RAW DARK MATCHES Billy Gunn and Austin Pyromania had one heck of a battle and Pyromania seems to be developing well. But it was Gunn who hit the "Fame-Asser" after Chuck lowblowed Pyromania behind the referee's back to win it in 9:41 Scott Cross got his first TWF win by defeating Team Xtreme's Carney in a fast paced match in 4:01. After countering the "Carney Drop", Cross turned it into the "Fall from greatness" to win it. PrimeTime DARK MATCHES Spike Dudley gave Chris Michaels all he could handle but after tossing Spike across the ring on a "Dudley Dog" attempt, Michaels blasted him with the "Sudden Impact" superkick to win it in 6:12 D'Lo Brown and Yuji Matasamo matched up in a major contrast in styles. D'Lo took a martial arts punishment before ducking a spinning roundhouse and hitting the "Sky High" to win it in 6:28. After the match, Hayabusa tried to get involved but Dylan Jansens ran out and he and D'Lo cleared the ring. SNME GOES LIVE THE NBC PEACOCK LOGO IS SHOWN AS SATURDAY NIGHT's MAIN EVENT's THEME MUSIC LEADS INTO IT's MONTAGE. THE MELTDOWN LOGO APPREAS ON THE SCREEN. THE HEAT IS ON AND THE COUNTDOWN BEGINS TONIGHT! THE NOISY THOMAS & MACK CENTER COMES INTO VIEW AS THE CROWD OF NEARLY 14,000 TWF FANS ARE ON THEIR FEET AS FIREWORKS LACE THE ENTRYWAY ON THE SNME SET. Johnathan Coachman: "Hello everyone, glad you could join us for this pre-Meltdown Saturday Night's Main Event! I'm the Coach alongside Mike Norton for what should be a night of endless TWF action"! Mike Norton: "That's right Coach and as much as I hate sitting next to you, I wouldn't trade this job for one like it in any other wrestling company around! The TWF is number one and at Meltdown, we're gonna prove that"! Coachman: "But we've got a tremendous night of action in store tonight as the TWF Tag Team titles will be on the line when Wakeman Enterprises defends them against The Acolytes"! "ROCK HARD" BY JA RULE HITS AND THE CROWD GOES BONKERS AS THE BRAND NEW TWF INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION JORDAN ROCKWELL AND LITA COME OUT. Norton: "Oh great, I can't think of a worse way to start the show". Coachman: "It's Jordan Rockwell, fresh off that ladder match victory over "Stone Cold" Steve Austin on PrimeTime"! Norton: "Well he had a little help from the game and without it, I don't think he'd be standing in that ring with the title". Coachman: "Well that's debateable but you gotta keep in mind that Rockwell didn't ask for an assist from Triple H". Jordan Rockwell: "Ya know, becoming the TWF Intercontinental champion is a goal I've had since I came to this company and when I acheived it on PrimeTime, it should've been the happiest moment of my career. But it wasn't and it wasn't because of one man, Triple H". Coachman: "Oh boy". Rockwell: "Hunter, you think I needed you to help me beat Austin? I'm not like you, I don't wanna win matches that way. So tonight, if you and I cross pathes, better yet, what the hell, why don't you get your ass down to this ring right now". Norton: "Rockwell is calling out the game"! VAL VENIS' MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT TO A SHOWER OF BOOS WITH A MIC IN HAND. Coachman: "What the heck is Val Venis doing out here"? Val Venis: "Well, well, well, look who grew a set. Rockwell, just because you have that belt, doesn't mean you can come out here and call out the TWF champion. I should be out here accepting an award for what I did to Shawn Michaels on PrimeTime". Coachman: "Oh that's ridiculous". Venis: "Because these people want real..... Rockwell: "Whoaaaaaaaaaa, is your name Triple H? CROWD LAUGHS Oh no, that's right, your the guy who's ass I kicked at King of the Ring. But I'll tell ya what Val, if you wanna run your mouth, why don't you come run it in the ring"? Norton: "That sounds like a challenge"! VENIS THROWS THE MIC DOWN AND RUNS DOWN THE AISLE, SLIDING INTO THE RING. HE AND ROCKWELL EXCHANGE SHOTS WHEN TRIPLE H COMES THROUGH THE CROWD AND ATTACKS ROCKWELL FROM BEHIND. HE AND VAL BATTER HIM IN A 2 ON 1 SITUATION AND TRIPLE H SETS HIM UP FOR THE