Oliver (Alex), Axl (Andy), Rockwell (Diano) and I did this and I (Max) just finished putting it all together, hope you like it.
Max Ogden: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the TWF Countdown. I'm your favorite analyst, Max Ogden, along here with Joe Diano, Andy Kindlon and Alex "Mad Man" Maider.
Alex Maider: This is the newest column in the TWF, but it also should be the best. And now, it's time to tell you what exactly it is that we're doing...
Max Ogden: This is the TWF's version of the NFL Countdown. Now, in case all of you have been under a rock the past... Oh, god knows how long... And don't know what the NFL Countdown is, basically, they take all the match ups, they analize and pick the winners for them... Get it? And that's exactly what us 4 are here to do. Analize and give our picks for all of the great TWF Matches.
Joe Diano: And now it's time to get started...
Alex Maider: Here are the... Primetime Picks...
Bobby Lashley versus Johnny Swinger:
Andy Kindlon: Lashley, because he is on a roll right now and Swinger should be no problem.
Joe Diano: No explanation needed here, Lashley!
Alex Maider: You can't say anything but amazing for Lashley. I think this is either going to be a DQ finish, or the Lash kills Swinger, both wins for Lashley.
Max Ogden: Ehh, screw it. I'm with you guys, Lashley... No need to explain.
Chavo Guerrero versus Rob Conway:
Andy Kindlon: Chavo... He is still riding the emotion of losing Eddie and I think he will perform at his best and win.
Joe Diano: I'm with you Andy. With the passing of his uncle, I think Chavo has a new sense of purpose in his life and career while Conway is coming off of losing the Million Dollar Title. I doubt he wants to let Dibiase down again, but my pick is Chavo.
Alex Maider: This is a good matchup. I think with the emotion Chavo has from Eddie's passing he will have one of the best matches of his life.
Max Ogden: Yeah, for once I gotta agree with you. Eddie passing on was an emotional thing for all across the world, but none as emotional as it was for Chavo Guerrero. Eddie was like a brother to him, and Chavo will win this match purely off emotion. Hell of a competitor, but purely off emotion for Chavo.
Psychosis versus Tanaka:
Alex Maider: Some great cruiserweight action that could go either way. Thanks to the cheating of the men involved and their factions, I am going to go with Tanaka just cause he's Tag Team Champion, something that some people never accomplish in their life.
Andy Kindlon: Tanaka, because I just have a feeling but I think both tag teams will be involved.
Joe Diano: Both of these guys have made tremendous turnaround's since they came to Primetime with their partners, but in this I think Psycho wants and more importantly needs this win to get in line for a title shot for his team. So I have to go with Psychosis to win in this one.
Max Ogden: I honestly think that this is the sleeper match this week. Tanaka wins it and proves why he is one half of the Tag Team Champions, 'nuff said!
Axl Irvin versus Randy Orton:
Joe Diano: This one is kinda tough to call since both are great young talents but also I think both need a win here and while I am a huge Axl fan, I think Orton is one RKO away from wearing the Universal Title, so Orton is my pick.
Alex Maider: Best match of the week I'd say, you have Orton's pure athletic ability matched with Axl's. In each way I think this match is going to be a doozy, but I think Axl is a little bit stronger and will pick up the match.
Max Ogden: Yeah, the Primetime week! It should be good, and you can pick Axl... But I'm goin' with Randy... He's my boy, and plus... Who doesn't love the RKO?
Andy Kindlon: I think this will be Axl's win because Orton will get DQ'd.
Vlad the Impaler versus Dylan Jansens:>{? Andy Kindlon: No Contest, Wolf will get involved and all hell will break loose.
Joe Diano: The Impaler has been on a role as of late, while I think Dylan Jansens has been in relative obscurity also. But, I must go with Vlad to continue his role.
Alex Maider: This is a must win for DJ to prove hes still got it going in for the Universal Title. Vlad's momentum may just carry him through the match and with no Chaos Wolf, I give the match to Vlad.
Max Ogden: You go ahead and do that. I say that Vlad the Impaler had too much taken out of him in the Iron Circle Match, and as great as he is, DJ is too good and he will pick up the win! Next match please.
Boogeyman's Primetime Debut:
Joe Diano: Boogeyman... Uhh, nah! I ain't even gonna try!>{? Max Ogden: Who cares?! My team beat him at Survivor Series, and all he is to me... Is a mix between Goldust and Chris Benoit... In looks that is, the only thing different is, well... Benoit has skills, and Goldust likes to touch himself in public... Next match!
Alex Maider: Crap, that's exactly what he... IT is... And that's all it is.
Andy Kindlon: No comment.
Max Ogden: What don't you guys get about next match?
Shane Thompson Vs. Chris Platoon
Joe Diano: Coming off a clowning around period the past few weeks, and Platoon's good showing at the pay per view I think this is a match Platoon needs... Win or lose this will make him, but Thompson has established himself and quite frankly does need to start showing or get going, so in the end Thompson wins.
Andy Kindlon: Shane Thompson because his road to the Universal title is coming since Rockwell no longer holds it.
Alex Maider: If Platoon can get the win here I'll be very, very surprised. Shane better win this as it is against a rookie whose biggest win is against Hassan ohh woopie! My pick: Shane Thompson
Max Ogden: Heh, that was pretty funny, keep it up and I won't have to knock all your teeth out. Well, like this doofus over here, I agree. Chris Platoon is a pretty good superstar, I'll hand it to him, while I was down in SMW, I thought he might win Rookie of the Year... But now that I'm up here, that's changed. Shane Thompson, I've gotta hand it to the guy, a hell of a competitor... I kinda want to kick his ass for giving away the Hardcore Title, but a good competitor none the less... And now for...
RAMPAGE TIME!
