The stars of Rampage were fresh off a successful trip to Greece and the fans in New Haven were ready for their return to the states. The Hollywood Blondes vs. Jonny Storm and Shark Boy (invitees) The Hollywood Blondes of ECW started the night off with an impressive tag team victory over the team of Shark Boy and the englishman Jonny Storm. Mercury and Nitro were able to put Storm away after the "Snapshot". Luyu Dawnstar vs. Tiana Taylor (invitee) Longtime TWF fans were thrilled to see Tiana Taylor in the ring. It had been 5 years since her last TWF match but she looked like she still had it. Luyu hung tough though against the first and only TWF Queen of the Ring and when Taylor missed a moonsault off the top rope, Luyu delivered the "Eagle's Landing" to get the win. Charlie Haas w/ Shelton Benjamin vs. Trevor Murdoch w/ Lance Cade Trevor Murdoch was looking to gain his team some momentum towards a future title shot against one half of the Rampage tag team champions, Charlie Haas. After catching Murdoch with a big powerslam, Haas hit the ropes but Cade grabbed his foot. Haas turned and took a swing at Cade but missed. Shelton Benjamin ran over and pounded Cade with a right hand. But in the ring, Haas turned right into a kick to the gut before Murdoch hit an insane DDT before rolling Haas over for the 3 count. After the match, Benjamin came in to check on his partner while Cade and Murdoch left to plenty of boos. RAMPAGE GOES LIVE
RAMPAGE COMES ON THE AIR AND THE OPENING MONTAGE ROLLS WHILE "TO BE LOVED" PLAYS. THE ARENA COMES INTO THE SHOT, BURSTING WITH PYRO AS THE CAMERA SWIFTLY PANS THE STANDS, FINDING THOUSANDS OF LOUD, EXCITED TWF FANS. Jim Ross: "We are up in the great northeast for another jam packed edition of TWF Rampage! Thank you for joining us, we are live and with me as always is the King, Jerry Lawler"! Jerry Lawler: "And this has been one rowdy crowd as we've been sitting here the last few minutes, they know we have a huge night in store"! "I'M THE BOOGEYMAN.... AND I'M COMIN' TO GETCHA" IS HEARD AND RED SMOKE FILLS THE ENTRANCE BEFORE THE BOOGEYMAN COMES CRAWLING OUT TO MOSTLY CHEERS. HE STANDS UP WITH HIS OVERSIZED CLOCK IN HIS MOUTH AND HE IS CARRYING SOME KIND OF STAFF THAT IS SPEWING THE SAME RED SMOKE. J.R.: "These great fans in New Haven will witness The Rock's first singles match in several years but we're starting off with one of the freakiest superstars we've ever seen"! Lawler: "Look at this guy, J.R.! He has a diet of worms.... and more worms"! EYE SPY's MUSIC HITS AND CANDICE MICHELLE STEPS OUT TO A BUNCH OF BOOS AND FOLLOWING HER CLOSELY IS BOTH MAX OGDEN AND ALEX SHELLEY. SHELLEY IS CARRYING A TRIPOD AND VIDEO CAMCORDER. J.R.: "He is strange to say the least and we know he has been a huge thorn in the side of Eye Spy, defeating Alex Shelley last week". Lawler: "Candice, you might want to come sit over here, away from this freak"! J.R.: "Tonight it will be the other half of Eye Spy, Max Ogden and no offense to Alex Shelley, but Ogden is a much more accomplished singles competitor and should provide The Boogeyman a handful of problems". The Boogeyman vs. Max Ogden w/ Candice and Alex Shelley The bell sounded and Boogeyman circled Ogden, making weird gyrations with his body. Finally, Ogden move in and just stuck a right hand, but Boogeyman smiled, showing it had no effect. Boogeyman then reached into his pocket but Ogden kicked him in the midsection and smashed him with 2 stiff forearms to the head. He went for an irish whip, but Boogeyman reversed it, only to put his head down too early and eat a kick from Ogden. Boogeyman tried to get up, but as Ogden had referee Chad Patton pulled away, Shelley got in a few cheap shots before choking Boogeyman over the middle rope. As Boogeyman lay outstretched over the middle rope, Ogden went to the top rope and came off with an unbelievable legdrop on the back of Boogeyman's head. Ogden quickly got into the ring and went for the cover, but Boogeyman was up at 2! Ogden couldn't