Welcome to the fourth edition of the hottest column in the TWF and also the TWF's original developement column " X Marks his Spot". By now you know the routine, we will start with the review, hit on some breaking developement news, stop for a quick top 10 and end the column with an interview. So let's go to the review.
The Review
Last month we started out with an Aslyum taping from the Asylum Haven arena in Miami, Florida which was focused mostly on the two biggest rivalries of Vendatta James Diamond vs. Jimmy Justice and Sebastian X vs. Richard Ramsley or Mr. Norton vs. the Cult, we heard all sides of the story from Ramsley and Diamond to Justice and Sebastian. Both sides sounded confident going into the tag team match in the main event but before we got to that, we witnessed Toxic Troy's statement to everyone. After The Miz debuted and was granted a hardcore title shot, Troy took matters into his own hands and attacked Miz, then interfered in the match between the Gatekeeper and CJ Lethal, costing The Gatekeeper the match and in the process, he was removed from his dark match at Vendetta and instead placed in a match with the Gatekeeper for the hardcore title. The Great Khali took on Rex Redford but the match did not last as it was interuppted by interference. Shane Bentley had a very brief match against Hassad which only lasted a few seconds after Sweet Shane Music. In the main event, Sebastian X would go on to pin James Diamond after some outside help but nevertheless, Mr. Norton had the last laugh of the night. On to Vendetta, which was live and only on pay per view from Trenton, New Jersey's Sovereign Bank Arena. Before the show took place, we learned that Austin Aimes and Carl James, the holders of the SMW tag titles were stripped of the titles for personal reasons and there would be a triple threat tag match to decide who the new champions would be. After a couple dark matches, the show got started with a 6 man middleweight championship battle royal, what we know so far is that at least 2 new champions will be crowned. The winner of the rumble was Buff Stevewill and he was crowned the new middleweight champion once again. Then we finally witnessed Bone Collector with Jeremy Dart taking on Rex Redford. That match ended in a win for Bone Collector after plenty assistance from Dart. Gatekeeper was succesful in his title defense against Toxic Troy in a great performance by the two. Richard Ramsley pulled out a victory over Sebastian X to everyone's surprise, and in the main event, Khali regained the Asylum heavyweight championship after turning on Mr. Norton but it wasnt long before Generation X had made their way to the ring to try and take Khali down. They had little effect until Sebastian X came down to the ring with a steel chair and after 3 shots to Khali, the big man was down and Richard Ramsley and Lethal came to Khali's aid.
The next Asylum Pay Per View is The King of the Mat. The tournament bracket follows......

An Asylum house show took place showcasing many rematches from the Vendetta ppv. Next up was the most recent Asylum taping which opened up with a tag team match with the vacant tag team titles on the line. The Demon teamed with Dylan Lee to take on Generation X. Demon and Lee were victorious after interferece from Ramsley and Khali. Ramsley continued his win streak when he picked up a victory over Sgt. Corral in a quick match. Blaze is the new # 1 contender for the middleweight title after his win over former TWF star Bill Cutting. Sebastian and Troy battled to advance in the King of the Mat tournament. The match was won by Troy after Sebastian slipped up and lost the match. Rex Redford defeated Jeremy Dart after some interference from both sides. In the main event, James Diamond defeated The Gatekeeper after The Gatekeeper had the advantage on his side and he was allowed to wrestle the match as a no disqualification match and Diamond was restricted from doing so.

X's Interviews
Sebastian: Okay it is that time of the column now, so please welcome my guest, The longest reigning Asylum Hardcore champion Richard "Dick" Ramsley.
Richard Ramsley: It's good to be here.
Sebastian: Without any further delay, let's get to the first question. What has the Cult of XXXTC done for your career?
Ramsley: Well, when I first joined the TWF, I was this raw, uncut diamond. I had all the potential in the world, but I wasn't doing anything with it. Now the Cult was the craftsman. The Cult took me in, refined me, focused me, and turned me into the "Diamond" you see before you. *Laughs briefly* You know, thanks to them, I can accomplish anything I want here in the TWF.
Sebastian: Okay next question, what do you consider your personal best moment on The Asylum?
Ramsley: Best moment? Hmm, that's a tough one...... I think I'm going to have to go with..... my match with Sebastian X at Adrenaline. That match forced me to bring forth my best, and Sebastian and I put on a great match. What really makes it my best moment, though, is the fact that I believe that match proved to all the doubters that I can be a Main Eventer.
Sebastian: Maybe your right, you did beat the best. Besides that moment, what do you hope to accomplish in your career?
Ramsley: Oh, you know, the usual. Ten or twenty championships, a couple of "Superstar of the Year" awards. *Laughs* In all seriousness, my main goal in my TWF career is to be considered one of the best. Maybe not one of the all-time greats, even though it would be nice, but rather as one of the best of my generation.
Sebastian: How do you feel over your recent victories over Sebastian X?
Ramsley: Ah, I knew this was coming. I feel great. You know, I don't think it's a big secret that I don't like Sebastian. I don't like people who think that they can tell people that something they do is wrong, and that only their way is right. But..... I will admit that I respect him. I mean, what can I say, he's a great wrestler. He brought out my best, and because of that, I feel that I'm one of the premiere wrestlers of the Asylum.
Sebastian: Speaking of great wrestlers, what do you think about Sebastian's recent call up?
Ramsley: Ah, well, I guess on some base level, I wish him luck. A lot of people seem to think that I'm bitter about it because I beat him, and yet he's the one getting the call up. I'm not. Personally, I hope that Sebastian tears up Rampage. See, then I can say that I beat Rampage's finest. *Laughs*
Sebastian: Did you make any mistakes early in your career that you regret or wish you could take back?
Ramsley: Yeah. I wasted a lot of precious time. I could have been showing my dominance in the ring, you know? I could have started off strong. But instead, all I did was talk a lot of trash, and I rarely ever backed it up. Thankfully, I got over all that.
Sebastian: Okay, let's go to some word association. You know the rules.
Sebastian: Asylum
Ramsley: My stage
Sebastian: King of the mat
Ramsley: My next big success

Well that wraps up another column for us, I would like to encourage all developmental talent to be as involved as possible so do what you can to help with the development of your character. I would like to thank my guest for this column, Asylum star Richard Ramsley and I hope everyone in the TWF had a happy holiday season and until next time... All Fear the burning hammer!
