Diano's 2 Cents: Vol. 12

April 9, 2004

It's time once again for everyone's favorite column.................... mine! And this time around we are gonna look at the blockbuster trade that has occurred in the TWF. So enough talking let's get the show underway.

Part 1

1. Jon Heidenreich goes to PrimeTime for Carney

Advantage: RAW because Carney is an established veteran and a great lightheavyweight while Heidenreich has limited wrestling ability and is about as entertaining as a trip to the dentist or watching paint dry.

2. Mark Jindrak goes to RAW for Bradshaw

Advantage: PrimeTime because Jindrak is one of the most talented young preformers in the business and Bradshaw is mainly a tag team wrestler that has had limited, if any success as a singles wrestler.

3. Rene Dupree goes to PrimeTime for Jamal and Rosey

Advantage: PrimeTime due to the simple fact that Rene Dupree is literally one of the best young talents in the business in his early twenties while Jamal and Rosey seem to get lost in the shuffle that is the TWF. Despite their size, the reasons are simply that while they have tons of charisma and strength, that is about all they have.

4. Nails goes to PrimeTime for Chris Benoit

Advantage: Tie due to the fact that PrimeTime gains a legend in Nails who has been around the world and back again so he is going to be a great addition and influence on the young PrimeTime locker room, while in Benoit, RAW is getting the greatest wrestler in the history of the game and the diffrence maker the Crippler crossface so this is an even and benifical deal for both shows.

In a nutshell this deal as a whole is in favor of PrimeTime with the exception of the last half of the trade due to the fact that Shane McMahon has gotten several great young talents along with getting a legend with the loss of Carney being the only draw back and getting rid of some dead weight.

Is it me

1. Is it me, or did everyone see Nails going to PrimeTime the minute the Hardcore title was mentioned?

2. Is it me, or does Jon Heidenreich look like he was in special ed as a youngster in school?

3. Is it me, or is Mark Jindrak a perfect fit with PrimeTime?

4. And is it me, or does a Frenchman being traded for a Canadian seem like something you'd only see in the NHL?

In the end

This time in the end, I wanna send a special shout out to my buddy Pyro just because I don' t want him to nag me anymore for not putting him in my column, so I hope this makes up for it..... ya whiner! Seriously though, big ups to Pyro and all mi familia here in the TWF.

Well that's all the time I have for this column so this is ya boy jd saying till next time.... enjoy the anticipation cause I'll be everything you thought I'd be........ and then some!!!!!