believe it, but he stayed on the attack. After a basement dropkick, he pulled Boogeyman up and kicked him several times in the midsection but after running the ropes, Ogden was flattened with a clothesline. Boogeyman followed up with a scoop slam and another clothesline. But when he ran the ropes, Candice grabbed his foot. The crowd became very excited as Boogeyman reached through the ropes and grabbed Candice, starting to pull her into the ring. But from behind, Ogden came and rolled Boogeyman up for the 1........2........., but no, Boogeyman was up again. Ogden rocked Boogeyman with several right hands but again, they weren't doing any damage. After slapping Boogeyman across the face, Ogden hit the ropes but Boogeyman grabbed him by the throat and tried to pick him up, but Ogden raked his eyes. Ogden went for a DDT but Boogeyman blocked it and threw Ogden over him with a backbody drop. He then scooped Ogden up and took him to the mat with his reverse falling slam before rolling him over for the 3 count. Candice and Shelley were in disbelief as The Boogeyman's music hit. Match Time: 8:58 Lawler: "Oh no, J.R., not this"! AS BOOGEYMAN's MUSIC PLAYED, HE REACHED INTO HIS POCKET AND PULLED OUT A HANDFUL OF LIVE WORMS, STUFFING THEM INTO THE MOUTH OF OGDEN. BOOGEYMAN THEN SNATCHED THE CAMCORDER RIGHT OUT OF SHELLEY's HANDS AND BEGAN RECORDING IT. J.R.: "Well Eye Spy still can't solve their Boogeyman problem.... it's just getting worse and worse, King"! Lawler: "Somebody needs to do something about this idiot and his worms"! COMMERCIAL BREAK........ "DON'T PLAY WITH FIRE" BY 2 PAC COMES ON AND AUSTIN PYROMANIA STEPS OUT FROM THE BACK WITH TAYLOR MADE AND KELLY, WHO ARE ARM IN ARM. THE TRIO IS MET BY A HUGE CHEER. J.R.: "What a feeling it is to here this music again, King"! Lawler: "You never told me you like rap, J.R.". J.R.: "Well, I wouldn't say that I do, but it's so good to see Austin Pyromania back in the TWF, one of the multitiude of surprises we took in a few weeks ago on our seven year anniversary special"! ERIC PEREZ, PYROMANIA's OPPONENT FOR THIS MATCH, IS SHOWN IN THE RING AFTER BEING INTRODUCED BY LILIAN GARCIA. Lawler: "Well not only did Pyromania come back, he made quite a bit of noise in doing so"! J.R.: "Everyone knows of the history between Pyro and Taylor Made, but once he got into the problems he's had with the TWF's royal couple, he called on his old friend for help". Austin Pyromania w/ Taylor Made and Kelly vs. Eric Perez (invitee) The bell sounded and the two men came out with some basic chain wrestling. Despite his long layoff, Pyromania looked to be in tip top form, showing no signs of ring rust. Perez was able to score with 2 stiff forearms but Pyro reversed an irish whip and caught him with a hurracanrana. After a whip to the corner, Pyromania followed in with a reverse heel kick right to the face. Pyro then went to the top rope, taking out Perez with a missile dropkick. Pyro pulled him up and went for an irish whip, but this time, Perez reversed it and caught him with a big powerslam. Perez got Pyro up and pushed him into the corner, rocking him with 3 right hands. Referee Jose Mendez moved in and warned Perez not to close his fist on his punches and Perez pulled Pyromania out. He then hit the ropes, looking for a lariat clothesline but he missed everything and Pyro got in a kick to the gut before hitting the "Pyrotechnics", a move that has been absent for some time, and he covered Perez for the win. Match Time: 4:17 Lawler: "Well I think it's safe to say that Austin Pyromania is officially back"! J.R.: "After that performance, you're dang right he is"! "DON'T PLAY WITH FIRE" PLAYED AGAIN AS PYROMANIA ACCEPTED CONGRATULATIONS FROM TAYLOR MADE AND KELLY. Lawler: "It's all fun and games right now, J.R., but I guarantee that Money Mike hasn't forgotten about the seven year anniversary show"! TWF RE-WIND SHOWS THE SCUFFLE BETWEEN JILLIAN HALL, MICKIE JAMES AND ASHLEY K. IN THE BACKSTAGE AREA ON THE 7 YEAR ANNIVERSARY