Madison Square Garden

New York, New York

Attendance: 14,290

April 8, 2011

The growing presence the TWF is making in the world's most famous arena was made evident by the massive crowd that packed MSG for Rampage. The fans were also treated to one of the biggest editions of Uprising in recent memory with plenty of main event level talent.

Christian and Kaval vs. Ted Dibiase and Dolph Ziggler

A bit of a rivalry is beginning to develop between Christian and Dibiase and they started the match all over each other. Christian nearly put Dibiase away after hitting his reverse DDT but when he went to the middle turnbuckle, likely for his flying reverse elbow, Ziggler came over and distracted him enough for Dibiase to grab his right leg and yank him to the mat. Ziggler tagged into the match and kept the pressure on Christian, hitting a Fame-Asser that drove Christian's face into the mat. He got him up and went for a suplex but Christian blocked it and lifted Dolph up, dropping him abdomen first on the top ring rope. Kaval was tagged in and he rocked Ziggler with a kick to the head that knocked him out of the ring. The only thing that prevented a count out was Dibiase going over and helping his partner into the ring. Kaval whipped Ziggler into the corner and landed his cartwheel kick before springing off the ropes, looking for another kick but Ziggler countered with a tremendous dropkick. Kaval was able to land near his corner though and he slapped the hand of Christian. Christian came in and delivered his reverse DDT to Ziggler again and went for the cover, getting a long 2 count. Christian pulled him up and went for an irish whip but Ziggler reversed it and after leapfrogging Christian, he dove and touched the extended hand of Dibiase. Christian went after Ziggler who was no longer the legal man in the match and that allowed Dibiase to come from behind and hit "Dream Street" which led to the victory.

The Hart Dynasty vs. Alex Reynolds and King Mega (invitees)

Looking for a tune up for their tag team tournament run, The Hart Dynasty got a lot more than they bargained for from a couple of guys looking to put their name on the map. Reynolds and King Mega exhibited some great double team moves by isolating Tyson Kidd in the ring. Reynolds caught Kidd with a big powerslam before tagging in Mega. Reynolds got Kidd up and whipped him to the corner and Reynolds then tried to throw his own partner into him. But Kidd moved out of the way and then slapped the hand of his partner Harry Smith. Smith came in and ran Reynolds over with a clothesline. King Mega came from behind and clubbed Smith before picking him up for a backdrop suplex. He then went for an elbow drop but Smith got out of the way. After some right hands and a big clothesline, Smith muscled King Mega up for the running Bulldog Powerslam. Reynolds came into the ring but ate a kick to the face from Smith. Smith then tagged in Kidd who came off the apron with a springboard elbow on King Mega and that got the Hart Dynasty a 3 count and the win.

Rob Van Dam vs. Ezekiel Jackson

This was a great main event for Uprising and it was RVD who frustrated the big man early with his quickness and several kicks to the body. Van Dam was smart to stay away from the grasp of the musclebound Jackson but going for a monkey flip out of the corner was a headscratcher. After Jackson blocked the attempt, he turned RVD inside out with a clothesline. He then picked Van Dam up with a military press and dumped him on the mat. Van Dam took a beating for the next couple of minutes but off an irish whip, he ducked a clothesline and nailed Jackson with a jumping spin kick right to the face. RVD then connected with Rolling Thunder and had the match well in his favor again as he went to the top rope. Jackson got up and he flew off with a martial arts kick aimed for the head or chest but Jackson was able to step out of the way and then smash RVD with a clothesline to the back of the head. The shot seemed to knock RVD out but Jackson still got him up and delivered the "Book of Ezekiel", emphatically, and he covered Van Dam for the win.

JACKSON LEFT THE RING TO NOTHING BUT BOOS WITH HIS MUSIC PLAYING. HE WAS CLEARLY HAPPY WITH THE VICTORY HOWEVER AND RAMPAGE WAS NOW JUST MOMENTS AWAY FROM GOING LIVE ON THE USA NETWORK.

