DARK MATCHES The Leviathan beat Weapon R in 4:11 with his big powerbomb. Mike "The Texan" Smith defeated Steve Blackman in 8:10 with the "Sidewinder" after a seesaw battle. Body Donna Skip beat Nova in 5:26 with outside help from Terri and Kip.

Michael Cole:"The TWF has come back to Cajun country but the big question right now in this company King is, can anyone stop the New World Order"? Jerry Lawler:"Well Michael, as seen there on PrimeTime, the NWO is starting to lure some big names and there's no telling who's next"! A MATCHUP PICTURE IS SHOWN OF ROB VAN DAM AND AHMED WALKER ON ONE SIDE WITH VAL VENIS AND NAILS STANDING IN FRONT OF THE BLACK AND BLUE NWO SIGN ON THE OTHER. Cole:"Huge tag team main event tonight folks as Rob Van Dam will team with Ahmed Walker to unite against the NWO team of Val Venis and Nails. SIRENS BLARE AS SCOTT STEINER COMES DOWN THE AISLE WITH SCOTT TAYLOR. We're ready for our first match folks and I don't know who signed this one, but Steiner certainly doesn't need Scott Taylor out here with him". SPIKE DUDLEY's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT WITH PERRY SATURN. Lawler:"Well, he probably knew that Spike would come out here with Saturn". Cole:"This new combo of Saturn and Spike have looked out for one another lately but Spike has a mountain to climb tonight and later folks, Taylor is gonna challenge Essa Rios for the Lightheavyweight title". Scott Steiner vs. Spike Dudley Steiner toyed with Spike for the first couple minutes, swatting away a dropkick and dropping a big elbow across his chest. He then caught him with a powerslam and a tilt-a-whirl slam but after a 2 count, Steiner pulled him up. As referee Chad Patton warned Steiner not to do that again, Spike hit Steiner with 2 shots to the rib cage and then he came off the ropes with a dropkick to the knee. As he came off the ropes again, Steiner got up off of one knee and drilled him with a Steiner Line. Big Poppa Pump locked in the "Steiner Recliner" and that was all Spike could take as he gave up. Match Time: 6:06 But after the bell had sounded, Steiner kept the hold on. Finally, Saturn came in and gave Steiner a few shots to break the hold. But Taylor came from behind and hit him with a 2 handed jumping facebuster and Steiner locked in the "Steiner Recliner" on him as well. Steiner and Taylor left Saturn and Spike in pain in the ring as the sirens hit again. Cole:"This is ridiculous King! He won the damn match, what does doing that prove"? Justin Sane vs. Tajiri Tajiri tried to come out with his quick martial arts kicks but Sane was ready for them this time, using some clever blocks and taking Tajiri down. Once on the mat, he pounded away and the knees of Tajiri with stomps and various holds in an attempt to take that weapon away from him. After some stiff shots to the gut in the corner, Sane whipped Tajiri into the opposite corner and charged in byt Tajiri got up on the middle turnbuckle amd locked in the Tarantula. After a spinning claf kick, Tajiri went for his killer kick to the head but Sane ducked and in one motion, got up and kicked Tajiri in the gut. He then delivered a devastating brainbuster. After that, he locked in the "Straight Jacket" and Tajiri tapped out. Match Time: 4:27 Cole:"What a painful looking hold that Straight Jacket is and Justin Sane has finally ended his losing streak to Tajiri". TWF European Title Match Challenger... Jeff Hardy vs. Rhyno This was a helluva match! Rhyno controlled the match early with his strength advantage, catching Jeff with a hard sideslam and a nasty spinebuster. But when he went for the "Gore", Jeff moved and got back into it, catching Rhyno with a sit down jawbreaker and a double legdrop to the groin. Jeff then bounced off the ropes but Rhyno caught him with a big powerslam. He then went out and got a steel chair. As he was about to crack Jeff with it, Matt Hardy ran down the aisle, jumped on the apron and took the chair as Rhyno pulled it back. Then Carney ran out and attacked Matt. With both men brawling on the apron, referee Jim Corderis tried to break it up when Rhyno "Gored" Matt off. Jeff came over to his brother's aid but Corderis pulled him away. Carney then grabbed the steel chair and cracked Rhyno over the head with it. Jeff then ascended the turnbuckle and hit the "Swanton Bomb" as Corderis counted the 1....2...3 to crown a new champ! Lawler:"What's she mad about"? EXTREME JAPAN's THEME HITS AS YUJI MATASAMO COMES OUT TO A LOT OF BOOS. Cole:"Isn't it obvious? He ordered for both of them"! Lawler:"All the food is good down here Cole, you know that". "NEVER GONNA STOP" BY ROB ZOMBIE HITS AS EDGE COMES OUT TO A GREAT POP. Cole:"That's not the point King but listen to the ovation here for Edge! This should be one heck of a match"! Yuji Matasamo vs. Edge This was the best match all night. Edge was very agressive