EnergySolutions Arena

Salt Lake City, Utah

Attendance: 13, 212

September 12, 2011

For the first time since February of 2008, the stars of Rampage hit the scene in Salt Lake City to a huge crowd. WrestleMania 12 would be the next stop for these guys so they were out to make one final, lasting impression.

Primo vs. Cosa Enigmatica

Uprising opened up with a rematch from the Uprising that took place prior to TWF Main Event and these two men put on a very fast paced match. Looking to avenge his loss, Cosa Enigmatica came out on fire, taking the fight to Primo. After shooting him to the corner, he charged in and used his body as a missile, slamming into Primo. A running dropkick then knocked Primo out of the ring. From there, Cosa brought the crowd to his feet with a diving corkscrew attack but Primo got out of the way and Cosa landed hard on the floor. Primo then grabbed Cosa and bounced his head off the steel ring steps before rolling him into the ring. Primo then went to the top rope and came off with a beautiful missile dropkick. It looked like it was all over as Primo went for the cover, getting 1.................2................., but at the last possible second, Cosa was up. The fans began to get behind Enigmatica and after reversing an irish whip later in the match, he caught Primo with a nice hurricanrana. He then got Primo up on his shoulders in position for a Torcher Rack but spun around and slammed Primo on the back of his head. Cosa went into the cover and got the win and some payback on Primo.

A.J. Hart vs. Martin Casaus (invitee)

The fans were very much behind local product Martin Casaus but A.J. Hart was introduced as Rampage's newest superstar. Not much was known about Hart, who was billed from Brooklyn but he seemed to have a nice toolbox full of maneuvers. Casaus was a great opponent for Hart but after missing a flying elbow drop off the middle turnbuckle, Casaus found himself on the receiving end of several crisp moves. Hart delivered a big side backbreaker before landing a bi legdrop off the middle turnbuckle. He went to pull Casaus up but Casaus got in a quick shot to the abdomen before whipping him to the ropes. He dropped his head a little soon and Hart got him up and delivered an innovative move, dropping Casaus hard to get the victory. The fans gave Hart a nice applause for his debut performance, even considering that he beat a hometown boy.

Axl Irvin vs. Kaval

Both of these men were hungry for a win and the effort they put forth was indicative of that. Early on, it was the feet of Kaval that did the most damage as he really made Axl pay with some shots to the backs of his legs. Axl wasn't able to close the distance on Kaval, let alone get his hands on him. After a round kick caught Axl in the left temple, Kaval bounced off the middle ring rope, drilling him with a roundhouse kick to the head. He then went to the top turnbuckle and may have been trying to set up the "Warrior's Way" but Axl recovered and fell into the ropes, knocking Kaval off the turnbuckle. Axl got him up and went crazy in the corner, landing a barrage of punches and kicks to his prone opponent. Finally, after a countless number of shots, the referee pulled Axl out of the corner. He tried to move back in but Kaval got up and dropkicked his left knee cap. He again tried to spring off the ring ropes but this time Axl was waiting for it and countered into an incredible powerslam. Axl aggressively pulled Kaval up and delivered the "Axl Cutter" to put it away.

Monica vs. Katie Lea

The main event of Uprising featured Monica and the "messenger" that Stephanie McMahon sent out to confront her a few weeks ago on Rampage. Monica was very eager to get her hands on Katie Lea and she was just pounding her as the match got underway. Katie Lea staved off several pin attempts but Monica kept on the offensive and after a harsh snap suplex, Monica rared back and kicked Katie right in the ribs. As the dominance continued, the fans were very surprised to see Stephanie McMahon appear on the TWF Tron. Stephanie had some words for Monica, mostly trying to distract her and it worked. Just as the feed on the tron cut out, Katie Lea came from behind with a shot to the back of the head of Monica. She then rammed her face first into the mat but this just sent Monica into a rage. Monica got up and leveled Katie with a right hand but after a big DDT, Monica went outside the ring and found a steel chair, folding it up and sliding it back in. Monica then pulled Katie up and moved her over to the chair which was lying on the mat and she put her down with another DDT, right on the chair. The referee called for the bell, disqualifying Monica who now had a look we'd never seen on her face before. Despite the match already being over, Monica went to the top rope and came off with a very impressive 360 splash before looking down on Katie Lea who was in a tremendous amount of pain.

RAMPAGE GOES LIVE

IN REMEMBRANCE OF THE ATTACKS OF SEPTEMBER 11, 2001, RAMPAGE STARTED WITH A 10 BELL SALUTE. THAT WAS FOLLOWED BY AN INCREDIBLE PERFORMANCE OF THE NATIONAL ANTHEM BY SPECIAL GUESTS AND UTAH NATIVES, COUNTRY MUSIC STARS SheDaisy.

