Anarchy Rulz Edition
July 27, 2003
Okay it is once again pay-per-view time here in the TWF so that means it's time for another edition of Diano's 2 cents; RAW ppv style!
1. RAW tag team title match: Triple H/Malice (champions) vs Scott Steiner/Billy Gunn:
This match is intriging on a couple levels. First is the fact that Triple H has teamed with both of his teams opponents at diffrent points in his career here in the TWF and the other is that Billy Gunn is considered to be one of the greatest tag team wrestlers of all time and Steiner was part of one of the greatest tag teams ever so this will be a good match. But the real factor will be as always the monster Malice.
my pick: Triple H and Malice successfully defend their titles.
2.tag team flag match: Los Guerrero's vs La Resistance:
This match may be one of the show stealers with the rookie team going against the veteran team with two major factors coming into play. One being William Regal who isn't above getting involved to help his team and the other is the experience factor that ways the scales in the favor of Eddie and Chavo.
my pick: Eddie and Chavo win
3. TWF World title match: Strife (champion) vs Bahamut:
This will be a match with two men who know each other very well and to top it off, the World title will be on the line when two of the biggest men on RAW collide.
my pick: Strife retains the World title.
Ruler of Raw:
1. Nathan Jones vs Ron "The Truth" Killings:
Teddy Long's crew has been on a real downward spiral as of late while Nathan Jones hasn't exactly been on the winning trail himself. Both men need a win in this.
my pick: Nathan Jones advances
2. Akasha vs Nemesis:
This is the one to see in my opinion when the baddest chick on the planet faces the king of mystery. But in my opinion, I think this is one Nemesis needs to win.
my pick: Akasha moves on
3. High Octane vs Spawn:
The wierd Spawn faces the much improved Damion West in what will be a battle of youth. But one factor in my opinion will be the injured ankle of High Octane and whether it will play a factor in him being able to hit the Head on Collision to win the match.
my pick: High Octane revs on.
4. The Undertaker vs John Cena:
This is gonna be the one out of all not to miss when old school faces new school. On one side you have the greatest TWF superstar of all time versus the real future of RAW. I think you have to look for everything that is negative and positive from both men to play into this one from the start to the finish of it.
my pick: Either would be a good victor to move on.
IS IT ME?
1. Is it me or does John Cena seem to be getting a few more cheers then he gets booed?
2. Is it me or does Rene Dupree remind all of you of Rick Martel in some ways?
3. Is it me or is Teddy Long slowly but surely losing control of his stable?
4. Is it me or is it weird to see Triple H in a tag team match and not the main event?
5. Is it me or has Strife been oddly silent about his match versus Bahamut?
6. Is it me or will the Ruler of RAW tournament be a major step for a couple of the people in it?
Before I end this I wanna dedicate this one to High Octane and his family for the loss they suffered, so for this month and to Octane's grandfather, this has been my two cents. But as always, I'm not telling you anything you don't already know.
