the low abdomen area. Ogden then hit a rolling neckbreaker right into the cover for a very near fall. Ogden hit the ropes, but Haas grabbed his foot, looking to trip him up. Ogden pointed a finger at Haas in warning but when he turned around, Benjamin threw a kick. Ogden caught his foot, but Benjamin turned it into the dragon whip. Benjamin then went to the top rope, flying off with a clothesline takedown. He made the cover and got 1..........2.........., but Ogden got a shoulder off the mat. But just then, Benjamin became distracted by a skirmish outside the ring. Candice had distracted Charlie Haas while of all people, Alex Shelley had come out and he drove a tripod into his gut! Benjamin stuck his head through the ring ropes, but Shelley drove the tripod right into his throat area! Referee Chad Patton witnessed the whole thing and asked for the bell, disqualifying Ogden.

Match Time: 4:11

J.R.: "That's..... that's Alex Shelley"!

Lawler: "And what a weapon of choice..... a tripod! This must be the man Ogden was referring to, J.R."!

THE CROWD BOOED WHOLE HAAS CHECKED ON BENJAMIN IN THE RING. MEANWHILE, OGDEN, SHELLEY AND CANDICE STOOD TOGETHER AT THE TOP OF THE STAGE AND THEY WERE VERY HAPPY WITH THEIR WORK.

J.R.: "It's been months since we've seen Shelley in the TWF, but it looks like you were right, King"!

WRESTLEMANIA REPLAY

SHOWS TWO MEN IN THEIR ONLY WRESTLEMANIA APPEARANCES AS PERRY SATURN DEFEATED THE BRUTILE BULLDOG AT WRESTLEMANIA 2.

BACKSTAGE......

IN THE BACK, 3 LADIES ARE SHOWN DANCING AROUND A DISCO BALL AS DUDE LOVE IS SHOWN SITTING IN AN INFLATABLE CHAIR, ENJOYING IT. JUST THEN, MR. KENNEDY COMES UP.

Ken Kennedy: "Get up...... get up, Foley"!

DUDE LOVE STANDS FROM HIS CHAIR AS KENNEDY SHUTS OFF THE DISCO MUSIC THAT IS PLAYING.

Dude Love: "Dude Love, bro, the name's Dude Love".

Kennedy: "Look, since Hassan hasn't been able to get rid of you, he has given in to what you want. But he's enlisted me..... Mister Kennedy, to do the job. So at WrestleMania, down in New Orleans, it's me and you..... and I'm gonna give you the beating of you life, so bad, you'll never want to show your face here in the TWF again".

KENNEDY WALKS AWAY BUT DUDE LOVE SMILES, AS IF GETTING EXACTLY WHAT HE WANTED. HE TURNS THE MUSIC BACK ON AS THE 3 LADIES RESUME THEIR DANCING.

BACK AT RINGSIDE, THE CROWD GOES WILD WHEN "SUPERSTAR" BY SALIVA HITS AND JASON OLIVER STEPS OUT NOT ONLY WITH THE KING OF CABLE TITLE, BUT ALSO A CANADIAN FLAG. JOEY MERCURY IS SHOWN WAITING IN THE RING.

J.R.: "This is what these folks have been waiting for! Their King of Cable is ready for action not only tonight, but at WrestleMania"!

Lawler: "Joey Mercury seems to have entered a bit of a hornet's nest here, J.R."!

J.R.: "The King of Cable title will not be on the line in this one as Oliver gets ready for his showdown with J.J. Ramplin at WrestleMania"!

Non-Title Match

Joey Mercury vs. King of Cable: Jason Oliver

Mercury tried to drown out the cheering crowd by attacking Oliver before the bell, but Mercury didn't stay in control long. After several stiff right hands, Mercury hit a jump kick to the back of the head. But when he came off the middle turnbuckle with a legdrop, he missed everything as Oliver rolled out of the way. Focused, Oliver waited for Mercury to get to his feet, picking his leg out from under him when he did. Oliver then grabbed the right leg of Mercury, twisting it very awkwardly in a bit of a reverse ankle lock. Mercury fought free with his left foot, but Oliver stayed on the attack, picking Mercury up and driving him into the mat with a spinebuster. Oliver obviously wanted to keep the match on the mat, where he felt he had the real advantage, but Mercury did everything he could to block all submission holds before finally just rolling out of the ring. Oliver followed him out, but that's exactly what Mercury wanted, getting in a kick to the gut before ramming Oliver face first into the steel ring post. Mercury then rolled Oliver back into the ring, before using the ropes to slingshot himself in from the apron with an elbow, but Oliver kicked out of a cover at 2. Mercury pulled him up and whipped him to the corner where he followed in with a yakuza kick that jacked the head of Oliver back. Woozy, Oliver stumbled out of the corner as Mercury hit the ropes but he missed with a clothesline and Oliver grabbed him and pulled him down to the mat with a rear naked choke. There was nowhere for Mercury to go, and he tapped out, conceding the match.

