Hello everyone and welcome to the first installment of the Fire Pit!
The TWF IS BACK! I must say that it was the most anticipated return to ever hit T.V. Although there were only five thousand in attendance, subscriptions to the TWF Network were over 50,000 in its first day available. Absolutely incredible. Today we are going to recap the return show of the TWF.
Jim Cornette announced as commissioner.
Jim Cornette hired being given the keys to run the show was the best decision the TWF could have made. Jim will bring a no nonsense approach to the company and has lots of experience not only running a promotion it his vast knowledge of the industry is invaluable. Great move for the company.
Joe Corey looking for clients to mold after himself.
One of the most decorated superstars in TWF is taking on a whole role this time around it seems as he claims he won't be full time wrestler but wants to essentially try to clone himself so his legacy lives on long after he's gone. Who will become his protege? Only time will tell and is one of the most interesting storylines to follow in the coming weeks.
Ramsley throws King of Cable title into the crowd.
Signaling the true end of an era. The only uncollected title of the old TWF was tossed into the crowd by Richard Ramsley. Claiming he is the TWF, what does Ramsley have in store now that he is back? When reporters caught up with him he declined to comment.
First stables seem to be forming
It looks as if people are already aligning and forming factions merely one show into the return. We didn't have to wait very long as Taylor Made, Sylvester Terkay and, Gina Carrano interupted Jim Cornette as he addressed the crowd in the openijng minutes of the show. After a brief run down of explaining themselves they proceeded to take front row seats roped off to create a sort of V.I.P section. Talk about cocky. In addition to them three we briefly saw what looks to be another faction going by the name The Empire consisting of Money Mike,Carney, Cris Henning and, Mystical. We could be looking at a very powerful alliance as they claim that in time they will be running the show.
Additional notes
The new owner of the TWF wishes to remain anonymous and rumours are running rampant as to who it could be. Big names are being thrown around like Hulk Hogan and Stone Cold Steve Austin to name a few. Even the employees that I've managed to speak with have no idea who the new owner of the company is. It was a great show to signify the return of the TWF and I along with many other wrestling fans are as excited as ever to see the TWF back in action and are looking forward to see where things are gonna go from here.
Thanks for being here, I hope y'all enjoyed the column!
