Barclays Center

Brooklyn, New York

Attendance: 16,238

March 12, 2013

After back to back shows in Florida, Rampage stayed on the east coast, just much more north, as the TWF held its first ever show in Brooklyn from the brand new Barclays Center. The fans in the area were ready for it as over 16,000 fans poured into the arena.

Cris Henning vs. John Silver (invitee)

In the only match on Uprising, Cris Henning faced John Silver, competing from the local New York Wrestling Connection. Silver gave Henning some early trouble, landing back to back dropkicks before sending him into the corner and nailing a flying reverse kick to the jaw. Silver went to the top rope and came off with a crossbody block but Henning countered by stepping back and punt-kicking Silver right in the midsection. After a nice hip toss slam, Henning ran the ropes and caught Silver with somewhat of a reverse neckbreaker, pulling him face first into the mat. That led to a 3 count and a win for Henning.

RAMPAGE GOES LIVE

FOLLOWING THE OPENING MONTAGE, PYRO POPS OFF THE STAGE AND THOUSANDS OF FANS ARE SHOWN GOING WILD INSIDE THE BARCLAYS CENTER.

"SANDPAPER" BY FOZZY COMES ON AND TROY GAFGEN STEPS OUT FROM A SMOKE-FILLED ENTRYWAY, A SADISTIC LOOK ON HIS FACE.

Jim Ross: "Welcome to TWF Rampage here on the TWF Network everyone and King, we're jumping right into the action tonight."

Jerry Lawler: "There are several great matches taking place tonight, J.R., but there is also word that Travis Wakeman will make an announcement tonight regarding a new general manager for Rampage!"

YOSHI TATSU IS SHOWN IN THE RING, AWAITING GAFGEN. HE LOOKS READY BUT ALSO A LITTLE TIMID.

J.R.: "Well I talked to an old friend before we went on the air tonight but I don't wanna let the cat out of the bag. We'll keep our viewers anticipating that one."

Lawler: "Yoshi Tatsu better have a good gameplan prepared here, J.R.. Gafgen has been on a tear lately."

J.R.: "He looks like he's ready to devour poor Yoshi. This looks like a big mismatch to me and you're right, King. There's certainly been a reboot of sorts as it relates to Mr. Gafgen."

Troy Gafgen vs. Yoshi Tatsu

Right as the bell sounded, Troy attacked Yoshi from behind and threw him over the top rope. Gafgen then tossed Yoshi hard into the guard rail as the fans booed Troy loudly. He had an evil smirk on his face and when Yoshi began to get up and try to fire back, Troy kicked him hard in the abdomen and threw him into the ring steps. Gafgen just smiled as the fans booed loudly. He rolled Yoshi back into the ring and finally rolled in as the bell sounded for the match to officially start. Troy tossed Yoshi into the turnbuckle and began to ram his knees hard into his body. He then walked away for a second and then came back and drilled Yoshi with a clothesline. Troy then got Yoshi up and sent him to the ropes but Yoshi ducked a clothesline and came off the ropes with a dropkick to Gafgen. This brought the crowd back into the match as Yoshi started to build a small shift of momentum but when he turned around he was leveled with a big boot from Gafgen. The face of Tatsu was nearly erased as Troy hooked the leg and scored the pinfall.

Match Time: 2:14

J.R.: "Oh my gosh what a kick to the face! Yoshi might be out cold!"

Lawler: "I don't see him moving... and now Gafgen wants a microphone."

Troy Gafgen: "How often have you seen someone do what I just did here in the TWF? You people need to realize that I'm not just another superstar... come the next PrimeTime, I'll prove that again.".

GAFGEN DROPS THE MIC IN THE RING AND LEAVES TO THE SOUND OF "SANDPAPER".

J.R.: "PrimeTime? What's he referring to?"

BACKSTAGE...

IN THE BACK, RICHARD RAMSLEY IS SHOWN SITTING ON A PIECE OF SOUND EQUIPMENT, GAZING AT THE KING OF CABLE TITLE, WHEN DREW McINTYRE COMES UP.

Drew McIntyre: "Hey... Richard... Richie... those guys want to face us again?"

Richard Ramsley: "What guys?"

Drew McIntyre: "Saint and AJ Hart."

Richard Ramsley: I didn't hear anything about it...