SHOW. Non-Title Match Jillian Hall vs. Women's Champ: Ashley K. Mickie James joined the broadcast to provide some guest commentary, and she was very negative towards both women. J.R. commented that a win by Jillian might make her the number one contender, but Mickie still feels she has that spot. Both women show a lot of athleticism but after avoiding a clothesline in the corner, Ashley took Jillian down with a tornado DDT for a near fall. Ashley pulled Jillian to her feet and pushed her into the corner before slapping her right across the face. Jillian grabbed Ashley by the hair and threw her to the mat, climbing on top of her and grabbing her by the throat. Referee Jack Doan moved in, trying to seperate the fiesty ladies, but she caught an inadvertent backhand from Jillian. This allowed Ashley to rake her across the before picking her up and lifting her to the top turnbuckle. The Women's champion went to climb up with Jillian, but Jillian pasted her with 2 hard forearms before using a sunset flip right into a powerbomb. Jillian then ran the ropes and used a back handspring into a big elbow drop before hooking Ashley's leg and getting the 1.......2.........3 for an impressive win. Match Time: 7:01 Mickie James removed her headset and stared at Jillian, whose music played while she motioned around her waist, suggesting she will be the next Women's champion. COMMERCIAL BREAK....... A COMMERCIAL FOR STATE FARM INSURANCE IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY ONE FOR GATORADE FEATURING DEREK JETER. RETURN FROM BREAK... RINGSIDE..... AS SOON AS RAMPAGE RETURNS, "SOMEBODY's GONNA GET IT" BY THREE SIX MAFIA HITS AND MARK HENRY STEPS OUT TO A HOARD OF BOOS. J.R.: "We are back live here on USA and you are looking at the self proclaimed king of the jungle"! Lawler: "I don't think it's gonna be self proclaimed for long, it's gonna be nationally recognized if he keeps destroying the competition the way he has been"! "THE NEXT EPISODE" BY DR. DRE HITS AND MATT CRUZ COMES OUT TO A GREAT POP. J.R.: "Matt Cruz, Jason Oliver and Nemesis have been putting their heads together as to how to slay the dragon if you will, but so far, to little success". Lawler: "Well we saw what Henry did to Nemesis last week while we were in Greece and now, Cruz is standing in his way"! J.R.: "Cruz loves to rely on his amatuer wrestling background, but I don't see that being too effective in this one". Mark Henry vs. Matt "Madik" Cruz The bell rang to get things going and Cruz came right at Henry, locking up with him. Henry shoved Cruz to the mat, showing off his incredible power. Cruz went right back at him and this time, used a go behind. But he couldn't even wrap his arms around the massive frame of Henry, who smashed him with a back elbow before dropping him with a clothesline. Henry hit the ropes but missed badly with an elbow drop, and Cruz tried to make something out of it, locking in a front facelock. Cruz had it in deep, but Henry stood up with Cruz and just threw him forward. Cruz got up and stumbled into the corner, only to have Henry slam into him with an avalanche splash. Henry then shot Cruz to the opposite corner and came running in again but this time, Cruz moved. Cruz then hit the ropes and took Henry down with a chop block to the back of the right knee. After a few right hands, Cruz tried to pick Henry up, but that was a mistake. Henry fell to the mat with Cruz, landing on top of him. He almost got the 3 count but actually broke the cover himself, pulling Cruz up for the "World's Strongest Slam". Cruz hit the mat with a ton of impact and Henry covered him for the win. Match Time: 6:43 J.R.: "There is another example of Mark Henry's dominance, he just overpowered Cruz for the win, King". Lawler: "I don't see anyone here on Rampage, maybe anyone in the entire TWF who can deal with this guy, J.R., the king of the jungle, and it takes king to know a king"! "SOMEBODY's GONNA GET IT" PLAYED AGAIN AS HENRY WALKED BACK UP THE RAMP WHILE CRUZ SLOWLY PULLED