We've Got Some Evil Intentions!
Well if you don't know by now we here at the Cash Flow get right to the heart of the matter, and not all that other stuff in between. Hey is that a kidney! Anyway, lame jokes aside we've got alot to get to on this edition, including my in depth look at the annual event that is Evil Intentions! First however, as all of you know the TWF draft once again was held and there were some MAJOR roster changes, so let's get into that. We'll also have a sit down interview with current reigning ECW World Champion Joe "The Show" Corey!
This year all three brands were looking for some more talent to help max out their rosters, and it has to be said, that Primetime looks to have come out with the best deal. Not to say that Rampage and Slaughterhouse didn't get their quirks. Let's take a look.
Primetime gets "Extreme"?
Now everyone had been all ears since Foul Play earlier this month, when Shane McMahon earned the right to get the first pick in the 2007 TWF draft. What made it even better, is the fact that he was able to choose anyone he wanted! He did just that, and on the following Primetime, it was revealed that Joe "The Show" Corey, ECW Champion, was Shane's pick. Corey wasted no time in asserting his presence and declaring that ECW would now be felt across both Rampage and Primetime. We will have to see how this unfolds, and you have to believe that he has the ability to make good on that promise.
High Octane Addition
Underdog... Heart...Drive, are all words that could easily describe "High Octane" Damion West, but one thing is for sure, he's damn entertaining. Primetime struck gold again with the pick up of this three time TWF Heavyweight Champion, and West seemed more than content with the fact that he is going to be in a new surrounding. He issued a warning to the entire Primetime roster, that a Head On Collision is not too far off. The man with the ambition, passion, and intensity all combined in one explosive package is sure to make waves, just in a different environment.
Rampage Gets Rabid
Now like I mentioned earlier, Rampage wasn't without a big time addition, as Chris Benoit was a huge addition to their locker room. This man is not only considered one of the greatest technical wrestlers in the world today, but he gives back to the younger stars, and it is well documented that Benoit is all for the improvement of the sport. It will no doubt be a welcome addition to the roster, as The Rabid Wolverine is one of the most respected of all time. He already made his presence felt in his first Rampage match, as he picked up the victory in six man tag team action. Rampage take notice!
Who Else Made A Move?>{? Slaughterhouse picked up some more talent that is sure to aid them in their quest to become an even more viable brother to Rampage and Primetime. Muhammad Hassan's troubles have continued, as he lost his "assistants" Psychosis and Mackenzie Rose. Not to mention the fact that Slaughterhouse also gained one of the biggest (literally) TWF superstars to date in Viscera! In addition to Benoit, Rampage came up with both The Boogeyman and Snitsky who are sure to make impacts on the show, and they both made their first appearances as well. Primetime finished off their picks by maybe coming away with a steal by picking up Paul Burchill. It'll be interesting to see how these stars do in their new homes!
Peter Cash: "Well as promised, I have here with me the ECW Champion and newest acquisition to Primetime, Joe "The Show" Corey! First let me just take the time to thank you for the time".
Joe Corey: "You should be thanking me. This better not be a waste of time for me".
PC: "Oh no, we don't waste time in this column. Now your success on Rampage is well documented, from being the longest reigning King of Cable Champion, to being the leader of the new ECW and the Reigning ECW Champion. Do you think you will be able to top that on Primetime"?
JC: "Well, some would say it is impossible to have more success than I already have, but those people are idiots. There is a whole new division of people for me to beat. However, I have already beat three of the people's heroes on Primetime, so I can only add to what I have already done. The only thing I can add would be to unify the ECW and Universal Championships".
PC: "So much success so early on in your career, what was it like knowing you had what it took"?
JC: "It made me realize that I can be the best this business has ever seen. Look at what I have already done, and I'm not even in my prime yet".
PC: "Now there is no doubt you walked right into Primetime with an agenda last week, and you promised that ECW would be felt across both Rampage and Primetime. How is it possible to keep the group functioning with it stretched across two brands"?
