Diano's 2 Cents: Vol. 8

October 15, 2003

Okay, it's time once again for the next installment of my two cents but as always, I wanna start off normal before the insanity begins. So I want to wish everyone happy holidays for all them coming up. Now.... let the insanity begin!

RAW

Obviously things have gone from hectic to down right out of control for Stephanie McMahon and it's all thanks to one man that you can bet will feel the wrath of the billion dollar princess, William Regal. He cheated Shawn Michaels out of his postion as enforcer and gave the position to Triple H who you know will use the power of enforcer to his advantage all the way and I guess you can say the newly named Spike tv will be must see tv. As far as what has impressed me and what hasn't, I will start with the good this time. I am as always impressed by High Octane and his continual rise to the top of RAW. Also I've been impressed with the Nails led group Anarchy Inc. for showing no fear when it comes to going at legends like the Undertaker and also the Road Warriors. I am not impressed at all with William Regal and his boys La Resistance specifically for their need for under handed b.s. in order to get a shot at the tagt eam titles. If they couldn't get one by earning it, then they must not have that much confidence in themselves and must not be that good of a tag team to begin with.

mFw

Over the past few months the mFw has grown more in popularity and it's current locker room of talented superstars have gotten more experience for it's rookies and a rebirth of sorts for it's veterans. I have really been impressed with the rise of Marcus Hansen and Scott Callous. They have really turned it up over the past few months and look for them to do more. I haven't been impressed though with the diwindling down of the women's division of the mFw. I think they need at least one or two more women and they need to use the division more.

PRIMETIME

Once again things heated up on PrimeTime with the union of Brock Lesnar and Batista along with Sable trying everything in their power to try and take control from Shane McMahon. But they have run themselves into a road block, that being Jordan Rockwell and Rhyno along with several others looking to aid Shane o'Mac in their downfall. I have been really impressed with the newly revamped tag team division on Primetime. With teams like Rockwell and Rhyno along with the Four Elements and the Million Dollar Corporation, Chris Tirpak and Bradshaw, this division is as good if not better then ever. Also I am becoming a fan of the lightheavyweight division slowly and it's increasing competion and talent roster is making it more exciting to watch... no question. I am not impressed however with the competion for the Universal title due to the fact that everyone that has challenged Brock Lesnar so far has dropped the ball and yes he is a great athlete, but is he unbeatable? I say thats a no".

SMW

Once again under new ownership, the SMW starts over in the world of wrestling. The new head of the SMW has stressed that everyone in SMW will earn their place which will push everyone to do better then they ever have but then again may push them in a negative way as well. For the first time ever, I have nothing bad to say cause the tag team division continues to improve with recent additions and the world title picture is on fire as always.

Random Topics

1. Triple H as RAW enforcer: This isn't gonna be pleasant for anyone but Triple H himself cause now he has power again and as always, when he has power, he only uses it for his own personal gain.

2. PrimeTime vs. RAW: While PrimeTime does have the better crop of young talent and a fairly better tag team division, the one thing RAW has over them that weighs the scales even is that while Shane McMahon continues to put out a more exciting product, his sister Stephanie continues to be the smarter one when it comes to the business side. She continually adds more veterans to her roster and quickly pounces on the new wrestlers in the door.

3. Randy Orton vs. John Cena: While they may be on seperate shows, I think this is one rivalry that will grow due to the simple fact that Randy has a lot more going for himself and yet is being outdone by Cena. That's why in my opinion, John Cena is the best young athlete in the TWF but in all fairness, Orton has more obstacles to overcome because he has to deal with Stone Cold.

IS IT ME?

1. Is it me, or does Shane Thompson look like he needs to be carded before he' allowed in an arena to wrestle?

2. Is it me, or does Triple H seem afraid to face High Octane on his own?

3. Is it me, or does Bahamut seem to be the one that can finally beat Brock Lesnar for the Universal title?

4. Is it me, or do Brock and Batista seem like brothers from different parents?

IN THE END

In the end I want to take this time to congratulate all the TWF members who have been enjoying success over the past few weeks or so and also welcome all the new faces to the TWF family.

Well my time is up so as always, (drew) this is ol' JD saying this has been my two cents, but I'm not telling you anything that you don't already know.
