The stars of Rampage made their second trip to Toronto in 2008, fresh off the pay-per-view spectacular, MeltDown. Fans got a loaded night of TWF action and they were introduced to several new stars as well, right out of the gate.
Mike Knox vs. Tom Howard (invitee) Just signed to a TWF contract a day ago, Mike Knox entered a TWF ring for the first time and he was in there with a man who nearly made it to the TWF on multiple occassions before going into the world of MMA, specifically K-1, Tom Howard. This was a very physical contest, hard hitting from the opening bell. Knox finally slowed Howard down with a bicycle kick that seemed to knock him out cold. Knox then put him down with a winding STO takedown that ended the match just like that. World's Greatest Tag Team vs. Austin Pyromania and Taylor Made w/ Kelly There was a lot of respect shown between these 4 men before the match started and there was even more athletic ability on display during it. With Charlie Haas tangling with Pyromania, Taylor Made connected with a big DDT on Shelton Benjamin. He then went to the top rope but he was very slow getting up there and Benjamin ran up the turnbuckle and brought him off with an incredible release belly to belly! Shelton went into the cover and got the 3 count as Haas held Pyro off. Beth Phoenix vs. Taylor Matheny (invitee) The "Glamazon" Beth Phoenix made her TWF debut and impressive would be a very good way to describe it. Using power we've probably never seen from a woman before in the TWF, Phoenix muscled Matheny all over the ring before dropping her on her head with a powerbomb. After pulling her back up, Phoenix dropped her again with a stiff fisherman buster to get the win. Fans were not thrilled with Beth, but there was no denying her dominance. Axl Irvin vs. Chris Platoon Uprising's main event was a good one as Chris Platoon tried to send Axl Irvin into another defeat after he came very close to winning the King of Cable title. Platoon was all over Axl from the outset, relentlessly punching and kicking him. After a snap suplex, he dropped a big knee on his forehead and set him up for the "Last Chance". But Axl was able to escape, countering with a backdrop. With the fans back into it, Axl opened up on Platoon, pounding him with right hand after right hand before connecting with a spinebuster. Platoon got to his feet but Axl put him right back down with the "Axl Cutter" to win it! "THE REALEST" BY YOUNG JEEZY BLARED OVER THE LOUDSPEAKERS AND AXL STOOD IN THE RING, PLAYING TO THE CROWD AS THE STAGE CREW GOT THINGS SET FOR RAMPAGE TO GO LIVE ON THE USA NETWORK. RAMPAGE GOES LIVE
"TO BE LOVED" COMES ON AND THE OPENING MONTAGE ROLLS, SHOWCASING ALL OF THE SUPERSTARS OF RAMPAGE. THE ARENA THEN COMES INTO THE SHOT, LIT UP BY A HUGE PYRO DISPLAY AS THE HUGE CROWD GOES WILD. Jim Ross: "We are thrilled to be north of the border tonight, fresh off the huge event..... MeltDown"! Jerry Lawler: "We have a new TWF World champion.... and he's scheduled to be here tonight"! "COME ON" BY WATERPROOF BLONDE HITS AND SEAN O'HAIRE MAKES HIS WAY DOWN THE ENTRANCE RAMP. J.R.: "Mr. Kennedy not only won the title, he had to defend it within about a ten minute time frame and we'll have more on that later, but speaking of titles, what a way to kick things off tonight"! Lawler: "Sean O'Haire survived that big triple threat at MeltDown to earn this....... J.R.: "He stole it, King! Why don't we just call it like it is? He capitalized off a move by Sebastian Cain and won........ Lawler: "Well he's here in the title match, J.R., that's all I'm worried about". "MISERIA CANTARE" STIRS UP AFTER THE LIGHTS GO OUT AND J.J. RAMPLIN COMES OUT TO MOSTLY BOOS. HE HAS THE KING OF CABLE TITLE AROUND HIS WAIST. J.R.: "J.J. Ramplin has held the King of Cable title for over a year now and although Axl Irvin gave it a great shot at MeltDown, he found out how hard it is going to be to get that belt away from The Ram"! Lawler: "There is no way to argue what Ramplin has been able to do! It's one of the best title reigns in TWF history"! J.R.: "Here's an interesting note.... Sean O'Haire once held the Intercontinental title for over a year..... he knows what these lengthy reigns are all about". TWF King of Cable Title Match Challenger: Sean O'Haire vs. J.J. "The Ram" Ramplin The bell sounded to start the match and Ramplin seemed a little tentative as O'Haire got into somewhat of a kickboxing stance. O'Haire landed a couple jabs before throwing a kick but Ramplin caught his leg and picked him up, slamming him to the mat! Ramplin began to overpower the challenger, tossing him around the ring. With O'Haire in the corner, Ramplin landed some heavy right hands before backing up and charging in, but O'Haire got a foot in his face. After a nice discus backhand, O'Haire pulled Ramplin up and went for an irish whip but it was reversed and The Ram ran through him with his spear! He made the cover, but at 2 and a half, O'Haire got his foot on the bottom rope. Ramplin pulled him up and went for a suplex but O'Haire blocked it and dropped to one knee, hitting Ramplin with a stiff uppercut. Moments later, Sebastian Cain began to make his way to the ring. O'Haire seemed happy to see him and ordered him to go to the corner. What O'Haire didn't see is Cain had brass knucks on his right hand. O'Haire stayed in control, knocking Ramplin into the corner with a roundhouse kick. He then got Ramplin up for the "Widowmaker" and spun him around, but Ramplin's right foot caught referee Chad Patton in the head. Ramplin slipped free and shoved O'Haire to the corner as Cain got up on the apron, his right hand loaded. Ramplin ran in right as Cain swung and he dropped Ramplin cold when O'Haire dropped down. With a huge grin on his face, O'Haire pulled Ramplin up and delivered the Widowmaker to get the 1.........2........3! Match Time: 6:20 Lawler: "Oh my gosh..... we've got a new champion"! J.R.: "I can't believe it! The title reign of J.J. Ramplin has come to an end thanks to Sebastian Cain and some brass knucks that were meant for O'Haire"! Lawler: "And the thing of it is.... O'Haire doesn't even know that"! "COME ON" PLAYED AGAIN AND O'HAIRE RAISED THE KING OF CABLE TITLE UP WITH BOTH HANDS WHILE PERCHED ON ONE OF THE TURNBUCKLES. J.R.: "Unbelievable". COMMERCIAL BREAK............ RETURN FROM BREAK..... BACKSTAGE........ WHEN RAMPAGE RETURNS, THE DOOR TO ROWDY RODDY PIPER's OFFICE FLIES OPEN AND JASON OLIVER STEPS IN. HE IS WEARING HIS "KING OF STING" T-SHIRT. Rowdy Roddy Piper: "Um, did you........ Jason Oliver: "Knock first? No, I didn't, and I don't care. In case you missed it, M.X. and I were victorious at MeltDown, no check that..... we kicked Taylor Made and Austin Pyromania's ass"! Piper: "Okay, there must be a point to all of this, so what the hell do you want"? Oliver: "A chance to prove myself. A chance to show you and everyone else out there that I am for real..... I am one of the best competitors in this damn company and I'm tired of being overlooked! I wan a chance tonight..... in Toronto..... where they love me"! Piper: "You want a chance, huh? Fine, I'll give ya a chance. Tonight, it's gonna be you one on one with...... Travis Wakeman". OLIVER GETS A GRIN ON HIS FACE. Oliver: "Perfect...... I love it". OLIVER LEAVES THE OFFICE, VERY CONFIDENT. THE SHOT GOES BACK TO THE RING WHERE CARLITO AND PRIMO COLON ARE STANDING. J.R.: "Well we saw Travis Wakeman soundly defeat Muhammad Hassan at MeltDown and get this, King. Hassan called TWF offices and said he quits..... he's tired of the disrespect and discrimination