Mike Duffy Uncut- 2nd Edition

June 22, 2003

Welcome to the second edition of Mike Duffy Uncut! Today I’m going to look at what the TwF would be like if the roster split was ended for one night. What would a Raw vs. Primetime PPV would look like?

Raven (PT) vs. Spawn (Raw)-

Raven, who looks as though he is about as hardcore as Martha Stewart folding napkins into swans over on Primetime, would be an awesome addition to the Toughman division. Spawn has been dominant on Raw, taking out guys like Nails, and I see him as a potential World champion eventually. This match would be insane, and neither man would be the same after. Raven has the experience, but Spawn is a monster.

Makes the cut: Spawn (Raw)

A-Train (Raw) vs. Batista (PT)-

Two of the strongest guys on their respective divisions. This match would be very high impact, but I also think that it could be a crowd pleaser. A-Train has been improving greatly but I can’t see him defeating this monster Batista.

Makes the cut: Batista (PT)

The Psych Ward (PT) vs. Los Guerreros (Raw)-

I think seeing Crazy Shane against the high flying Guerreros would be amazing. Unfortunately for Shane he’s got his big dumb friend Breakdown holding him down. Until Shane finds a better partner, Psych Ward will continue to lose.

Makes the cut: Los Guerreros (Raw)

Chris Tirpak/Bradshaw (PT champs) vs. HHH/Malice (Raw champs)-

Sorry Primetime fans but this match is no contest. As much as I would LOVE to see Tirpak and Bradshaw beat the piss out of Malice and HHH, it could never happen. HHH is the best in the TwF and Malice complements him very nicely. (It may seem like I am putting over the Raw Tag Division as better…I am not at all, All of the other Primetime tag teams have no competition on RAW)

Makes the cut: HHH/Malice (Raw)

Nails (Raw) vs. Rhyno (PT)-

Nails has been a dominant force in the TwF for quite sometime now. He has proven to everyone that its Hardcore or nothing. BUT, Rhyno has been a man on a mission recently, and has more to prove. This match would be a treat for TwF and staff.

Makes the cut: Rhyno (PT)

High Octane (Raw) vs. Rob Van Dam (PT)-

Student vs. Teacher…Wow. This match could be one of the most entertaining match ups ever. RVD taught Octane everything he knew coming into the TwF, but Octane has been taught by the likes of Hulk Hogan, Undertaker and most recently HBK. With all of these veterans taking interest in Octane, I would have to go with the “New HBK”.

Makes the cut: High Octane (Raw)

Scott Steiner, The Undertaker and Bahamut (Raw) vs. Travis Wakeman, Jordan Rockwell and Kurt Angle (PT)

This match is hard to judge. All six of these guys can potentially be the top guy on their respective shows. Taker, Wakeman and Rockwell have all been there and Angle, Steiner and Bahamut all look poised to make a run for the title. I see the Primetime team winning, just because they have a little more main event experience.

Makes the cut: Team Primetime

Austin Pyromania (Raw Toughman champ) vs. Matt Hardy (PT Intercontinental Champ)-

I am very glad to see Matt Hardy with the gold. He deserves it. Unfortunately I can not say the same for Austin. Though I do consider him to be the next “Big Star” to develop on Raw, he does not belong in the Toughman division. A guy like Nails or Psymin will take him apart at their first opportunity, though I hope I’m wrong.

Makes the cut- Matt Hardy (Primetime)

Brock Lesnar (Universal Champion-PT) vs. Strife (World Champion-Raw)-

This is the kind of match that you wake your kids up for and tell them that they’ll remember this match for the rest of their lives. Two great champions, fighting each other for the right to be THE champion. Both men are bulls and would no doubt give this match everything they have. I see Strife winning this, only because he has went through so much to get where he is.

Makes the cut-Strife (Raw)

Well there it is, my Raw vs. Primetime pay per view. Yes, I left out MANY great wrestlers, such as The Four Elements, Most of Civil Rights, Hulk Hogan and Kevin Nash. I think these are the best possible match ups for a huge PPV. And if you don’t like that you can email me at Messengerpigeon888@yahoo.com Peace
