Diano's 2 cents

March 4, 2003

Injuries:

First I want to talk about a guy who I am a fan of and that's pound for pound the toughest man in wrestling, Bob "Hardcore" Holly. He is well on his way to a full recovery and on his way back into the TWF but trainers do not want to rush it due to the type of injury. So look for Holly's return to be slow and very cautious on the part of officals. As far as Billy Gunn goes, he had reconstructive knee surgury done by Dr. Jim Andrews and is resting in his home down in Texas. He has said that he has contemplated retirement to spend more time with his family. Also, look for Spike Dudley to be back in the next few weeks.

Show Thoughts:

SMW: The SMW has really been doing well over the past few weeks and TWF officals have been real impressed with everyone involved, especially most of the younger guys that have just started coming into their own and veteran Rip Rogers who has done very well in the SMW for what he was hired for and the TWF and Vince McMahon have been impressed by all involved down there.

mFw: Very slowly but surely ,the mFw is starting to grow more impressive as the weeks go on. It has an extremely gifted locker room consisting of talented young guys and several veterans. For Jesse Steele, the man, in charge of the mfw there are several who impress him.

Jesse Steele: "Everyone here busts their asses for me and the company but Jerry Lynn is a major help in several ways and I am also a huge fan of America's Most Wanted who are a great team. JD Blaze is a kid I've known since he was ten years old from my old neighborhood, but I don't play favorites. Everyone works hard and everyone helps the mFw".

RAW:

Stephanie McMahon has done a great job leading RAW since she took it over from her father and for me there are two guys I love to watch that are some of the reasons for Raw's success. First is Nails. He is no doubt a future hall of famer and how he manages to survive these toughman matches is beyond me and the other is the man they call the Big dog. The Undertaker has had a resurgence over the past few months and he constantly shows the wrestling world why he's everything he and all his peers say he is.

PrimeTime:

This show is in serious jeopardy of failing due to several problems over the past few months, namely Stone Cold leaving for RAW and several others leaving period. Also, with Jordan Rockwell nursing a really bad left knee injury that isn't getting any better and his constant issues with Shane McMahon, several others will have to step up. Luckily the show got a major boost with the signing of Kurt Angle at Code Red.

Tidbits:

Look for a breakout preformance by High Octane who got a major win at Code Red. I am looking forward to seeing Stone Cold in action against the best RAW has to offer. On PrimeTime, the situation with Rockwell and Shane McMahon needs to be resolved and Rockwell needs to take care of that knee injury that in all honesty, cost him the TWF Universal title. I believe the breakout preformer on PrimeTime is a toss up between "the whole dam show" Rob Van Dam and a guy I am a fan of and that's Dylan Jansens who honestly reminds me a bit of Jordan Rockwell simply because the dragon's come a long way in a short amount of time. Okay, that's all for this time, so this is ya boy JD saying that's my 2 cents but hey, I'm not tellin' you anything you don't all ready know!
