FedEx Forum

Memphis, Tennessee

Attendance: 14,386

January 4, 2010

It was the first show of 2010 and fans inside the FedEx Forum were buzzing about what promises to be a huge year for the TWF. Speaking of huge, a monstrous crowd in Memphis was ready for a huge night featuring the superstars of Rampage and PrimeTime. Uprising also featured the start of an historic 8 diva, single elimination tournament.

Duke "Diamond Spider" Axe vs. Blaine Divine (invitee)

This was another terrific performance for the young Duke Axe, who outclassed local Tennessee competitor Blaine Divine from the opening bell. After catching him with a very nice missile dropkick, Axe hit the "Axe Massacre" to get the win. Axe has all the physical tools and he is now gaining a fan base. He definitely seems ready for the next level.

Bill Cutting vs. Chris Cadence (invitee)

Cadence faired much better than Divine did in his match, hitting Cutting with several high impact moves. But after reversing an irish whip, Cutting scored with a dropkick to the right knee that turned the match around. Cutting worked the knee and gave Cadence no chance to recover before locking in an unique version of an STF and Cadence had to give it up.

TWF Femme Fatale Title Tournament- 1st Round

Cherry vs. Ariel

With Kevin Thorn focused on winning gold, Ariel wanted nothing more than to be the first ever Femme Fatale champion of the TWF. The Femme Fatale title is the newly created championship for the divas of PrimeTime, and Uprising featured 2 of the 8 women who have a chance to win it. Ariel wowed the crowd with her ring entrance, but it was Cherry who controlled the bout. She had Ariel on the bring of elimination after a snap suplex but Ariel kicked out at 2. Ariel then was able to grab Cherry by the hair and slam her to the mat, trying to beat her into submission. Ariel slowed the pace of the match and wore Cherry out with many chokes and mostly underhanded manuevers. But after whipping Cherry to the corner, Ariel ran right into a back elbow and Cherry then hit her with a stiff clothesline. Moments later, Cherry went to the top rope and came off with an incredible moonsault, hitting everything and landing in a cover. She hooked Ariel's inside leg and got the 3 count to advance in the tourney.

CHERRY CELEBRATED THE WIN WITH THE CROWD WHO WAS VERY MUCH BEHIND HER AS THE RING CREW RUSHED OUT TO SWITCH THE RING APRON FROM THE UPRISING LOGO TO THE MAIN EVENT ON NBC LOGO.

MAIN EVENT GOES LIVE

THE NBC SPORTS PEACOCK LOGO IS SHOWN BEFORE "DEAD MAN WALKING" BY BLOODSIMPLE STARTS UP. AFTER VIDEO CLIPS FROM PAST MAIN EVENT SHOWS ROLLS, THE FEDEX FORUM IS PUT ON CAMERA AND THE PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY ROCKIN' WITH TWF FANS. THE SHOT THEN FOCUSES ON THE ENTRANCE WHEN CHRIS MASTERS' MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT TO SOME BIG BOOS.

Todd Grisham: "We thank you for joining us here tonight for TWF's Main Event on NBC! Todd Grisham along with the Honky Tonk Man and Honky, we're on a major cable network for what should be a major show"!

Honky Tonk Man: "We have two big time title matches tonight, Todd but we're startin' things off with two of the big boys from PrimeTime! Just do me a favor, Todd, and make things a little nicer than I have on PrimeTime, dealin' with Michael Cole".

SYLVESTER TERKAY's MUSIC COMES ON AND HE COMES OUT FROM THE BACK, STARING RIGHT AT THE MASTERPIECE.

Grisham: "Well there are actually some rumors running around about that but we'll wait to see what happens on PrimeTime. Right now, it's the Manbear against the Masterpiece and on the last edition of PrimeTime, these two men were scheduled to do battle but the match never got underway".

HTM: "The ring couldn't hold them that night and that's probably why they've got big Mike Enos in there officiating this one".

Chris Masters vs. Sylvester Terkay

This one was hard hitting from the opening bell as the former World champion and ECW champion went toe to toe. Terkay got the best of the initial standoff, knocking Masters to the mat with a big right hook. He then began to focus on Masters' right arm, working it over by twisting it awkwardly and yanking at it, looking for a hyperextension. Masters fought back, sticking a finger in Terkay's eye and then doubling him over with a kick to the gut. Masters followed up with a stiff European uppercut before trying for an irish whip only to have Terkay pull him right into a powerslam. Terkay then went for his standing triangle armbar, but Masters felt it coming and scrambled to the ropes. Terkay was forced to break it but when Masters got up, Terkay came in with a shot to the head before whipping the muscular former champion to the corner. Terkay then grabbed Masters and threw him across the ring with a huge hip toss. He then ran him over with a charging clothesline before going for a cover but Masters got a shoulder up at the count of 2. Terkay pulled him up and measured him for a head kick but Masters ducked and used a go behind, trying to set up the "Masterlock". Terkay easily broke the attempt and then nailed the kick to the head before covering him but again, Masters was up at 2. Terkay went for a big elbow drop but missed everything when Masters rolled out of the way. Masters pulled him up and tried to send him to the corner but that was reversed. Terkay then slammed into him with a clothesline but when he tried to pull him out, Masters held onto the ring ropes for dear life. He then turned his back to Terkay, giving himself up but as Terkay tried to pull him out of the corner, Masters grabbed onto Enos and moved him out of the way, allowing him to use a mule kick low blow to slow Terkay down. Masters then struck the Manbear with his double axe sledge right to the face, putting him down. Masters then made the cover and got the 3 count.

