Deadly Games
November 27, 2003
It's now once again time for everyone's favorite column...... mine! (insert evil laugh here) And once again, happy holidays to everyone here in the TWF and to all your families. Let the madness begin!
RAW matches
1. TWF title match: The Undertaker vs. Nemesis
The roller coaster that is Nemesis gets a shot at the deadman at Deadly Games and as always, this is one that Nemesis needs to win to get on the right path.
my pick: Undertaker
2. Triple H's team vs. High Octane's team:
The game will lead his team into battle against the team captained by the mvp of RAW, Damion West. This maybe Octane's first time as a captain but I think Triple H may be in trouble against him.
my pick: Team Octane in some form
3. King of Cable title match: John Cena vs. A-Train
The doctor of thuganomics may have run onto the tracks in this one, facing his largest opponent who happens to know him very well. May be a problem for Cena.
my pick: John Cena
4. Team Nails vs. Team Pyromania:
The match up of the first ballot hall of famer against the heated up superstar will be one to see as Pyromania has pinned Nails before so that will motivate both men in this.
my pick: Nails' team in some form
5. Nathan Jones& Ron Killings vs. Kurt Angle & ?:
This one may be another to watch since Angle has the advantage in this one, with only him knowing who his partner is and Jones not being much of a team player.
my pick: Kurt Angle and mystery partner
PrimeTime matches
1. Universal title/flaming cage match: Travis Wakeman vs. Bahamut:
The technical magician's title reign might end right as it began when he faces the big nasty in this dangerous match up.
my pick: Wakeman
2. Team Lesnar vs. Team Rockwell:
The continual rivalry between the two man power trip and Jordan Rockwell and Rhyno escalates into Deadly Games with several question marks surrounding Team Rockwell.
my pick: Team Rockwell in some form
3. The Four Elements vs. the MDC/FBI:
This one is going to be interesting to see how the Chris Benoit lead Elements fair versus Ted Dibiase's unit, especially with the elimination style rules in effect.
my pick: MDC/FBI team in some form
4. Intercontinental title/ steel cage match: Chris Tirpak vs. Charlie Haas:
This one may be the show stealer of the evening when Tirpak faces Haas, question is, can one of the most improved wrestlers on PrimeTime stay on the roll he is on or will the cornerstone of the MDC knock him off?
my pick: Charlie Haas
Random Thoughts.....
1. Stone Cold returns to the ring at Deadly Games for one night only, question is this.... can Stone Cold's injury plagued body still go with the type of opponents he'll be facing?
2. The dividing of RAW: I think this is something that may happen if Triple H isn't removed as enforcer of RAW, then again, will that do anything afterwards?
3. division vs. division at WrestleMania 5: This happening may prove to make this WrestleMania better than the ones that proceeded it, being that it would be the first time since the roster split that all the TWF will possibly face each other.
IS IT ME......
1. Is it me, or do Jordan Rockwell and Randy Orton not seem to like each other?
2. Is it me, or does anyone else wanna crack Triple H several times?
3. Is it me, or can you also not wait till WrestleMania 5?
4. Is it me, or does Shane Thompson look like he's not old enough to drive or shave?
In the end: In the end, I wish you all happy holidays to all of you and yours on these up and coming holidays!