so he quits". Lawler: "He quits? Good riddance"! Carlito: "Leading up to my match at MeltDown, all I heard about was this crap about Matt Cruz and his familia...... his attachment to the Guerrero family! Well I brought in my own familia and I handed Cruz yet another loss"! Primo Colon: "That's right...... my name is Primo Colon and I am the brother of Carlito! Family always has to have each other's back and that's what you saw at MeltDown"! Carlito: "Now that...... that's cool"! "THE NEXT EPISODE" BY DR. DRE COMES ON AND MATT CRUZ COMES OUT TO A BIG CHEER ALONGSIDE MANDO GUERRERO. J.R.: "Well I can tell ya who doesn't think it's cool....... here comes Matt Cruz and Mando Guerrero"! Lawler: "You heard that right, folks! Fifty-four year old Mando Guerrero is gonna team with Matt Cruz tonight to face Carlito and his younger brother, Primo"! J.R.: "Age might be on the side of the Colon's, but a willingness to exact some revenge sits in the other corner"! Carlito and Primo Colon vs. Matt "Madik" Cruz and Mando Guerrero Cruz wrestled the majority of the match, taking on both Carlito and Primo and doing very well for himself. Cruz hit Primo with a belly to belly suplex followed by a powerslam off an irish whip. He went for the cover but Carlito came in to break it up. Cruz chased Carlito to the corner but that allowed Primo to get up and score with a dropkick. He then slapped the hand of his brother to bring him into the match, but suddenly Mando Guerrero just snapped. He came into the ring and ran over Carlito with a clothesline before knocking Primo to the floor with a right hand. Carlito tried to come from behind to put Mando down with the Backcracker but Cruz got up and put Carlito on the mat with a backdrop suplex. Cruz then slapped on the "Colorado Cloverleaf" and Guerrero put a boot right in the face of Primo as he tried to come in and break it up. Moments later, Carlito tapped out. Match Time: 6:02 "THE NEXT EPISODE" PLAYED AGAIN AND CRUZ SHOOK THE HAND OF MANDO GUERRERO BEFORE THEY HAD THEIR HANDS RAISED. J.R.: "Wow, how do ya like that?! Cruz and an ageless Mando Guerrero get a tag team win over the Colon's"! Lawler: "And you know that after what happened at MeltDown, they really wanted this one"! BACKSTAGE AREA........ CHRIS MASTERS ENTERS PIPER's OFFICE. Chris Masters: "I just looked at tonight's lineup, and I didn't see Mr. Kennedy scheduled for anything". Rowdy Roddy Piper: "And....... Masters: "Look, do I need to spell it out? We both know that I didn't get pinned at MeltDown, I didn't submit at MeltDown, yet I lost my title. I want a shot to get it back"! JUST THEN, A FURIOUS CHRIS TIRPAK ENTERS AND HE AND MASTERS ARE FACE TO FACE. Chris Tirpak: "You have some nerve to complain! At least you got a fair shake........ I got screwed after something I planned long and hard for"! Masters: "How can you call my match fair? I didn't....... Piper: "Whoa, whoa, whoa..... we're not gonna do this tonight. Besides, I've come up with a solution. Tonight, there will be three matches with the winners all qualifying for a triple threat match on the next edition of Rampage. The winner of that will be the new number one contender and will face Mr. Kennedy for the World title at the King of the Ring. Now.... how can ya argue that"? Tirpak: "I can argue any damn thing I........... Piper: "Tirpak! Ya might want to go get ready for your match, son...... it's next"! TIRPAK STARES AT PIPER A MOMENT LONGER BEFORE LEAVING THE OFFICE AS THE SHOT FADES. COMMERCIAL BREAK................. RETURN FROM BREAK........ RINGSIDE..... WHEN RAMPAGE RETURNS, "TNT" BY AC/DC IS PLAYING AND CHRIS TIRPAK IS IN THE RING. J.R.: "Huge news we just heard..... three qualifying matches to get into a huge triple threat match have been made for tonight and we're ready for the first"! "VOICES" BY REV THEORY COMES ON AND RANDY ORTON SLOWLY WALKS OUT FROM THE BACK WITH AN EVIL GRIN ON HIS FACE. Lawler: "Oh boy.... look at this". J.R.: "Well if you're Chris Tirpak, you couldn't have drawn a better opponent tonight! It was Randy Orton that took Tirpak's WrestleMania Jackpot and stomped it into the ground at MeltDown"! Lawler: "The winner of this match will advance to that big triple threat..... wait, look out"! BEFORE THE BELL RANG, TIRPAK LEFT THE RING AND ATTACKED ORTON. #1 Contender Qualifying Match Randy Orton vs. Chris Tirpak Orton was ambushed by an angry Tirpak outside the ring and the fight was on. Orton did all he could to defend himself but Tirpak was all over him. Risking disqualification, Tirpak grabbed his kendo stick and swung it but Orton ducked and the weapon cracked against the steel ringpost. Orton then scored with a european uppercut before ramming Tirpak head first into the ring apron. Both men got into the ring and the match continued, a great match at that. The action was back and forth and several pin attempts were made by both men but after delivering a huge piledriver, Tirpak was in the driver's seat. He then got Orton up for the "Lights Out" and he covered him for the 1...........2........., but Orton got a foot on the bottom rope. Tirpak argued a little with referee Jose Mendez before going to pull Orton up but Orton got a thumb in to the eyes and stood up, watching Tirpak. He then hit the "RKO" out of nowhere and covered Tirpak, hooking the leg for the 3 count. Match Time: 8:17 Lawler: "The lights are out.... but they're out for Chris Tirpak"! J.R.: "The RKO lands with devastating consequences and Chris Tirpak's quest to be TWF World champion has been derailed by Randy Orton.... once again"! "VOICES" PLAYED AGAIN AND ORTON LEFT THE RING TO MASSIVE BOOS AS TIRPAK PULLED HIMSELF UP AND LOOKED ON IN ANGER. Lawler: "Orton now advances to that huge triple threat match, waiting for his two opponents"! J.R.: "We have been told that the other qualifying matches will see Money Mike take on Rob Van Dam and the former champ Chris Masters will battle Eddie Saint James"! The screen flickers as a cheap camcorder is turned on. There, in front of the camera, stands Richard Ramsley, with an odd look on his face. The camera is filming in night vision, which makes the sweat forming on his brow more noticable. He appears to be in a dirty old tree house of some sort. He takes a seat in an old lawn chair in front of the camera, and brushes some of his hair out of his face. He's wearing a Soundgarden T-shirt, and his regular ripped jeans. He folds his arms, and leans forward slightly, looking very nervous. He stares at the camera, and bites his lip. Heavy breathing can be heard as he finally leans back into the chair.
Richard Ramsley: "Everyone.... everyone thinks that I'm alone. Everyone thinks that I'm the only one who's as twisted as I am; that I'm the only one who's as bitter, and angry as I am. That's just not true. All of you.... everyone in the TWF, everyone watching at home.... you're just as sick as I am. Actually.... you're all worse than me. I know that I'm sick. I don't try and hide it like you do. I don't shy away from the fact that I derive pleasure from being as cruel as I am. I admit that I enjoy watching and making others suffer. But all of you freaks try to hide those feelings. You all live under the guise of "Normal" human beings. You try and supress those feelings, those urges. You make yourselves puppets to society. You're too afraid to do anything society frowns upon. Even if in the end, it helps, you're too afraid. You all seem to think that if something is gruesome, or seems cruel, it has to be wrong. That's why the world is as screwed up as it is. Society