Match Time: 8:08

Grisham: "Wait a minute..... Chris Masters just got the three count but I don't think the referee saw the lowblow"!

HTM: "Looks to me like the Masterpiece outsmarted Terkay".

MASTERS' MUSIC PLAYED AND HE QUICKLY LEFT THE RING, STILL SHAKING OFF THE EFFECTS OF THE MATCH AS TERKAY SAT UP WITH AN UNPLEASANT LOOK ON HIS FACE.

Grisham: "You call that outsmarting an opponent, I call it blatant cheating! Terkay was in total control of this one"!

BACKSTAGE.......

LENA YADA IS IN THE BACK WITH EVE TORRES.

Lena Yada: "I am here with one of the TWF's newest divas, Eve Torres. Eve, you have been signed just in time to compete for the brand new Femme Fatale title".

Eve Torres: "Yes I have and I have to tell you, I am so excited. I mean, it's.........

JUST THEN, EVE IS INTERRUPTED BY THE PRESENCE OF TALIA.

Talia: "So, it seems you and I face each other in the first round, sweety. I know for sure, there's a lot more than just one hot chick inside me...... what about you?

TALIA STARTS TO WALK AWAY BUT TURNS BACK.

On second thought, you don't even have the hot chick part going for you".

TALIA WALKS AWAY AND EVE SEEMS SURPRISED BY HER COMMENTS.

2009 TWF AWARDS- ROOKIE OF THE YEAR

WINNER: JADEN CORE

COMMERCIAL BREAK........

COMMERCIALS FOR THE GILLETTE FUSION RAZOR AND SUBWAY ARE SHOWN.

RETURN FROM BREAK.... BACKSTAGE.....

WHEN THE MAIN EVENT RETURNS, ROWDY RODDY PIPER IS SHOWN IN HIS OFFICE OF THE BACKSTAGE AREA. HE TURNS AROUND WHEN HE HEARS THE DOOR CLOSED AND LOOKS VERY SURPRISED. THE CAMERA SLOWLY MOVES OVER TO SHOW MUHAMMAD HASSAN STANDING ACROSS FROM HIM!

Rowdy Roddy Piper: "Well I'll be damned".

Muhammad Hassan: "Surprised to see me? Don't worry, Piper, I'm not here to take my job back from you, but I am back. Back to be a part of the main roster on Rampage.... just thought I'd stop by to say hello.

HASSAN STARTS TO WALK OUT OF THE OFFICE BUT STOPS SHORT OF THE DOOR.

And I sure hope I'm treated just like every other superstar in the TWF.........

WITH THAT, HASSAN LEAVES THE ROOM.

Piper: (to himself): "Oh boy........

BACK AT RINGSIDE, "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE" BY WITHIN TEMPTATION COMES ON AND BLADE COMES OUT TO MOSTLY ALL BOOS. HE IS TRASH TALKING THE FANS ALL THE WAY DOWN THE ENTRANCE RAMP.

Grisham: "Can you believe that? Muhammad Hassan has returned to the TWF".

HTM: "He was always in the back of my mind and I can promise you this..... he hasn't forgotten the treatment he received during his TWF tenure so far".

Grisham: "Well here's a guy, Blade, who was one of the finalists for Rookie of the Year, an award we just saw go to Jaden Core but I know that Blade got a piece of that vote.......

CHAVO GUERRERO IS SHOWN IN THE RING.

HTM: "And in my opinion he should have won the award! He made much more of an impact this year than Core did..... just look at what he's done to Nails".

Grisham: "Uh, were you not paying attention to what Wally Willson said on PrimeTime? Blade hasn't seen the real Nails yet and from what my sources tell me, he doesn't want to".