HIMSELF UP IN THE RING, USING THE ROPES. J.R.: "This is a dangerous, dangerous force folks, no doubt about it"! BACKSTAGE AREA...... CAMERAS IN THE BACK CATCH UP WITH CHRIS PLATOON, WHO COMES UP TO REFEREE JIM KORDERAS. Chris Platoon: "Did you happen to see my match with Tyrone Zorilla on the seven year anniversary show"? Jim Korderas: "Sure did". Platoon: "I said I'd make an impact, didn't I? PLATOON WALKS PAST KORDERAS AND FINDS TWF AGENT STEVE KEIRN. "Did you see what I did to Zorilla"? Steve Keirn: "Very impressive". PLATOON SEES TRINITY AND JESSICA LOPEZ TALKING IN THE BACK AND HE GOES UP TO THEM. Platoon: "What about you girls, could you put the curling irons and eyeliner down long enough to see my match with Zorilla"? TRINITY AND LOPEZ JUST LOOK AT EACH OTHER. Trinity: "Whatever dude". Platoon: "What? What the hell is that supposed to mean"?! Voice: "She means nobody cares". THE CAMERA PANS OVER TO SHOW THE MAJOR BROTHERS. Platoon: "What did you say"? PLATOON STARTS TO APPROACH THEM Brett Major: "He said nobody cares........ Platoon: "Oh, nobody cares, huh"? JUST THEN, PLATOON CRACKS BRETT MAJOR WITH A RIGHT HAND. BRIAN COMES OVER BUT PLATOON KICKS HIM LOW IN THE GROIN AND THROWS HIM FACE FIRST INTO THE WALL. PLATOON THEN GRABS BRETT AND WHIPS HIM RIGHT OVER A TABLE. BRETT LANDS HARD ON HIS HEAD AFTER TUMBLING OVER THE TABLE. PLATOON LOOKS TO GO AFTER BRIAN AGAIN, BUT STEVE KEIRN COMES OVER AND PULLS HIM OFF. Steve Keirn: "That's enough, Platoon"! Platoon: "Who doesn't care now?! You guys still think you're funny"?! "MISTERRRRRRR KENNEDYYYYYY" IS HEARD AND KEN KENNEDY COMES OUT TO HIS MUSIC AND A PRETTY STRONG CHEER. J.R.: "What the heck is wrong with that guy"? Lawler: "Chris Platoon promised to make an impact here on Rampage, and he's doing just that"! J.R.: "I'm interested to see exactly how far Platoon can go with an attitude like that, no matter what kind of impact he's made in his first few weeks here". WILLIAM REGAL COMES OUT AS HIS MUSIC PLAYS AND HE GETS A GOOD CHEER AS WELL. Lawler: "You might be surprised, I think he'll do just fine here on Rampage! Just think, you never thought you'd see these two team up a few weeks ago"! J.R.: "It was a few weeks back that we saw these two men in a bit of a tense situation backstage, but later that night, Kennedy came to Regal's aid against ECW, who they will battle tonight". THE LIGHTS GO OUT AND BOOS ENGULF THE ARENA AS FANS KNOW RIGHT AWAY WHAT IS COMING. "MISERIA CANTARE" BY AFI HITS AND THE ECW ENTRANCE IS SHOWN IN THE CROWD. SECONDS LATER, ELIJAH BURKE AND SYLVESTER TERKAY COME OUT TOGETHER. Lawler: "I think Regal and Kennedy will make a very formidable team, but no one can deny what ECW is doing here in the TWF! Look at our most recent pay-per-view event, Payback"! J.R.: "There's no doubt ECW has accomplished everything they've set out to do and they are getting more and more dangerous by the day! Burke and Terkay together like to call themselves the Knockout-Tapout Connection"! Lawler: "Take a look at the words on Elijah Burke's wrist tape, it says four up. You know what that means, J.R."? J.R.: "Not off hand". Lawler: "Ask one of Burke's opponents one of these times, I'm sure they'll be able to tell you"! ECW: Sylvester Terkay and Elijah Burke vs. Mr. Kennedy and William Regal As the bell sounds, Regal gets into the ring with Burke. The two men lock up, and the veteran Regal easily takes Burke to the mat and locks in a hammerlock. Burke tries to grab Regal for a snap mare, but Regal fights it off and delivers a backdrop suplex right on Burke's trapped arm. Burke rolls over in pain and makes the tag to Terkay, bringing in the Manbear. Regal comes right at him with a few forearms right to the head, but Terkay fights him off. Regal runs in again, but Terkay kicks him in the upper arm before pulling him in for a big belly to belly suplex. With Regal down, Burke gladly asks to be tagged back in and he comes in, putting the boots to him. Burke makes a cover, but Regal is up at 2. Burke