RAMPAGE GOES LIVE

FIREWORKS AND PYRO POUND OFF THE STAGE INSIDE MADISON SQUARE GARDEN WHICH IS DEAFENING WITH NOISE.

Jim Ross: "Madison Square Garden is rockin' tonight as the TWF has rolled into the world's most famous arena and what a huge show we have to look forward to tonight, King"!

Jerry Lawler: "I can't wait to get things started tonight, this place is bananas"!

NICK DANIELS' MUSIC COMES ON AND MOST OF THE CROWD STARTS TO BOO AS HE COMES OUT FROM THE BACK. PRIMO IS SHOWN WAITING IN THE RING.

J.R.: "And of course the TWF's next major event is the Royal Rumble and tonight we will have a few matches that will determine qualification spots in that match featuring two of the TWF's newest superstars.... one of them being this man".

Lawler: "Well J.R., I have to say that it's been a long time since a newcomer made as match of an impression as this guy did in his debut. I mean, he had the nerve to go straight to The Empire".

J.R.: "Well it's yet to be determined whether that was a bright move or not but he certainly has some moxie, I'll give him that".

Lawler: "But he's gotta get by Primo tonight if he wants to participate in the Royal Rumble match".

Royal Rumble Qualification Match

"The Chosen One" Nick Daniels vs. Primo

Daniels offered a handshake to Primo when the match started but Primo denied it and instead asked to lock up. Daniels tied up with him in a collar and elbow and Primo actually scored with an arm drag. Daniels got up and ran at him with a clothesline but Primo ducked that and delivered a perfect dropkick. Daniels got up and Primo threw him into a corner but when he went for a body splash, Daniels moved and came back with a reverse neckbreaker. After stomping on the fallen Primo multiple times, Daniels got Primo up and grabbed him under the arm and shoulder area before picking him up and driving him into the mat. Primo was shaken but he tried to get up and fight back, only to be put right back down with the move known as "House of 1,000 Deaths" and that ended it.

Match Time: 4:25

J.R.: "You could likely count to one hundred after that..... Primo doesn't know what hit him".

Lawler: "And I could see this guy being a very formidable foe in the Royal Rumble, J.R.".

J.R.: "A very good start to the career of Nick Daniels who you can now plan on seeing in the 2011 Royal Rumble match"!

BACKSTAGE......

CAMERAS CATCH A CONVERSATION BETWEEN RICHARD RAMSLEY AND CM PUNK.

CM Punk: "I mean, are you sure you want to go through with facing Gafgen tonight? There's still time to try and change his mind on this whole thing".

Richard Ramsley: "No, he's made up his mind. He thinks he doesn't need me...... I mean us...... that's fine. Tonight, he can show me what he learned".

PUNK SEEMS A LITTLE UNSURE OF RAMSLEY's DECISION AS THE SHOW GOES TO BREAK.

COMMERCIAL BREAK.........

A COMMERCIAL FOR COMCAST IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY A PREVIEW FOR THE MOVIE "SCREAM 4".

RETURN FROM BREAK..... BACKSTAGE......

WHEN RAMPAGE RETURNS, MATT CRUZ IS SHOWN TALKING WITH MARIA NEAR THE CATERING AREA.

Matt Cruz: "Like I said, everything with the police is fine. I was never considered a suspect, they just wanted to see if I'd heard anything".

Maria: "Well they could have.........

JUST THEN, KELLY COMES UP.

Kelly: "Hey guys.... sorry to interrupt, but Trish Stratus asked me to come and tell you that they want to see you in The Empire suite. I have to go give the same message to Randy Orton too........

KELLY WALKS OFF AS CRUZ LOOKS AT MARIA.

Matt Cruz: "Wonderful.......

"HIT EM UP" BY THREE SIX MAFIA COMES ON AND TODD JOHNSTON IS OUT TO A DECENT POP.

J.R.: "We saw Todd Johnston debut successfully on the last edition of Rampage against a hand picked opponent chosen by Money Mike but we are told he has been given a much stiffer test tonight".

Lawler: "And this match will be to determine a spot in the Royal Rumble match".