Blade vs. Chavo Guerrero

The bell sounded to start this match and the two men locked up. Chavo was able to whip Blade to the mat with a quick arm drag before taking him down with a dropkick. Blade rolled out of the ring and seemed to be a little off his game. He got back into the ring but Chavo wanted to follow up, going for another dropkick but Blade swatted him aside. He then waited for him to get up, smashing him with a clothesline. Blade went on to control the next several minutes of the match, but he continually looked over his shoulder in all directions, almost anticipating something. He got Chavo up and hit a big inverted gutbuster, dropping Chavo stomach first across his knee. But just then, a man wearing a hockey mask jumped the guardrail to come out of the crowd. Blade immediately saw the man and stood dead in his tracks. Chavo recovered and came from behind, rolling him up with a schoolboy to get the 1........2........, but Blade pushed free. Both men got to their feet and Chavo went for a clothesline which Blade ducked and after Chavo came off the ropes from the other side, Blade pushed him into the air with a very nice flapjack. But this high impact move was followed by Blade noticing another man standing on the entrance ramp, also wearing a hockey mask. Blade looked like he didn't know what to do before turning his focus back to his opponent. He tried to pull Chavo up but Chavo countered with an inside small package and he got the 3 count!

Match Time: 8:11

Grisham: "He got him! Chavo has gotten the win after two men wearing hockey masks made their presence here"!

HTM: "This is garbage! We've seen these kinds of mind games out of Nails before and it's pure garbage"!

Grisham: "This really has to be considered a bit of an upset".

CHAVO GUERRERO's MUSIC PLAYED AS HE LEFT THE RING TO A GOOD CHEER, HAPPY TO GET A WIN UNDER HIS BELT.

HTM: "Of course it's an upset! Blade has been as hot as anyone as of late and he didn't deserve a loss here"!

Grisham: "Well if there's one thing for sure..... he definitely has a problem with Nails..... a big one".

2009 AWARD WINNER: DIVA OF THE YEAR- MONICA

BACK IN THE RING, THE CANADIAN NATIONAL ANTHEM IS PLAYING AND ROB STORM IS IN THE RING, HOLDING A MICROPHONE.

Rob Storm: "I've tried talking with Rowdy Roddy Piper, I've sent letters to the TWF board of directors and hell.... I went to TWF headquarters in Denver myself! I will not be denied! Piper granted me some time tonight to ask if there is anyone in the back who is willing to come to this ring and face me tonight"!

HTM: "It looks like Rob Storm finally has his chance to have a match.... is anyone gonna accept the challenge"?

JUST THEN, "TNT" BY AC/DC COMES ON AND CHRIS TIRPAK BEGINS TO MAKE HIS WAY THROUGH THE CROWD, CARRYING HIS SINGAPORE CANE.

Grisham: "Oh yeah! Here comes someone to take Storm up on his offer and he may get a Singapore cane to the head for his troubles"!

TIRPAK CLIMBS OVER THE BARRICADE AND GETS UP ON THE APRON. STORM IS ALREADY PUTTING HIS HANDS UP, PLEADING WITH TIRPAK. TIRPAK ENTERS THE RING, WIELDING THE CANE WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN, LANCE CADE COMES RUNNING OUT FROM THE BACK AND SMASHES TIRPAK IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD!

FROM THERE, STORM JOINS IN ON THE ATTACK AND SOON, THE TWO MEN HAVE TIRPAK INCAPACITATED.

Grisham: "Lance Cade has come out here and helped Storm! What the hell is going on"?!

HTM: "And they're not done.... look out"!

AS CADE HELD TIRPAK's ARMS BACK, STORM BROKE HIS OWN SINGAPORE CANE OVER HIS HEAD! THE FANS THEN BOOED AS BOTH CADE AND STORM RAISED THEIR ARMS AND THEY EACH HAD A BIG SMILE ON THEIR FACE.

Grisham: "Tirpak has walked into a bear's trap here! This was a setup all along"!

HTM: "Storm has mentioned before that he was not alone in this crusade against the TWF higher ups and obviously, he wasn't kidding! Plus, Tirpak just got a taste of his own medicine"!

TIRPAK WAS STILL DOWN IN THE RING TRYING TO SHAKE THE EFFECTS OF THE ATTACK AS THE SHOW WENT TO BREAK.

COMMERCIAL BREAK..........

A COMMERCIAL FOR PEPSI AND MOUNTAIN DEW 'THROWBACK' IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY A TRAILER FOR "THE MARINE 2".

RETURN FROM BREAK...... BACKSTAGE.....

WHEN PRIMETIME RETURNS, CAMERAS IN THE BACK ARE ON PJ CASH, WHO IS TALKING ON HIS CELL PHONE. HE STOPS HIS CONVERSATION WHEN HE SEES RENE DUPREE STANDING IN FRONT OF HIM.

PJ Cash: "Can you hold on for a sec........

CASH PRESSES THE PHONE AGAINST HIS SHOULDER.

Cash (in an annoyed voice): "Can I help you"?

Rene Dupree: "Oh, well I just thought I'd let ya know that Paul Burchill is looking for your buddy Joe Corey..... just a heads up".

DUPREE WALKS AWAY WITH AN ARROGANT SMILE ON HIS FACE.

Cash (to himself): "Jackass".

BACK IN THE RING, "LIVE FOR THE MOMENT" IS PLAYING AND MATT HARDY IS IN THE RING, READY FOR ACTION.