keeps the pressure on and he and Terkay made several tags in and out. Regal kicks out of 7 pinning predicaments before catching Burke coming in with a knee to the abdomen followed by a running knee to the head. Regal falls to the mat with Burke, unable to make the cover. But almost 8 minutes into the match, Regal is able to bring Kennedy in for the first time. Kennedy comes in and goes right at Burke, rocking him with right hands before pulling him into a neckbreaker drop. After a big scoop slam, Kennedy goes to the apron and starts to climb the turnbuckle when Terkay comes over. But Kennedy catches him with a right hand before Burke comes over and pops him with a right of his own. Burke then brings Kennedy in with a suplex before making the tag to Terkay. Terkay comes in and targets the right arm of Kennedy, trying render it useless. The crowd starts to get behind Kennedy while Terkay has him in a standing armbar. Kennedy gets in some shots with his free right hand, but he can shake free and Terkay lifts him up by the twisted right arm before just dropping him to the mat. Burke tags back into the match and after circling Kennedy, he turns and just kicks Regal in the face, knocking him to the floor. But when Burke turns back around, Kennedy uses a small package and nearly steals the match. Burke is surprised, but Kennedy goes on the offensive, taking it to Burke. After a big powerslam, Kennedy catches Burke with a spin kick to the abdomen before drilling him with a running clothesline. Kennedy lets out a fired up yell, bringing the crowd to life. Kennedy gets Burke up on his shoulders but drops him when he sees J.J. Ramplin coming down the ramp. Ramplin is holding up his King of Cable title, taunting Kennedy. Kennedy goes to the foot of the ring, daring Ramplin to get in, but it turns out to be a mistake as Burke comes from behind with a running double knee to the back, a move he calls the "Elijah Express" and he covers Kennedy, hooking both legs for the 3 count. Match Time: 11:08 Lawler: "He got him"! J.R.: "Kennedy took his eye off the ball and it ended up costing his team"! "MISERIA CANTARE" PLAYED AGAIN WHILE BURKE, TERKAY AND RAMPLIN CELEBRATED THE VICTORY AMID THE BOOING CROWD. IN THE RING, REGAL AND KENNEDY LOOKED ON, VERY ANGRY OVER WHAT JUST HAPPENED. Lawler: "The wins just keep piling up for ECW". J.R.: "Well there will be a time when J.J. Ramplin has to put that King of Cable title on the line against the number one contender, Kennedy, and things might go a little bit different when he does! But don't go away, because up next, Taz will take on Snitsky"! COMMERCIAL BREAK....... A COMMERCIAL FOR STARBURST IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY ONE FOR ENERGIZER BATTERIES. RETURN FROM BREAK..... J.R.: "Folks we are back and the buzz in the arena now is due to what just happened during the break....... Lawler: "Well Tatanka came to the ring and began another rant about his Native American heritage and someone sort of crashed the party"! J.R.: "Let's take a look at the replay". DURING THE BREAK, TATANKA COMES TO THE RING WITH NEW FACEPAINT WHICH IS ALL WHITE WITH BLACK AROUND HIS MOUTH AND EYES. HE THEN GETS A MICROPHONE AND SAYS HE HAS BEGAN A NEW MISSION, TAKING NO PRISONERS, FIGHTING FOR HIS LONG DISRESPECTED NATIVE AMERICAN HERITAGE. BUT HIS SPEECH IS INTERRUPTED WHEN "TNT" BY AC/DC HITS AND CHRIS TIRPAK MAKES HIS WAY THROUGH THE CROWD, CARRYING A KENDO STICK. TATANKA DARES HIM TO GET IN THE RING, AND WHEN HE DOES, TATANKA GOES AFTER HIM BUT TIRPAK WHIPS HIM ACROSS THE LEGS WITH THE KENDO STICK BEFORE SMASHING IT OVER HIS HEAD. THE CROWD GOES WILD AS TATANKA LAYS IN THE RING AND TIRPAK RAISES THE KENDO STICK UP IN HIS RIGHT HAND. WHEN THE ACTION GOES BACK LIVE, SNITSKY IS IN THE RING, PACING BACK AND FORTH AS HIS MUSIC PLAYS WITH A WEIRD VOICE CONTINUALLY SAYING "SNITSKY". Lawler: "This new attitude of Chris Tirpak is something these people love, but it's only a matter of time before he does that to the wrong