It's time once again for everyone's favorite column................................ mine! So children, put your parents to bed because the following content is not suitable for them or anyone that might find it offensive.
In this month's edition, I will look into the recent multi-person trade that took place between the three brands. Let's get started, shall we?
RAMPAGE
1. Batista: Probably the biggest gain for Rampage's locker room is the animal who had most of his success on PrimeTime.
2. Taylor Made: Now while I do not get this guy or what other than a wrestler he is supposed to be, my sources tell me that he looks to rejuvinate himself with his return to Rampage.
3. Trinity: One of the most talented women in wrestling in my opinion moves from SlaughterHouse to Rampage to liven up that women's division.
4. Ken Kennedy: This guy here is in my opinion just as important for Rampage as Batista is since he has a world of talent in the ring and on the mic.
PRIMETIME
1. John Cena: The big addition to Shane O'Mac's locker room and I think this is rather unique since Cena was traded from PrimeTime to Rampage on November 11, 2002 where he spent four years.
2. Johnny Nitro: While I have not been a fan of this guy at all even dating to his time in SlaughterHouse, the TWF powers that be see something in him although I bet they do not even know what that is. I think after losing his meal ticket and turning on his partner, Mr. Nitro needs to prove he belongs.
3. Carney: The deal I know everyone knew would happen and probably prayed would with Carney finally returning where he truly belongs.
4. Finlay: The tough Irishman who loves to fight in my opinion will not have any trouble finding one on PrimeTime.
SLAUGHTERHOUSE
1. Rob Conway: A great tag team wrestler that I feel got lost in the shuffle when he broke off his partnership with Nick Dinsmore and was left out in the cold by the Million Dollar Man so now we will see if he can be the ironman he used to be.
2. Victoria: One the the toughest women in wrestling and one of the more improved should be an interesting addition considering the past she has with PrimeTime's Jordan Rockwell and that his wife Lita is on the same show with her now.
3. Christian: The major addition to the show is the former two time Universal champion and Intercontinental champion. Question is, will he be right at home with so many familar faces or out of place?
Now let's get some TWF superstars' takes on things:
Jason Oliver on Batista: "Well he's a great competitor, he's gonna make an impact that's for sure and I wonder how long till Mike's big mouth gets him Batista Bombed. I also wonder how Wakes is going to take this considering that the man has taken the IC title and the chance to ever win the Universal title again from him".
Jordan Rockwell on John Cena: "Cena began his career here on PrimeTime but spent the last what four years on Rampage and had great success don't get me wrong, but fact is this is a whole new PrimeTime and while John is a great entertainer and a person that has all the tools and above all else is loved by the people, I think he will see that things are not going to be the same for him again since as I said this is not the PrimeTime he left when he got traded away back in 2002"
Jesse Steele: "First off, let me say Trinity is one of my favorite people in the business because of her athletic ability and she is a fellow New Yorker and she has a lot of friends that will miss her in our locker room. Now while I feel bad she has to have that jackass Lawler calling her matches, I wish her well but with the additions we were given in the trade, we will continue to move on into making this revolution continue".
Writers note: Since Mr. Oliver mentioned it, I took the time to catch up with Travis Wakeman recently to get his thoughts on the addition of Batista to Rampage.
Joe Diano: "I am standing here with Travis Wakeman. Now I know you have a lot of things going on right now so I will just get right to the point. The fans of the TWF and I are sure everyone on every roster wants to know what your feelings are on the recent trade that brought Batista to Rampage, and secondly my question is do you foresee this as a problem considering what this man did to you during your stay on PrimeTime"?
Travis Wakeman: "I'm not worrying about Batista, he and I are different people now and we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. Right now, my focus is on Tatanka and the rest of the Million Dollar Corporation".
In The End
1. In the end, I wish everyone luck on their respective new shows.
2. In the end, I know that there are two things every one of you, my loyal readers, are waiting for and that is the first incident between Wakeman and Batista and secondly the one between John Cena and Randy Orton.
3. In the end, while I wish them success, I hope several of these men and women do not end up failing on their new show.
And finally, in the end, while I do not doubt Travis Wakeman's word on this Batista thing, I do question how long before something goes down and secondly how much forgiveness Mr. Wakeman truely has for the guy that took everything from him and above all else, damn near ruined his career.
Well that's all the time I have for this column so until next time this is your boy JD saying.... eh you know the rest!