"FULLY ALIVE" BY FLYLEAF PLAYS AND OUT COMES SHANE THOMPSON TO A HOARD OF BOOS.

Grisham: "We are back here on TWF's Main Event live on NBC and here comes a man who we have not seen compete since he lost two straight falls to Jordan Rockwell at MeltDown in the three stages of hell match".

HTM: "Shhh, Todd. I talked to Shane earlier tonight and he made it clear to me he did not want us talking about that. He has big things on his mind in the future so let's talk about that".

Grisham: "Well in his immediate future, he has Matt Hardy and this should be a terrific match".

Shane Thompson vs. Matt Hardy

After a collar and elbow tie up to start the match, neither man could get the advantage. Hardy was able to push Thompson away from the corner and Thompson went for a single leg but Hardy caught him with a knee to the temple. After a big elbow drop, Hardy made the cover but Thompson easily pushed him off. Matt kicked him in the stomach and then delivered a big suplex, floating over into another cover. Thompson got out at 2 before exchanging in a tradeoff of punches with Hardy. Matt knocked him into the ropes with a succession of right hands before shooting him to the ropes but Thompson countered with a flying calf kick that was right on the money. That led to a wicked Shining Wizard and Thompson made his first pin attempt, getting a long 2 count. Thompson kept the attack coming, using his feet to batter Hardy. After absorbing several kicks, Matt found himself on the receiving in of a swinging neckbreaker drop. Matt slowly got to his feet and when he did, Thompson ran in. But an alert Hardy caught him and delivered the Side Effect out of nowhere. He then went to the apron, calling for his flying legdrop. The fans popped as Hardy flew off the top rope, landing the big move. He was ready for the "Twist of Fate" and Thompson seemed to be in a lot of trouble. Matt kicked him in the gut and tried to lock him up for it but Thompson reversed it and took Hardy to the mat in a vicious looking dragon sleeper. Pulling back on Hardy's head and neck while grapevining his body with his legs, Hardy had no choice but to tap out.

Match Time: 7:19

Grisham: "A big win here for Shane Thompson, using a sick looking dragon sleeper to get the submission over Matt Hardy, who had no choice there, Honky".

HTM: "Oh no, he might've broke his neck if he didn't tap out".

Shane Thompson: "Now that I have that out of the way, I'd like to call John Cena out here. Cena, I know you're in the back. You wanted a fight with me on PrimeTime, so why don't you come out here now and we'll do it in the ring"!

Grisham: "Thompson is calling out Cena? Right after he just had a match"?

"THE TIME IS NOW" STARTS UP AND CENA COMES OUT TO HIS USUAL MIXTURE OF BOOS AND CHEERS.

HTM: "Well here comes Cena and he looks ready to go"!

JUST AS CENA SLIDES INTO THE RING UNDER THE BOTTOM ROPE, THOMPSON GETS OUT OF THE RING ON THE OTHER SIDE, SETTING OFF AN ERUPTION OF BOOS.

Grisham: "Now what is this"?

HTM: "Smart move by Thompson..... he doesn't need this right now".

CENA JUST THROWS HIS HANDS UP AND LAUGHS AS THOMPSON WALKS AWAY, HEADING TO THE BACK AS THE CROWD CONTINUES TO BOO.

2009 TWF AWARD WINNER: EDDIE SAINT JAMES AND THE BOOGEYMAN- TAG TEAM OF THE YEAR

BACK TO LIVE ACTION, "THE REALEST" BY YOUNG JEEZY COMES ON AND AXL IRVIN MAKES HIS WAY TO THE RING. HE IS WEARING A PAIR OF BLACK JEANS AND A CHICAGO BULLS #1 DERRICK ROSE JERSEY. HE GETS INTO THE RING AND ASKS FOR A MICROPHONE.

Grisham: "Well here is the man who is the current holder of the WrestleMania Jackpot briefcase but he is clearly without that so let's see what he has to say".

Axl Irvin: "I didn't come out here to say any one liners or anything like that. I just want to get right to the point, so Edge, you have something that belongs to me and I want it back"!

HTM: "Stern words from Axl".

"METALINGUS" BY ALTER BRIDGE STRIKES UP AND EDGE COMES OUT, ALSO IN STREET CLOTHES AND HE HAS THE BRIEFCASE WITH HIM.

Edge: "So I suppose you're talking about this, right?

EDGE HOLDS THE BRIEFCASE UP.

What do you think I'm just gonna walk down there and he say, sorry dude, here's your golden ticket for a title shot back".

Axl Irvin: "Let's go, Edge, there's nothing you can do with it anyway. If you want one, why don't you try to earn one"?

Edge: "Oh, so now we're gonna tell jokes too? First of all, I have this to have a little bit of control over you, Axl. Why haven't you used this thing yet? Are you scared? Do you feel like you don't deserve to have it?! Because I think both of those are true"!