THE FANS BOO WHEN "ON YOUR KNEES" PLAYS AND JACK SWAGGER COMES OUT. AFTER WALKING DOWN TO THE END OF THE RAMP, HE DOES SEVERAL PUSH-UPS IN PREPARATION FOR THE CONTEST.

J.R.: "The All American American will likely be much stronger opposition than the man Johnston defeated in his debut...... what tall task in front of the newcomer tonight".

Lawler: "You have to wonder what The Empire has against this kid Johnston...... a tall task is right".

Royal Rumble Qualification Match

Todd Johnston vs. Jack Swagger

The two men locked up and battled for position as Johnston pushed Swagger into the corner but Swagger swung around to reverse the position. He missed with an overhand right as Johnston got out of the way and then tagged Swagger with 3 right hands. He then grabbed Swagger and tried to pull him into a clothesline but Swagger ducked and came back with a big german suplex. He then rolled Johnston over and attempted an ankle lock but Johnston easily countered and pushed Swagger out of the way. He got up as Swagger ran at him and turned him over with a perfect belly to belly. Swagger was in trouble at this point as Johnston went to the middle turnbuckle but he was slow in his decision making and Swagger got up, smashing him with a right hand that turned his jaw. After pulling Johnston off the top rope, Swagger ran across the ring and used the turnbuckle to pull off a big splash maneuver, driving all his weight into the rookie. Swagger then pulled Johnston to his feet and delivered the "Swagger Bomb" to end it.

Match Time: 4:31

J.R.: "Oh wow.... there is no getting up from that"!

Lawler: "And Jack Swagger qualifies for the Rumble"!

"ON YOUR KNEES" PLAYED AGAIN AS SWAGGER LEFT THE RING TO A LOT OF BOOS, BUT CLEARLY SATISFIED WITH THE WIN.

J.R.: "Nick Daniels is joined now by the All American American in the Royal Rumble field and hopefully, the young Johnston can look back on this match and learn from it, cause he gave it a heck of an effort"!

JOHNSTON WAS SLOW TO RECOVER IN THE RING BUT HE CAUGHT OF GLIMPSE OF A SMIRKING SWAGGER LOOKING BACK AT THE RING BEFORE HE WENT TO THE BACKSTAGE AREA.

BACKSTAGE...... EMPIRE SUITE.......

CAMERAS CUT TO THE EMPIRE SUITE WHICH A TEAM OF ARENA WAITSTAFF MEMBERS ARE SERVING TRISH, STEPHANIE, TIFFANIE, ALBA RIOS, CARNEY AND MATT MORGAN IN THE FAR END OF THE ROOM. TRAVIS WAKEMAN IS SITTING AT A DESK USING A LAPTOP COMPUTER AND EVEN THAT HAD THE EMPIRE LOGO ON IT. THE CAMERA THEN PANS OVER TO ANOTHER PART OF THE SUITE TO SHOW MONEY MIKE STANDING IN FRONT OF MATT CRUZ AND MARIA.

Money Mike: "So here is what we came up with....... I don't think either one of you deserves a shot at the World title.... especially you.......

MIKE GETS NOSE TO NOSE WITH ORTON.

But, Wakeman decided to give you both one chance to prove it tonight. So the two of you will team up tonight to face Jason Oliver and Rob Storm. If you win, there will be a triple threat match for the World title at the Royal Rumble. If you two lose, then neither of you gets a shot. Got it"?

Randy Orton: "Fine with me.......

ORTON TURNS TO LEAVE THE SUITE.

Money Mike: "Oh and Cruz.... watch out for Storm.... I hear he likes to go for the eyes".

CRUZ, STILL SPORTING THE EYEPATCH THAT RESULTED FROM THE INJURY SUSTAINED IN HIS LAST MATCH WITH ROB STORM, JUST GLARES AT MONEY MIKE.

The scene cuts to the back and we see Troy Gafgen. For the first time in a while he's rocking a smirk. He runs a hand through his hair as he begins to speak.