frowns on anything that doesn't conform to it's cookie-cutter ways. If something's wrong, it'll stay wrong, just so long as everything keeps running smoothly. Let me tell you a story. When I was a kid.... back when I was in fourth grade, there was a dog. It lived at the house this treehouse is behind. Everyday, when I walked home from school, I would see this dog. It would come up, and it would follow me home, then it would go home on it's own. I liked the dog. Unlike the cruel, vicious hypocrites I had to deal with at school and at home, this dog didn't judge me. He didn't hurt me. One day, while walking home, I see the dog's owner. I see the owner kick the dog. Then he kicked him again. And again. He was brutally beating this dog. And it made me angry. I told my Mother.... she just told me to shut up, and get in my room. I told my Father. He hit me, and told me to mind my own business. I told my teacher. He just shrugged it off. And that's when I realized that the so called "Normal" people were too afraid to stir the pot. No one likes someone who rocks the boat. So I decided I would help that dog. That dog was beat everyday. It seemed cruel to let him live like that. So one night, I snuck to the house where the dog lived.... I took out my pocket knife.... and I killed it. I ended his pain, his suffering. And I know the dog appreciated it. You know how? He didn't whine, he didn't bark, he just let me do it. You know what he did before he died? He licked my cheek. That was his way of thanking me. The owner found out, and called the police. I was too young to be tried as an adult, so I was placed in a "Mental Rehabilitaion Clinic." For a month, I rotted in that place. But I didn't care. Because I did what everyone else was afraid to do. The point I'm trying to make is this: Sometimes, you have to do unspeakably horrible things to stop unspeakably horrible things. (Ramsley pauses, and laughs) Now that I think about it.... I've become that old man. And all of you in the TWF locker room? You're my dogs. (He pauses again, and a wide grin fills his face) And I enjoy beating you".
Ramsley appears to begin holding himself as he starts to laugh uncontrollably. A small symbol appears on the upper right hand side of the screen, indicating a low battery. Ramsley is still laughing nonstop as the screen dims, and then fades as the battery of the camcorder dies.BACKSTAGE....... D'LO BROWN IS SHOWN TALKING TO CANDICE IN THE BACK AND THEY ARE LAUGHING AND CARRYING ON. M.X. OGDEN COMES UP WITH STACY KEIBLER. M.X. Ogden: "Really? Really, Candice? I upgrade from you to...... Stacy and you turn around and the best you can do is this overrated slob, D'Lo Brown"? D'Lo Brown: "Candice, I'll handle this". D'LO TURNS AROUND AND JUST CRACKS OGDEN WITH A RIGHT HAND. THE GIRLS GET OUT OF THE WAY AS THE TWO MEN BRAWL ALL OVER THE BACKSTAGE AREA. FINALLY, SEVERAL TWF AGENTS AND REFEREE's MOVE IN TO SEPERATE THE TWO MEN WHO ARE ALL FIRED UP. THE SHOT GOES TO ANOTHER PART OF THE BACKSTAGE AREA WHERE TREVOR MURDOCH AND LANCE CADE SEEM TO BE TALKING ABOUT THEIR PARTNERSHIP. Lance Cade: "I don't know man, I'm just tired of the whole tag team thing..... I think I can do good on my own". Trevor Murdoch: "We came here as a team and we need to stick together as a team, man". JUST THEN, A TALL, WELL BUILT YOUNG MAN ENTERS THE SHOT. Lance Cade: "Who the hell are you"? Man: "I'm Jack Swagger......... SWAGGER STICKS OUT HIS HAND AND LANCE CADE SHAKES IT. Trevor's opponent tonight". Trevor Murdoch: "Oh, I've heard of you. You're the guy who was on the Oklahoma wrestling team! Ya know, Lance and I love Oklahoma, we........ Jack Swagger: "Right....... I'll see ya in the ring". SWAGGER's ENTRANCE THEME HITS AND HE HEADS TO THE RING. MURDOCH LOOKS AT CADE WHO JUST SHRUGS HIS SHOULDERS. Jack Swagger vs. Trevor Murdoch This was a very impressive in-ring debut for Jack Swagger as he moved Murdoch all over the mat with ease. Murdoch was able to get back in the match with a big bulldog before going for a DDT. But Swagger blocked it and Murdoch went to the mat, hard on the back of his head. Swagger then kicked Murdoch in the abdomen when he got up and delivered a nice Doctor Bomb, falling into the cover and getting the 3 count. Match Time: 6:26 COMMERCIAL BREAK.............. RETURN FROM BREAK....... RINGSIDE....... #1 Contender Qualifying Match Money Mike vs. Rob Van Dam Money Mike came out very aggressively in this one, looking to keep RVD on the mat and finish him quickly. But me missed a big elbow drop and RVD was able to put his feet into action, kicking Mike in the arms, legs and body before knocking him to the mat with a spin kick right on the jaw. After hitting his corkscrew legdrop, RVD had the fans all wound up. He then went to the top rope and flew off with a kick to the chest before calling for the Rolling Thunder, but Mike got his knees up right in RVD's back. RVD got up slowly, holding his back in pain and he turned right into the "Money Pit". Mike hooked the outside leg and got the 3 count, joining Randy Orton in the triple threat match. Match Time: 7:42 BACKSTAGE......... ONE OF THE AIR CANADA CENTRE's SECURITY CAMERAS CATCHES SOME SORT OF MEETING IN THE BACK. M.X. OGDEN IS TALKING TO CODY RHODES AND TED DIBIASE, JR. TODD GRISHAM IS THEN SHOWN STANDING BY WITH THE MAJOR BROTHERS. Todd Grisham: "I am here with the team that is about to challenge for the Rampage Tag Team titles, Brett, Brian, your thoughts"? Brian Major: "Okay, stop right there. There's no more Brett and there's no more Brian. The Major Brothers, sounds like a cartoon? From now on, we're going by our real names..... Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder and we're gonna go out there and win back our tag team titles". HAWKINS AND RYDER HEAD FOR THE RING. Rampage Tag Team Title Match Challengers: Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder vs. Knockout-Tapout Connection Hawkins and Ryder didn't just come out with new names, they seemed to have a new energy as well. Their gameplan was a smart one, taking Sylvester Terkay out of the equation by keeping Elijah Burke in the ring. A double dropkick on Burke had the challengers in a great position to win, but Burke kicked out at 2. Hawkins made the tag to Ryder who attempted to shoot Burke to the corner but Burke reversed it and whipped Ryder to his corner where he was struck in the face with a right hand by the Manbear. Burke then rolled Ryder up and hooked the tights to steal the win. Match Time: 6:26 "MISERIA CANTARE" PLAYED AGAIN AND BURKE WILDLY CELEBRATED BUT TERKAY DIDN'T SEEM TO BE IN THE MOOD, WALKING UP THE RAMP ON HIS OWN WITH HIS TAG TEAM TITLE BELT. COMMERCIAL BREAK............. RETURN FROM BREAK...... BACKSTAGE....... WHEN RAMPAGE RETURNS, TODD GRISHAM IS STANDING BY WITH MR. KENNEDY WHO HAS HIS NEWLY WON WORLD TITLE OVER HIS SHOULDER. Todd Grisham: "Mister Kennedy, tonight, Rowdy Roddy Piper has set up qualification matches in order to get into a triple threat match in which the winner will face you at King of the Ring". Mr. Kennedy: "I just wanted to start by saying, Todd, that it feels great to be the TWF World champion..... once again! And I can't tell ya.......... SUDDENLY, KENNEDY IS ATTACKED FROM BEHIND BY RICHARD RAMSLEY WHO IS JUST BALISTIC, CONTINUALLY HITTING KENNEDY. HE BEGINS TO PULL VIOLENTLY AT KENNEDY's EYES AND FACIAL FEATURES, SCREAMING AS HE DOES, BEFORE OFFICIALS STEP IN AND PULL HIM OFF. #1 Contender Qualifying Match "The Masterpiece" Chris Masters vs. Eddie Saint James w/ Monica With one spot left in the triple threat