PEDIGREE WHEN "STONE COLD" STEVE AUSTIN COMES OUT AS THE CROWD GOES NUTS. HE CLOTHESLINES VENIS OUT OF THE RING AND THEN HITS TRIPLE H WITH A BARRAGE OF RIGHT HANDS, KNOCKING HIM TO THE FLOOR. TRIPLE H AND VENIS RETREAT AS ROCKWELL AND AUSTIN STARE ACROSS THE RING AT ONE ANOTHER. Coachman: "What a way to kick off Saturday Night's Main Event"! Norton: "What is Austin helping Rockwell out for"? PRIOR TO COMMERCIAL.... BACKSTAGE..... Hi, this is Mr. Perfect and I'm Christopher Nowinski, 5.25 gpa, captain of the Harvard football team. I also.... Akasha: "I get the point. Now drop the Harvard charm crap and make sure you occupy Sam Wilde tonight. I have a lesson to teach to Ms. Lopez". AKASHA WALKS OFF AS NOWINSKI AND PERFECT GIVE EACH OTHER A GRIN. COMMERCIAL..... RETURN FROM BREAK... RINGSIDE.... Coachman: "Welcome back to Saturday Night's Main Event folks and while you were away, Triple H and Val Venis came back to the ring and that's where they are now". Norton: "They're sabotaging the show Coach"! Triple H: "Austin, Rockwell, we are finished with you two tonight! We want a tag team match later tonight and we are leaving this ring until we get it"! "HERE COMES THE MONEY" HITS AS PRIMETIME OWNER SHANE McMAHON RECEIVES A GOOD RESPONSE. Shane McMahon: "Okay champ, so in order for these fans to receive the show they paid good money for, I'm supposed to give you your way"? Triple H: "Ya damn right"! Shane: "Okay Hunter, you got your match. However, I must inform you of one little thing. Ya see, there's been a slight change to the main event for Meltdown because now not only do you have to defend the TWF Title against "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, but you have to defend it against Jordan Rockwell as well in a triple threat match"! Norton: "No way, can he do that"?! Coachman: "PrimeTime has the main event for Meltdown so yeah, he can do that"! TRIPLE H IS ABSOLUTELY IRATE IN THE RING. Shane: "Good luck to ya Hunter, I think you're gonna need it". Coachman: "I can't believe this folks! Jordan Rockwell has been added to the main event at Meltdown"! Norton: "Triple H can't be happy but he's gotta remain focused". THE HARVARD FIGHT SONG HITS AS CHRISTOPHER NOWINSKI, MR. PERFECT AND AKASHA MAKE THEIR WAY TO THE RING. A MELTDOWN PROMO APPEARS FEATURING JESSICA LOPEZ ON ONE SIDE AND AKASHA ON THE OTHER. Coachman: "Well speaking of Meltdown, that woman Akasha is gonna defend the TWF Women's title against Jessica Lopez, a woman who holds a non title victory over her already. But you wanna talk about odd couples, what about this pairing of Akasha and Christopher Nowinski"? Norton: "Well it doesn't matter how they look together, it matters how they work together". CHURCH BELLS RING AND SAM WILDE's MUSIC HITS AS HE AND JESSICA LOPEZ COME OUT TO A GOOD POP. Coachman: "Sam Wilde has had a lot of problems of late with Nowinski and Perfect". Norton: "Well Perfect has been a great teacher for the young Nowinski and I think Sam Wilde's best bet would be to move on". Intergender Tag Match Christopher Nowinski & Akasha w/Mr. Perfect vs. Sam Wilde & Jessica Lopez Wilde and Nowinski started the match with a great series on the mat. Both showed a diverse amatuer background but it was the taller Nowinski who got the upper hand. He slapped on a hammerlock and then drove his knee repeatedly into Wilde's arm. That led to a backdrop suplex and Nowinski got a 2 count out of the cover. Nowinski whipped him in and went for a clothesline but Wilde ducked and hit a flying forearm as he came off the other side. Wilde tagged out as Nowinski scrambled to do the same. The women got into the match and the imposing Akasha took it straight to Lopez, bashing her with a series of forearm shivers before dropping her agressively across her knee with a backbreaker. After an elbow drop across the chest, Akasha made the cover but Lopez was up at 2. She then whipped Lopez to the corner and followed in but Lopez stuck her boot right in her chops. She then came off the middle turnbuckle with a flying clothesline. Both women made it to