Troy Gafgen: "Well, well.... look where we're at now. You know, when I first teamed up with Richard, I thought it was a good move. Sure he was crazy, but we connected. We got to know each other and he took me under his wing. He showed me the ropes and it seemed to be the right fit. Then I started hearing chatter. People were saying I was a spitting image of Ramsley... and that's what got to me. Everyone believed that I was in his shadow and that wasn't the case. So fast forward to the last Rampage. I watched Rich talk to himself. How f@*ked (censor) up is the guy? Well I realized that the best thing to do was to cut my losses. Richie, listen up! You want me to show you what I've learned?! Don't worry, pretty soon, everyone will see"!

With that Troy walks off and the camera fades out........

COMMERCIAL BREAK..........

A COMMERCIAL FOR THE GILLETTE FUSION PRO RAZOR IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY ONE FOR PEANUT BUTTER SNICKERS.

RETURN FROM BREAK..... BACKSTAGE......

WHEN RAMPAGE RETURNS, SEBASTIAN CAIN IS SHOWN SITTING IN HIS DRESSING ROOM WHEN A FRUSTRATED LOOKING DREW McINTYRE BRINGS HIM SOME SORT OF DRINK. CAIN TAKES A LOOK AT IT AND THEN LOOKS UP AT McINTYRE.

Sebastian Cain: "This isn't what I asked for? Are you serious? How many mistakes are you planning on making"?

Drew McIntyre: "I'm........

Sebastian Cain: "Oh I don't want to hear it.... I want you to stay back here.... shine my boots or something..... but don't come to ringside. I don't want you to cost me another match".

CAIN GETS UP AND LEAVES THE ROOM, TOSSING WHATEVER McINTYRE BROUGHT HIM IN THE TRASH.

THE SHOT GOES TO THE RING WHERE TWO OF THE MORE RECOGNIZABLE SUPERSTARS IN JAPAN ARE SHOWN IN THE RING.

THE EMPIRE THEME COMES ON AND TIFFANIE BRINGS OUT CRIS HENNING AND DEVON WADE TO A CHORUS OF BOOS.

J.R.: "We're ready for the tag team tournament to continue here as Cris Henning and Devon Wade make their way out here and King, you'll remember these guys having to win a match just to convince Money Mike to allow them to compete but that victory may have been what these two young men needed to start a roll and go deep in the tournament".

Lawler: "Well our TWF viewers definitely recognize these kids from The Empire, but the team they are facing tonight are two of the most recognized stars in all of Japan, Jun Akiyama and Kenta Kobashi".

J.R.: "Between them, they have won something like twenty seven titles in Japan but they have both suffered serious injuries in the past, in fact, Kobashi hasn't competed in well over a year, but they couldn't pass up the invitation to compete in this tournament".

Lawler: "Wade and Henning are looking at them like wounded dogs and they're ready to take out a couple legends tonight"!

Invitational Tag Team Tournament- First Round

Cris Henning and Devon Wade w/ Tiffanie vs. Jun Akiyama and Kenta Kobashi

Wade eagerly moved in on Akiyama but was taken down with a quick arm drag. Wade popped up but Akiyama blasted his chest with some knifedge chops before sending him into the ropes but but Wade ducked a swinging backhand and grabbed him in a standing waistlock. Dropping to one knee, Akiyama flung Wade over his back and then kicked him square in the face. He went for a cover but Wade was up at 2. Akiyama was clearly outclassing the young superstar but after avoiding a round kick, Wade caught his Japanese opponent with a flying wheel kick. Henning then tagged into the match and followed up with a somersault neckbreaker. Still in a seated position, Akiyama was taken out with a basement dropkick. Henning pulled Akiyama up and tried to suplex him but Akiyama slipped free and landed behind Henning, throwing him over his head with a full nelson suplex. Kobashi then tagged into the match and he belted Henning with a succession of 10 soccer kicks to the chest. A running senton seemed to sake Kobashi up but he was able to tag out. Akiyama came into the ring but Henning came out of nowhere with a kick to the midsection followed by a wicked DDT. Wade and Henning went on to dominate the next several minutes of the match, but they couldn't put Akiyama away. They got his shoulders down for a 2 count six times. Finally, The Empire tried to negotiate some sort of double team move. Wade went to the top rope and Henning tried to get Akiyama onto his shoulders but Jun again got free and dropkicked Henning in the back, sending him into the ropes and knocking Wade to a crotched position on the top turnnbuckle. Kobashi tagged into the match as Akiyama went over and drilled Wade with a jumping martial arts kick to the side of the head that knocked him all the way to the floor. Henning got to his feet but Kobashi grabbed him from behind and delivered one of the most amazing suplexes in TWF history. Henning landed right on the back of his neck but Kobashi still bridged into a cover and got the 3 count.