Axl Irvin: "Is that right? So you think that by playing games like that with me, you'll have some control over me? Okay, Edge..... I'll play your game..... and I'll show you how scared and how undeserving I am"!

THE CROWD POPS

Edge: "Likewise! And if you want this briefcase back..... that's fine! But you're gonna have to take it back"!

EDGE HOLDS THE BRIEFCASE UP HIGH IN HIS RIGHT HAND AS IF HE'D WON IT WHILE "METALINGUS" PLAYS AGAIN.

Grisham: "A volatile situation brewing here and both men seemed adamant in their words".

HTM: "If I were Axl, I'd march right up that ramp right now and take my property back".

Grisham: "Yeah, sure ya would".

COMMERCIAL BREAK..........

A COMMERCIAL FOR CIALIS IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY AN NBC PROGRAMMING AD FOR "30 ROCK" AND THE JAY LENO SHOW.

RETURN FROM BREAK..... BACKSTAGE....

WHEN MAIN EVENT RETURNS, CAMERAS ARE FOLLOWING MONICA AS SHE WALKS THROUGH THE BACKSTAGE AREA. SHE WALKS RIGHT THROUGH AN OPEN DRESSING ROOM DOOR WHICH HAPPENS TO BE THE HART DYNASTY's AND SHE TAKES A SHOT AT NATALYA. A SKIRMISH STARTS BETWEEN THE TWO WOMEN WHICH HARRY SMITH AND TYSON KIDD DO THEIR BEST TO BREAK UP. FINALLY, EDDIE SAINT JAMES COMES UP AND PULLS MONICA AWAY ALTHOUGH THE TWO WOMEN CLEARLY WANT TO GO AT IT STILL.

BACK AT RINGSIDE, "IN THE SHADOWS" BY THE RASMUS COMES ON AND JADEN CORE MAKES HIS WAY OUT TO THE RING. ALTHOUGH COVERED BY HIS MASK, HIS EYES SHOW A CERTAIN FOCUS.

Grisham: "Well we are now ready for one of tonight's marquee matchups but what about what we just saw in the back between the TWF Women's champion and Rampage's newest diva, Natalya"?

HTM: "Well Monica just won the award for diva of the year but Natalya didn't back down an inch to her".

"BLACK" BY SEVENDUST COMES ON AND SEBASTIAN CAIN COMES OUT TO A BIG POP. HE HAS THE KING OF CABLE TITLE STRAPPED TO HIS WAIST.

Grisham: "Well I'm really looking forward to this match. Jaden Core earned this oppurtunity by winning the Stars of the Future battle royal which was set up on Rampage by Rowdy Roddy Piper and Honky, these two men seem to at least share some sort of mutual respect for one another".

HTM: "And it all needs to go out the window as far as I'm concerned! This is for the King of Cable title and mutual respect ain't gonna make ya a champion"!

TWF King of Cable Title Match

Challenger: Jaden Core vs. Sebastian Cain

The two men circled one another as the bell sounded to start the match, both being very tentative. Cain finally moved in with an amatuer style takedown attempt but Core fought him off with two quick elbows to the head followed by a sharp kick to the chest. Core then grabbed Cain in a front facelock and tried to get him into a tornado DDT but Cain countered by tossing him across the ring. Core got his footing quickly but Cain ran him over with a clothesline. He then bent down to try and pick him up but Core clipped him with a kick from his back and then sprung to his feet, throwing the superkick which Cain was lucky to avoid. Both men took a step back and the crowd applauded the effort. Cain moved in again and tied Core up, pushing him to the corner but again, Core was the quicker man, slapping the chest of Cain with 2 knifedge chops before going to the middle turnbuckle and coming off with a reverse crossbody block but Cain ducked to avoid it. He then used an Oklahoma roll to get the 1.......2........, but Core escaped. Back on their feet, Cain scored with a kneelift before shooting Core to the corner. He then ran in looking for a running forearm but Core moved out of the way. He then used to the ropes to spring onto the shoulders of Cain, trying for a victory roll. But Cain again countered, hitting an electric chair drop. Core fell very hard on the back of his head. Cain saw an opening and took it, hitting the "Mark of Cain" and covering the challenger for the 3 count.

Match Time: 6:08

Grisham: "Oh my gosh what a move! With that, Sebastian Cain has retained the King of Cable title"!

HTM: "He put Jaden Core down and out with that thing! That was almost as devastating as the Shake, Rattle and Roll"!

AS "BLACK" AGAIN PLAYED AND CAIN CELEBRATED THE WIN, HE TURNED AROUND TO SEE JADEN CORE STANDING THERE. THE FANS PAUSED TO SEE WHAT WOULD HAPPEN NEXT, BUT CORE EXTENDED HIS HAND AND CAIN ACCEPTED THE HANDSHAKE. CORE THEN LEFT THE RING TO AN APPLAUSE AND CAIN GAVE HIM ONE AS WELL.

Grisham: "See, I guess mutual respect does win ya somethin'".

