Devaney Sports Center

Lincoln, Nebraska

Attendance: 8.928

March 9, 2012

The arena used for athletics at the University of Nebraska was pumped for arguably one of the biggest events in the history of the complex. The stars of Rampage were in town ready to deliver a huge show.

Drew McIntyre vs. Yoshi Tatsu

The action started on Uprising and Drew McIntyre, who has promised a huge 2012, delivered with a convincing win over Yoshi Tatsu. Yoshi was able to strike McIntyre with some heavy kicks and after a spin kick to the jaw, he went to the top rope and came off with a flying roundhouse. McIntyre saw it coming and moved out of the way. He then rushed in and pulled Tatsu up, dropping him with the "Future Shock" DDT to get the win.

6 Man Tag Team Match

Wade Barrett and Demolition vs. Christian and Kings of Wrestling

This star-studded tag match was nothing short of a pure brawl. In two separate instances, all 6 men got into the ring to go at it. The referee had more than his hands full but late in the match, as the ref tried to restore some order, Claudio Castagnoli blasted Smash with a bicycle kick. He had the cover, but there was no ref to count. Barrett came into the ring and dropped an elbow on the back of Claudio's head. This allowed Smash to roll to his corner and tag in Ax. Smash then picked Castagnoli up and Ax came off the middle turnbuckle with the "Decapitation Device", clobbering Castagnoli. He then covered him and hooked the leg to get the win for his team.

RAMPAGE GOES LIVE

WHEN RAMPAGE STARTS UP, THE FANS ARE ALREADY LOUDLY CHEERING DUE TO THE OPENING PYRO AND THEY GET EVEN LOUDER WHEN "BLACK" BY SEVENDUST HITS AND SEBASTIAN CAIN COMES OUT.

J.R.: "Lincoln, Nebraska is the site for tonight's edition of TWF Rampage and here comes the current number one contender for the World title! King, a great night of action lined up here in Cornhusker country"!

Jerry Lawler: "Oh there's no doubt about that, we've got the number one contender and the World champion in singles action tonight but we also have what should be an explosive battle between the former tag team champions, Eddie Saint James and The Boogeyman"!

"ONE OF A KIND" COMES ON AND ROB VAN DAM COMES OUT TO A GREAT POP.

J.R.: "That is going to be a must see but Sebastian Cain has his hands very full tonight with RVD, a man who has a long list of accomplishments here in the TWF".

Lawler: "Sebastian Cain has been on a very impressive streak here but he will be tested tonight for sure".

Sebastian Cain vs. Rob Van Dam

In a show of good sportsmanship, the match started with a handshake before the two men locked up. Cain was able to gain the upperhand by pushing Van Dam into the corner. RVD switched position and drove a shoulder into the abdomen of Cain. After taking a step back, he ran in but Cain moved and the came back with a backdrop suplex. From there, he went to the apron and used the ropes to sling into the ring, clotheslining Van Dam when he got to his feet. After pulling RVD up, Cain used a snap suplex and floated over into a cover, drawing a 2 count. Back on the feet, Cain whipped him to the ropes and went for a clothesline. RVD ducked and then avoided a swinging backhand before connecting with a spinning heel kick. After landing the Rolling Thunder, RVD went to the top rope. Looking to hand a big setback to Cain, RVD flew off with a kick but Cain got out of the way. RVD landed very awkwardly on his right foot and appeared to tweak his angle. RVD hopped to the corner, favoring the ankle. Cain could smell blood when he saw this and he went and grabbed RVD, pulling him to the center of the ring and delivering the "Mark of Cain". Sebastian made the cover and hooked the leg as referee Scott Martin officially awarded him the match.

Match Time: 3:42

J.R.: "A mistake by RVD has cost him this match and maybe more.... the foot isn't supposed to bend that way".

Lawler: "And the train that is Sebastian Cain just keeps moving along right toward a match with Matt Cruz and that is one that I'm sure everyone is excited to see"!

"BLACK" PLAYED AGAIN AS CAIN SHOWED CONCERN FOR VAN DAM, HELPING HIM TO HIS FEET AS TRAINERS CAME TO THE RING TO CHECK ON HIM.

J.R.: "That is without a doubt going to be a terrific match and we will see Matt Cruz in action later tonight as he takes on the Celtic Warrior Sheamus".

BACKSTAGE......