Match Time: 14:06

J.R.: "Oh what a match! The Empire seemed to have things totally in their favor but these veterans from overseas found a way to win it"!

TIFFANIE HELPED WADE AND HENNING AWAY FROM THE RING. IN THE RING, AKIYAMA AND KOBASHI SOAKED UP THE RESPECTFUL CHEER FROM THE HUGE NEW YORK CROWD.

Lawler: "And to do it at Madison Square Garden.... what a moment for these two"!

J.R.: "And what a tournament this is becoming"!

BACKSTAGE......

CAMERAS IN THE BACK AGAIN FOCUS ON MATT CRUZ AND MARIA. MARIA LOOKS UP AND STOPS TALKING, INDICATING SOMEONE IS APPROACHING. CRUZ TURNS TO SEE RANDY ORTON.

Matt Cruz: "Oh, here we go".

Randy Orton: "I don't think I need to give you any kind of speech about getting along or working together tonight, you know as well as I do what's riding on tonight's match. So let's just plan on beating the hell out of Oliver...... and each other.... in that triple threat match".

Matt Cruz: "No problem".

"RUN TO THE HILLS" BY IRON MAIDEN COMES ON AND TROY GAFGEN COMES OUT TO MOSTLY BOOS.

J.R.: "Well I gotta tell ya, King, I am looking forward to what we're about to witness here".

Lawler: "The wacky relationship between Richard Ramsley and Troy Gafgen has ended and now Ramsley wants to see what Gafgen learned from him".

"THE DROWNING" BY THE HAUNTED COMES ON AND RICHARD RAMSLEY HEADS OUT FROM THE BACK, EYES LOCKED ON GAFGEN.

J.R.: "We can also confirm that both of these men will take part in the Royal Rumble match but they're looking to do some damage to each other here first".

Lawler: "Well if you ask me, Ramsley is taking Gafgen's decision to leave his group very seriously and he's coming right at him"!

Richard Ramsley vs. Troy Gafgen

Ramsley came into the ring and wasted no time going right at his old accomplice. The two exchanged blows before Ramsley went to the eyes of Gafgen, gouging them repeatedly before hitting the ropes but Gafgen came back with a boot to the face. He then got down on the mat and pounded Ramsley, yelling "Did I learn, huh?! Have I learned you son of a bitch"?! Things started to resemble a fight in the alley more than a wrestling match as the two men were just all over each other. Finally, Gafgen connected with a huge clothesline off an irish whip and Ramsley rolled out of the ring. He went right over to where ring announcer Stephen DeAngelis was sitting and ordered him to get up out of his chair. DeAngelis obliged and a deranged looking Ramsley brought the chair into the ring after folding it over. Gafgen stood in front of him, daring him to hit him with it. Even with referee Scott Martin threatening a disqualification, Ramsley whacked him over the head, knocking him to the mat as Martin called for the bell. Ramsley threw the chair into the mat and left the ring shouting "You didn't learn a damn thing"! But as Ramsley got about halfway up the ramp, Gafgen stood up, his head bloodied, and he had a vile look in his eyes.

J.R.: "My gosh look at that man"!

Lawler: "Wow.... Ramsley may have met someone as sadistic and twisted as him"!

J.R.: "Maybe Gafgen did learn something..... maybe Gafgen had it in him all along"!

THE SHOT FADED OUT ON THE TWO MEN STARING ACROSS MSG AT ONE ANOTHER, THE CROWD ON THEIR FEET.