Drew McIntyre: "Okay, truth is... I think we made a pretty good team out there last time and they say there is no way we could beat them again. I want to know...

Richard Ramsley: "Fine... I feel like punching someone in the face tonight."

Drew McIntyre: "That's what I was hoping you'd say...

McINTYRE TURNS TO WALK AWAY BUT STOPS HIMSELF.

Oh and one other thing. I know what happened after that last match was just a misunderstanding. See ya out there."

Richard Ramsley: "Right. And one other thing. Don't ever call me Richie again."

McINTYRE DOESN'T SEEM TO APPRECIATE THAT COMMENT AND JUST WALKS OFF AS THE SHOT FADES OUT ON A GLIMPSE OF THE K.O.C. BELT.

COMMERCIAL BREAK....

***FROM THIS POINT, RESULTS FOR THIS SHOW WILL BE CONDENSED IN AN EFFORT TO GET THINGS ON TRACK***

RETURN FROM BREAK... RINGSIDE...

Richard Ramsley and Drew McIntyre vs. A.J. Hart and Eddie Saint James w/ Monica

The last time Ramsley and McIntyre teamed up, Ramsley tried to attack McIntyre after the match. Keeping this in mind, McIntyre kept close tabs on the King of Cable champion during the match. But that caused his team to lose focus on the task at hand and the combination of Hart and The Saint took advantage, dominating the match. McIntyre took a beating in the match but after avoiding a running boot from Saint James, he took the big man down with a chop block. Slowly, McIntyre tried to make it to his corner for the tag but when he was just about there, Ramsley entered the ring and grabbed him in a front facelock. He then drove his own partner into the mat with the Evenflo DDT! The Saint was able to slap the hand of AJ Hart who went to the top rope and flew off with a perfect elbow drop on McIntyre, covering him for the 3 count as Ramsley headed to the back with his title in hand.

Match Time: 4:26

J.R.: "What in the world is Ramsley thinking?!"

Lawler: "He is sending a message to the number one contender for his title! Do you think Ramsley cared about this tag team match?!"

J.R.: "Well I guess McIntyre won't consider Ramsley as a tag team partner in the future."

BACKSTAGE....

CAMERAS IN THE BACK SHOW DOLPH ZIGGLER WITH THE GIANT OF A MAN WE SAW HIM WITH ON THE LAST RAMPAGE. TRAVIS WAKEMAN WALKS BY BUT ZIGGLER STOPS HIM.

Dolph Ziggler: "Hey, Mr. Wakeman, got a minute?"

Travis Wakeman: "Manners being shown by Dolph Ziggler? Is everything OK?"

Dolph Ziggler: "Look, I'm trying to be a different man, seeing as I am the face of your company."

ZIGGLER TURNS TO THE BIG MAN WITH HIM AND SHOWS A SILLY GRIN.

Travis Wakeman: "What I can I do for you.... champ?"

Dolph Ziggler: "I'm hearing all kinds of rumors about who I'm gonna be defending this title against next and I just want you to tell me if they're true. It's only right that I get the proper amount of time to prepare for my opponent."

Travis Wakeman: "Well, Dolph, that's not my department anymore. That's something you'll have to take up with the new GM of Rampage. In fact, I'm off to make that announcement now...

WAKEMAN HEADS OFF TOWARDS THE RING.

BACK IN THE ARENA, THE FANS CHEER AS WAKEMAN COMES OUT CARRYING A MICROPHONE. HE IS WEARING THE NEW TWF NETWORK T-SHIRT.

Lawler: "Wait a minute... right now?! We're gonna find out who the new GM is right now?!"

J.R.: "That's what I got from that. We may need to be minding our P's and Q's out here, King."

Travis Wakeman: "Good evening TWF fans.... I hope all of you here in Brooklyn are enjoying tonight's show.

THE FANS GO WILD WITH CHEERS.

As I promised when we launched the TWF Network, both Rampage and PrimeTime will be getting new general managers. That's just one of many changes that will be made in the near future here in the TWF and there will be more on that later. But for now... it's time to announce the new general manager of Rampage.

THE FANS AGAIN CHEER

I considered several people for this position, both male and female. In the end, I wanted someone with experience on the biggest stages... someone who won't take any crap from anyone while at the same time having a good head on their shoulders. All of that made the choice easy. So without any further adieu, your NEW Rampage general manager....