CAMERAS IN THE BACK SHOW AJ HART GETTING LOOSE AS HE MAKES HIS WAY THROUGH THE BACKSTAGE AREA.

RETURN FROM BREAK...... RINGSIDE.....

WHEN RAMPAGE RETURNS, THE CANADIAN NATIONAL ANTHEM IS PLAYING AND IN THE RING IS LANCE STORM, WAVING THE FLAG OF CANADA PROUDLY.

"FIGHT" BY OLEANDER COMES ON AND AJ HART MAKES HIS WAY OUT TO A SLIGHT CHEER.

J.R.: "We welcome you back to TWF Rampage here on the USA network and we are ready for more action here as AJ Hart is looking for a little retribution on Rob Storm who inexplicably attacked him on the last Rampage".

Lawler: "Well I have a little inside info on that, J.R., and I don't think it's as unprovoked as you think. It has something to do with this guy using the name Hart..... I've heard he's from Brooklyn and his real name is Johnny Goomba, or something like that".

J.R.: "Oh that's ridiculous. AJ Hart is very respectful of the Hart Family and I've heard a rumor myself. I've heard that these two men will each captain their own teams into Deadly Games, our next Pay-Per-View event..... which we will have more on later tonight".

Rob Storm vs. AJ Hart

Storm got the jump on Hart after the bell sounded and landed a few right hands along with some kicks to the body. Off an irish whip, Storm missed with a swinging backhand but after Hart hit the other side, he connected with a flying calf kick. Storm then pulled Hart up and pushed him into the corner but Hart blocked a punch and came back with one to the body. Showing somewhat of a boxing background, he went to the body with some stiff punches before dropping Storm with a european uppercut. Hart ran the ropes but Storm recovered and got up, nailing Hart with a textbook dropkick. Storm made the cover but could only get a 2 count. He pulled Hart up and whipped him to the corner. After a snap mare, Storm went to the middle turnbuckle and waited for Hart to turn around. He jumped off with a crossbody but Hart caught him in mid air and turned him into a powerslam. Hart didn't have enough to make the cover but he went to the corner. Storm got up and Hart threw a savate kick but missed and Storm connected with a superkick of his own, jerking the head of Hart back. Storm hooked both legs deep on a cover attempt but again only got a 2 count. After showing a lot of resolve, Hart was gaining the support of the crowd. Storm shot him to the corner and charged in but Hart connected with a back elbow to the face. He then grabbed Storm and whipped him to the corner but Storm ran up the turnbuckle and came off with a pretty body press. However, Hart was able to roll through it into a cover and the leverage he had was enough to get the 3 count.

Match Time: 4:43

J.R.: "AJ Hart got him..... yes, that was a three count".

Lawler: "That is a shocker, J.R.! I think Storm may have taken this guy too lightly"!

AS "FIGHT" PLAYED AGAIN, HART WALKED UP THE RAMP WITH THE WIN, SLAPPING HANDS WITH FANS. IN THE RING, STORM ARGUED WITH REFEREE CHAD PATTON, SAYING HE'D GOTTEN A SHOULDER UP.

J.R.: "This was our first chance to see AJ Hart in action on Rampage and what a win! He just pinned a former King of Cable champion"!

Lawler: "I can't imagine that Storm is going to take this lying down, J.R.! I would expect him to find some partners capable of really damaging this guy at Deadly Games"!

THE UNIVERSAL SIGN OF POISON IS SHOWN, FOLLOWED BY SHOTS OF SEVERAL TWF SUPERSTARS.

Voiceover: "The superstars of the TWF used WrestleMania to bring their best on the biggest showcase in the world............ but it didn't settle all differences".

JOE COREY AND JOHN CENA ARE SHOWN.

Now, they wage war together, fighting for a common goal........ at the end of the night..... only one will be left standing to declare himself the winner........ of the Deadly Games".

FOR THE FIRST TIME IN TWF HISTORY, TEAMS OF THREE FACE OFF IN ELIMINATION STYLE MATCHES WITH THE WINNERS HEADING TO THE FINAL BATTLE..... FOR SURVIVAL.

BACK TO LIVE ACTION, TED DIBIASE IS SHOWN IN THE RING LOOKING ON AS HE AWAITS HIS OPPOSITION.

"WORTH DYING FOR" BY RISE AGAINST COMES ON AND STRIFE MAKES HIS WAY OUT TO A HUGE REACTION.