AFTER A BRIEF PAUSE, "I AM PERFECTION" COMES ON AND DOLPH ZIGGLER COMES OUT TO MOSTLY ALL BOOS FROM THE SALT LAKE CROWD.

Jim Ross: "We are here on a very special night inside the road to WrestleMania 12 and what a beautiful opening to this show, King, remembering and honoring the victims of 9-11".

Jerry Lawler: "I remember it like it was yesterday, as I'm sure most everyone does and you're right, that was very, very touching".

J.R.: "Dolph Ziggler set to compete in our opening contest here and he'll be doing so against one of the men who will be in the WrestleMania Jackpot with him".

"JUST CLOSE YOUR EYES" COMES ON AND CHRISTIAN STEPS OUT FROM THE BACK TO A GOOD CHEER. HE HEADS TO THE RING, READY FOR ACTION.

Lawler: "Two spots still remain in that Jackpot match but I don't think these guys care about who they will be..... they're both confident that the briefcase is coming with them".

J.R.: "We will find out on PrimeTime who will join Christian and Ziggler but you're right, neither of these guys in lacking in the confidence department".

Dolph Ziggler vs. Christian

Christian and Dolph locked up to start the match and Ziggler quickly got a hammerlock. Christian tried for a back elbow but Ziggler avoided it and lifted him up, driving him into the corner. From there, he peppered Christian with a couple kicks before stinging him with an overhand right. Ziggler whippe Christian across the ring and ran in but Christian was able to pull up both feet to kick him square in the mouth. After a stiff clothesline, Christian made the cover but could only get a 1 count. Christian waited for Dolph to get up and then shot him to the ropes, landing a perfect dropkick. Christian was cookin' and the fans were loving it as Christian went to the turnbuckle, ascending to the top. Ziggler got up and seemed primed to take Christian's missile dropkick, but he was able to get out of the way. Dolph then hurriedly slapped on his sleeper hold, but Christian, not wanting to feel it's effects as so many have, was able to drop to one knee and send Ziggler flying over him. Ziggler got up though and smashed Christian with a running knee to the face. He then picked him up and whipped him to the corner, looking for a clothesline. But Christian avoided it and nicely grabbed the arm of Ziggler, swinging him right into the "Killswitch" and just like that, a 3 count was registered.

Match Time: 4:18

J.R.: "What a counter by Christian! That brings an abrupt end to this match and Ziggler doesn't know what hit him"!

Lawler: "Yeah but I hate to say it, J.R., that Killswitch maneuver won't win him anything at WrestleMania..... he'll have to do it with a ladder".

"JUST CLOSE YOUR EYES" PLAYED AS AN EXUBERANT CHRISTIAN CELEBRATED THE BIG VICTORY WITH THE CHEERING AUDIENCE.

J.R.: "Something tells me that won't be a problem for this guy.... he has to be one of the favorites in that match"!

BACKSTAGE AREA........

CAMERAS IN THE BACK CATCH WHAT SEEMS TO BE A FRANTIC WORLD CHAMPION MATT CRUZ, WHO IS TALKING WITH REFEREE's CHAD PATTON AND JOSE MENDEZ. THEY JUST SHAKE THEIR HEADS, CAUSING HIM MORE FRUSTRATION. HE WALKS OFF AND COURTNEY TAYLOR COMES UP.

Courtney Taylor: "Matt...... Matt Cruz.... what's the matter"?

Matt Cruz: "Have you seen Maria tonight"?

Courtney Taylor: "Uh no..... I haven't".

Matt Cruz: "Neither has anyone else".

CRUZ STORMS OFF AND COURTNEY TAYLOR GROWS A CONCERNED LOOK ON HER FACE AS THE SHOT FADES..........

COMMERCIAL BREAK...........

A COMMERCIAL FOR PEPSI MAX IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY ONE FOR KENTUCKY FRIED CHICKEN.

RETURN FROM BREAK..... RINGSIDE......

WHEN RAMPAGE RETURNS, KAYLA KARTER IS SHOWN IN THE RING WITH THE WOMEN's TITLE BELT AROUND HER WAIST. STANDING IN THE RING WITH HER IS THE VERY MENACING KHARMA.

J.R.: "We're back on Rampage everybody and I gotta say, things are in complete disarray in that backstage area as everyone is in search of Maria".