their corners and tagged in their male counterparts. Nowinski took a swing at Wilde but he blocked it and retaliated with several right hands that backed the Harvard grad up. After a kick to the gut, Wilde hit a perfect ddt. He went for the cover but Akasha came in and broke up the count. Lopez jumped in and all 4 competitors went at it. As Lopez bounced off the ropes, Perfect jumped on the apron and yanked her to the mat by her hair. Referee Charles Robinson thought he saw Perfect do something and went over and got in his face. Meanwhile, Akasha backdropped Lopez to the floor. Wilde came over but Akasha lowblowed him and Nowinksi hit the "Honor Roll" to get the pin. Match Time: 10:37 Coachman: "And with an undetected low blow, Nowinski and Akasha have won this thing". Norton: "That was great teamwork"! JUST THEN, PERFECT AND NOWINSKI GET IN AND START AN ASSAULT ON WILDE AGAIN WHEN NEMESIS STORMS THE RING AS THE CROWD COMES OUT OF THEIR SEATS. NEMESIS HITS NOWINSKI WITH A BIG BOOT TO THE FACE AND THEN POWERBOMBS PERFECT. NEMESIS HELPS WILDE TO HIS FEET AND WHEN THEY TURN AROUND, AKASKA IS STANDING THERE. NEMESIS GRABS HER BY THE THROAT AND CHOKESLAMS HER HARD TO THE MAT! Coachman: "Oh my god! Nemesis has lost it! But he seems to have realized that Sam Wilde was right all along"! Norton: "Good lord, just because your woman leaves you for something better, doesn't mean you need to resort to physical violence against the other women"! Coachman: "You better watch it or he'll resort to physical violence against you"! BACKSTAGE REY MYSTERIO IS HEADING TO THE RING FOR HIS MATCH WHEN HE RUNS INTO AUSTIN PYROMANIA. Austin Pyromania: "Hey Rey". Rey Mysterio: "Hey man, what's up"? Pyromania: "Good luck in your match tonight man". Mysterio: "Thanks. Hey listen, I've got my eye on you. Keep it up, you're on the right path". THE TWO KNOCK FISTS AND MYSTERIO WALKS TO THE RING.Rey Mysterio vs. The Great Muta Muta slowed down Mysterio's offense by battering him with several kicks to the kidneys. Muta was in control most of the way and got 4 near falls after high impact moves but he could not keep Mysterio down. Muta whipped him into the ropes but Mysterio caught him with a wheelbarrow facebuster to get back in it. He then hit the 6-1-9 as Muta hung his head over the middle rope. But rather then going for the cover, Mysterio went for the "West Coast Pop" but Muta caught him on his shoulders and spit the vaunted green mist in his face. Although wearing his mask, it still got through as Mysterio grabbed his eyes. Muta then took him down with a modified powerbomb and got the 3 count. Match Time: 5:26 Norton: "Muta got the win with the mist! To this day, that's still one of my favorite things to see"! Coachman: "What I wanna know is how referee Chad Patton didn't see any of that. Wait a minute, look at the TWF Tron". MUTA LOOKED UP AT THE TWF TRON WHICH AGAIN DISPLAYED THE NEW JAPAN PRO WRESTLING LOGO BUT ALSO A TIME CLOCK WHICH WAS COUNTING DOWN THE HOURS, MINUTES AND SECONDS TO MELTDOWN. Norton: "What the... Coachman: "We've seen this more than a couple times now folks and one can only wonder what it all means". PRIOR TO COMMERCIAL.... BACKSTAGE.... HOWEVER, THERE ARE SEVERAL ITEMS OF SAMOAN CLOTHING AROUND THE ROOM WHICH WAKEMAN AND LESNAR RIP TO SHREDS. Coachman: "Oh boy, they're gonna pay for that". Norton: "And Rosie and Jamal are up next"! COMMERCIAL..... RETURN FROM BREAK.... RINGSIDE.... "THE KINGS" BY RUN DMC HITS AS SEAN O'HAIRE AND ALBERT COME OUT TO A GOOD POP. Coachman: "We're back on Saturday Night folks and it's time for a big tag team match because the winner here Norton gets a tag team title shot at Meltdown". THE ISLAND BOYZ' MUSIC HITS AND THEY COME OUT TO A GOOD POP AS WELL. Norton: "Well I was told that Jamal and Rosie just learned of what Wakeman Enterprises did. Is that gonna drive them to a victory or be just what Albert and O'haire need to gain an advantage"? Coachman: "Well you know Jamal and Rosie are on a collision course with Brock Lesnar and Travis Wakeman but first they have to get past one of the