REPORT FROM SEPTEMBER 30, 2001 With 4 weeks remaining until Doomsday, major storylines are starting to take shape. I am loving the whole Alliance-Revolution "war" angle and it figures to get even better on next weeks TV. I also believe that the Edge-Christian story has been well told and still has endless possibilities. I like what management did with all the extra talent on our roster by sending them down to SMW. This is the best of both worlds. One, it keeps those superstars active and technically under TWF contract while at the same time, it alleviates us of some roster space and now we have the oppurtunity to sign that one or two big name superstar(s) that will really make our talent pool complete. To touch base on the few injuries we have.... The Big Show and Ken Shamrock should both be back any time. Once a creative idea comes about for each, they'll be back in action. As for Eddie Guerrero, we don't expect him until about the time of Survivor Series. Bull Buchanan has a jammed thumb but it shouldn't keep him out of action. He may be sent down to SMW within the next few weeks. I'm sorry to see the Confederation go. I liked the way things were going with their group. But rules are rules and when you break them, consequences are in order. What is the problem between The Rock and Travis Wakeman anyway? I can also see good fueds developing with Extreme Japan 2000. I love the chemistry those 4 guys have and each of them possess their own superb abilities. They are a great fit on our roster. I'm very happy to see the exposure the lightheavyweight division is getting. We gotta stick with that. I'd also like to see Mike "The Texan" Smith get more of an oppurtunity. I see so much potential in him. Will Strife ever lose the Hardcore title? For any autograph seekers, Lita and Jordan Rockwell will be on hand outside Bensonhurst, N.Y. on Wednesday to sign autographs with all proceeds going to the disaster relief fund of the WTC attack. I had mixed feelings about seeing WCW2 go. They were great to fued with and of course, the personal friendship with their owner will not end. Hope to see them back someday. But on a related note, I'm glad to see that we found to other organizations to compare our ratings with. This will show our viewers how we stack up against the competition. I thought, given the circumstances, that Welcome to our Yard really delivered in a big way and I expect Doomsday to do the same. There are talks of bringing a few WCW2 stars to the TWF, but contract buyouts are not practical in some cases. Have a good week watching TWF TV and how many of you agree that Barry Bonds is gonna hit 75+? It'll be interesting to see!