Lawler: "Well I really hope they find her, this can't be good, especially if Kharma got her hands on her"!

NATALYA's MUSIC COMES ON AND SHE COMES OUT TO A PRETTY GOOD POP.

J.R.: "Kharma is scheduled for action here but this is a very serious, serious matter, King. Matt Cruz is beside himself from what I'm told".

Kharma w/ Kayla Karter vs. Natalya

The reigning TWF Women's champion had the luxury to sit back and watch this one and to her credit, Natalya stood right up to the imposing Kharma. Kharma shoved Natalya across the ring but Natalya charged in with a stiff forearm to the chest. Natalya struck with another before ducking a wild clothesline thrown by Kharma. After a kick to the left knee, Natalya tried to pick Kharma up and it was a mistake. She had the full weight of Kharma fall right onto her and a 3 count was very nearly registered. Kharma got up and pulled Natalya to her feet by her hair. After pushing her into the corner, Kharma drove countless knees into the body of the daughter of Jim Neidhart. After tossing her across the ring, Kharma stood on the hair of Natalya and pulled both of her arms upward, forcing the referee to start a count. Kharma released the hold and then went for an elbow but Natalya rolled out of the way. Natalya popped her with several right hands, knocking her into the ropes. She then ran the ropes and ducked a clothesline but as she came off the other side, Kharma slapped on a sleeper hold. From there, she lifted Natalya, literally with one arm and swung around, just dropping Natalya on the back of her head. From there, an almost possessed looking Kharma pulled Natalya up as Kayla Karter yelled "Finish her"! That led to the "Implant Buster" and Kharma rolled her over to get the victory.

Match Time: 4:03

J.R.: "Wow.... did you ever think you'd see Natalya get handled with that sort of ease"?

Lawler: "This woman is very, very dangerous.... she may be the most dangerous woman walking this planet, J.R., and that's why that title isn't going anywhere for a long time".

THE FANS BEGAN TO CHEER AS KHARMA's MUSIC CUT OUT AND GINA CARANA APPEARED AT THE TOP OF THE STAGE WITH A MICROPHONE.

Gina Carano: "Hold up, ladies....... before you even think about beating up Natalya some more, I thought I'd bring you a message".

KARTER RUSHES TO THE ROPES AND ASKS RING ANNOUNCER STEPHEN DeANGELIS FOR HIS MICROPHONE AND HE HANDS IT TO HER.

Kayla Karter: "Gina, save it! When are you gonna go away, huh?! This is getting........

Gina Carano: "Well you'll get your chance to make me go away in Denver, Colorado at WrestleMania. I talked to The Empire and I got them to agree to a tag team match at WrestleMania against you and your........ thing there.

KHARMA's EYES WIDEN WHEN GINA MAKES THAT COMMENT.

I'll have a partner...... and we'll see you there".

GINA TURNS AND WALKS INTO THE BACK AS A LOUD CHEER COMES OVER THE CROWD.

J.R.: "What an announcement! Gina Carano's gonna get another shot against these two"!

Lawler: "Yeah, but who is her partner gonna be"?!

BACKSTAGE.......

RICHARD RAMSLEY IS SHOWN IN THE BACK WHEN CM PUNK COMES RUSHING UP.

CM Punk: "Please...... PLEASE tell me you don't have anything to do with Maria not being here".

Richard Ramsley: "Is that the kind of person you take me for...... C......M? Pshhhh........

RAMSLEY TURNS AND WALKS OFF AS PUNK JUST LOOKS ON.

Invitational Tag Team Tournament 2nd Round

Osirian Portal vs. Jun Akiyama and Kenta Kobashi

With the number one contenders tag team tournament dwindling down, these two teams knew how important this match was. Ophidian and Amasis were the team the crowd seemed to get behind as they brought several exciting moves against the veteran Japanese tandem. Akiyama was being bombarded with moves from both members of the Portal as they made frequent tags in and out. After being sending Akiyama to the corner, Amasis made the tag to Ophidian. He then whipped his own partner across the ring and Ophidian drilled Akiyama with a spinning roundhouse to the head. Ophidian made the cover and got 1..........2........, but Akiyama pushed free. Ophidian made the tag back to Amasis who came in and went for a flying clothesline with Akiyama in the corner but Akiyama got out of the way and then made it to the corner to tag in Kobashi. This was the turning point of the match as Kobashi came in and kicked away at Amasis before delivering a snap mare and kicking him square in the back. Kobashi didn't let up and measured Amasis for another kick while he was down on hands and knees. But Ophidian went to the top rope. Akiyama tried to warn his partner and Kobashi turned right into a missile dropkick from the masked man who was not the legal man in the match. Referee Jose Mendez seemed to be contemplating a disqualification but he allowed the match to continue. Kobashi was able to make the tag to Akiyama who came in and grabbed a leg of Amasis. But Amasis rolled to his side and kicked Akiyama straight in the jaw with his free leg. He then dove to his corner to slap the outstretched hand of Ophidian. Ophidian came in and tagged Akiyama with several leg kicks before scoring with a jumping spin kick to the face. A tag was made back to Amasis who went to the middle turnbuckle and flew off but again he was errant with his attack and Akiyama took a step back to catch his breath. He then ran across the ring and struck Amasis right in the face with a running knee. He looked over at Kobashi before pulling Amasis up and delivering his Blue Thunder Driver, a devastating move that made the entire audience say "OHHHHHHHHHH". Akiyama had the pin and got the 3 count, advancing his team into the semi-finals.