COMMERCIAL BREAK.......

A COMMERCIAL FOR 5 REACT GUM IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY ONE FOR TIDE PLUS BLEACH.

RETURN FROM BREAK.......

J.R.: "Folks we are back live here on TWF Rampage but we wanted to show you what happened during that last break".

EDDIE SAINT JAMES AND MONICA ARE SHOWN IN THE BACK WHEN MONEY MIKE COMES UP ON THEM.

Money Mike: "Oh, I get it, you two think you're just gonna hang out and wait for this tournament to get over and then you'll be all rested and ready for whoever wins it. But that's not gonna be the case....... Saint, you want to try and be a thorn in The Empire's side? Well you better head to that ring cause you're in a match.... next! Your opponent is part of a tag team you may end up facing at some point.... a team you know well".

BACK TO LIVE ACTION, COURTNEY TAYLOR IS AT THE BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW AREA WITH JASON OLIVER WHO HAS THE TWF WORLD TITLE OVER HIS SHOULDER.

Courtney Taylor: "Jason Oliver, it seems that Matt Cruz and Randy Orton have a common goal tonight as they will team up to face Rob Storm and yourself with some huge implications on the line. These are two men you've had some serious battles with and........

Jason Oliver: "And nothin'! Orton..... Cruz...... you two can talk all you want and come up with all the strategies you want! Fact is, I'm the best in the game as of this moment and after Storm and I defeat you two punks tonight, I won't have to worry about either one of you again"!

OLIVER BLOWS PAST COURTNEY AS HE WALKS AWAY.

Eddie Saint James w/ Monica vs. Elijah Burke w/ Sylvester Terkay

This match didn't even last two minutes as The Saint was in there with one half of the tag team he and Boogeyman took the belts from. After working referee Jose Mendez into a position where he was distracted with Monica, Terkay got up on the apron and nailed Saint James from behind. Burke then worked him over with his boxing background, going to the body with uppercuts. After shooting him to the opposite corner across the ring, Burke went for the Elijah Express but The Saint moved out of the way. After a running kick knocked Burke for a loop, The Saint got him up and delivered the "Death to Humanity". Burke was flat out of it and he got a very easy 3 count from there. After the bell sounded and he had his arm raised, he gave a long, cold stare towards The Manbear.

Match Time: 1:46

J.R.: "Wow..... I wonder if Money Mike was expecting that out of The Saint".

Lawler: "I wouldn't expect that at all...... The Saint seemed like he was more than ready for this match tonight"!

"I WILL BE HEARD" BY HATEBREED PLAYED AS THE CAMERA FOCUSED ON EDDIE SAINT JAMES STOOD IN THE RING WITH MONICA.

J.R.: "And as this invitational tag team tournament continues, Eddie Saint James is becoming a force to be reckoned with"!

Lawler: "The Boogeyman would be happy....... whatever closet he's in or bed he's under"!

BACKSTAGE.........

CAMERAS CATCH A MEETING BETWEEN TRAVIS WAKEMAN, JAKE ROBERTS AND CJ LETHAL.

Jake Roberts: "Look, I know you've had some of these younger guys qualify for the Rumble, but CJ here is ready..... he wants a shot in this year's Royal Rumble and I feel he's earned a spot.... can we agree on that"?

WAKEMAN LOOKS THE IMPOSING LETHAL UP AND DOWN BEFORE TURNING HIS SIGHT BACK TO ROBERTS.

Travis Wakeman: "I think that can be arranged".

Jake Roberts (smiling): "Good deal............

ROBERTS AND WAKEMAN SHAKE HANDS AS THE SHOT AGAIN FADES OUT.

COMMERCIAL BREAK............

A COMMERCIAL FOR GATORADE IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY A USA PROGRAMMING AD FOR "BURN NOTICE" AND "WHITE COLLAR".

RETURN FROM BREAK..... RINGSIDE.......