most consistent teams in the PrimeTime division". #1 Contenders for the Tag team titles Sean O'haire and Albert vs. The Island Boyz Jamal and Rosie had a fire lit in them, seemingly due to what Wakeman Enterprises did in their dressing room and they were dominant against the overmatched New Breed members. They isolated O'haire in the ring for the better part of the match and both used their big weight advantage to slow O'haire down. But O'haire finally caught Rosie with a backhand chop and then a jumping sidekick. He crawled to his corner but Jamal got into the ring and distracted referee Mike Chioda as O'haire made the tag. Chioda turned around and forced Albert out of the ring cause he didn't see the exchange. Albert had seen enough and came in, dropping Rosie with his jumping scissor kick. But Jamal came in and hit Albert with a barrage of right hands. Rosie then got up and he and Jamal double superkicked Albert all the way to the floor. O'haire came from behind and tried to take Jamal's head off with a jumping hook kick but Jamal ducked, picked O'haire up on his shoulders and dropped him with a spinning death valley driver. Seconds later, Rosie came soaring off the top rope with his "Air Samoa" splash, engulfing O'haire to get the 3 count. Match Time: 6:26 Norton: "Oh my god I think O'haire is dead"! Coachman: "Well I don't think it's that severe but what I do know is that Jamal and Rosie are going to Meltdown and if Wakeman and Lesnar can defeat The Acolytes tonight, these two bad boys await"! Norton: "Meltdown is starting to take shape as a tremendous event Coach"! Coachman: "And speaking of Meltdown..... PROMO IS SHOWN FEATURING MR. PERFECT AND CHRISTOPHER NOWINSKI ON ONE SIDE AND NEMESIS AND SAM WILDE ON THE OTHER. Just added to the card minutes ago, Mr. Perfect and his protege' if you will Christopher Nowinski will face Sam Wilde and Nemesis, a couple of guys who can make an excellent team". Norton: "Well my money's on the Perfect team. They're terrific together". THE NWO THEME HITS AND THEY COME OUT IN FULL FORCE TO A MIXED REACTION BUT THE BOOS SEEM TO STAND OUT MORE. Norton: "Yes!!!!!!!!!!" Coachman: "For some reason I don't share your feelings". Norton: "Here comes the greatest group ever assembled and don't worry about flipping the channel like you do when you watch the GWF folks, this is the real NWO"! Nails: "Ya know Vlad the Impaler, you make it seem like you're the baddest man in the TWF. Well watch what I do to Jeff Hardy here in a few minutes and take a look at what you have to look forward to at Meltdown. But right now, I wanna talk to my long time enemy Nemesis. Nemesis, you are the biggest pile of crap in the TWF. Not only can you not compete with most of the guys in this company, but you can't even keep your woman in line". THE CAMERA SHOWS A SMIRKING FRANCINE AS NAILS GIVES THE MIC TO SCOTT HALL. Scott Hall: "Hey yo. (crowd says it with him) Enough about Nemesis, I wanna talk about Meltdown and this make your choice battle royale that Vince has put me into. Have you heard about it Kev"? Kevin Nash: "Yeah, I sure did". Coachman: "Scott Hall is referring to the RAW battle royale which will take place at Meltdown. PrimeTime will have one two. It will be an 8 man over the top rope battle royale and the winner gets an interesting choice Norton". Norton: "Yeah, he can either jump to the other division or choose someone from the other division to join his show! It's a great idea"! Hall: "So when I win, I'm gonna hand pick the next member of the NWO right off the PrimeTime roster"! X-Pac: "You got that right"! Kevin Nash: (Fans cheer as he grabs the mic) "Alright guys, Scott, I'd love to see you win that battle royale. However that won't be my cheif concern at Meltdown. Oh no, see, I've had a little thorn in my side lately by the name of Rob Van Dam. If RVD, had the balls, he'd come out and accept a match against me at Meltdown, one on one. But since..... "ONE OF A KIND" HITS AS ROB VAN DAM COMES OUT TO ONE OF THE BIGGEST POPS OF THE NIGHT. Coachman: "Ask and you shall receive"! Rob Van