Match Time: 8:46

BACKSTAGE...... INTERVIEW AREA.......

IN THE BACK, COURTNEY TAYLOR IS WITH ROB STORM.

Courtney Taylor: "Rob Storm, later tonight you are set to face the TWF World champion Matt Cruz but news has broken that Maria has disappeared. You don't have anything to do with that, do you"?

Rob Storm: "Wait a minute, officer, I never saw a badge. Look sweetheart, I don't have any idea where Maria is. But I do know this, if Cruz is going to find her, he'll need both eyes and the last time he got into the ring with me, I almost made him permanently blind in one eye. He better focus on me tonight..... and not his little girlfriend".

Courtney Taylor: "We'll be right back..............

COMMERCIAL BREAK..................

A COMMERCIAL FOR THE IPHONE 4 IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY A WRESTLEMANIA 12 PROMO FEATURING JORDAN ROCKWELL VS. GUNDAM.

RETURN FROM BREAK..... BACKSTAGE......

WHEN RAMPAGE RETURNS, CAMERAS CATCH AXL IRVIN ON HIS CELL PHONE.

Axl Irvin: "Like I said, just see to it that I have a plane ticket to Arizona..........

AXL ENDS THE PHONE CALL AS THE SHOT GOES BACK TO THE RING.

"The Drowning" by The Haunted begins to play as Richard Ramsley makes his way out from the back. The boos are almost deafening as he methodically makes his way to the ring. He slides in under the bottom rope and then motions for a microphone. The music fades out as Ramsley bring the mic to his face.

Richard Ramsley: "You know, a lot of people questioned what I did at the Main Event. But you know what? When have people not questioned what I've done? I've said it before, and I'll say it now, you idiots out there refuse to actually think! I get that none of you can hold a candle to my level of intelligence, but really, you can try to use what you've got. However, in the interest of time, let me explain myself a little bit.

The crowd begins to boo even louder, with a small chant of "Shut Up Ramsley" breaking out throughout the arena.

Ramsley: "Shut up, huh? It's axiomatic that you're all just a little bit jealous of my intelligence, so I'll let that slide.

Ramsley gets a big grin on his face as the chants of "Shut Up Ramsley" begin to grow.

Ramsley: Now, as I was saying. The reason I laid out both Orton and Punk on Main Event is simple: I wanted to send a message to Punk. The message is simple. I've told you I want you as an ally; I've told you I want us to run this show. Now, thing is.... that wasn't an offer, Punk. I wasn't asking you, though I did try to be polite, and make it seem like it. No, I think you, and everyone else should know me a little better than that. You should all know by now that Travis Wakeman and his little Empire are the only ones who get the courtesy of me asking nicely. When it comes to everyone and everything else, I simply take what I want. And I'm going to be honest with you, Punk, yeah, our alliance will lead to you with the TWF World Championship. But I'm doing this for me. Because, I've always said, I've got plans, man, BIG plans. For me.... heh... for the TWF. But I need strong allies, buddy and I know that I can count on you to be a game-changer. But you need to understand something. If you decide you don't see eye to eye with me, I'll be the worst enemy you've ever had. Just ask Sebastian Cain, ask Chris Tirpak, ask Troy Gafgen. They'll tell you that, for better or worse, I'm going to make you hurt and I'm going to make you suffer, regardless of what it may cost my health or my career. So I suggest that you......

At this point, "This Fire Burns" hits and CM Punk makes his way out, mic in hand, to a mixed reaction.

CM Punk: "I'm tired of this garbage! I've been telling you for WEEKS that I want nothing to do with you! Did I entertain the thought of being your "ally?" At first, maybe, but........