match, these two men went all out. Saint James and Masters began the match trading right hands, but Masters got the best of that and knocked The Saint to the mat. Using his power, Masters muscled The Saint around the ring, delivering a huge gutwrench suplex. After dropping an elbow, Masters was already set to use the "Masterlock", but The Saint saw it coming and was able to fight it off. He then clotheslined Masters before knocking him into the corner with a kick. After climbing to the middle turnbuckle, The Saint fired down with right hands on Masters but Masters was able to throw The Saint across the ring before crushing him with the Polish Hammer! Just then, Masters looked like his eyes might pop out of his head when he looked at Monica. She was actually about 4 inches off the ground...... levitating! At least that's what it looked like. Referee Scott Martin was also caught off guard by this and the huge distraction allowed The Saint to come from behind with a low blow. From there, he got Masters up and delivered the "Death to Humanity", hooking the leg for the 1........2........3! The triple threat was now set. Randy Orton vs. Money Mike vs. Eddie Saint James! Match Time: 5:15 BACKSTAGE AREA......... CAMERAS SHOW JASON OLIVER ON HIS WAY TO THE RING. HE STOPS IN HIS TRACKS WHEN HE SEES RICKY STEAMBOAT AND HE GETS IN HIS FACE. Jason Oliver: "You knew when your time as an active wrestler was up...... why doesn't some of these other guys? Remember that interview you did not too long ago with Travis Wakeman..... where he spat out all that bullsh@t"?! Ricky Steamboat: "Just go to the ring, Oliver, just go to the ring". OLIVER WALKS AWAY WITH A HUGE SMILE ON HIS FACE BUT ALSO A LOOK OF DETERMINATION. RETURN FROM BREAK....... WHEN RAMPAGE RETURNS, "FLY FROM THE INSIDE" BY SHINEDOWN COMES ON AND JASON OLIVER COMES OUT TO A HUGE POP. Lawler: "The fans here in Toronto are on the Jason Oliver bandwagon"! J.R.: "He claimed that they love him here and it looks like he was right! What an ovation"! Lawler: "Can you imagine what a win here would do for the career of Jason Oliver"?! "MAKE WAY" BY METHOD MAN HITS AND BOOS FALL OVER THE AIR CANADA CENTRE AS TRAVIS WAKEMAN MAKES HIS WAY TO THE RING. WAKEMAN IS HOLDING HIS STOMACH AND DOESN'T SEEM LIKE HIMSELF. J.R.: "Well it would obviously be huge, but wait, here comes Oliver"! AS WAKEMAN COMES DOWN THE RAMP, OLIVER LEAVES THE RING AND ATTACKS HIM. AFTER KNOCKING HIM TO THE FLOOR, OLIVER IS ON HIM LIKE AN UNCAGED ANIMAL. FINALLY, HE PULLS HIM UP AND SENDS HIM INTO THE STEEL RING STEPS WITH AUTHORITY. Jason Oliver vs. Travis Wakeman Oliver slides into the ring, yelling for Wakeman to get in. Wakeman is very slow to get up and when he does get into the ring, he stumbles to his feet. Oliver kicks him in the gut and goes for the "Claymore" but Wakeman pushes out of it and tries for a clothesline but Oliver dropkicks his right knee before kicking him right in the right side of his abdomen. Wakeman is in extraordinary pain as Oliver takes him to the corner, looking for a reverse tornado DDT. Instead, Wakeman grabs him and walks a few steps out of the corner, driving him into the mat with the "Royal Flush". Oliver is out as Wakeman tops him to get the 3 count. Match Time: 3:22 Lawler: "Well, disappointment has sure as heck fallen over this crowd"! J.R.: "An abrupt end to the match but I don't think I'm the only one who can see that Travis Wakeman isn't right"! "MAKE WAY" PLAYS AGAIN AND WAKEMAN LEAVES THE RING, STILL HOLDING HIS STOMACH AREA. OLIVER GETS TO HIS FEET AND THE CROWD APPLAUDS HIS EFFORT AS HE LOOKS ON AT WAKEMAN IN AMAZEMENT. Lawler: "I don't know what to make of this". J.R.: "Folks, we hope you've enjoyed tonight's edition of TWF Rampage.... we'll see ya next time"! OFF AIR.......