JC: "If I were to have told anyone six months ago that J.J. Ramplin and Sylvester Terkay would both be dominating Rampage, I would have been committed. Those two men have what it takes to keep ECW at the top of Rampage. And with Elijah Burke at the helm, there won't be any problems. As for Primetime, Paul and I are already looking at who is ECW material, and you can rest assured that when we are done, Primetime won't know what hit it".
PC: "Now with a new brand brings new competition, what goes through your head at the thought of facing the likes of Jordan Rockwell, Axl Irvin, Randy Orton, Edge, and even a possible rematch with Shawn Michaels"?
JC: "I look forward to stepping into the ring with Axl, Edge, and Randy Orton, be it as partners or opponents. As for Rockwell, Michaels, and John Cena, I have already defeated the three of them, so they will do nothing for my career".
PC: "Another thing I always ask my guests, what match sticks out in your mind as one that absolutely defines Joe Corey"?
JC: "This past Wrestlemania against Nemesis. No one has dominated a match at Wrestlemania like that before".
PC: Okay, to add on to matches, what would be Joe Corey's Dream Match"?
JC: "I would love to face Triple H or Ric Flair. I hope that now that I am on Primetime, I can hook up with the "Nature Boy".
PC:" Alright time for a little word association, ya ready champ"?
JC: "Shoot".
PC: ECW
JC: Greatness
PC: Travis Wakeman
JC: Best Technical Wrestler on Rampage
PC: The Horsemen
JC: Great while it lasted
PC: Money Mike
JC: Next TWF World Champion
PC: Jason Oliver
JC: Next
PC: J.J Ramplin
JC: The Future
PC: Jordan Rockwell
JC: Former Franchise
PC: "Alright well, I always make it a point to give my guests the last word. So, Show, is there anything you would like to say to the Primetime roster, Rampage roster, the fans or to the TWF in general"?
JC: "Those of you that saw what I did on Rampage over the last four years know what Primetime is in store for. With ECW taking over the TWF, there is nothing we won't do. So sit back, relax, and watch what happens when "The Show" takes Primetime to the next level".
PC: "Thank you very much ECW World Champion Joe Corey, I appreciate your time".
JC: "I'd like to say it was a pleasure, but I can't".
Never short of words is Joe Corey, but now the time has come for my Evil Intentions Predictions!
This has definitely shaped up to be an event that no TWF fan will want to miss out on, so let's get
this thing going.
Rampage Tag Team Championship Match
The Canadian-Italian Exchange vs. The Worlds Greatest Tag Team (C)>{?
These two teams will come to a collision course at Evil Intentions, with one thing on the line and
that is to become the Tag Team Champions of Rampage. The roads these two teams have taken have been
vastly different, with the WGTT beating all comers and proving their worth as awesome Tag Team
Champions. Equally impressive though has been the tandem of Aldo Corleone and Rob Storm. In just a
short time in the TWF, Aldo looks to capture TWF gold, and with a partner like Rob Storm, I'd say they
have the ability to get it done. Aldo has been a one man wrecking crew as of late, dispatching of six
or seven superstars in the Tag Team Battle Royale, and he is seemingly unstoppable to this point. Will
the athleticism of Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas overcome the brute strength and technique of
Aldo and Storm?
Prediction: The Canadian-Italian Exchange Will Become the new Rampage Tag Team Champions
Even though the WGTT got the win in the six man tag team match last Rampage, Aldo has been a force
to be reckoned with, and Storm being the ring leader just makes them all the more dangerous, so I say
they take the tag straps here.