Punk pauses to slide into the ring.

I realized that this ain't worth it! You're insane! Nuts! Bat shit crazy!

Punk gets right into Ramsley’s face.

Get this through your screwed up head, you Daddy issue freak! I DON'T need your help! I DON'T want to be your friend! I DON'T-

Suddenly, Ramsley punches the mic out of CM Punk's hand and shoves Punk back a few steps.

Ramsley: "No, YOU get this through your head, you son of a bitch! I'm sick and damn tired of you acting like you're better than me! The only thing you've done since coming to Rampage is winning the Royal Rumble, and you only did that because of ME! So you're going to shut up, and you're going to listen! I don't want you as my friend; I don't care if you hate my guts...... because it's real simple now. You're going to work with me, or I'm going to hurt you; I'm going to break you down. Think real hard, Punk. I saved your ass from Orton, and I've laid a road made of golden bricks for you since you got here. I GAVE you a title match at WrestleMania, and I'll be damned if I let you spit in the face of my plans! This goes deeper than you, you arrogant prick, and if you try to screw this all up for me, I guarantee you that you won't be walking out of Denver with the championship, or out of any arena with any title for a LONG time. So the ball is in your court, Punk, you either win at Mania, or you lose, it all really boils down to that. You've got until the end of the night. After your match with Orton, I'm going to come down to this ring and I'm going to extend my hand to you for the LAST damn time! Either you take it, or you don't. I suggest you think real hard".

Ramsley then slams down his mic and exits the ring. Punk looks on furiously as Ramsley makes his way back to the locker rooms.

J.R.: "This thing is starting to get outta control..... what the heck is going on with these guys"?!

Lawler: "Ramsley just made it clear to CM Punk that he's not asking him to form some sort of alliance..... he's demanding it"!

BACKSTAGE.......

CAMERAS IN THE BACK RUSH OVER TO MONICA WHO IS POUNDING ON THE DOOR OF THE EMPIRE SUITE. FINALLY, IT IS OPENED BY ALBA RIOS.

Alba Rios: "Can I help you"?

Monica: "Where is Stephanie"?

Alba Rios: "Uh..... she's a little busy right now. Can I..........

Monica: "I need to talk to her, it's urgent".

ALBA ROLLS HER EYES AND CALLS OUT STEPHANIE's NAME. STEPHANIE WALKS OVER TO THE DOOR AND OPENS IT THE REST OF THE WAY. THE NEXT THING SHE KNOWS, SHE IS GRABBED BY THE HAIR BY MONICA WHO THROWS HER FACE FIRST INTO THE DOOR!

Monica: "Next time you have a message for me..... deliver it yourself"!

J.R.: "My God...... that may have been a huge mistake"!

TROY GAFGEN IS SHOWN IN THE RING AND HIS MUSIC, "RUN TO THE HILLS" BY IRON MAIDEN IS PLAYING. HE IS HAVING SOME WORDS WITH SOME OF THE RINGSIDE FANS WHEN "FOR WHOM THE BELL TOLLS" STRIKES UP AND A LOUD POP RISES FROM THE CROWD. CHRIS TIRPAK COMES OUT FROM THE BACK WITH HIS KING OF CABLE TITLE.

Lawler: "I still have no idea what Monica may have been thinking! Does she have any idea what she just did"?!

J.R.: "With The BoogeySaints awaiting the winner of our ongoing tag team tournament, you have to wonder how this affects things".

Lawler: "I'd be surprised if she's not already off the payroll........

J.R.: "Chris Tirpak is scheduled to face Troy Gafgen here and while it's not a King of Cable title match, WrestleMania season is here and I can't see the Championship Committee overlooking Gafgen should he get a win here".

Non-Title Match

Troy Gafgen vs. King of Cable: Chris Tirpak

These two were no strangers to one another and a trade off of haymakers started things off in the center of the ring. Gafgen knocked Tirpak across the ring with a stiff right hand and then charged in but Tirpak met him with a kick to the abdomen. After a sharp elbow to the head, Tirpak whipped Gafgen to the ropes and connected with a hard clothesline. The offense belonged to Tirpak for the next several minutes and after a scoop slam, he went to the middle turnbuckle. After walking the ring rope, Tirpak came off with a well placed elbow. He went for the cover and got a 2 count before Gafgen pushed him off. Tirpak was starting to build steam though and after whipping him to the ropes, he got in another low kick before trying to get the big man onto his shoulders. Gafgen countered with an elbow to the jaw and then blasted Tirpak with a discus clothesline. Gafgen then got down and rifled several right hands into the face of the King of Cable before pulling him to his feet. After flinging Tirpak into the corner, Gafgen slammed into him with a clothesline. He then lifted him up to the top turnbuckle and was looking to bring him off with some sort of high impact slam, but Tirpak slapped his hands out of the way and then kicked him right in the face. From there, Tirpak grabbed Gafgen by the back of the head and pressed his knee up against it, driving him into the mat face first, a move the fans clearly appreciated. With Gafgen knocked for a loop, Tirpak got him onto his shoulders and delivered the "Lights Out", which led to the pinfall and the victory.