Dam: "Hey Nash, you want a match with me at Meltdown? Hey that's cool, all ya had to do was ask. But hey check this out, I got a match idea of my own". Nash: "And that would be"? Van Dam: "Well let's say me and Sabu in a tag team match against you and Chico over there, tonight"! FANS CHEER. Coachman: "I think the crowd wants to see it"! Nash: "Listen you son.... Hall: "Hey, don't sing it, bring it! You're on man"! "ONE OF A KIND" HITS AGAIN. Coachman: "The NWO has accepted"! Norton: "And we've got Kevin Nash versus Rob Van Dam added to Meltdown"! COMMERCIAL.... RETURN FROM BREAK.... BACKSTAGE.... MEAN GENE OKERLUND STANDS WITH JOHN CENA. Mean Gene: "Welcome back folks as at this time I am with a relative newcomer to the TWF, John Cena. Now John, last week we saw you take Travis Wakeman to the limit. How do you feel about that"? John Cena: "Well Gene, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed. I mean, I'm the rookie, I'm supposed to lose. But I don't look at it that way. I had him beat". Mean Gene: "Well maybe someday, you'll get another crack at him. But as we just heard, RAW and PrimeTime will both hold a battle royale and you will partake in the PrimeTime division's version. What will be your decision if you win"? Cena: "Well, I don't know for sure right now but I can tell you that I love the PrimeTime division and it'd be tough for me to leave it". Mean Gene: "Okay there you have it folks. Back to you and your pal Mike Norton Coach". Coachman: "Gee thanks Gene. But now folks, we are ready for a hardcore rules match between Jeff Hardy and Nails". Hardcore Rules Nails vs. Jeff Hardy Jeff came out with a head of steam, taking it to Nails and knocking him to the floor with a dropkick. He then hit him with a reverse flying helo. But Nails recovered and whipped Jeff hard right into the steel steps. He then moved the timekeeper out of the way, picked up his chair and wrapped it around Jeff's head. Minutes later, Nails stuffed a trash can over Jeff's head and pulled out the vaunted fire poker. He whacked the trash can with it, knocking Jeff down with a thud. After that, he delivered the "Nail Gun" to get the pin. Match Time: 5:13 Coachman: "Nails looks ready for his showdown at Meltdown with Vlad the Impaler as we find out who truly is the toughest man in the TWF". Norton: "Wait, there's Vlad now"! VLAD THE IMPALER RUNS DOWN THE RAMP AND SLIDES INTO THE RING. NAILS THROWS A CLOTHESLINE AT HIM BUT VLAD DUCKS AND THEN UNLOADS ON NAILS. HE THEN POURS OUT A BAG OF NAILS INTO THE RING AND SETS NAILS UP FOR "LIGHTS OUT" BUT NAILS SLIPPED AWAY AND THE 2 JUST STARED AT EACH OTHER AS NAILS BACKED UP THE RAMPWAY. Norton: "My god is Vlad crazy"? Coachman: "Well at Meltdown, we're gonna find out just how crazy he is in that bed of nails match for the Toughman title! And speaking of Meltdown, check this out"! MELTDOWN PROMO: HARD RAIN POURS AS A PICTURE OF THE UNDERTAKER IS SHOWN. Narrator: "The American Badass". A PICTURE OF BAHAMUT IS SHOWN. Narrator: "A legend in the making". TWO MEN WITH A HUGE SCORE TO SETTLE. WHO's THE BADDEST MAN ON RAW? FIND OUT AT MELTDOWN, ONLY ON PAY-PER-VIEW! TWF RE-WIND SHOWS EARLIER ALTERCATION BETWEEN ROB VAN DAM AND THE NWO IN WHICH A CHALLENGE WAS MADE. Rob Van Dam and Sabu vs. The Outsiders RVD and Kevin Nash previewed their match at the PPV as being a classic matchup of speed and agility vs. power and brute force with a great series to start the match. After baiting Nash into a test of strength, RVD kicked him in the thigh repeatedly before hitting a spin kick to the chin. RVD then backed Nash into the corner with a few shoulder thrusts but when he went for a backflip into a diving shoulder, Nash stuck a big knee in his head. Nash then crushed RVD in the corner with several hard elbows before tagging in Hall. Hall came in and tattooed RVD with his stinging right hands. He whipped him into the ropes but RVD went for a cross body block. Hall caught him in mid air and delivered the fallaway slam. Hall then set RVD up backwards on the turnbuckle and climbed up with him. But 3 