right away, hitting Matasamo with a spinning wheel kick and then the Edge-O-Matic, getting a very near fall in the first minute if the match. It turned into a very back and forth contest, with Matasamo locking in a sleeper hold to slow things down after the two traded several moves. Edge tried to counter the sleeper hold but Matasamo nicely reversed it into the "Skewer DDT". But at the last second, Edge got a foot on the bottom rope, frustrating Matasamo who thought he had won it. Edge then got the momentum back after ducking a clothesline and hitting a side jumping facebuster. But when he went for his spear, he hit the post shoulder first when Matasamo moved. Matasamo then lifted him to the top rope and used a reverse frankensteiner to get the win and score a big upset. Match Time: 9:55 Cole:"That's certainly gotta rank up there with the biggest wins of Matasamo's career"! Lawler:"It sure does Cole! I can't say enough about how impressed I am with Extreme Japan. They just keep getting better and better". The Acolytes vs. Chris Benoit and X-Pac X-Pac and Chris Benoit, two of the recent defectors to the NWO, stepped up to the Acolytes challenge. They worked very well as a team early as they pummelled Bradshaw. After a spinning heel kick by X-Pac, he tagged in Benoit who came in and chopped away at the big Texan. He then hit him with a german suplex but Faarooq came in to stop the count. Bradshaw hit Benoit with a clothesline as X-Pac came into the ring. Bradshaw tagged in Faarooq but while he was trying to restrain X-Pac, referee Mike Sparks didn't see anything. Benoit continued the assault on Bradshaw, working diligently on his right arm. He then whipped Bradshaw to the corner and followed him in. But Bradshaw stuck a big boot in his face and made the tag to Faarooq. The match broke out as Faarooq powerslammed X-Pac and hit Benoit with a 1 handed spinebuster. Bradshaw came in to back him up as Sparks tried to get the match back in order. Then, Triple H ran out in street clothes and cracked X-Pac over the head with a steel chair, walking away to a huge roar from the fans. Bradshaw then blasted him with the "Clothesline from Hell" and covered him for the win. Match Time: 13:32 PRIOR TO COMMERCIAL.... BACKSTAGE.... Okerlund:"Commissioner Piper, you were just arriving at the arena tonight when you saw Eddie Guerrero feel the wrath of Stephanie McMahon". Commissioner Piper:"Ya know Gene, let me start by saying that I'm glad to see that Vince is gone for awhile, but his daughter may be worse. But Stephanie, I'm not stupid. WALLY WILLSON IS STANDING OUT IN THE PARKING LOT HOLDING A BRIEFCASE WHEN A MOTORCYCLE RIDDEN BY THE UNDERTAKER PULLS IN. WILLSON APPROACHES HIM. Undertaker:"What the hell do you want"? (he opens the briefcase which is lined with money) This is what the NWO is willing to give you in exchange for the number one contendership, if you'll renounce it". Cole:"What a jerk High Octane is but speaking of jerks King, can you believe what Wally Willson just did? Trying to buy the number one contendership". Lawler:"I can't believe the Undertaker threw the money in his face"! ESSA RIOS' MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT TO A GOOD REACTION, WEARING THE LIGHTHEAVYWEIGHT TITLE. Cole:"The Lightheavyweight title will be put on the line momentarily and what a respectable champion Essa Rios has been King". Lawler:"Well he's gonna be challenged here. He better be ready if he wants to hold onto the belt". TWF Lightheavyweight Title Match Challenger... "Too Hot" Scott Taylor vs. Essa Rios Taylor came out with a physical attack no one had seen out of him before, scratching and gouging Rios' eyes before dropping him with a piledriver to get a 2 count. He blocked Rios from doing his main moves but more importantly, he kept him grounded. It just was not Rios' type of match. But Rios got back into it after ducking a clothesline and catching Taylor with a roundhouse kick. He then used a nice sunset flip off the middle turnbuckle to get a 2 count. After a gorgeous dropkick backed Taylor into the corner, Rios attempted a back handspring elbow but Taylor moved, kicked Rios in the gut and delivered an innovative reverse suplex. Rios' face smashed the mat as Taylor used a mahistrol cradle to pin Rios and win the title. Match Time: 4:54 Lawler:"We've got a new champion"! Cole:"I gotta give Taylor credit, he wrestled a good match there". Lawler:"And you gotta admit Cole, the attitude change is earning Scott Taylor some success"! STEPHANIE HURRIEDLY COMES DOWN THE AISLE, FOLLOWED BY NAILS. Stephanie:"You want some more huh"? STEPHANIE LIFTS HER HAND TO SLAP FRANCINE WHEN NAILS GRABS IT. STEPHANIE PULLS FRANCINE UP AND IN ONE OF THE MOST DISPICABLE ACTA IN TWF HISTORY, NAILS CRACKS FRANCINE OVER THE HEAD WITH THE CHAIR! Cole:"Oh my god! I can't believe this! Nails just