Random thoughts from the desk of a major TWF fan and insider.
Injuries: Hardcore Holly is resting at home in Mobile, Alabama and has told TWF officals that he will as always make his rehab work for him and will return to the TWF a lot sooner then reported but will do it the smart way.
WAR IN THE WINTER: With War in the Winter right around the corner, I think Shawn Michaels is in a must win situation against Drew Blood to show he still has it and hasn't lost anything. Chris Benoit is truely one of the greatest and if Gundam takes him lightly he's gonna regret that as for Strife vs. Bahamut, it was a shame they parted ways, but, this is a must win for both to show they can still dominate in singles wrestling like they both once did. In the main event, Shane McMahon may be in trouble due to the fact that "Stonecold" Steve Austin and Jordan Rockwell don't like each other very much and they are two of five men Shane has trusted his future in the TWF to. So the advantage in this has to go to team Wakeman since it's name sake has men around him he can trust.
mfw news: Recently the mfw signed long time veteran Bill Demott. This is a smart move by mfw figure heads Jesse Steele and Alexandra Caine simply because Demott is a hard worker and a dedicated preformer who has battled numerous injuries to be part of the wrestling business. While the company has had some internal problems it looks to be back on the right track with several new show bookings and wrestler scoutings and signings, but according to cheif of operations Jesse Steele, they aren't in a position of comfort yet.
Jesse Steele: " We've had a bunch of problems and we've only been open a few weeks so it's understandable. We've made some moves to correct the problems and are feeling good with them. But, Alex and I know as well as the locker room all know that we can't stop there, we have to get better every single time before we'll be comfortable and content."
SMW news: Following the losses of a few wrestlers and trainer Bobby Eaton, SMW officals added new member Breakdown as well as Steve Bradley and new trainer Dean Malenko. The SMW as a whole has really done well under it's new management and veteran Al Snow. It has really become the stomping ground for some great young talent and a rebirth point to a lot of men that would have other wise fell into the sea of obscurity, with the biggest applause going to Christopher Daniels aka the Fallen Angel who has been reborn in SMW as well as long time ring preformer Rip Rogers who adds a major dose of humor.
TWF awards picks:
1. Comeback of the year: Mr. Perfect is my pick since he has basically been reborn here in the TWF following a long absence. He has proven he still has it with all of his accoplishments so far.
2. Lightheavyweight of the year: Tie! High Octane or Dylan Jansens: Octane is the most improved wrestler in the TWF hands down and in a short period of time, Jansens has made a serious impact. Either man deserves it and both would be perfect choices for the award.
3. Women's wrestler of the year: Akasha is the winner hands down she has done everything she's ever wanted to or said she would and has proven she's the real deal no doubt.
4. Match of the year: TWF title/triple threat match simply because each man in it had something to prove which makes for a great match.
5.Fued of the year: Drew Blood/HBK simply because this will help resurge the career of HBK and push Drew further into stardom.
6. Storyline of the year: The roster split because it impacted the TWF when it happened and it still does after it did.
7. Tag team of the year: Bahamut and Strife are the sentimental favorites in this catagory for several reasons and simply cause they acheived greatness together which no one thought they would.
8. Rookie of the year: in this one, the one who deserves to win is Dylan Jansens since he's done a lot in a short time, but isn't listed!
9. Moment of the year: Hogan returns in the red and yellow is the winner because Hogan is Hogan period.
10. Wrestler of the year : Jordan Rockwell is the most successfull young athlete in the TWF history. He shouldn't be denied this award with all that he's accomplished in such a short period of time.