straight elbows to the chops knocked Hall to the mat and when he got up RVD came off with a martial arts kick. That allowed him to make the tag to the man from Pompei, India and he came in and took it to Hall with a series of knifedge chops. After delivering an enziguri, Sabu was confronted by Nash. RVD got in and hit the Rolling Thunder on Hall but Nash took him by the back of the head and flung him out of the ring. Nash followed RVD out but as Hall got up, Sabu brought the crowd to their feet with "HOLY SHIT, HOLY SHIT"! chants when he hit a dragon-rana on Hall to get the pin and avenge his loss to him last week on RAW. Match Time: 7:41 Norton: "Oh come on ref! Was Sabu even the legal man"?! Coachman: "He sure was Norton and he and Hall will both be part of that crucial make your choice battle royale set for Meltdown for the RAW division but I have a feeling Nash vs. RVD could be a show stealer"! Norton: "Well RVD may be quick but when big sexy gets his hands on him, he'll wish he never stuck his nose in the NWO's business". COMMERCIAL..... RETURN FROM BREAK... AN ENGIVE LOUDLY REVS UP AND HIGH OCTANE's MUSIC HITS AS NIDIA LEADS HIM TO THE RING. Coachman: "We're back folks and it's time for a big tag team match. But as High Octane makes his way to the ring, let's kick it back to Mean Gene". BACKSTAGE MEAN GENE IS STANDING WITH THE UNDERTAKER. Mean Gene: "Okay Undertaker, your partner is on his way to the ring but as we learned earlier tonight, you and Bahamut will go one on one at Meltdown. What do you.... Undertaker: "Hold it right there Gene. Because the way you should've said that is Bahamut gets the huge privilage to be in the same ring, my yard, with the me. And yeah, he's a tough guy, but at Meltdown, that chain attack on RAW the other night is gonna look like child's play compared to what I do to him. Now if you excuse me, I got some ass to go kick". THE UNDERTAKER WALKS AWAY AND SOON HIS MUSIC HITS AS HE IS MET WITH A MIXED REACTION. ONE SIGN IN THE CROWD SAYS R.I.P. BAHAMUT. Norton: "Well I like how The Undertaker put that Coach, Bahamut gets the privilage to get in there with one of the best ever and I don't like his chances". "BOMBSHELL" BY POWERMAN 5000 HITS AS STRIFE AND BAHAMUT COME OUT TO A HUGE CHEER. Coachman: "Well here come the former TWF tag team champions and if you remember right Norton, I'm sure our fans do, Bahamut beat The Undertaker on, two, three when he was TWF champion. There's nothing that says he can't do it again"! Norton: "That's true he did but Undertaker redeemed himself a week later. Now remember, it was High Octane who made this challenge last week on RAW". Coachman: "Yeah and I think he had a lot to do with setting Bahamut up to get ambushed in the parking lot by The Undertaker. But tonight, he's in the land of the giants". The Undertaker & "High Octane" Damion West w/Nidia vs. Bahamut & Strife High Octane demanded that he start the match off against Bahamut and Bahamut took control right away. He slammed him to the mat from a collar and elbow tie up position and then caught him with a high elevation backdrop off an irish whip. But the agressive Bahamut stayed right on West who was giving up a lot in height and weight. After a stiff clothesline, Bahamut made the tag and Strife came in and caught him with a big boot off an irish whip. He then backed him to the corner and choked him with his big size 17 boot. After a hard elbow across the chest, Strife tagged out as he and Bahamut had cut the ring in half, preventing the deadman from getting involved. After a gutwrench into a powerbomb, Bahamut made the cover but Nidia came around and put High Octane's foot on the rope just before a 3 count. Bahamut tagged in Strife and began chasing Nidia around the ring but The Undertaker came around and stuck a big boot in his face. In the ring, High Octane ducked a clothesline off an irish whip and dropkicked Strife in the knee as he came off the other side. Strife didn't go down but High Octane drilled him with the "Head on Collision" superkick and fell back. Both men were down but