WHEN RAMPAGE RETURNS FROM BREAK, THE ARENA IS MOSTLY DARK EXCEPT FOR A SPOTLIGHT SHONE ON A LADDER SET UP INSIDE THE RING. SITTING ATOP THE LADDER IS AXL IRVIN WHO HAS A MICROPHONE IN HAND.

Axl Irvin: "In just a matter of weeks, Chris Tirpak and I will go at it one more time for the King of Cable title. When I compare myself to Tirpak.... well there really is no comparison. I'm a former Universal champion, he's done next to nothing in what, over a decade? I've always had potential, he's always filled up roster space. I've always been able to impress the ladies..... he walks around the back saying things like 'epic'. I look at him as an epic tool, if anything. But I will give you some credit, Chris, you did make a great selection for a match between us. I mean, all we have to do to be the winner is climb up this ladder and grab the title. That's something I can see myself doing ninety-nine times out of one hundred against you. For those of you who aren't........

AXL IS INTERRUPTED BY TIRPAK, WHO COMES OUT FROM THE BACK WITH A MIC OF HIS OWN AND THE KING OF CABLE TITLE OVER HIS SHOULDER.

Chris Tirpak: "Hey, Axl..... the time for talking is over! Now, you can sit out here and do this whole self promotion crap, or you can do what I like to do and back your words up physically. I could sit out here and run down my list of accolades, but........

Axl Irvin: "What accolades?! Go ahead, list them! Face it, Tirpak, you're a loser"!

Chris Tirpak: "I'm one of the longest tenured guys here, Axl..... I can still remember when you were a wet behind the ears rookie, long before you had this ego. But the bottom line is, you and I have unfinished business, especially when it comes to that ladder. I've won one WrestleMania Jackpot that we both competed in.... and the next year was your turn. So it's time..........

Axl Irvin: "Shut up! I'm not listening anymore! At the Royal Rumble..... I'm gonna kick your ass"!

"THE REALEST" BY YOUNG JEEZY COMES ON AS AXL RAISES ONE ARM WHILE STILL ATOP THE LADDER. TIRPAK JUST STARES AT HIM WITH A FIERCE LOOK IN HIS EYES.

J.R.: "Wow, King I can't wait for that one"!

Lawler: "Which one of these guys is the king of the ladder match, J.R.? We're gonna find out at the Royal Rumble"!

J.R.: "And we're also just moments away from finding out what the World title match is going to look like".

BACKSTAGE........

CAMERAS IN THE BACK SHOW DEVON WADE TALKING WITH TIFFANIE.

Devon Wade: "So yeah..... I was just wondering if you might want to take a load off and go unwind tonight..... ya know, see where the night takes us. Let's go get a drink somewhere".

BEFORE SHE CAN SAY A WORD, CRIS HENNING COMES UP.

Cris Henning: "A drink? A drink, are you serious? We just lost in the first round of the tag team tournament and you're thinking about that?! No wonder why people question whether we should be in The Empire! Tiffanie.... certainly you're not thinking about this........

TIFFANIE JUST WALKS OFF AS WADE LOOKS AT HENNING.

Devon Wade: "Good one..........

SEAN O'HAIRE STEPS INTO THE SHOT, WEARING A BLACK SUIT AND TIE.

Sean O'Haire: "I'm sure by now you're all wondering, what is it with this guy? Is he looking for attention? Does he pretend to be heartless because he likes the negative reaction? Truth is, I just tell it like it is, just like many people the world loves to hate. People don't like to deal with the truth, which is why so many create this certain fantasy world to get by. Did it ever occur to you that if you just face things head on, you might be happier? Your husband is seeing other women? Maybe it's because you don't do enough around the house. Your wife doesn't put out....... get rid of her. These are the kinds of things I'm talking about. You don't need to depend on others to achieve happiness..... we're all adults, right? But hey, I'm not tellin' you anything that you don't already know".