Match Time: 6:51

J.R.: "Just like that! Just like that it can be over and that could be J.J. Ramplin at WrestleMania"!

BEFORE OLIVER CAN DO MUCH CELEBRATING, HE IS ATTACKED BY JOHNNY NITRO!

Lawler: "Wait... what's this"?!

J.R.: "That's Johnny Nitro"!

NITRO AND MERCURY, FORMER TAG TEAM PARTNERS, BEAT OLIVER DOWN BEFORE DELIVERING THEIR OLD TRADEMARK MOVE, THE "DIRECTOR's CUT". SUDDENLY, THE REST OF ECW MAKES THEIR WAY DOWN TO THE RING FROM THE DARK CORNER OF THE ARENA AS "MISERIA CANTARE" PLAYS. JOE COREY ENTERS THE RING ALONG WITH J.J. RAMPLIN AND SYLVESTER TERKAY. WHEN OLIVER GETS UP, TERKAY DROPS HIM WITH HIS VICIOUS RIGHT HAND! THE CROWD HAMMERS THE ARENA WITH BOOS.

J.R.: "The ECW has come out here and they are trying to destroy Jason Oliver"!

JOE COREY HAS TWO ECW T-SHIRTS AND HE TOSSES THEM TO MERCURY AND NITRO.

Lawler: "Look at this, J.R., it looks like ECW has just gotten bigger"!

J.R.: "I can't believe this"!

J.J. RAMPLIN GRABS THE CANADIAN FLAG THAT OLIVER CAME TO THE RING WITH, AND BRINGS IT INTO THE RING. PAUL HEYMAN PULLS OUT A CANDLE LIGHTER AS THE CROWD IS IN SHOCK.

Lawler: "They can't be thinking of doing this".

J.R.: "No! Don't do it! Somebody get out here and stop this"!

HEYMAN HANDS THE LIGHTER TO RAMPLIN, WHO SETS THE CANADIAN FLAG ABLAZE! THE FANS BOO LOUDER THAN EVER, AND SECURITY EVEN HAS TO STOP A FEW FANS WHO TRIED TO COME OVER THE GUARDRAIL. RAMPLIN DROPS THE BURNING FLAG TO THE MAT, WHERE A CREW IS READY TO DOUSE IT WITH FIRE EXTINGUISHERS.

J.R.: "I've seen a lot of things in my time here in the TWF, but never, never have I seen anything like this"!

Lawler: "It's one thing to send a message to your opponents, but ECW just crossed the line".

"MISERIA CANTARE" PLAYS AGAIN AS ECW LEAVES TO SOME SERIOUS HEAT. OLIVER IS OUT IN THE RING, NEXT TO WHAT IT LEFT OF THE CANADIAN FLAG.

J.R.: "I'm am absolutely disgusted and for the first time in my life, I'm ashamed to be associated with something that has happened in this great company"!

COMMERCIAL BREAK........

A COMMERCIAL FOR COMCAST IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY A USA PROGRAMMING AD FOR LAW & ORDER.

RETURN FROM BREAK.... MUHAMMAD HASSAN's OFFICE.....

WHEN RAMPAGE RETURNS, MAX OGDEN, ALEX SHELLEY AND CANDICE ARE SHOWN IN HASSAN's OFFICE.

Max Ogden: "That's right, we're gonna be known as Eye Spy".

Muhammad Hassan: "Alex Shelley, welcome to my reformed Rampage, you two have your Tag Team title shot at WrestleMania".

HASSAN SHAKES HANDS WITH BOTH OGDEN AND SHELLEY AND STARTS TO WATCH CANDICE WALK AWAY WHEN OF ALL PEOPLE, HIGH OCTANE ENTERS THE OFFICE.

Hassan: "Well, you are gonna decide to show up. How's the rehab going"?

High Octane: "Great, I'll be back in no time".

Hassan: "So, have you thought about my offer"?

High Octane: "I have, and I'll do it".

Hassan: "Excellent. The main event for WrestleMania between Money Mike and Travis Wakeman now has the perfect guest referee. You do know who I would like to see win this match, right"?

High Octane: "I've followed things since I've been out, I know".

Hassan: "Perfect, there will be a bonus for you if things go the way they need to go".

MONEY MIKE AND HIS PERSONAL CAMERA CREW ARE SHOWN AGAIN AND THE CAMERA FOLLOWS THE NUMBER CONTENDER ENTER A BAR. MONEY MIKE LOOKS AROUND AND SEES A MAN SITTING BY HIMSELF AT A TABLE. HE GETS A SMILE ON HIS FACE AS THE MAN TAKES A SIP OF BEER.