High Octane managed to make it to his corner and get the tag in. Undertaker came in and unloaded his soup bone right hands on Strife. He then whipped him to the corner and followed in with a hard clothesline. Strife started to fight back. He reversed an irish whip and went for a big boot but Undertaker ducked and kicked Strife right in the gut when he turned around. He then set Strife up for the "Last Ride" but Bahamut came in with a clothesline to break it up. Meanwhile, High Octane went out and got a steel chair but Strife kicked it right in his face. Bahamut and Undertaker were in a heated exchange of right hands when Scott Steiner came out and pulled Strife out of the ring. He then hit him right over the head with a metal bar, splitting him open. Referee Tim White yelled at Steiner to leave when in the ring, High Octane lowblowed Bahamut and Undertaker chokeslammed him right on the steel chair. Undertaker then kicked the chair out of the ring as High Octane covered Bahamut for the 3 count. Match Time: 10:13 Coachman: "Wait a minute, I don't think Bahamut was even the legal man". Coachman: "It doesn't matter Cole, they were beaten big time"! Coachman: "Yeah, with a lot of help from Scott Steiner who better keep an eye over his shoulder from now on"! Norton: "Well, Strife decided to get in his business on RAW so Steiner just returned the favor". Coachman: "Well you can bet our bottom dollar that the match between The Undertaker and Bahamut is gonna be a war at Meltdown"! MELTDOWN PROMO: A HARD POURING RAIN IS SHOWN HITTING THE STREETS AS VARIOUS RAW AND PRIMETIME SUPERSTARS ARE SHOWN. Narrator: "What will these superstars do if they win it all? Will they stay, will they go? Who would they like to have make the jump to their show? Find out at Meltdown in the "Make your choice" battle royales where 8 men from RAW and PrimeTime will go at it in an over the top rope battle royale. Two men will answer those questions, live and only on pay-per-view"! TWF Tag Team Title Match Challengers.... The Acolytes vs. Travis Wakeman and Brock Lesnar w/Trish The match started with all 4 men brawling. Bradshaw and Lesnar took it outside as Faarooq and the "technical magician" Wakeman went at it inside the ring. Wakeman absorbed some stiff right hands from Faarooq and came back with a hard spinebuster. He then locked in the Sharpshooter but Bradshaw came and knocked Wakeman off. Lesnar came in to take care of Bradshaw as Wakeman continued to work on the knees of Faarooq. Wakeman set him up for a figure four but Faarooq countered with a shove in the back with his foot and then tagged in Bradshaw. Bradshaw came in like a wildman and hit Wakeman with 2 hard shoulder blocks. But off an irish whip, he put his head down to early and Wakeman grabbed the back of his head and rammed him face first into the mat. Wakeman then tagged in Lesnar. As the two big men traded shots in the ring, Wakeman and Faarooq began battling up the ramp when a man with spiked orange hair came out and pushed Faarooq off the ramp to the floor! Faarooq immediately grabbed his knee. Bradshaw saw this and ran up the ramp as the man mysteriously walked backstage. Wakeman and Lesnar grabbed their titles and tried to leave through the crowd when they were confronted by Jamal and Rosie who just started swinging. The four men brawled through the crowd and out of sight as EMT's came out to tend to Faarooq. Norton: "Jamal and Rosie are gonna get Wakeman Enterprises at Meltdown Coach but they don't wanna wait that long"! Coachman: "Well right now fans, EMT's are looking at the injured Faarooq and by the way, the man who threw him off the ramp is TWF newcomer Sean O'Doul and god only knows what brought that on". Norton: "I like this guy O'Doul's style already". Coachman: "Well we will try and keep you posted as to the physical condition of Faarooq over on TWF.com folks and right now, it doesn't look good". PRIOR TO COMMERCIAL.... BACKSTAGE... MEAN GENE IS WITH THE 2002 KING OF THE RING, WILLIAM REGAL. Mean Gene: "Alright guys, what a show it's been so far and we have