J.R.: "Look at this King.... it's Diamond Dallas Page!"

Lawler: "Wow... I have to admit, I never thought of him!"

J.R.: "One of the true success stories in this industry! DDP is the new General Manager of Rampage!"

DDP ENTERS THE RING AND SHAKES HANDS WITH WAKEMAN BEFORE PUTTING UP HIS FAMOUS "DIAMOND" HAND SIGNAL. THE FANS ARE LOUDLY CHEERING AS PAGE TAKES THE MIC FROM WAKEMAN.

Diamond Dallas Page: "Thank you... thank you guys. I honestly didn't know how you'd react to me being here and I have to tell you, when Travis called me and offered me the job, I had some mixed feelings. This (he points into the crowd), this makes it all worth it. I have to tell you, I plan to run Rampage as fairly and unbiased as I know how. Those who are deserving will be the people who get the shots at titles and those who get in my face... hell even if I am a little older... they've got a Diamond Cutter in their future! Our next pay-per-view event is the Royal Rumble and I am already at work to make that event as good as it has ever been!"

THE CROWD POPS AS PAGE DROPS THE MIC AND SLAPS HANDS WITH WAKEMAN AGAIN BEFORE HIS THEME SONG KICKS UP.

J.R.: "What an announcement! Rampage is definitely heading in the right direction now, King!"

Lawler: "I gotta say, I like the decision too. DDP has seen it all and done it all in professional wrestling and it's really hard to argue with this choice!"

WAKEMAN AND PAGE HEAD TO THE BACK TOGETHER AS THE SHOT FADES OUT.

COMMERCIAL BREAK...

RETURN FROM BREAK... RINGSIDE...

Matt "Madik" Cruz vs. Wade Barrett

From the sound of the opening bell, Matt Cruz was all over the bigger Wade Barrett. With a barrage of right hands and a step-back dropkick, Barrett was sent through the ropes and to the outside of the ring. The crowd loved it, as Cruz taunted to create even more noise throughout the Barclays Center. Cruz pointed to the outside of the ring and appeared to be going for a dive, but just as he approached the ropes, Barrett caught him with a pointed elbow to the jaw. Cruz dropped to the mat like a ton of bricks and Barrett immediately rolled back into the ring for the 1... 2... No, Cruz gets his shoulder up. Barrett stayed on Cruz, pummeling him with downed elbows before lifting him up to his feet and throwing him back down with a scoop slam. After running the ropes, Barrett hit Cruz with another elbow across the chest. The Brit dropped into another cover, but again garnered only a count of two. Barrett proceeded to argue with the referee, debating that he registered a three this time around. After spending valuable time arguing the call, however, Barrett turned right into a stiff right hand from Cruz. Barrett was groggy and Cruz sent him off of the ropes, planting him with an Inverted Atomic Drop and coming back with a Discus Clothesline! Cruz immediately screamed out to the crowd, drawing a huge reaction from those in attendance. Cruz picked Barrett back up, this time hooking him up for a double underhook. Barrett was able to wiggle free, but just as he went for a low blow, Cruz caught his leg and planted him with a catch Spinebuster! The crowd was going insane as Cruz called for the end, when suddenly, Jack Swagger emerged from the back. The cheers instantly turned to boos, as Cruz caught wind of Swagger's presence. Cruz immediately screamed out to Swagger, begging him to come in for a fight. Just as Swagger approached the ring, however, Wade Barrett came up from behind with the school boy for the 1... 2... 3! Barrett stole it thanks to Swagger's distraction!

Match Time: 7:53

Right after the match, Swagger came in and attacked Cruz. After several shots from behind, Swagger got the former World champion up and slammed him to the mat with his gutwrench powerbomb.

Lawler: "Have we missed something, J.R., why is Swagger doing this to Matt Cruz?"

J.R.: "I was just wondering the same thing, King, but the Oklahoma-Texas rivalry shouldn't bring this much rage. Swagger has come uncorked!"

SWAGGER HEADED TO THE BACK, LEAVING CRUZ LYING IN THE RING AS THE CROWD BOOED.

BACKSTAGE...

DDP IS JUST GETTING SETTLED INTO HIS OFFICE WHEN CHRIS HERO AND CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI ENTER.

DDP: "You guys could knock, ya know?"