person". "BEFORE I FORGET" BY SLIPKNOT HITS AND TAZ COMES OUT TO A GOOD REACTION FROM THE CROWD. J.R.: "I've just been informed that Tatanka is in the back, going crazy more or less, but we're gonna keep it right here for this next match between Snitsky and Taz, who will be making his singles debut here on Rampage after a recent trade brought him over from PrimeTime". Lawler: "This should be a good one J.R., the street thug from Brooklyn against the deranged Snitsky". Snitsky vs. Taz Taz and Snitsky met in the center of the ring, trading shots. Taz seemed to have much more behind his punches, but Snitsky used his height advantage to get in a big knee to the midsection before dropping Taz with a right hand. Snitsky then dropped a big elbow across the chest of Taz before getting up and grabbing the ring ropes, yelling at the crowd who just responded with boos. Snitsky went back at Taz but Taz grabbed his legs and just took him down to the mat. Taz then locked in a fujiwara armbar, and Snitsky was in a lot of trouble. Taz couldn't get the submission so he broke the hold. Snitsky tried to get up, but Taz stood over him and blasted him with swinging forearms to each side of the head before going for the "Tazmission". He just about had it locked in, but Snitsky showed tremendous strength, standing up with Taz on his back and driving him into the turnbuckle by running backwards. Snitsky then shot Taz to the ropes but missed with a clothesline and Taz hit a very nice belly to belly suplex. Snitsky got up and stumbled into the corner. Taz came and climbed to the middle turnbuckle before just reigning down on Snitsky with right hands. After getting hit with 7 punches, Snitsky pushed Taz off and shook off the cobwebs before going for his running boot, but Taz moved and Snitsky smashed referee Scott Martin with it. Taz then caught Snitsky with a release german suplex before giving the signal that it was over. But Taz saw Martin down and tried to help him up. While he did, Snitsky reached into his tights and pulled out some sort of foreign object. Taz turned back to Snitsky and got hit right in the face with whatever it was. Snitsky rolled the object back into his tights and fell onto Taz as a very shaken Martin made a very slow 3 count. Match Time: 7:07 *Note: Just thought I would mention that this scenario with the ref going down and Snitsky getting a foreign object really happened. I thought it was cool cause I didn't even know this stuff was in the game. J.R.: "He hit him with something"! Lawler: "What?! Yeah he did hit him with something, his fist"! J.R.: "Oh come on, King, you're watching the same damn thing I am! Snitsky got something out of his tights"! MARTIN CHECKED ON TAZ IN THE RING, WHO WAS IN A SEATED POSITION BUT STILL SEEING STARS. A VERY PSYCHOTIC LOOKING SNITSKY STOOD IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ENTRANCE RAMP, LOOKING BACK. Lawler: "Well take a look at that man. That look, those mustard yellow teeth! Snitsky could become a very dangerous superstar here on Rampage, folks"! BACKSTAGE...... IN THE BACKSTAGE AREA, CAMERAS SHOW TAZ COME THROUGH THE CURTAIN FROM THE ARENA AND WHEN HE TURNS THE CORNER, HE RUNS INTO MONEY MIKE, WHO IS ON HIS WAY TO THE RING. MONEY MIKE JUST GRINS AS TAZ STARES BACK WITH A SERIOUS LOOK ON HIS FACE. THE SHOT GOES TO ANOTHER PART OF THE BACKSTAGE AREA, WHERE TODD GRISHAM IS STANDING WITH JASON OLIVER OUTSIDE HIS DRESSING ROOM. Todd Grisham: "I'm here at this time with Jason Oliver and Jason, in the last two weeks, we've seen Mark Henry defeat both Nemesis and Matt Cruz. What do you have planned, if anything, to stop the king of the jungle"? Jason Oliver: "Well, I didn't realize that it was my problem, Todd, but I guess I'll talk with Nem and Matt and we'll see what we can come up with". JASON OLIVER WALKS AWAY AS THE SHOT GOES BACK TO THE RING. "KING OF KINGS" BY MOTORHEAD HITS AND MONEY MIKE MAKES HIS WAY TO THE RING. HE IS GREETED BY SOME OF THE LOUDEST BOOS OF THE NIGHT. J.R.: "If you ask