It's time once again for everyone's favorite column.................. mine! So kids put the parents to bed cause it's showtime!
As always segment one is a look at the shows so let's begin.....
Primetime
1. The New Road Warriors: Legit tag team or watered down? This is the question I have because of two reasons. Number one it appears to me that Heidenreich has helped to rejuvenate the career of Road Warrior Animal and likewise Animal has made a great impression and impact on the career of Heidenreich. But on the other hand, Heidenreich is not Hawk and I know he is not trying to be nor does anyone expect him to be but the use of the Road Warrior name to me has less meaning without the original members.
2. Rockwell/Thompson: The term all or nothing comes to mind when it comes to these two gentlemen. Fact is, at Eruption it will be exactly that cause one of them will leave with it all, the other with nothing.
3. La Familia: For real as it gets when it comes to Chavo's new group since they have put together a list of some major wins that does include the likes of Rob Van Dam and Paul London just for starters.
Rampage
1. Corey/Horsemen: This situation here kind of reminds me of the Shaq with the Lakers deal and we all know how that worked out. Only question I have is who would be who when it comes to Corey and The Horsemen? I guess time will tell.
2. Drew the dominant: Ever since he returned to the TWF, Drew Blood has once again shown that he is the number one heel in the business and still the most dominant so is it me or is it gonna take a real bad S.O.B. to beat him?
3. Ain't no stoppin' Mr. Benjamin: This in my opinion is a one million percent fact that there is indeed no stopping Shelton Benjamin. This guy can do things in the ring like no one else can do, he is seemingly having the King of Cable title drawn to him and or that the title was in fact made for him.
SlaughterHouse:
1. Nemesis: This guy is finally starting to get what he deserves over on this show. He won his first major title and has become a player again.
2. X-division is X-plosive: The highlight of SlaughterHouse continues to be the X-division with new additions and returns that have just made it better.
3. Teddy Long: Even though he is only the acting general manager and has only been there for a short time, Teddy has done a good job so far. And even though he has walked into the middle of several things, he has managed things well.
TWF impact stars for the month:
1. Rampage's Shelton Benjamin and Drew Blood
2. PrimeTime's La Familia
3. SlaugtherHouse's Nemesis
Sound off:
Who made the bigger mistake, Joe Corey for joining the Horsemen or the Horsemen for turning on Corey?
1. "Corey for joining the horseman becasue his career was taking off and joining the Horsemen held him back for awhile"...... Axl Irvin
2. "The Horsemen for turning on me, because they went from having me as an ally to having me now have one goal, to make sure the Horsemen are battered, beaten, and bloody"..... Joe Corey.
3. "Joe corey is a mistake plain and simple, he shouldnt even be wrestling"....... Jason Oliver
TWF Exclusive: Chaos Wolf- Post betrayal
Joe Diano: "First of all Chaos let me thank you for sitting down with me for this TWF exclusive".
Chaos Wolf: "The honor is mine I guess".
Diano: "Okay so we'll get right into this. We all saw on PrimeTime where you turned on your long time friend and partner Vlad the Impaler. So I guess the first question is why"?
Wolf: "It was time to finally cut my ties with the New Breed. It only seemed fitting to start with the man who could have been considered my brother".
Diano: "Speaking of which, it seemed that while Dylan Jansens tried to play peacemaker between the two of you, Jordan Rockwell on the other hand chose to stay out of it. What were your thoughts on these two men who in essence took you in when you debuted and secondly on their differing actions"?
Wolf: "With Rockwell I think it would be plain as day. The man's mind is on keeping his titles and making his legacy known while the New Breed was only around to watch his back. Jansens has always tried to keep things peaceful but he should have realized that I wouldn't change my mind what with the shadowed past Vlad and I have. When Rockwell and Jansens took me in, I thought it would be a good learning experience and it was until once again they went and focused on themselves. At that point the New Breed became nothing more then a way for me to win matches".
Diano: "Since you mention focus, one thing I heard several times was the fact the Rockwell and Jansens took a lot more interest in the devleopment of your career then Vlad did after a while. Was this something that you yourself noticed"?
Wolf: "Of course I noticed. Vlad knew what I could do and that I could develop my career with ease but Rockwell and Jansens had never seen what the man who single handedly drove Vlad's, at the time Chris Tirpak's, own company into the ground".
Diano: "At what point did you decide that what you did was the course of action you were going to take"?
wolf: "Knowing that as long as Rockwell held the Hardcore title and especially after MeltDown when Rockwell won the Universal title. As long as those belts were in the New Breed, no one else in the group would be allowed to get a shot at them, which of course was a decision by Rockwell".
Diano: "Now we all know that at Eruption, yourself along with Vlad have signed to face off in a stretcher match which is one of the most brutal matches in wrestling history. Firstly, any worry on your part going into this coming off of injury following your shoulder surgery"?
Wolf: "I know for a fact that Vlad will go after my shoulder and yes there is the possiblity of it being reinjuried but I'm a fast healer and Vlad knows first hand how dangerous that can be for him".
Diano: "Now for a brief moment, let's put your bad feeling aside, you yourself have said Vlad was like family to you so any discomfort knowing what the two of you will have to do to each other to win this match"?
Wolf: "No because while this is our first stretcher match here in the TWF we have had others in the past. So it's safe to say that we won't give a damn if we injure each other".
Diano: "Let's go back to to a couple weeks ago on PrimeTime. You just got off an impressive win then the next thing we see Chae, the woman you brought into the company on the arm of Vlad your. What were you thinking"?
Wolf: "In all honestity at first I was heartbroken but once I thought about it I realized just what a no good piece of garbage Chae really is".
Diano: "Okay my last question regardless of whether you win or lose at Eruption, what's next for Chaos Wolf on PrimeTime"?
Wolf: "Hopefully Rockwell will stop dodging me and give me the Hardcore title shot that I deserve. My career will continue to grow and I'll make sure evryone that has crossed me will pay".
Diano: "Okay well once again Chaos I want to thank you for this exculsive".
Wolf: "No problem".
That's all the time for this column kiddies so till next time this is your boy jd saying this has been my 2 cents, and you can enjoy it with much anticipation cause I will be all you dreamed I'd be...... AND THEN SOME!!!!!