Max Ogden: The first match, Jason Oliver and Carney versus Shelton Benjamin and Marty Jannetty. I'd say that The Horseman have got this one on lock down, Carney wants revenge on Jannetty, and Oliver's already pinned Benjamin once... And not only will this match be won, but Jason Oliver will take Shelton Benjamin's King of Cable Title... Mark my words!
Joe Diano: In this one I will have to go with the Horsemen for the simple reason that they will cheat. We all know it so why bother betting against them.
Alex Maider: I say we will witness a win for the Horsemen for 2 simple reasons. Marty Janetty can't handle Oliver's size as proven when the Rockers couldn't take the Titles away from the Hart Foundation way back when. And on top of that, Oliver holds a pinfall victory over Benjamin.
Andy Kindlon: Oliver and Carney, even though Benjamin had a huge King of the Ring, Oliver and Carney work well as a team.
Max Ogden: That was a nice pick... I'll act like I care what you say. Now, for Snitsky versus Justin Sane. I think it's pretty obvious to all of us who is going to win. Snitsky made a huge impact at King of the Ring, and this week on Rampage... Snitsky will become 2-0 after his match up versus Justin Sane.
Joe Diano: While in the business size does not matter all the time, I think in this case it does when Snitsky faces Justin Sane so i have to go with Snitsky.>{? Andy Kindlon: Snitsky, because I think Ogden will be involved somehow.
Max Ogden: Hey, hey! Watch yourself there big guy.
Alex Maider: This one is gonna be a squash! Snitsky all the way.
Max Ogden: Wow... You made it short and sweet, I like it!
Alex Maider: Want a cookie?
Max Ogden: Talk to me like that again, see what happens... But, next match! Paul Birchill versus Mackenzie Rose.
Max Ogden: A match of the big men! Mackenzie Rose is 6'4 and 271 pounds, while Paul Birchall is 6'4 281 pounds.
Alex Maider: That's not THAT big, Max...
Max Ogden: What are you saying? That I'm short... Never mind, don't answer that. Anyways, I have to say it should be a pretty cool match. But in the end, I think it'll be Paul Birchill making Mackenzie Rose tap like a little bitch. Pardon my French, I just happen to be Canadian.
Andy Kindlon: Rose, because he is on his way up and Burchill will just be another step.
Joe Diano: Both of these men are coming off of losing matches so they will both be hungry for a win, but in the end I say Rose to pick up the win here.
Alex Maider: One of the best matches on Rampage, I'm calling it. Mackenzie Rose or "Big Mack" as I like to call him, might be in a little hot water as Paul Birchill is no laughing matter, but as I agree a strong offense is a good defense and I say Big Mack comes out with the win here.
Viscera vs. Johnny Blaze:
Alex Maider: Big Vis is a slow moving boulder, and I think he's got no chance against the faster moving Johnny Blaze. Blaze also has Hollywood Heat and the sexy Melina to back him up, so I say Blaze wins.
Andy Kindlon: Viscera, Because he is gigantic.
Max Ogden: Isn't that a creative answer? Hmm, Viscera vs Johnny Blaze... Johnny Blaze! My boy! Yeah, I've got the connections. Okay I'm done. Well, I say Blaze for a few reasons. 1. Joey Mercury... 2. Melina Perez... And 3, I highly doubt that Derek Darko is done with this guy and I have a feeling we could be seeing him get involved.
Joe Diano: Big Vis against one half of Hollywood Heat. Truth be told I don't really care who wins this one since they both got a lot to prove. But since I need to pick, I'll go with Big Vis.
Cade and Murdoch vs. Jamal and Rosey: Andy Kindlon: Cade and Murdoch, that count out win momentum will ride through Rampage.
Joe Diano: While the challengers, I am sure, are riding high after winning at King of the Ring by count out, I say they gotta wake up into the reality and realize that the win wasn't much to be proud of when the belts are on the line. My pick in this is one, the Champions Jamal and Rosey retain the Titles.
Max Ogden: Well, this SHOULD be my Title Shot... But I'll talk on it anyways. Jamal and Rosey versus Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch... Now, Cade and Murdoch were stupid enough to not break up the count out... And won but did not win the titles at King of the Ring. This week, I think it will be different... In what way? In the way that Cade and Murdoch will lose to Rosey and Jamal and hopefully it will be over so I can move in at the top.
Alex Maider: Jamal and Rosey keep doing the impossible as Cade and Murdoch... Well, I say they win the titles as soon as Rockwell and Blood get married.
Max Ogden: Heh, that was funny... You musta been thinking that up all week, haven't you?
Alex Maider: Just for you Max.
Max Ogden: Aww, thanks... You're a real doll!
Alex Maider: Hart Familly vs John Cena and Rey Mysterio: I say Hart Familly in this one. Both Cena and Rey want to get back at Ogden for beating them and going on to win the King of the Ring trophy, but the momentum Ogden has right now is amazing.
Andy Kindlon: Cena and Mysterio because he needs to avenge his loss at King of the Ring.
Joe Diano: This is the one I want to see cause now John Cena and Rey Mysterio know what they are getting into and that's why they are my picks to win.
Max Ogden: Ahh, the Main Event... My match! The Hart Family versus John Cena and Rey Mysterio. Me and Sylvain have definately got our work cut out for us... But, I'll make my picks right down the middle. Rey Mysterio... In Round One of the King of the Ring, I beat him using the Megaphone, not that I needed it, but he's mad. And then there is Mr. Cena. I beat this guy at King of the Ring, and now he's coming back for more... Give me a break! You two are gonna get what you deserve... The ass kicking of a life time!
Alex Maider: Well, thanks for joining us... And until next time, I'm Alex Maider...
Max Ogden: And I'm "The Memory Maker" Max Ogden... And you've just seen the TWF Countdown!
Off air...
