THE A-LIST

March 16, 2005

Its time for another Edition of the A-List! This time we're going to do things a little differently tough. Instead of Reviewing 4 guys I am only going to Review 3. I am doing this because I had a chance to interview Jordan Rockwell and I am going to put that in the column. So lets get the show on the Road and we will start on the Rampage side.

John Cena- Rampage

John Cena right now is simply amazing. I mean he wins the Royal Rumble in January, starts a feud with Pyromania and beats him. The only thing he lost is Stacy. She decided to go with Pyromania. The only thing left for Cena to do is decide weather or not to fight for the belt on Primetime or Rampage. I personally was split when thinking about which show Cena would decide but the more Blood talks to Cena about how he should leave, the more I think Cena will stay. So I am saying at Wrestlemania 6, we're going to See Drew Blood Vs. John Cena and Blood has been on a role lately and maybe the only person that can beat him is Cena. Maybe that's why he wants Cena to leave so bad. As for John's Grade I will give him an A for now. He has been great up till this point but lets see if he can finish the deal and Win at Wrestlemania 6.

Randy Orton- PrimeTime

Randy Orton in my mind is the best Athlete on Primetime. Maybe he's not the best wrestler, that in my mind goes to Rockwell and he is not the champ like Thompson but he is the best athlete. He is deserving of a title shot, he should have a title shot. As of right now though ,it is going to be Shane Thompson Vs. Dylan Jansens which is a great match no doubt about it, and I think its about time Jansens gets a rematch. I just think Randy Orton should somehow be involved, I mean he did win the number 1 contenders match against Charlie Haas who in my mind is overrated. At Wrestlemania 6 I don't know where I see Randy Orton to be honest with you. Maybe he will be in another number 1 contenders match, but maybe this one will count. I guess we will see at Wrestlemania 6. His grade is a B+ right now, he is making a stride at being one of the best on Primetime.

"The Show" Joe Corey- Rampage

There's not a whole lot of wrestlers hotter than Joe Corey right now. It seems like no matter how he does it he wins every single match. He did so at Code Red in one hell of a match with Taylor Made. I thought Taylor was actually going to pull it out but he did come up short in the end in one great match. Corey is definitely one of the top stars on Rampage and I see him only getting better. As for his match at mania I think we are going to see the Taylor Made and Corey feud continue and I hope so because this is becoming one great feud and if they fight at Mania, what a match that would be. Corey's grade is going to be an A, I almost gave him and A+, but I try to reserve those only for the World Champ and sometimes they don't get A+.

Sean O'Haire- PrimeTime

I'll be the first to admit I don't like O'haire. The whole Original New Breed is not on my good side. O'haire does seem to get the job done though. I do have to take away some points though because he has had some help from his buddies Oliver and Heidenreich. I think he would do fine on his own but we may never know. As for Mania, well that's pretty obvious considering his match was already announced. The rights to the New Breed is going to be one heck of a match and we will get Rockwell's thoughts later in the column. As for his grade he is going to get a B he is IC, I know but has had some help so that's his grade and I'M sticking to it.

Taylor Made- Rampage

Last Time Taylor was on my A-List, I came down on him pretty hard for under achieving. Well, talk about a turn of events. I mean, he was so close to doing something very few can do and that's beat Joe Corey. I was shocked, I mean this guy is doing so great now. Dare I say he may emerge as one of the top stars on Rampage? Maybe I'M getting ahead of myself, but I see bright things in his future. As for mania, well if you read earlier you would know that I think him and Corey are going to meet at mania and put on one heck of a match. As for his grade, I am going to give him a B simply because he lost the match against Corey. Other than that this guy has been great.

Shane Thompson- PrimeTime

He is at the top in his division on Primetime. He is the man that everyone is trying to take out. He has the belt that very few have held. I'M talking about Shane Thompson, the Universal Champion. Shane Thompson is on a role. It seems like whenever Lita knocked him off the Cell, he has gotten better! People thought his career was over but in the end, it may have been the best thing for him. Right now I don't see anyboday stopping him but maybe at Mania Jansens will. As for the future, well I just said it, it was announced Jansens will take on Thompson which will be a very good match (Even though Orton should be in it). As for Thompson's grade, I'M going to have to give him an A+ Simply because he cant do any better and there is no better grade.

RECAP

John Cena- A

Randy Orton- B+

"The Show" Joe Corey- A

Sean O'Haire- B

Taylor Made- B

Shane Thompson- A+

Our Honor Role student this time is Shane Thompson. This is usually the part of the column where I end but like I promised here is the interview with Jordan Rockwell.

Andy- What are your feelings toward Sean O'Haire?

Jordan Rockwell- My feelings on Sean O'haire?, I don't think I can say that on a website that little children read. Seriously though, as I have said in the past, we ran together for two years as part of the original and following versions of the New Breed and we hung out with each other outside of the ring as well. So we were friends and as close as any family members could be but he chose to associate with people I wanted nothing to do with behind the scenes, the same people that held us back and ultimately he decided to turn on me for those very same people I disliked if not hated. And I am the type of person that has little if any forgiveness towards betrayal. So for me O'haire is no better than anyone of those guys that he chose over me and our friendship.

Andy- What about Heidenreich & Oliver?

Jordan Rockwell- Heidenreich for me is a total joke cause he thinks he's a tough guy cause he can bully around people smaller and weaker than him and as I told Shane McMahon a while back, he made a mistake when he gave up a world class athlete like Chris Benoit as part of that trade cause PrimeTime got the short end of that part of it. As far as Jason Oliver, I gotta say this kid has got skill. I've seen him take some serious shots from me and others and he took it and came back with his own, so I see him making an impact on PrimeTime and in the TWF in general but his only drawback is that he thinks Sean O'haire cares about him or his career and he is wrong. But Oliver is stubborn so he's gonna have to see that for himself.

Andy- You have a huge match at Mania, what are your thoughts on that?

Jordan Rockwell- Wrestlemania is the biggest event ever, it is bigger than anything in any sport and that is a fact. This will be the biggest match I have had in a while since I, along with my partners are putting everything on the line in one match. So I think it's the first time ever I am nervous going into a match since it could be my fault that my teammates lose everything they have worked for the past few months.

Andy- Is the New Breed going to be going on for a while in your mind?

Jordan Rockwell- The New Breed is not a group! For me the New Breed is what you get when you got a talented performer that gets held down or what you get when you got a rookie that wants to be something in the business, in a nutshell it's heart, will, determination and outright belief, the belief in yourself and your ability. So to answer the question, yes, I think it will be around for an extremely long time as long as one of those people I described exits then so will the New Breed.

Andy- What does the Future hold for Jordan Rockwell?

Jordan Rockwell- I think the future holds a lot for me especially with the whole draft lottery after Wrestlemania, the possibilities are endless. So for me the future holds a longer career with all the benefits from it and above all else the future holds the opportunity for me to show everyone that I am the best or dare say.... greatest ever.

Well as you can see Jordan is ready for Mania. Thanks again for reading my column, I hope from here on out I will have more to come.