HTM: "Whatever.... I only see one guy holding a title belt right now".

2009 AWARD WINNER: EVAN BOURNE- LIGHTHEAVYWEIGHT OF THE YEAR.

"I'M THE BOOGEYMAN..... AND I'M COMIN' TO GETCHA" IS HEARD WHICH LEADS INTO THE BOOGEYMAN's MUSIC. HE COMES OUT TO A MIXED RESPONSE, CRAWLING DOWN THE RAMP WITH HIS TAG TEAM TITLE BELT AROUND HIS NECK.

Grisham: "So a very deserving winner, Evan Bourne, takes home the Lightheavyweight of the year".

HTM: "That's a mistake if you ask me. How could Kenny Doane not come away the winner? He had a much better year than Bourne! And look at this idiot.... The Boogeyman actually won an award this year and that is a joke"!

"WANTED MAN" BY REV THEORY PLAYS NEXT, BRINGING J.J. RAMPLIN OUT TO A BIG CHEER.

Grisham: "Hey, they were the tag team of the year. They've held the titles for what I believe is a record. Call it a joke if you want, but I think they should've won that award hands down".

HTM: "Well let's talk about this match. J.J. Ramplin is gonna face Boogeyman here and this is no tag team match. I wouldn't be surprised if this fool forgot how to do that".

The Boogeyman vs. J.J. "The Ram" Ramplin

When the bell sounded to start the fight, Boogeyman was dancing around and gyrating his body. But The Ram was in no mood for games, coming straight at him and backing him into the corner before landing a series of right hands. Ramplin then shot Boogeyman to the ropes but Boogeyman exploded off with a clothesline. After a huge elbow drop, Boogeyman pulled Ramplin up and pounded him with a clubbing forearm that sent him into the corner. After taking a few steps back, Boogeyman ran in and went for a flying body splash but Ramplin was able to move out of the way. After dropping Boogeyman with a neckbreaker, Ramplin backed up and smashed him with the Ram's Horns. Moments later, he got one half of the Rampage Tag Team champions up and drove him into the mat with the "Dead Weight", getting the 3 count.

Match Time: 4:58

Grisham: "A huge win for J.J. Ramplin, putting the...... oh look out"!

SUDDENLY, RAMPLIN IS BLINDSIDED BY EDDIE SAINT JAMES WHO HITS HIM IN THE SIDE OF THE HEAD WITH HIS TAG TEAM BELT. AS THE CROWD BOOS, THE SAINT STANDS OVER THE RAM.

HTM: "The Saint has come to the aid of his partner and laid Ramplin out"!

Grisham: "We've also seen Ramplin and The Saint have their differences lately..... this situation seems far from over".

The Titantron flickers to life to show Richard Ramsley sitting in a hallway. His long hair hangs in his face as he stares at the ground. Shirtless, he appears to be almost lifeless. Suddenly, he leans back against the wall. His eyes are almost glossed over as his head lolls lazily to the side. Staring into the distance, he begins to speak. His speech pattern is rhythmic, and melodic, as if he's quietly singing.

Richard Ramsley: "Time.... is never time at all.... you can never, ever leave.... without leaving a piece of youth.... and our lives are forever changed.... we will never be the same.... the more you change the less you feel...

Slowly, he looks down at his arm. He moves his fingers slightly, as if he's trying to see if he's still capable of doing so. He once again begins to speak, his voice now quiet, and gruff.

Ramsley: I.... they want me to talk... they told me to... I asked them what they wanted me to say.... they just said to say whatever I wanted. I know what it's like now.... to start it all over.... I'm a blank slate...I 've got the pen in my hand, but... can I rewrite myself? Was.... was he right? Did he change? Can I? Do I have to? Do I want to? I've... never had so many questions... I've always said that I had all the answers... do I, really? Maybe.... was I just to afraid to ask questions?

Ramsley puts his face in his hands, and leans back against the wall. With his hands in view, it's evident that he's applied black nail polish to his fingernails. Slowly, he starts rocking back and forth.

Ramsley: I... went to a psychiatrist.... I asked him how to make myself better... he said I need... intervention... he said I need a strong support group..... friends.............. family.... I.... tried to find Mom.... she's in Wisconsin, remarried, sober, happy. I can't talk to her. Dad.... I don't care where he is.... friends? I don't have any.... do I want them? Could I get them? No.... no, that has to be true. I've told you this, Richie, you're the only one who won't lie to you... who won't hurt you. But... I did lie... didn't I? I hurt myself, didn't I? I... I don't want to talk anymore.

Ramsley stands, and very slowly, very deliberately walks away. All that's left is a shot of the hallway wall as the shot fades to black.

COMMERCIAL BREAK.......

A COMMERCIAL FOR QUIZNO's IS SHOWN FOLLOWED BY ONE FOR 5 HOUR ENERGY.

RETURN FROM BREAK.... RINGSIDE......