smashed a woman over the head with a chair! What a sick human being"! Lawler:"Yeah, that may be going a little too far". EMT's RUSH TO THE RING TO ATTEND TO FRANCINE AS SNME GOES TO COMMERCIAL... COMMERCIAL..... RETURN FROM BREAK.... FOOTAGE IS SHOWN FROM PRIMETIME OF VLAD THE IMPALER CALLING OUT DREW BLOOD AND THE LIGHTS GO OUT. AFTER THE LIGHTS COME BACK ON, HE IS DROPPED WITH THE "BLOODBATH" BY DREW BLOOD WHO WAS BEHIND HIM IN THE RING. VLAD's MUSIC HITS AND HE COMES OUT. HE COMES OUT TO A MIXED RESPONSE. Lawler:"Vlad is hardcore Cole and this guy Drew Blood has a problem with hardcore wrestling, according to what Vlad has been told". Drew Blood vs. Vlad the Implaer Drew Blood came out with a killer instinct, hitting Vlad with a hard clothesline and then a stomp to the groin. He viciously pulled him up and began to use some hard knifedge chops to Vlad's chest. As they two traded right hands, Drew Blood kneed him in the midsection and then bounced off the ropes. But Vlad ducked and Drew Blood took out referee Mike Chioda with a flying forearm. Vlad then hit him with a hard ddt. With Drew Blood and the ref down, Vlad went outside the ring and lifted the apron up. He pulled out a kendo stick. He brought it into the ring but Drew Blood kicked him in the stomach. He tried to deliver a piledriver but Vlad went down to one knee and used the kendo stick to low blow him. He then cracked it over his head as Chioda got up. Vlad made the cover and got the win. Match Time: 2:46 Lawler:"You wanna talk about upsets Cole, that's a huge one"! DREW BLOOD SCOOTED TO THE CORNER WITH A VERY EVIL LOOK IN HIS EYES, STARING AT VLAD AS HE WALKED AWAY. Cole:"Let's focus on the match King". Ken Shamrock vs. Christian Shamrock's skills were put on display in this one as he schooled Christian in mat wrestling. He chose Christian's right leg as his focal point and didn't let up on it. Christian fought his way to a vertical position and used a nice go behind into a reverse ddt, drawing claps from Wakeman at ringside. He then tried to kick Shamrock but Shamrock caught his foot. Christian attempted an enziguri but Shamrock ducked and held onto his foot. He then locked in the ankle lock in the center of the ring and Christian had no choice but to tap out. Match Time: 5:46 Cole:"How impressive was that"?! Lawler:"Wait a minute, look at Trish"! TRISH WAS ON THE ARPON AND SHE PULLED HER PANTS DOWN A LITTLE BIT, REVEALING A BLACK THONG! SHAMROCK's EYES LOOKED LIKE THEY WERE GONNA POP OUT. Cole:"Look at Shamrock, he's mesmerized! Wait a miniute, look out"! JUST THEN, WAKEMAN CAME FROM BEHIND AND BROKE ONE OF HIS CRUCTHES OVER SHAMROCK's HEAD. HE TOSSED THE OTHER ONE ASIDE AND WALKED AWAY WITHOUT THE LIMP HE CAME OUT WITH. Scott Taylor then ran out with the Lightheavyweight belt but referee Tim White stepped in front of him. On the apron, Taylor dropped the belt into the ring. But Rockwell picked it up and drilled the Big Show with it. White turned around as Rockwell covered him to get the win. Taylor ran into the ring and went for a clothesline but Rockwell ducked and hit "Extreme Measures". Scott Steiner appeared in the entranceway with a thick metal bar in his hand. William Regal vs. The Undertaker The Undertaker was not playing any games as he hit Regal with a chokeslam from hell 5 seconds into the match. But he pulled him up after a 2 count. Regal got back into it with some forearm shivers but when he whipped Undertaker into the corner and tried to charge in, the deadman moved, kicked Regal in the stomach and delivered the "Last Ride" for a emphatic win. Let's do it". Van Dam:"Cool". COMMERCIAL.... RETURN FROM BREAK.... Val Venis and Nails vs. Rob Van Dam and Ahmed Walker This was a great tag team main event. The match started with a great series between all 4 men with Walker clothesline Nails out of the ring and RVD hitting Venis with the Rolling Thunder and forcing the NWO to regroup. But moments later, Nails hit Walker with a flying lariat. He and Venis then doubled on Walker and made frequent exchanges, keeping him trapped in their corner. But after catching Venis with a samoan drop, he tagged in RVD. RVD and Venis had a hell of a series with RVD getting the best of him after hitting his back flip into a shoulder block in the corner followed by the split legged moonsault. Then, The Undertaker came down the aisle and pulled Nails off the apron, chokeslamming him on the floor. Meanwhile, after a russian leg sweep on RVD and a powerslam on Walker, Venis held a steel chair over Walker but when he brought it down in front of him, RVD kicked it in his face with the Van-Daminator and Walker covered him and got the pin. Match Time: 16:45 Cole:"Ahmed Walker has pinned Val Venis and the NWO has been defeated"! Lawler:"This time Cole, this time. But remember what I said, no one gets the last laugh on the NWO"!
