2 A-Lists in less than a month. It's a miracle, oh well let's get right into it. If you haven't figured it out by now this is how it works. I will evaluate 4 Matches at Foul Play, talk about what the future has in store for all the parties involved, give a quick recap, then give you some random PT, Rampage and maybe sports thoughts, then an interview with a member of TWF. Its go time!
Making the Grade
Steel Cage
Bahamut Vs. Randy Orton
This match was extremely important I think for both men. More for Bahamut though. Orton proved he could beat him, he did it twice in a row and was going for three. This time however it was in a cage so you expected it to be a good one and it was. Bahamut lost however with one of the more spectacular moves you will ever see. An RKO off the turnbuckle, a move that would put almost anybody in the TWF out. Bahamut really needed to win this one for some dignity. As for the future of these two guys Bahamut needs to bounce back. Get some more wins under his belt. Maybe form a new tag team on PT or something, or possilby go for an IC title fight. Orton is going to keep winning. He is destined to be a contender for the Universal title. It's only a matter of time in my mind. So at the next PPV that includes Primetime Stars I am predicting Randy Orton Vs. Batista- Universal title Match. As for a match grade, It was a pretty good one with a spectacular ending so it gets a solid B.
TWF Intercontinental Championship
Ken Kennedy Vs. Heidenreich
To be honest with you going into this match I had the champ at a disadvantage. I thought Kennedy would be walking out of Foul play the champ, but was I wrong. At first I thought Heidenriech caught lightning in a bottle when he beat O'Haire but he is proving week after week that he can be the real thing. So kudos to you Heidenreich for winning, and for you Kennedy, I guess it's becoming a theme for people in Green Bay to lose, but that will all change next season and you know this man! As for the future, Kennedy just needs to bounce back and get back to the title hunt maybe something with Platoon or Chavo. As for Heidenriech, I think it's pretty clear where his thing is going, and that's Mordecai, so expect a feud that will probably reach its climax at TWF Main Event or possibly even the next Primetime PPV. As for the match, I guess it was ok, not great though so I'll give it a C rating.
TWF Tag Team Championship
Axl Irvin & Ric Flair Vs. The Orient Express w/Sonny Onoo
This match was 2 proven single wrestlers vs. 1 Proven Tag team, and the team came out on top. Going into it I thought it was going to be Onoo who would be the difference maker. Well he tried to be, but failed as it turned out to be someone who wasn't even supposed to be there, Traci Brooks. Flair did talk Axl to not bringing out Traci, but that did not stop her from coming out. She did try to help however but Flair didn't want her help. Bad move by him in my mind, who knows if she did get to help they may be tag champs at this time. As for the Future of the Orient Express they will defend their titles against the up and coming Vlad and Saint. This is my opinion and for Axl, Flair and Traci wellIi guess this soap opera is going to continue on. The match was ok and I'll give it a B-
TWF Universal Championship
Edge Vs. Batista
When Batista defeated Edge at Wrestlemania you pretty much knew that there was going to be a rematch in the near future. It just so happened to be at Foul Play. I predicted that Foul Play would have the same result as Wrestlemania and in fact that is exactly what happened. Batista walked away still champ and Edge walked away empty handed. As for the future of these 2 stars, like I said earlier I am thinking Batista is going to start something with Orton, and which I may add I have been waiting for for a long time. Edge on the other hand is tough, he obviously has to start winning some macthes before he gets to the main event level, and what a way to do it then beat an up and comer like Bobby Lashley. The match grade is an A-, this was way better then the Mania Match in my mind, and has the potential for match of the month quality.
Recap
Bahamut Vs. Randy Orton: B
Ken Kennedy Vs. Heidenreich: C
Axl Irvin & Ric Flair Vs. The Orient Express w/Sonny Onoo: B-

So far the best in my mind goes to................Edge Vs. Batista