Match Time: 7:01

J.R.: "What a win for the King of Cable..... this guy is on a roll"!

Lawler: "Wait a minute, is that a fan in the ring"?

BEFORE TIRPAK COULD EVEN CELEBRATE, A MAN CAME INTO THE RING IN STREET CLOTHES AND WEARING A HAT BACKWARDS AND SMOKED HIM WITH A SUPERKICK RIGHT AS HE TURNED AROUND. THE MAN WALKED OVER TO THE FALLEN TIRPAK AND LOOKED DOWN AT HIM AS THE CROWD BEGAN TO BOO BUT SOME OF THOSE BOOS TURNED TO CHEERS WHEN THE CAMERA GOT A GOOD SHOT OF THE MAN, REVEALING IT TO BE DAMION WEST.

J.R.: "That's Damion West.... where the hell has he been"?

Lawler: "He wants a microphone...........

Damion West: "No, I didn't die and no, I haven't relapsed! I just, for whatever reason, don't get put on TV by the company I have spent over a third of my life working for! What, am I not good enough...... you guys think I'm washed up?! So Empire..... I just attacked your so called King of Cable....... that would put me on TV, right?! That is, if Tirpak has the nuts to face me".

WEST TAKES THE MICROPHONE AND DROPS IT ON THE CHEST OF THE KING OF CABLE, WHO IS BARELY COMING TO HIS SENSES. WEST LEAVES THE RING TO A MIXED REACTION AND HEADS THROUGH THE CROWD. A SPOTLIGHT FOLLOWS HIM UNTIL HE FINDS AN EXIT DOOR.

J.R.: "I have no idea what to make of this....... Damion West, who as he pointed out, hasn't been seen on TWF programming for some time now, has taken it upon himself to attack Chris Tirpak, apparently as a way to get the attention of The Empire".

Lawler: "WrestleMania, J.R., it makes the men and women around here do some very strange things".

COMMERCIAL BREAK..........

A COMMERCIAL FOR BUD LIGHT IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY ONE FOR EDGE SHAVING GEL.

RETURN FROM BREAK..... RINGSIDE......

Sebastian Cain and Eddie Saint James w/ The Boogeyman vs. Drew McIntyre and Elijah Burke w/ Sylvester Terkay

With The Boogeyman the Manbear at ringside, fireworks were sure to occur between these 6 men. But shortly into the match, the odds became uneven as Jason Oliver came down to ringside and pulled up a chair. Cain got in a lot of offense on his one time "servant", McIntyre but he missed with a flying clothesline as he sprung from the apron and McIntyre got him up and delivered the "Future Shock" DDT. He went for the cover and got 1..........2........, but Cain got a foot on the bottom ring rope. McIntyre made the tag to Burke who came in and peppered the reigning King of the Ring with jabs before whipping him to the ropes for a back elbow right against the jaw. The fans began chants of "Cain" but Burke was relentless, looking as loose and athletic as we've seen him in the TWF. After a picture perfect standing dropkick, Burke waited for Cain to get up and struck with a clothesline/STO takedown. He made the cover and got a long 2 count. After draping Cain over the middle ring rope, Burke bounced off the far side and tried to jump on the back of Cain's head but Cain moved out of the way just in time. Burke went through the ropes and landed on the floor, trying to get back into the ring. But Cain made the tag to The Saint and he came in all fired up. He smashed Burke with a barrage of right hands before whipping him to the ropes for a big boot to the face. He then went over and rocked McIntyre with a shot that knocked him off the apron. But this distracted the referee and Terkay saw an opening, getting up onto the apron and drilling Saint James with the Heart Punch. The Saint fell back to the mat as Burke began to stir. Very slowly, Burke crawled over into a cover, draping an arm over the chest of one half of the TWF Tag Team champions. Referee Chad Patton got into position and made the count, 1...................2.............., but The Saint got his shoulder off the mat! Burke went and slapped the hand of McIntyre, who was eager to get into the ring. He came in and put the boots to The Saint and then went to distract Patton, allowing Terkay to get up on the apron. But this time, The Boogeyman came over and pulled Terkay off the apron and he spit a mouthful of worms in his face. Disgusted, Terkay threw a right hand but Boogeyman ducked a dropped him with a wild headbutt. Oliver stood up from the chair he was sitting in and then grabbed the chair, smacking Boogeyman across the back with it. While this was going on, Cain and Burke were throwing down in the ring and The Saint was able to gain control of McIntyre, delivering the "Death to Humanity" to get the 1.............2................3!

