Welcome to X Marks His Spot where we look over the past month in the development territory of the TWF's Asylum, so we will start with a review, go to the news, top 10 and once again we will wrap up with an interview from a top star. So lets get to it.
The Review
- We will start with an Asylum house show on 1/12 from Miami, FL where Gatekeeper took on Khali in the main event with the heavyweight title on the line. The match was won by Gatekeeper due to disqualification after Toxic Troy got involved but it was Khali who left Miami, Florida with the heavyweight title. The next show was Havoc. The show kicked off with Mbota defeating The Miz in singles action then Chris Devue was the next man in the Dockland Destroyer's way of his reign of terror on the Asylum roster as Destroyer made quick work of Devue, proving to be very immpressive. Afa Anoia defeated Zack Garcia, Bill Cutting defeted Aries, the Tag titles changed hands as the Wakeman foundation regained the gold from The Demon and Dylan Lee. In the main event, J Rock and Crackbooger took on the Russians, Noose and Vladimir Kozlov. Rock and Crackbboger were victorious and this leads us to the most recent house show where Buff Stevewell kicked off the night with a win against The Miz. Jeremy Dart and the Bone Collector showed great interest in the Dockland Destroyer during his match with Ian powers which was won by the Destroyer. Next was a second round match in the King of the Mat tournament..... Blade advanced, leaving Hassad with a loss, Holden Powers also advanced in his match against Toxic Troy in which Gatekeeper played a role in the match as he provided a distraction to Troy. Generation X got a victory over the new tag champs the Wakeman Foundation, Richard Ramsley continued his amazing win streak and defeated Johnny Lang. Vladimir picked up a win against Crackbooger, Jeremy Dart advanced in the King of the Mat tournament with his upset over James Diamond thanks to interference from Jimmy Justice and Mr. Norton, Sgt. Corral and Bone Collector sent a message to Manchild and Rex Redford, and in the main event, CJ Lethal picked up a huge win over Shane Bentley after interference from a man rumored to be returning. The man was disguised and he speared Shane Bentley as the show went off air and the man turned out to be Chris Kaos. Then at 2007 King of The Mat, CJ Lethal was able to defeat Khali to become the new Heavyweight Champion. Jeremy Dart's career was ended after he lost to Rex Redford, Sgt. Corral finally got one over Manchild in their match at King of the Mat, Chris Kaos defeated Shane Bentley in a grudge match and this appears to be the last of Shane Bentley that we will see. The Gatekeeper succesfully defended his Hardcore title against the most recent call up, Toxic Troy. James Diamond regained the United States title after he defeated Jimmy Justice. In the semi-finals of the King of The Mat tournament, Blade defeated Holden Powers and Jeremy Dart eliminated Richard Ramsley, but after Dart lost the match in which his career was on the line, Richard Ramsley was put back in and given his second chance and he made the most of it as Richard Ramsley went on to defeat Blade and become The 2007 King of the Mat. Just another accomplishment as of late to add to Ramsley's list.

Interview
Sebastian: Please welcome my guest for an interview, a man who has been with the TWF for several years and has done just about everything possible to do in wrestling. He is currently one half of the TWF tag team champions along with Shawn Micheals, please welcome for an interview, Jordan Rockwell.
Jordan Rockwell: Thank you for having me.
Sebastian: What do you say we jump into the questions, my first question for you is, what do you think a developmental star should do to become a sucess in the TWF?
Rockwell: Well I think for one they should be patient and not be too gung ho with things and not be arrogant either cause I have seen both in my time and that has led to the downfall of a lot of careers.
Sebastian: This question is a little bit of what you got into in the last question, but I want to get more into this time so what do you think is a common mistake that alot of developmental wrestlers make?
Rockwell: Well I think it is the opposite of what just got done saying, and it is in two diffrent ways! The first are those guys that have success down in developmental and think when they get their call up they will win a few matches here or there and then they will win a title and ultimately when they are proven wrong, it is like failure is the safety pin to the balloon ego's, the second are those guys that get a big head at their success and want it all and do not want to wait till they earn it like a normal wrestler should. I mean I can tell you a million plus stories about both types of cases back in the day that are not here anymore cause of this.
Sebastian: In your opinion, who could be the next call up from The Asylum?
Rockwell: Well I think there are a lot of guys that Vince or the general manager's look at for different reasons, but for me, one guy I like is that James Diamond. I think he is a rare breed of talent, he is patient about things in every way and knows his time will come and when it does, the guy has the right stuff.
Sebastian: This next question is the opposite, who do you think is going to be a regular on Asylum until they change their ways?
Rockwell: Great, get me in trouble! Uh, I think anyone that falls into what I said before, those guys that have the ego that think they are the next big thing but have the hard time doing the basic stuff in the ring and well honestly are like watching paint dry outside of it and on the mic. Bottom line is, come April 24th I will have been in the TWF for seven years and I know what Vince looks for in talent and I also know what it is and isn't as far as toleration. If you can not do what is needed inside the ring or on the mic, or you create problems to disrupt the tightness backstage, then bet your bottom dollar you won't make it.
Sebastian: Okay, what do you think about the recent call up of Asylum star Toxic Troy?
Rockwell: No surprise, the kid had great teachers for one and secondly and most importantly, he is a sponge, he can learn and is willing to keep his mouth shut and sit back and watch, then he went and did cause for me if you are not willing to learn or think you have learned all you could, then you are making a mistake cause you have to evolve personally and professionally to become a star, and to get to and stay atop the business.
Sebastian: Okay let's do a little word association.
Rockwell: Okay.
Sebastian: Asylum
Rockwell: Doorway to the big time
Sebastian: competition
Rockwell: addiction
Sebastian: Dominance
Rockwell: The desire for everyone that gets into wrestling and hard work.

Rockwell: The people's knowledge into the future of this company.
Sebastian: Alright, well we are about to wrap this interview up but before this is over, is there anything you would like to say to the Asylum stars?
Rockwell: Well first off, I would share my motto that I live by with them and that is try and fail, do not fail for not tryin,g and also remember two words, hard work and patience and lastly, I will be waiting for you.
Sebastian: Alright well thats it, thank you for joining me here.
Rockwell: My pleasure.
Well there you have it, you have just heard the views of the of the 3 time TWF wrestler of the year Jordan Rockwell. That's it for this time, I will be back next month for another column, until then All Fear the Burning Hammer!