J.R.: "Deadly Games is definitely going to be a unique event and I can't wait to see some of the trios that enter that event, King".

Lawler: "I was just told in my headset that some matches will be announced on TWF.com very soon so make sure you log on to stay up to date with everything as we head to Deadly Games".

J.R.: "Ted Dibiase is set to lock up with the monstrous Strife who has been a runaway freight train, no pun intended, since returning to the TWF".

Lawler: "That he has but don't count Dibiase out..... he'll have something in mind here".

Ted Dibiase vs. Strife

Dibiase moved in on the big man and was able to secure a standing waistlock. Strife missed with a back elbow and Dibiase tried to lift him up, but couldn't manage it. After clubbing Dibiase over the back, Strife ran him over with a clothesline. He got Dibiase up and thrust him into the corner where he drove multiple elbows into him, really shaking him up. From there, he grabbed him under the right arm and just flung him across the ring. Strife went for an elbow drop but Dibiase was able to get out of the way. He got up and landed a low dropkick right to the face of Strife before trying to slap on the Million Dollar Dream while Strife was on the mat. Showing immense power, Strife got up with Dibiase on his shoulders and then just flung him over his head. After a running foot to the face, the end was near for Dibiase. Strife got him up for a nasty sidewalk slam before raising one arm in the air, signaling to the crowd that he was going to put Dibiase away. Strife loaded him up and delivered a ring rocking powerbomb before dropping into the cover and getting the win.

Match Time: 4:12

"WORTH DYING FOR" BEGAN TO PLAY AND THE CROWD CHEERED LOUDLY.

J.R.: "Another notch on the belt for the Locomotive and I can't see anyone derailing this guy".

Lawler: "Wait, look at this".

THE COMMOTION FROM THE CROWD CAUSED STRIFE TO TURN AROUND AND BROCK LESNAR WAS STANDING IN THE RING ACROSS FROM HIM. THE MUSIC STOPPED PLAYING AS THE TWO BIG BULLS STARED EACH OTHER IN THE EYES. NEITHER MAN BACKED DOWN AN INCH. AFTER SOME TENSE MOMENTS, LESNAR TURNED AND LEFT THE RING TO A CHORUS OF BOOS.

J.R.: "I'm not sure what that was all about, but if you want to know who the biggest and baddest is in the TWF, look no further than those two guys".

Lawler: "I think it was Lesnar sending a message to Strife, J.R...... this crowd wanted to see them go at it"!

J.R.: "It's a situation to monitor to be sure.... don't go away folks, we'll be right back"!

COMMERCIAL BREAK........

COMMERCIALS FOR CAPTAIN MORGAN AND DIRECT TV ARE SHOWN.

*** RESULTS WILL BE CONDENSED FROM THIS POINT OF THE SHOW****

RETURN FROM BREAK..... RINGSIDE......

Monica vs. Katie Lea

Rampage returned from break with divas action and Monica had her struggles with the always game Katie Lea. Perhaps Monica had her mind on the big match later tonight between The Saint and The Boogeyman? Katie Lea was able to slow her down with a rear chin lock on the mat after dropping her with a straight kick to the face. Katie tried to sap all the energy she could from Monica with the hold but Monica eventually got up and found a clever way to fling Katie to the mat. Monica would go on the offensive, punching and kicking at Katie before coming off the middle turnbuckle with a clothesline. She got Katie Lea up and went for an irish whip but Katie Lea countered and swung the former Women's champion right into a clothesline. Katie then went for an irish whip of her own but she mistimed the comeback and Monica grabbed her in a front facelock which she had on very tight. She then drove Katie's head into the mat with her vicious DDT and rolled her over into a cover to get the pin.

Match Time: 9:04

MONICA's CELEBRATION WAS CUT SHORT HOWEVER, AS THE WOMEN's CHAMPION KAYLA KARTER CAME TO THE RING WITH KHARMA. KAYLA HAD A MICROPHONE IN HAND.

Kayla Karter: "Very impressive win there, Monica. Too bad you'd never do that to me..... ya know, like you've been telling everyone you could. Oh yeah, I've heard the gossip.... I've heard the things being said. But it turns out we've got this little thing called Deadly Games coming up. So I thought I'd make you a little challenge. You find two partners..... and so will I..... and we'll see who prevails. Oh and, I'll give ya a little hint who one of mine will be".