Match Time: 11:04

J.R.: "What a hellacious match....... that thing had it all"!

Lawler: "And it's not over, here comes Oliver"!

JASON OLIVER GOT INTO THE RING WITH THE STEEL CHAIR AND TOOK A SWING AT CAIN. BUT CAIN DUCKED AND AFTER KICKING OLIVER IN THE GUT, IT FORCED HIM TO DROP THE CHAIR. CAIN THEN GRABBED IT AND POUNDED THE MAN HE WILL FACE AT WRESTLEMANIA RIGHT OVER THE HEAD!

J.R.: "Oh my God..... they may have heard that in Arizona where we will be having TWF PrimeTime"!

Lawler: "Jason Oliver may be out cold until WrestleMania after that shot..... wow"!

"BLACK" BY SEVENDUST PLAYED AS CAIN AND THE BOOGEYSAINTS STOOD TALL IN THE RING, WATCHING THE TRIO OF TERKAY, BURKE AND McINTYRE RETREATING. OLIVER WAS MOTIONLESS IN THE RING.

J.R.: "Make sure you watch ESPN Sportscenter tonight..... that chair shot may make their little top plays segment"!

BACKSTAGE...... EMPIRE SUITE.......

IN THE EMPIRE SUITE, MONEY MIKE IS WITH STEPHANIE McMAHON, WHO HAS AN ICE PACK PRESSED AGAINST THE RIGHT SIDE OF HER CHEEK.

Money Mike: "Now honey, we can handle this, let's not make any rash decisions here".

Stephanie McMahon: "No! I don't care who se is or how tough she is...... she's gonna regret pulling that crap with me"!

STEPHANIE LOOKS AT MONEY MIKE AND SHE IS CLEARLY IN PAIN AS SHE RUBS HER JAW.

THE NBC SPORTS LOGO IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY SOME QUICK IMAGES OF JOE COREY, M.X. OGDEN, JOHN CENA, JORDAN ROCKWELL, MATT CRUZ AND CM PUNK.

Audio Voiceover: "It's the final stop before WrestleMania........ whose road will lead to Paradise..... and whose will lead to pain, sorrow or worse? TWF Main Event, the WrestleMania 12 special, live on NBC".

THE SHOT GOES BACK TO THE RING WHERE "THIS FIRE BURNS" BY KILLSWITCH ENGAGE PLAYS. MOSTLY BOOS COME FROM THE CROWD BEFORE CM PUNK STEPS OUT AND HEADS TO THE RING.

J.R.: "Well, King, here is the man scheduled to challenge for the World title at WrestleMania but he's got a little problem in the form of Randy Orton here tonight".

Lawler: "Yes, and a problem he caused himself. I know CM Punk thinks he's the best in the world right now but I have no idea how he's gonna beat a man like Matt Cruz when he has all the things going on that he does".

"VOICES" COMES ON AND RANDY ORTON COMES OUT FROM THE BACK, RECEIVING A PRETTY GOOD POP AS IT SEEMS TWF FANS ARE BEGINNING TO WARM UP TO HIM.

J.R.: "Let's not forget that Maria is reportedly missing and we understand that the search is ongoing for her as officials have been in contact with her family, specifically her sister".

Lawler: "Let's just hope and pray that Maria is okay but I have a slight feeling that CM Punk has something to do with it".

CM Punk vs. Randy Orton

Orton and Punk stare each other down from their corners, sizing each other up. Suddenly, however, Richard Ramsley emerges from the back with a chair! Neither Punk, nor Orton seems to notice, and Ramsley quickly slides into the ring. Orton tenses up as Ramsley appears to rear back, however, at the last second, he spins on his heel, and blasts Punk right in the face! Before Orton has a chance to react, Ramsley spins around, and nails him as well. Ramsley throws the chair down, and motions for a mic.

J.R.: "What in the hell is this..... Ramsley is out here again"!