Mixed Gender Tag Team Match

Sebastian Cain and Gina Carano vs. Sheamus and Kayla Karter

Without Drew McIntyre in his corner, Cain was in trouble many times against Sheamus but he couldn't put him away. Cain was able to get the tag to the Women's champion Carano which forced Kayla Karter into the match. With their no holds barred match scheduled for the Royal Rumble, the women were all over each other. Carano punished Karter with kicks to the body before teeing off on her with rights and lefts to the head. Off an irish whip, Carano went for a roundhouse kick but Karter ducked and delivered a huge german suplex. After tossing Carano out of the ring, she tagged Sheamus back in. Cain got into the match and Sheamus tried to catch him off guard with the Brogue Kick but Cain moved out of the way and then took it to Sheamus with a succession of punches. He then shot him to the corner and followed in but Sheamus countered with a big reverse elbow to the jaw. After a big clothesline, Sheamus called for his big powerbomb. Carano and Karter were still brawling on the floor and Karter was able to push Gina face first into the steel ring post. In the ring, Sheamus picked Cain up but Cain slipped free and kicked Sheamus in the abdomen. He then delivered the "Mark of Cain" out of nowhere to win the match. But, wanting to send a message before the Royal Rumble, Karter delivered a piledriver to Carano on the floor after the match had ended.

Match Time: 8:53

A PROMO IS SHOWN FOR THE ROYAL RUMBLE FEATURING CHRIS TIRPAK VS. AXL IRVIN IN A LADDER MATCH FOR THE KING OF CABLE TITLE AND THE 2011 ROYAL RUMBLE MATCH.

Jason Oliver and Rob Storm vs. Randy Orton and Matt "Madik" Cruz w/ Maria

Both Orton and Cruz desperately wanted a piece of Oliver but he knew it and Rob Storm was sent in and he started the match with Cruz. Much to Storm's dismay, Cruz removed the eyepatch right when the bell sounded and began to pummel Storm with right hands before delivering an overhead double underhook suplex. Orton tagged into the match and he dropped Storm with an excellent dropkick. Orton ran the ropes but Oliver stuck a knee into his lower back. But it didn't slow Orton down, who turned and nailed Oliver with a right hand. Orton turned around and Storm was waiting with a flying calf kick. After a snap suplex, Storm began to work on the lower back of Orton before making the switch to Oliver. The other half of this Canadian connection came into the ring and delivered a pendulum backbreaker to Orton. After a legdrop, he got Orton up and hooked him for a fisherman suplex but Orton countered and pulled Oliver down across his back with his famous backbreaker. Slithering to his corner, Orton made the tag to Cruz who charged into the ring and pulled Oliver up. The crowd was really into it now as Cruz hammered away on the World champ. After a belly to belly suplex, Cruz grabbed the feet of Oliver, perhaps looking for the Colorado Cloverleaf but Storm came into the ring and smashed him with a superkick. This drew Orton in and the fight was on. Meanwhile, Oliver reached into his tights and pulled out some sort of foreign object. Maria saw this and while referee Jim Korderas was tangled up with Orton, she reached in under the bottom rope and grabbed Oliver's right foot. This bought Cruz enough time to get up and grab Oliver but Oliver countered with a punch to the ribs using the object and followed that with a right hand to the head. Cruz fell back to the mat and Oliver made the cover for the 1......................2..................., but Cruz got a shoulder up in the nick of time! Oliver went to the corner and tagged in Storm who went to the top rope. He came off with a missile dropkick when Cruz got to his feet but again at the last possible moment, Cruz got out of the way. He then stumbled to the corner where he slapped the outstretched hand of Orton. Looking at Oliver before Storm got up, Orton delivered the "RKO" and covered him for the pin.

Match Time: 8:04

J.R.: "We've got ourselves a triple threat for the title at the Royal Rumble"!

Lawler: "It was looking like Oliver might get out of it there for a second, but he now faces a challenge against two men who might be looking to do more than just take his belt"!

"VOICES" BY REV THEORY BLARED OVER THE LOUDSPEAKERS AS OLIVER LEFT THE RING WITH HIS TITLE AND ORTON AND CRUZ JUST STARED AT ONE ANOTHER.

J.R.: "Things just got turned way up for the huge pay-per-view event"!

OFF AIR.........