KAYLA LOOKS OVER AT KHARMA BEFORE MONICA SNATCHES THE MIC FROM HER HANDS.

Monica: "No problem.... you're on. Now if you'll excuse me, I have an important matter to tend to".

MONICA LEAVES THE RING AS "THOUGHTLESS" BY EVANESCENCE PLAYS.

J.R.: "I'm not sure if that was such a good idea on Monica's part...... she might have to enlist the services of Godzilla to make things even with Kharma on the other side".

Lawler: "Kayla Karter is just out here to prove her supremacy, J.R., I love it"!

BACKSTAGE AREA......

IN THE BACK, COURTNEY TAYLOR IS WITH DOLPH ZIGGLER, WHO IS HOLDING THE WRESTLEMANIA JACKPOT BRIEFCASE.

Courtney Taylor: "Dolph, I just have to ask, have you thought about when you might cash in that briefcase"?

Dolph Ziggler: "Al I'm wondering right now is how you ever got a job asking stupid questions like that. The significance of having this briefcase (holds it up) is that no one knows when you're going to strike".

Courtney Taylor: "Well the World champion Matt Cruz is in action here tonight".

Dolph Ziggler: "I'm very much aware of that........

ZIGGLER WALKS AWAY AS THE SHOT GOES BACK TO THE RING.

IT IS ANNOUNCED THAT CHRIS TIRPAK, RICHARD RAMSLEY AND RANDY ORTON HAVE BEEN FORCED TO BE ONE TEAM AT DEADLY GAMES.

CM Punk and Jason Oliver vs. Chris Tirpak and Richard Ramsley

Punk and Oliver would seem to have the clear advantage over mortal enemies Tirpak and Ramsley in this one. And for much of the match, they did. Punk and Oliver took turns working over Ramsley, but even when Ramsley would turn the tides and have an opportunity to tag out, he wouldn't. Punk connected with a running knee in the corner before taking Ramsley down with a bulldog. Oliver was tagged in and he continued to treat Ramsley like a punching bag. After a belly to belly suplex, Oliver turned Ramsley over with the Sharpshooter in the center of the ring. Tirpak had seen enough, coming in and cracking Oliver with a kick to the face. He then pulled Ramsley to their corner and made the tag for him. Tirpak walked right into a spinning backfist from Oliver who then tagged in Punk. Punk used the ropes to slingshot from the apron and take the King of Cable champion out with a flying clothesline. Punk then got him up for the "GTS" but Ramsley came in to break things up. Oliver got into the ring and referee Jose Mendez was having a hard time keeping things under control. He tried to force Oliver to his corner and as he did, Ramsley went outside and got the KOC title. He brought it into the ring and looked like he was going to hit Tirpak with it but instead blasted Punk square in the face with it. Tirpak then got Punk up for the "Lights Out" and covered him for the pin.

Match Time: 11:13

After the match, Ramsley didn't look like he was going to hand the title back to Tirpak and all of the sudden, Randy Orton hit the ring and took Ramsley out with an "RKO". Before he could react, Tirpak found himself on the receiving end of one too. Then, for good measure, Orton put Oliver and then Punk down with an RKO too!

J.R.: "My God.... it's an RKO-fest out here"!

Lawler: "Orton better be careful.... he's gotta team with two of these guys at Deadly Games"!

J.R.: "Well I guarantee ya..... we won't see a more dysfunctional team at Deadly Games than this one"!

Lawler: "But they'll have to work together if they want a chance to be the ultimate winner that night"!

THE SHOT FADED OUT TO COMMERCIAL BREAK WITH "VOICES" PLAYING AND ORTON STANDING TALL IN THE RING.

COMMERCIAL BREAK..........

RETURN FROM BREAK....... RINGSIDE.....

The Boogeyman vs. Eddie Saint James w/ Monica

The team that held onto the tag team titles for an amount of time that may never again be approached imploded in this one, with both men throwing haymakers in the center of the ring. The Saint got the best of it and after catching Boogeyman with a clothesline, he picked him up and whipped him to the corner. When he ran in, Boogeyman stuck a foot into his face and then ran out with a clothesline of his own. After choking The Saint with both hands, The Boogeyman went over to the side of the ring Monica was on and he spit a mouthful of worms through the ring ropes and right onto her! The fans couldn't believe the vile gesture, but seeing this made The Saint lose all control. He attacked Boogeyman from behind and was all over him like some sort of crazed beast. After taking a few steps back, he ran in and kicked The Boogeyman square in the mouth with a running boot. After hitting "Death to Humanity", The Saint made the cover and got the win.