Hardcore Six Pack Challenge To Determine # One Contender For King Of Cable Championship
Jason Oliver vs. Mr. Kennedy vs. Nemesis vs. Carlito vs. Matt Cruz vs. Tatanka
This one will be summed up in one word, unpredictable. In an atmosphere like this, one of violence
and elimination, any one can rise to the occasion and take that next step to getting a match for the
K.O.C Title. Mr. Kennedy brought this all upon us by bringing in a kendo stick on last week's edition
of Rampage and cleaning house with it. Oliver seemingly had that six man tag team match one, when his
own partner Nemesis pulled him off the pin attempt on Carlito. It has escalated from there and now
any one of these men could be getting a title shot, the question is however, who will it be?
Prediction: Jason Oliver to become number one contender for the K.O.C Championship
Oliver had it within his grasp last Rampage, and I think he'll come out with a vengeance here. It
won't be easy though, outlasting five other men in a hardcore environment.
Love Her Or Leave Her Match
Taylor Made vs. Money Mike w/Stephanie McMahon
*If Taylor wins Stephanie spends the next 90 days with him.
*If Mike wins, Taylor can not come within 100 feet of Stephanie.
So much riding on this one for both men, but what seems like a mismatch on paper, may not really be
so much of one after all. I mean, Taylor Made is out to take Stephanie from Mike it seems. And it
really looks as if that is what she wants, as hard to believe as it may seem. But my logic is in the
fact that I think Taylor's heart and drive to win this match may push him over the edge and make him
dig deeper down than he ever has... but it won't be enough. Mike is too damn good to lose this match
as much as I hate to admit it.
Prediction: Money Mike
After all the blood, sweat, and tears, dry in this one, Money Mike will be too much for Taylor Made
to handle and he'll get planted with the Money Pit.
Batista vs. Sylvester Terkay
It's the animal of the TWF, against ECW's animal of their own. This won't be your typical big man
match, oh no because as Joe Corey told us earlier, Terkay isn't your typical big man. Terkay can
be such an amazing athlete to watch and is a great mat wrestler, and his stature is quite intimidating
in itself. Batista is no slouch however and has the veteran experience over the Man Bear. He will
use his brute strength throughout the match no doubt, but I say once all the dust settles and the
smoke clears...
Prediction: Sylvester Terkay
I know I may seem a little out of it to pick the less experienced guy, but he has the tools to go
far and he'll prove it against Batista.
TWF King Of Cable Championship Match
William Regal vs. J.J "The Ram" Ramplin (C)
What a back story, mentor versus student, and it can't get much more personal than it has between
these two men over the past month. After WrestleMania, William Regal was simply congratulating
Ramplin on his championship victory, when Ramplin went off on not needing him anymore and shoving
right by him. After back and forth attacks by the two men to each other over the following weeks,
it has turned into a bitter feud that will culminate at Evil Intentions. Now I'm sure J.J. could
get some assistance from his ECW stablemates... but you know what he doesn't need them. He doesn't
need them to be successful and he doesn't need them to win this match. Which is exactly what he'll
do.
Prediction: J.J Ramplin retains the TWF K.O.C Championship
Don't be surprised if brass knuckles play some sort of role in the outcome though.
TWF World Championship Match
Chris "The Masterpiece" Masters w/Vince McMahon vs. Travis Wakeman (C) w/Melina
Wow... where did Chris Masters come from? He surprised everyone at WrestleMania by winning the
Wrestlemania Jackpot and now he's cashing it in at an opportunistic time. You have to have the thought
in the back of your mind that after months of brutal title defenses and beating the odds time after
time, Travis Wakeman has to feel his tank emptying out. Chris Masters has shown he can be a serious
big time player if he plays his cards right, and he even has the Boss on his side. Will Wakeman be
able to dodge yet another bullet?
Prediction: Travis Wakeman retains the TWF World Championship
The answer to that is a unanimous yes, and young Chris Masters won't be the one to stop the roll
Wakeman is on.
Well as always, the pleasure was all yours and this is the greatest column of all time known only
as The Cash Flow. Remember I'm the host with the most Peter Cash and we will be back soon, because
the Flow never goes away. And that's a rap, until next time!
