Random thoughts from TWF Headquarters.
Injury Report
To get you all caught up on a few superstars.
Eddie Guerrero: His 3 cracked ribs are fully healed and he will return once a program is worked out for him.
Papa Shango: Cracked fibula did not require surgery, just a lot of healing time.
Ken Shamrock: His bruised larynx caused some trouble for a bit but he is also taking some time off to do some shoot fighting in Japan and spend some time with his family. He is anxious to get back.
The Brutile Bulldog: Rehab has begun but no return date has been targeted.
The Big Show: Broken foot is healing well but officials would also like him to drop a few pounds.
As we draw closer to Welcome to our Yard, we are confident the interpromotional event will be a huge success. If it goes over well, the TWF and WCW2 are in talks to have 1 each year. I think Triple H vs. Stone Cold will be a classic and I can't wait to see Travis Wakeman vs. his brother. If these two have the kind of match I think they will, this could be the story of the year. I love what Commissioner Piper did by forcing the alliance and the Hardcore Revolution to band together. Piper could really kill two birds with one stone here. Not only does he put a major force against WCW2 in that match, maybe the Revolution's threat to destroy the TWF will disappear. Edge and Christian have told a great story and I can't wait for that one. By the way, I can't say enough about how impressed I am with Cammie Copeland. She'll go a long way in this business. Rhyno and Kane should be a war and if Kane doesn't be careful, Rhyno could walk out the champ. Not sure about The Rock's open challenge. Good idea? We'll have to wait and see. Personally, I think Chris Jericho is making a huge mistake getting back into a steel cage after the injury he suffered. Hopefully, he comes out of the match ok. Officials are mulling over the idea to have a women's match and some sort of tag team battle royale at Welcome to our Yard but I think the best pure match of the night will be between Bret Hart and Lance Storm. Great match for you wrestling purists.
Gotta say I love the addittion of the new show Uprising. Perfect combo of showcasing SMW talent while getting TWF stars more in ring time.
I believe Nuke and Metallic Hangover could be big stars someday if they become more dedicated.
I'd also like to express my regret of having to let go Harper Bane. We wish this kid all the luck.
My main question right now, who are these mysterious ninjas? Someone knows.
That's all the time I have for this week guys! Gotta get ready for the PPV!