Richard Ramsley: "Guess what, Punk? I changed my mind. You don't get to decide how WrestleMania goes, not anymore. It's all MY decision. So come WrestleMania, it looks like I'm going to be the only one who knows how things are going to go down. And Randy? Nothing personal, buddy. Just keep in mind, you may think you're the top dog around here, but unless you want me to lay you out like this on a permanent basis, I suggest you keep your nose outta my business..... and out of the TWF World Championship hunt".

RAMSLEY THROWS THE MICROPHONE ASIDE AND GETS DOWN ON ONE KNEE, HAVING SOME MORE WORDS WITH PUNK, WHO IS STILL REELING FROM THE EFFECTS OF THE CHAIR SHOT. RAMSLEY STANDS UP BUT BEHIND HIM, ORTON HAS RECOVERED AND IS SEETHING. RAMSLEY TURNS AROUND AND EATS AN "RKO" AS THE CROWD LET'S OUT A BIG CHEER.

J.R.: "Randy Orton returns the favor"!

Lawler: "This is getting weirder and weirder all the time, J.R...... Ramsley seems to have pulled the ultimatum he issued to Punk and put the decision in his own hands"!

J.R.: "Yes, but he also seems to have acquired a problem of Punk's in the form of Randy Orton in the process"!

COMMERCIAL BREAK.........

A COMMERCIAL FOR GATORADE IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY ANOTHER WRESTLEMANIA 12 PROMO, HYPING THE MEGA EVENT BY SHOWING SCENES OF THE DOWNTOWN DENVER AREA.

RETURN FROM BREAK..... RINGSIDE.......

WHEN RAMPAGE RETURNS, THE CANADIAN NATIONAL ANTHEM IS PLAYING AND ROB STORM IS IN THE RING AWAITING THE WORLD CHAMPION.

"THE NEXT EPISODE" BY DR. DRE STARTS UP AND HE COMES OUT TO A HUGE POP. HE HAS THE WORLD TITLE BELT IN HIS RIGHT HAND AS HE HEADS DOWN TO THE RING IN MUCH MORE OF A HURRY THAN USUAL.

J.R.: "We are back on Rampage and ready for tonight's main event as you see the World champion heading to the ring".

Lawler: "I see him and I see the look in his eyes..... I wouldn't want to be Rob Storm tonight".

J.R.: "As you can see, Matt Cruz is without Maria hear tonight and if you're just tuning in, Maria is reportedly missing...... I'm told Matt Cruz wanted to leave the arena to join the search but The Empire threatened stripping him of the title if he did".

Lawler: "Well it seems to me as though his plan is to make quick work of Canada's Favorite Son in order to do that".

Non-Title Match

Rob Storm vs. World Champ: Matt Cruz

Cruz came into the ring and shot a single leg on Storm, getting an easy takedown. He controlled Storm on the mat before striking him with several forearms to the head. He then got up and pulled Storm up, shooting him to the ropes for a big back body drop. Cruz didn't give Storm the chance to catch his breath and he was firing on all cylinders. After whipping Storm into the corner, Cruz moved in and then used his hulking shoulders, driving them into the midsection of Storm. But in order to bring himself back into the match, Storm poked Cruz in the eye. After a jumping calf kick took the World champion off his feet, Storm went down and began to rip at the eyes of Cruz with both hands. Referee Jim Korderas began to start a count, warning Storm to break it. But clearly, Storm's focus was Cruz's vision. He stayed on it before standing up and stomping right on the face of Cruz. He then grabbed the right leg of Cruz and seemed to be setting up the Maple Leaf but the strength of Cruz easily prevented it. After successfully blocking the hold, Cruz rolled to his side and used both feet, kicking Storm in the face. He then got up with an almost psychotic look in his eyes and began suplexing Storm all over the ring. After 3 belly to belly suplexes, Cruz pulled Storm up and onto his shoulders, delivering some sort of Helicopter Drop which drove Storm's face into the mat. Cruz rolled him over and got the 3 count to bring an abrupt end to the match.

Match Time: 6:03

CRUZ DIDN'T WASTE ANY TIME CELEBRATING, LEAVING THE RING AND GRABBING HIS BELT. AS "THE NEXT EPISODE" PLAYED, CRUZ WALKED UP THE RAMP IN A HURRY, BARELY EVEN ACKNOWLEDGING THE CHEERING FANS.

J.R.: "Matt Cruz has picked up a very impressive pre-WrestleMania win here but he clearly has other things on his mind".

Lawler: "Well where is Maria? That is the question of the night and we can only hope that Matt Cruz is able to find her".

J.R.: "We all pray for Maria's well being, good night folks".