WHEN MAIN EVENT RETURNS, "HELP I'M ALIVE" COMES ON AND KAYLA KARTER COMES OUT. FANS AREN'T SURE WHAT TO MAKE OF HER AS SHE CONFIDENTLY MAKES HER WAY TO THE RING. IN THE RING IS HER OPPONENT, A LOCAL TENNESSEE WRESTLER.

Grisham: "This is a young lady I have really been looking forward to the debut of ever since we saw her make her arrival in the TWF on the last Rampage".

HTM: "But I don't think anyone expected her to take out Melina the way she did..... I liked that".

Grisham: "Kayla Karter said she wanted to make an impact and she did just that..... now let's see what she can do in the ring">

Kayla Karter vs. Black Widow (invitee)

The in ring debut of Karter was a successful one. Her opponent was Black Widow, a competitor from a local Tennessee independent promotion where all the invitees for this show were taken from. Black Widow did nothing to slow Karter down and Karter put together one of the most impressive first matches we've seen from a diva in years. After using a single leg takedown, Karter kicked Black Widow right in the back of the head. After punishing her with several punches and kicks, Karter delivered a wicked neckbreaker takedown. She then waited for Black Widow to get up and when she did, she delivered her devastating "Kay Kick" and covered her up to complete an emphatic win.

Match Time: 3:50

Grisham: "Wow! What a win for Kayla Karter...... she just rolled through here like a cyclone"!

HTM: "I'll say"!

"HELP I'M ALIVE" PLAYED AGAIN AS KARTER LEFT THE RING. MANY OF THE FANS WERE APPLAUDING HER PERFORMANCE.

Grisham: "She used a style we're not used to seeing out of our divas, Honky. That was very impressive".

HTM: "And she looked good doing it too".

BACKSTAGE........

CAMERAS IN THE BACK SHOW TROY GAFGEN KNOCK ON A DOOR. HE CRACKS IT OPEN ND ONLY DARKNESS CAN BE SEEN.

Troy Gafgen: "Ramsley..... you in here"?

2009 AWARD WINNER: RICHARD RAMSLEY VS. SEBASTIAN CAIN @ MELTDOWN- MATCH OF THE YEAR

THE SHOT GOES TO THE RING WHEN THE ACTION IS BACK LIVE AND PAUL BURCHILL IS IN THE RING. HE IS WEARING A PAIR OF BLUE JEANS AND A BLACK LEATHER JACKET. IN HIS HAND IS A MICROPHONE.

Paul Burchill: "I think everyone watching knows what I am out here for, so let's just get down to business. Joe Corey, I'd like you to come out here to the ring please".

Grisham: "So we knew this was coming. Paul Burchill is asking Joe Corey to come out here and on the last edition of PrimeTime, we all saw Corey take out the sister of Paul Burchill with a door".

HTM: "Yeah, but it was an accident".

"AMAZING" BY KANYE WEST STARTS UP AND JOE COREY STEPS OUT FROM THE BACK IN STREET CLOTHES AND DARK SHADES. HE SLOWLY MAKES HIS WAY TO THE RING.

Grisham: "Well it looks like Burchill is gonna get his wish but what does he have to say"?

Paul Burchill: "Corey..... you know I have always had a lot of respect for you. But whether you meant to do it or not, my lovely sister suffered a broken nose when you hit her with that door. She is back at home in Chelsea recovering and the only thing that she asks....... that we ask..... is for an apology".

COREY HOLDS OUT HIS HAND TO ASK FOR THE MICROPHONE. BURCHILL HANDS IT TO HIM. BUT JUST LIKE THAT, COREY POPS HIM WITH THE MIC AND THEN JACKS HIM WITH IT A SECOND TIME.

RETURN FROM BREAK.... RINGSIDE....

Drew McIntyre vs. Finlay

The Main Event returned with a very competitive matchup and Finlay had his hands full with the young, brash Drew McIntyre. McIntyre got control of the match after a chop block and he then began working on the upper back and right shoulder of the fighting Irishman. Behind the rally of the crowd, Finlay began to fight his way out of the predicament, using an elbow to the midsection of McIntyre to break free. Finlay ran the ropes but McIntyre connected with a kick to the abdomen before trying to set up his double armed DDT. But Finlay countered out and swung McIntyre right into a big left-armed clothesline. After a jumping and sitting right on the chest of McIntyre, Finlay got him up onto his shoulders in a fireman's carry position but McIntyre raked the eyes and nose of Finlay to get free. When he landed on the mat, McIntyre reached for the shillelagh Finlay came to the ring with and smacked him right between the eyes with it, forcing referee Charles Robinson to call for the bell.

Match Time: 5:17

Grisham: "Now what the heck was that?! Drew McIntyre has been disqualified for using that shillelagh"!

HTM: "Finlay should really think about leaving that thing in the back if he doesn't want to get hit with it"!

MCINTYRE LEFT TO A LOT OF BOOS YET HE HAD A BIG GRIN ON HIS FACE.