MONEY MIKE WALKS OVER AND PULLS UP A CHAIR.

Money Mike: "Remember me?

THE MAN JUST LOOKS AT MIKE, ODDLY.

Well, I remember you. Your son is defending his title against me at WrestleMania 8. Everyone looks up to your son, like he's some kind of role model. But it's clear he never looked up to you, did he? It's clear what kind of a background Travis comes from, so why do people love him so much? They do because they don't know the truth, do they? Isn't it true that you're an alcoholic?

THE MAN TAKES ANOTHER DRINK OF BEER, STARING AT MIKE WITH A SET OF GLAZED EYES.

Well the truth about your son will be revealed after I whip his ass in our match as well. People may not love me, I could care less, but they sure will see him in a different night. It's been nice chatting with you, you worthless waste of skin".

MIKE GETS UP FROM THE TABLE TO LEAVE BUT THE MAN PUTS HIS BEER ON THE TABLE.

Man (with very slurred speech): "He's gonna kick your ass".

MIKE STOPS AND GETS A GRIN ON HIS FACE BEFORE TURNING BACK AND WALKING UP TO THE MAN BEFORE SHOVING HIM OVER IN HIS CHAIR. SOMEONE ACROSS THE BAR YELLS "GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE"! MIKE LEAVES LAUGHING AS A FEW OF THE BAR PATRONS WALK HIM OUT.

BACK TO LIVE ACTION, ECW HAS EMERGED FROM THE CORNER OF THE ARENA AS "MISERIA CANTARE" PLAYS AND THEY MARCH THROUGH THE CROWD, TO THE RING.

J.R.: "I can't believe the audacity of Money Mike! First his old wrestling coach, and now Wakeman's father"?!

Lawler: "Money Mike is out to prove a point here, J.R., the point being that there's nothing special about Travis Wakeman"!

J.R.: "And apparently our esteemed general manager, and I do use that term loosely, has some sort of hired gun in High Octane as the guest referee for that match"!

THE LIGHTS GO OUT AND THE FANS STAND IN THEIR SEATS AS "IN MY DARKEST HOUR" BY MEGADEATH PLAYS AND NEMESIS MAKES HIS WAY TO THE RING AS SYLVESTER TERKAY STANDS IN THE RING, THROWING PUNCHES TO GET WARMED UP.

Lawler: "High Octane has history with both those guys but here he comes, J.R., it's all on the line here for this guy"!

J.R.: "A shot at the ECW World title is on the line here for Nemesis! If he can't defeat Sylvester Terkay here, the match between he and Corey for WrestleMania is off"!

Lawler: "Well it's a tall, tall task against the manbear".

Sylvester Terkay vs. Nemesis

As Nemesis looked around the ring, he saw not only Joe Corey, but the rest of ECW standing out there. Terkay took advantage, moving in with shots to the body as the bell sounded. Nemesis did his best to cover up as the one time MMA fighter came at him. Terkay pounded Nemesis with punches to the ribs and kidneys before pulling him out and throwing a roundhouse kick to the head. But Nemesis actually caught his leg and grabbed him by the throat. But Terkay swatted Nemesis' hand away and delivered a textbook belly to belly suplex. With Nemesis on the mat, Terkay went into a fujiwara armbar but Nemesis used his long left arm to grab the bottom ring rope to break the hold. But referee Jimmy Korderas saw Johnny Nitro trying to mess with the ropes, pulling them away from Nemesis. Due to this, Korderas sent the entire group, including Paul Heyman, to the back! The fans loved this and it was the opening Nemesis needed. Nemesis blocked a right hand from Terkay before popping him with 3 soupbone right hands. Off an irish whip, Nemesis kicked Terkay right in the face. He then pulled him up and shot him to the corner, following in with a power clothesline. Terkay stumbled out of the corner and Nemesis delivered a chokeslam with authority. The fans could sense what was coming next, and Nemesis pulled Terkay in, delivering the "Shut Down" for the very convincing win.

Match Time: 6:55

J.R.: "There ya go! Hell of a way to get retribution there"!

Lawler: "Well we know what Nemesis is all about, J.R., he always seems hellbent on revenge"!

AS "IN MY DARKEST HOUR" PLAYS, THE FANS CHEER AND JOE COREY COMES BACK OUT ON THE STAGE, STARING ACROSS THE ARENA AT NEMESIS BEFORE RAISING UP HIS ECW WORLD TITLE BELT. AN UNPHASED NEMESIS JUST LOOKS ON.

J.R.: "Nemesis has earned the right and the match is on! Can he overcome ECW and defeat their champion?! If you ask me..... the answer is yes"!