me, Jason Oliver doesn't seem to care about that situation". Lawler: "Well it was kind of a stupid question from Grisham. I mean, it's not Jason Oliver's job to take care of Mark Henry"! J.R.: "No, but he should be willing to help out two guys who are supposed to be his allies who have been willing to get into the ring and take their lumps"! Money Mike: "A few weeks ago, on the TWF's seven year anniversary show, Taylor Made brought back his good buddy Austin Pyromania! THE CROWD CHEERS Yeah, I know all of you idiots think that's great, but let me assure you that it was a big mistake! Taylor..... Pyromania..... you want to mess with the King of the TWF, you're just killing your own careers! Now, we have a little pay-per-view coming up called Anarchy Rulz, where all these stupid people that tune into the TWF get to vote! So I had a little idea. Taylor, you want to bring back one of your old friends, I've decided to do the same. Before I came to the TWF, I was part of what was known as the GSE..... a place where others gave you respect for being great! So at Anarchy Rulz.... you people will get to choose my tag team partner, from a crop of former GSE superstars to face Taylor Made and Austin Pyromania! Choose wisely......... MONEY MIKE LAUGHS BEFORE DROPPING THE MICROPHONE AS "KING OF KINGS" PLAYS AGAIN. J.R.: "That's a bit of a surprise"! Lawler: "To be perfectly honest, J.R., I don't know why Money Mike would want to team with any of those guys"! J.R.: "Well it remains to be seen who will be on the poll, but it is a curious decision. To my knowledge, most of those guys don't even compete anymore"! Lawler: "That's if they're not behind bars"! COMMERCIAL BREAK........ A COMMERCIAL FOR VERIZON WIRELESS IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY ONE FOR eBay. RETURN FROM BREAK.... BACKSTAGE..... WHEN RAMPAGE RETURNS, MUHAMMAD HASSAN IS SHOWN IN HIS OFFICE WHEN TATANKA BURSTS IN. Tatanka: "Did you see that"?! Muhammad Hassan: "Yes, and if I knew Tirpak planned to...... Tatanka: "Hassan, you know all too well about discrimination, and I am through putting up with it! I want Tirpak in the ring"! Hassan: "I'll work on it and get it done". BACK AT RINGSIDE, CHRIS MASTERS IS AT THE BROADCAST TABLE AND HIS MUSIC IS PLAYING. AFTER GRABBING A HEADSET, HE SETS THE TWF WORLD TITLE DOWN ON THE TABLE. J.R.: "It appears as though we are going to be joined for guest commentary by the Masterpiece....... Lawler: "Sorry, Chris, I'll handle this. Will you give this man a proper introduction, J.R.? Folks, we are being joined by the current heavyweight champion of the world, the Masterpiece Chris Masters"! Chris Masters: "Thank you, King, it's a pleasure". "I SPIT IN THE FACE OF PEOPLE WHO DON'T WANT TO BE COOL" IS HEARD AND CARLITO COMES OUT TO PLENTY OF BOOS AS HIS MUSIC PLAYS. J.R.: "This will be a great chance for you to get a close look at the number one contender to your World title, Chris". Masters: "The Rock is about to have his first singles match in what, six-seven years? I just hope he still has it, cause we all know Carlito is no slouch"! Lawler: "I gotta agree with that insight, J.R, the Masterpiece makes a good point". "IF YA SMELL...... WHAT THE ROCK..... IS COOKIN'" LEADS INTO THE ROCK's MUSIC AND AN ABSOLUTELY CRAZY OVATION FROM THE CROWD. J.R.: "Hold onto your seats..... I think the roof is about to come off the Civic center"! Masters: "It's obvious that the crowd loves this guy, but he's no longer a wrestler! He's a movie star who has decided to get back in the ring, and it's a mistake"! J.R.: "I would agree that The Rock has probably lost a step or two, but one can't deny the fact that he is the first third generation wrestler in history! The Rock has a family lineage and God given athletic ability that make him one of the best ever"! Lawler: "Can you imagine if Carlito can block this crowd out and defeat The Rock"?! Masters: "I'm planning on that, King. I'm planning on Carlito proving that The Rock winning that battle royale was a fluke