Chris Hero: "Sorry for our intrusion Mr. General Manager... I sure hope there isn't a 60-year old Diamond Cutter in our future."

DDP GETS UP IN HERO's FACE.

DDP: "Cut the crap. What do you want?"

Claudio Castagnoli: "What do we want? We want some competition. We've held these titles and haven't even been slightly threatened. It's pretty sad, really."

Chris Hero: "Wakeman just said he's making changes to the TWF. How come the tag team division hasn't been a focus since like... 2003?"

DDP: "OK, I'll tell ya what. I'll find you guys some competition. I'll find two opponents who have never competed in the TWF as a team. That way, there will be no way for you to complain. Now please, get out of my office."

MOMENTS AFTER THE KINGS OF WRESTLING LEAVE THE OFFICE, CM PUNK AND JASON OLIVER COME IN.

DDP: "Oh boy, now what?"

CM Punk: "Oh, don't tell us you're already frustrated with your new job duties, Dallas. Because let me assure you, there's enough headaches around here to house an entire Betty Ford Clinic."

Jason Oliver: "We heard you talk about the Royal Rumble earlier. Surely you recognize the fact that we are two of the top superstars around here."

CM Punk: "So we came to throw our names in the hat as the first two participants in the Rumble match."

DDP: "I'll tell ya what, I'll give that some consideration. In the meantime, why don't the two of you actually try to do something around here, rather than just talk about what you deserve. I'm putting the two of you in a tag team match.... against Sebastian Cain and Christian."

Jason Oliver: "Pshh, like that's supposed to be some giant obstacle we can't overcome? Those two don't even like each other."

Ryback vs. Sylvester Terkay

The ref would have a hard time getting this match under control as both Ryback and Terkay would brawl, hitting each other with hard punches. Within a few minutes, Terkay would have the upper hand, landing a huge power slam to his opponent. But it looked like it didn't even stun the big man from Sin City. He just looked at Terkay and was taunting him to bring his A-Game. After a few more minutes, Ryback would be out on the floor, giving Terkay a breather. After using every trick in his book outside, he tossed what seemed like a wounded Ryback into the ring and then picked him up ready to end it with a quick Heart Punch. But Ryback ducked and delievered a HUGE MEAT HOOK CLOTHESLINE!!!!!!! The Crowd started chanting, knowing it was feeding time for Ryback. After shouting "FINISH IT!", he lifted Terkay up and with authority, hit the "Shell Shocked" to score a big victory.

Match Time: 4:21

RETURN FROM BREAK... RINGSIDE...

WHEN RAMPAGE RETURNS FROM BREAK, TYSON KIDD IS IN THE RING READY TO GO ONE-ON-ONE WITH TED DIBIASE.

Before the match can start, Money Mike comes out from the back and gets into the ring, attacking Kidd from behind. As Dibiase watched in surprise, Mike went to town on Kidd, rocking him with right hands. As Kidd staggered to his feet, Mike corralled him in and hit the "Money Pit" as the crowd erupted in boos. Mike then got up and stared over at Dibiase before extending his hand to him with an evil grin on his face. Dibiase accepted the handshake as the crowd booed. Money Mike then got a microphone.

J.R.: "What in the hell is going on here?"

Money Mike: "I told everyone not long ago that the New Order was coming. Here, before your eyes in one of the trashiest cities I have ever been to, you have seen the group begin it's formation."

MIKE THROWS THE MICROPHONE ASIDE AS HE AND DIBIASE LEAVE THE RING TOGETHER.

Lawler: "Well he did tell us about this New Order, J.R."

J.R.: "I just don't understand what he wants. Money Mike is still trying to sabotage this company somehow and deep down, I just feel that!"

Lawler: "We're just gonna have to wait to see where he wants to take this New Order and who, if anyone, will try to get in his way."

BACKSTAGE....

IN THE BACK, JENN STERGER IS WITH SEBASTIAN CAIN.

Jenn Sterger: "Sebastian, we just heard that you will team with Christian tonight to face CM Punk and Jason Oliver. After a few matches with Christian as your opponent, how do you feel about teaming with him tonight?"

Sebastian Cain: "I don't even care. I'll just go out there because our new General Manager told me to. I just hope he lives up to his word and rewards those that are deserving. I'm not about to toil around on the mid card for another five years while some higher member of management waits for me to get my shot."

Jenn Sterger: "To what are you referring, exactly?"