Match Time: 3:56

But he didn't stop there, rifling multiple right hands into the defenseless face of The Boogeyman, probably 30-40 in all. The paint had now been removed from The Boogeyman's face and he was just a bloody mess. Finally, Monica came into the ring to try and put a stop to Eddie's rage. The Saint got to his feet and just stared at his blood covered hands in disbelief.

J.R.: "Well I don't know what to make of this but thank God Monica interjected herself when she did...... who knows what would have happened".

Lawler: "The Boogeyman has literally been destroyed here.........

AS THE SAINT AND MONICA HEAD UP THE RAMP, THE CROWD DOESN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT TO THINK. EDDIE REMOVES THE BLOOD SPATTERED TAPE FROM HIS HANDS AND THE CAMERA CATCHES MONICA ASK SAINT "ARE YOU OKAY"? TO WHICH HE RESPONDS, "I AM NO SAVIOR".

BACKSTAGE.......

IN THE BACK, COURTNEY TAYLOR IS WITH A SMILING CRIS HENNING.

Courtney Taylor: "My guest at this time is Cris Henning who we have learned has been given a second chance in the TWF. Cris, how did this all come about"?

Cris Henning: "I wasn't satisfied with my first run here in the TWF. I know I can do better, I know there's a lot more to Cris Henning. But I was weighed down by others. So this time, it's just me. No Tiffanie, no Devon Wade, no.......

JUST THEN, MATT MORGAN ENTERS THE SHOT.

Matt Morgan: "Excuses, excuses..... tell me, Henning, what's gonna be so different this time? You were clearly the weak link of The Empire..... the only black mark we had".

Cris Henning: "And you weren't? Come on, are you even a part of The Empire anymore? C'mon, big man, you and I.........

Matt Morgan: "Shut up! And if you know what's good for you..... you'll steer clear of me".

MORGAN PUSHES HENNING ASIDE AND WALKS AWAY. BUT HENNING ISN'T HAVING IT AND HE ATTACKS MORGAN FROM BEHIND. GIVING UP PLENTY OF SIZE, HENNING TRADES SHOTS WITH MORGAN UNTIL OFFICIALS AND TWF AGENTS MOVE IN TO STOP THE FRACAS.

Non-Title Match

Sheamus vs. World Champion: Matt "Madik" Cruz

Shortly into the match, Dolph Ziggler came out to observe the contest from atop the stage. His presence seemed to throw Cruz off his game and allowed Sheamus to gain the upper hand. After some high impact moves, Sheamus went for the Brogue Kick but Cruz got out of the way. Sheamus was stuck up on the top rope and Cruz clotheslined him, taking him out of the ring. Cruz would follow but Sheamus got up and raked his eyes before throwing him into the steel ringpost. From there, Sheamus grabbed a chair and before he even did anything with it, referee Jim Korderas threw the match out. Shocked by this, Sheamus grabbed the right arm of Cruz and smashed it between the ring steps and the post. He then grabbed the chair and was going to smash the stairs with it, causing more pain to the arm when Sebastian Cain came running out and he nailed Sheamus from behind. Sheamus grabbed the chair and Cain picked it up, smashing him over the head. Much to the delight of the crowd, Sebastian Cain then allowed Cruz to free his arm as Ziggler just stood atop the ramp shaking his head.

J.R.: "How do ya like that, King? There's something you just don't see enough of in this business..... great sportsmanship and respect being shown by a great competitor and young man"!

Lawler: "Cain's an idiot...... why help the guy you're in line to face"?

J.R.: "I think that says a lot about the character of Sebastian Cain! Sure he could've sat back as Cruz's arm was beaten to a pulp, making a potential match against him easier, but instead he came out and he did the right thing! Good for you, Cain"!

Lawler: "I still don't like the decision. At the end of the day, you want to be at the top of the mountain and if you can make the climb a little easier, why not do it"?

J.R.: "Cause some guys don't want it that way....... that's all I can say to that".

NOW IN THE RING, CRUZ SHOOK THE HAND OF CAIN AS THE CROWD APPLAUDED TO CLOSE THE SHOW.

OFF AIR............