and that his return to wrestling is a huge mistake"! J.R.: "Who can forget the moment on the seven year anniversary show when Carlito started the show by basically complaining that he wasn't a part of it, and out came the great one?! Jimmy Korderas, our senior official has drawn the assignment of officiating this one and here we go"! Carlito vs. The Rock The bell sounded and Carlito asked The Rock to come to the center of the ring. The second generation star, son of the great Carlos Colon, pushed The Rock back several feet and threw a big punch. But The Rock blocked it and fired back with several right hands of his own. The Rock then spit into his own hand but Carlito ducked the oncoming right hand and backdropped him over the top rope. Carlito then took Rock out with a baseball slide when he stood up before grabbing him and ramming him face first into the announce table. Masters gave The Rock an earful as Carlito was pouring it on. Carlito then went for an irish whip but Rock reversed and sent him hard into the steel ring steps. After rolling Carlito in, The Rock gave Masters a long stare before getting in the ring himself. But Carlito was waiting with a kick right to the chops and the southpaw then lit The Rock up with 3 left hands followed by a big vertical suplex. Carlito then went to the apron and shot himself back into the ring with a nice elbow drop. Carlito went for the cover, but The Rock was easily up. Carlito pulled him to his feet and whipped him to the ropes but he put his head down a little too soon and The Rock delivered his floatover DDT. After nipping up, The Rock waited for Carlito and delivered a big spinebuster. The fans were going crazy as The Rock seemed to be setting up for the People's Elbow, but Carlito rolled out of the way. Masters then stood up from his seat and threw his hands up, distracting The Rock. Carlito then came from behind and went for the Backcracker, but Rock blocked it and Carlito hit the mat. When he got up, The Rock grabbed him and delivered the "Rock Bottom", hooking the leg for the 3 count. Match Time: 5:40 J.R.: "How long has it been since we saw The Rock Bottom! Masters, that could be you on the receiving end of that"! Lawler: "Shut up, J.R."! Masters: "I got somethin' to say". MASTERS TAKES OFF HIS HEADSET AND GETS LILIAN GARCIA's MIC. Masters: "Shut that music off! THE ROCK's MUSIC STARTS PLAYING AND THE CROWD BOOS AS THE ROCK IS HANDED A MICROPHONE. Ya know, Rock, after watching that match, I'm really not impressed. You call yourself the number one contender, but I honestly don't think there's any way you can beat the Masterpiece! In fact, I think you'd be better off making a sequel of Doom or something"! The Rock: "Is that what you think? Is that what you think"? Masters: "Yeah, that's what...... Rock: "It doesn't matter what you think! THE CROWD LOUDLY CHEERS Ya see, Chris, when it comes to you, it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter that you're close to ten years younger than The Rock. It doesn't matter that you have biceps the size of bowling balls and it doesn't matter that you have the TWF World title around your waist! It simply doesn't...... matter. So if you're not impressed, then maybe you're right, maybe The Rock isn't ready to face you. So why don't we put that decision in the place where it should be...... with the people". THE CROWD CHEERS AGAIN Lawler: "Oh boy....... The Rock: "So let's put The Rock with a bunch of other jabronis on a poll for Anarchy Rulz. We'll let the people vote and whoever wins the poll faces that steaming pile of monkey crap for the title at Anarchy Rulz"! THE ROCK POINTS AT CHRIS MASTERS AS HIS MUSIC HITS AGAIN AND THE FANS POP LOUDLY. Lawler: "What?! He can't call him that"! J.R.: "The Rock is showing no intimidation of the Masterpiece and it looks like this will be put to a vote for Anarchy Rulz! Will the people give The Rock a title shot"?! THE CAMERA FADES OUT ON A SHOT OF THE ROCK POSING ON ONE OF THE TURNBUCKLES. OFF AIR.........