CAIN GIVES STERGER A STARE BEFORE JUST WALKING AWAY.

IN THE RING, DOLPH ZIGGLER's MUSIC IS PLAYING AND HE IS IN THE RING WITH HIS BODYGUARD.

Dolph Ziggler: "Diamond Dallas Page, huh? DDP... Mr. Self High Five. Well, DDP, allow me to introduce you to your World heavyweight champion... the Show-Off, Dolph Ziggler. As some of you have noticed, I realized how important an asset I am to this company so I decided to go out and find someone to watch my back. Seven feet tall and three-hundred and sixty pounds of pure muscle. This is Austin Bane and if you want to mess with the champ, you can bet you'll deal with him. But I want to speak directly to DDP right now because I feel he will appreciate this. I have to decided to create an open challenge for any former World champion to face me. Now I don't care if they're a former TWF superstar or they're from Japan. Of course, DDP, you yourself aren't eligible to accept my challenge because well, I don't want to be reprimanded for beating up our new authority figure. So any of you out there who feel you can get in the ring and beat me, please feel free to step up. This is all in an effort to show those watching around the world that I intend to be the greatest World champion you have ever seen around here. Of course, the title will not be on the line in these matches."

J.R.: "Of course not."

Ziggler: "Former champions line up. You'll soon realize that you aren't and never were in the same league as the Show-Off!"

"I'M HERE TO SHOW THE WORLD" HITS AS ZIGGLER AND AUSTIN BANE LEAVE THE RING.

J.R.: "He opened himself up to a lot of possibilities there, King."

Lawler: "He sure did, but take a look at that Austin Bane. Anyone who is thinking of accepting this challenge has to keep that in the back of their head. Ziggler flat out said they'd have to tangle with the big man if they mess with him."

J.R.: "A very interesting challenge from our World champion from both a competitive and a psychological standpoint."

COMMERCIAL BREAK...

AN AD IS SHOWN FOR BLEACHER REPORT AND THE B/R TEAM STREAM APP.

RETURN FROM BREAK...

Jason Oliver and CM Punk vs. Sebastian Cain and Christian

This was a very competitive match as all four men put forth an excellent effort. Christian and Cain actually seemed to be the better team in the match until Christian got angry when Cain wasn't ready for a tag following a reverse DDT on Oliver. Christian yelled in the face of Cain but after he turned his back, Cain came in and nailed Christian from behind before hitting the "Mark of Cain" on him! Cain left the ring as Oliver made the tag to Punk. The match result wasn't in doubt at this point, but Punk lifted Christian up for the "GTS" for good measure and then covered him for the win.

Match Time: 10:38

BACKSTAGE...

IN THE BACK, ZIGGLER IS SHOWN WALKING DOWN THE HALL, LOOKING VERY FULL OF HIMSELF. HE COMES TO HIS DRESSING ROOM BUT FINDS STRIFE STANDING IN FRONT OF THE DOOR, HIS ARMS CROSSED OVER HIS CHEST.

Strife: "Your challenge has been accepted. It's you and me for the title at the Royal Rumble."

Dolph Ziggler: "You must've heard wrong or maybe you need a Q-tip. I said the matches in this challenge would not be for the title."

Strife: "Then take it up with Page, cause I just put my name on a contract for a shot at the Royal Rumble."

STRIFE AND BANE ENGAGE IN A LONG STARE DOWN BEFORE STRIFE WALKS AWAY. FRUSTRATED, ZIGGLER KICKS THE DOOR TO HIS DRESSING ROOM.

Handicap Match

Brock Lesnar vs. Chris Tirpak and Axl Irvin

In the main event, Lesnar was ready for the challenge of two men. But for Tirpak and Irvin, two men who were once bitter rivals, this was not about winning a match. Tirpak came to the ring first and Lesnar was all over him. But taking a page out of his partner's book, Axl came to the ring with a kendo stick and smashed Lesnar in the back of the head. This allowed Tirpak to get his kendo stick and together, they put a beating on Lesnar. Countless shots with the kendo sticks bounced off the body of Lesnar as his chest and back welted up. But with Lesnar still coming, Tirpak finally cracked him across the head, busting him open.

Lesnar bled badly on the ring mat as "For Whom the Bell Tolls" played and he and Axl stood tall in the ring to bring Rampage to a close.