that tremendous tag team main event still to come. At this time, I am with William Regal. Now Mr. Regal, it was announced earlier that you would be one of the participants in the RAW make your choice battle royale. Now tell me William, what would you do if you won"? William Regal: "Well Mean Gene, not that it's any of your concern, but who knows, maybe PrimeTime has a little more respect for royalty". REGAL WALKS AWAY AS SNME GOES TO COMMERCIAL..... Coachman: "Apparently you missed PrimeTime where this lowlife took out Shawn Michaels during his retirement speech and not to mention, hit the "Money Shot" on he and his wife". Norton: "If Shawn would just get in the ring and fight him. He's the one who decided to superkick Val at King of the Ring". "THE GAME" BY MOTORHEAD HITS AS THE TWF CHAMPION TRIPLE H MAKES HIS WAY DOWN THE AISLE, MOSTLY TO BOOS. Coachman: "Well here is the man who faces perhaps his biggest obstacle as TWF champion because not only does he have to defend the title against one man at Meltdown, but two and he doesn't even have to be pinned to lose it". "ROCK HARD" BY JA RULE HITS AS LITA AND JORDAN ROCKWELL RECEIVE ONE OF THE BEST POPS ALL NIGHT. Norton: "That's one of the disadvantages with triple threat rules". Coachman: "But what an oppurtunity this man has. Perhaps the hottest star in the TWF right now, he could become TWF champion at Meltdown. Wait a minute, Triple H and Venis aren't gonna waste any time"! JUST THEN, TRIPLE H AND VENIS ATTACK ROCKWELL AS SOON AS HE GETS INTO THE RING BUT THE CROWD GOES NUTS WHEN THEY HEARD THE SOUND OF BREAKING GLASS AND "STONE COLD" STEVE AUSTIN's MUSIC HITS. HE RUNS DOWN THE AISLE AND SLIDES INTO THE RING TO HELP HIS PARTNER. Triple H & Val Venis vs. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin & Jordan Rockwell w/Lita Rockwell and Venis renewed acquaintances in this one by starting things off. Rockwell took Venis to the mat with a series of amatuer moves before going to a reverse armbar. Venis fought his way back up and whipped Rockwell into the ropes. Rockwell ducked a clothesline but as he came off the other side, Venis caught him with a powerslam. He then tagged in the game who came in and blatantly choked Rockwell before putting the boots to him. After a hard clothesline, Triple H taunted the crowd. He picked Rockwell up and went for a sleeper hold but Rockwell countered with a sit down jawbreaker. He then made it to the corner and tagged in the Texas rattlesnake as the crowd came to their feet. Austin rocked the game with a series of right hands before dropping a big elbow across his throat. Off an irish whip, Triple H ducked a back elbow but Austin caught him with the Thesz press as he came off the other side. Austin set him on the turnbuckle as if to go for a superplex but when he climbed up, Triple H gave him three shots to the ribs to knock him down. Triple H then dropped a big knee across his forehead to get 1.....2....., but Austin was up. Venis and Triple H began tagging in and out, wearing down Austin. Austin fought to tag out but was prevented from doing so each time. Finally, all 4 men got involved and Rockwell hip tossed Venis to the floor. Lita then got up on the apron and took him out with the "Lita-canrana". In the ring, Triple H went for the facebuster to the knee but Austin got his head up, kicked him in the gut and hit the Stunner out of nowhere to get the 1....2....3! Match Time: 15:19 Coachman: "Just like that! Just like that Triple H could lose the title"! Norton: "Oh no, don't tell me Austin wants to drink a beer with Rockwell". AUSTIN CALLS FOR AND GETS 2 BEERS. HE TOSSES ONE TO ROCKWELL. ROCKWELL POPS IT OPEN AND JUST AS HE's ABOUT TO TAKE A DRINK, BOOM! AUSTIN NAILS HIM WITH A STUNNER! AUSTIN GETS UP ON THE TURNBUCKLE AND POURS HIS BEER DOWN HIS THROAT AS HIS MUSIC HITS. Coachman: "Austin stunned Rockwell! That must be payback for their match"! Norton: "And if he hits either one of them with that at Meltdown, it's all over"! Coachman: "What a main event for Meltdown! Who's gonna come out on top"?! OFF AIR.....