Grisham: "McIntyre got himself blatantly disqualfied! Was that because he knew he couldn't beat Finlay here"?!

HTM: "Oh calm down, Todd...... these two will meet again and when they do, like I said, Finlay needs to leave that.... whatever you call it.... in the back".

Shane McMahon: "Okay boys, the contract has been drawn up and looked over and all it needs now.........

THORN TAKES THE CLIPBOARD CONTAINING THE CONTRACT OUT OF SHANE's HANDS AND SIGNS HIS NAME TO IT BEFORE PUSHING IT OVER TO ROCKWELL WHO IS FIDGETING WITH SOMETHING UNDER THE TABLE.

HTM: "What the hell is Rockwell doing"?

ROCKWELL LEANS OVER AND SIGNS THE CONTRACT BUT HE PULLED HIS OTHER HAND OUT FROM UNDER THE TABLE, REVEALING HE HAD THORN's WALKING STICK! THORN LUNGED AT HIM BUT ROCKWELL JABBED HIM IN THE THROAT WITH HIS OWN WALKING STICK. ROCKWELL THEN GRABBED THE GOBLET AND TOOK A DRINK OF WHATEVER WAS IN IT.

HTM: "What the hell is he doing"?!

ROCKWELL THEN SPIT A RED SUBSTANCE RIGHT IN THE FACE OF ARIEL!

RETURN FROM BREAK..... RINGSIDE......

"VOICES" BY REV THEORY COMES ON WHEN MAIN EVENT RETURNS AND RANDY ORTON COMES OUT TO MAINLY BOOS, SLOWLY WALKING DOWN THE RAMP.

Grisham: "The TWF World title is about to be put on the line in a rematch from MeltDown and here comes the former champion".

HTM: "The former champion who is hungry to get that belt back. This should be a great match".

"FLY FROM THE INSIDE" BY SHINEDOWN COMES ON AND JASON OLIVER COMES OUT TO AT LEAST AS MANY BOOS AS ORTON RECEIVED.

Grisham: "This is a much anticipated rematch of what was a very good match at MeltDown".

HTM: "Well after getting snubbed for the Wrestler of the year award, I would expect Oliver to have some extra motivation here".

TWF World Title Match

Challenger: Randy Orton vs. Jason Oliver

Right as the bell sounded, Orton wasted no time going after Oliver, showing a real eagerness to make it a quick match. But Oliver played off that, taking Orton to the mat by throwing him over his body in a headlock takedown and he kept Orton on the mat to slow the pace of the match. But Orton showed off a little mat wrestling ability of his own, rolling Oliver onto his shoulders and getting a 1 count. Both men got to their feet and Orton scored with a kick to the gut. He then shot Oliver to the ropes and tried to leapfrog over him but the champion snatched him out of mid air with a powerslam. After a snapping neckbreaker roll that would've made Mr. Perfect proud, Oliver got Orton up in position for a T-bone suplex but Orton fought out and came back with an incredible dropkick. As Orton got his wits about him, he watched Ted Dibiase come out from the back, making himself comfortable at ringside. Keeping a close eye on Dibiase, Orton pulled Oliver up and popped him with 2 hard European uppercuts. He then shot him to the ropes and went for another dropkick but Oliver held onto the ropes and Orton landed hard on the back of his head. Oliver then used a bridge rollup and nearly got the victory. Both men got to their feet and when Oliver threw a kick that Orton caught, the 'King of Sting' came back with a dragonwhip kick. At that time, Cody Rhodes made his way down to ringside and the confidence began to grow inside Oliver. Referee Jim Korderas did his best to keep GeNext at bay as Oliver began to pummel the challenger. But when Oliver missed with a flying elbow drop off the top rope, the door was opened for Orton. Orton connected with his backbreaker, pulling Oliver down across his own back. Just then, Dibiase jumped up on the apron, trying to come into the ring. But Korderas cut him off. This allowed Rhodes to come in from the other side with the World title in hand but shockingly, he smashed Oliver with the belt! Orton and Rhodes gave each other a grin as Oliver did his best to get back to his feet. When he did, Orton struck with the "RKO" and covered him for the 1..............2................3!

Match Time: 7:26

HTM: "What is going on here"?!

Grisham: "Well that was in no way an accident...... Cody Rhodes just cost Jason Oliver the World title he worked so hard to earn and he's now leaving with Orton"!

AS "VOICES" PLAYED, ORTON LEFT WITH THE WORLD TITLE HELD HIGH IN HIS RIGHT ARM AND CODY RHODES AT HIS SIDE. IN THE RING, A CONFUSED DIBIASE KNELT NEXT TO THE FALLEN FORMER CHAMPION.

HTM: "I don't get it..... I don't understand this at all"!

Grisham: "Well in the plainest terms I can come up with, we have a new World champion and it appears as if a stake has just been driven through the heart of GeNext"!
