SMW Aggression
November 5, 2002
Dan Wilson: "Hello everyone and welcome to SMW Aggression. We have an awesome show for you tonight. The 2,245 fans in attendance tonight and you at home will witness intense action. This is the future of wrestling, we aren't has beens trying to catch a break. So enjoy our athleticism. Enjoy SMW Aggression. We're kicking things off with a Number One Contender Match."
#1 Contender Match The Patriot vs. Monty Brown
These two men have been red hot lately. Both men deserve an SMW title shot, but only one would get it at Aggression VIII. Brown was able to overpower The Patriot in the early going, but he also exhibited his developing scientific game. He was able to hit Patriot with a devastating Russian legsweep. He followed it up by sending his American opponent into the corner with an Irish whip. Monty charged The Patriot but he was able to get his boot up at the last second. The Patriot then attempted an atomic bomb, but The Alpha Male blocked it and hit Patriot with a back elbow. He scooped him up and power slammed him. Monty's pin attempt would only reach a two count. He sent Patriot off the ropes and went for a charging headbutt. Patriot reversed Monty Brown's momentum and hit him with a bulldog. As Brown recovered, Patriot climbed the ropes and launched a Patriot Missile into his opponent to get the pinfall and the right to face the champion at the next show.
Dan Wilson: "Congratulations to the Patriot on becoming number one contender. However, Monty Brown is not out of the title hunt yet. Expect him to rebound and take on the champion as well. Perhaps by then the Patriot will be the champion. I am told that we must send it to Commissioner Al Snow who has a very serious statement to make."
BACKSTAGE
Al Snow: "Good evening. I feel that as an American, I must send my deepest sympathy to those affected by the senseless attacks that took place in the Washington, DC area. It has been brought to my attention that many of the attacks, most specifically the attacks by Crazy Shane, seem to mimic the Sniper attacks. I assure you that these attacks by SMW wrestlers are not used as a way to make fun of a very, very serious situation. However, since Shane's angle and the Shannon Moore attack took place before these very real events, there was no deliberate connection. Once Shannon Moore's attacker is unveiled, there will be very few, if any, attacks even remotely similar to the sniper attacks. I apologize if anyone was offended and I hope you enjoy the rest of the show. Thank you."
Ron Waterman & Damian Steele vs. Fit Finley & Dave Taylor
Waterman and Steele, the new team known as Vicious and Malicious were very impressive in this tag team match. In fact, Damian Steele was able to give Finley a taste of his own medicine. He battered him with punches, kicks, elbows and hard chops. The only way Finley got the upper hand was when Taylor hit Steele from behind as he propelled himself off the ropes. However, when Waterman saw this he entered the ring and charged at Taylor. The match quickly turned into a four way battle. Finley dropped the first bomb, hitting a tombstone piledriver on Steele. He went for the pin but Waterman broke it up. Taylor came charging at Waterman this time but Waterman ran right at him too, hitting him with an exploding elbow. Finley then came to his partner's aid but was clotheslined by Steele. Steele then hoisted Taylor up for a vertical suplex but then nailed a spectacular jackhammer for the victory.
Wilson: "What a great victory for the new team of Vicious and Malicious. It seems as if the youth in SMW is finally beginning to overshadow the experienced trainers. Standing by right now is our new back stage interviewer Jennie Finch."
Backstage
Finch: "Hi. I just wanted to say it is great to be here in SMW. My first interview will definitely be a memorable one. I'm standing here with The Fallen Angel. That's right, the SMW champion himself. There have been rumors that perhaps you are the man that attacked Shannon Moore some weeks back. Is there any truth to that"?
Christopher Daniels: "First of all, you, Jennie Finch are my number one suspect. You came out of nowhere to get this job."
Finch: "Uhhhh!"
Daniels: "Typical woman. But seriously, why me? I mean how about Crazy Shane or Loki. These guys deny it and everyone believes them. How about having some faith in the Fallen Angel. Oh no, I did not cost Shannon Moore the tag team title a few weeks back, but I will tonight. I did not attack Shannon Moore, but I know who did and I promise you, he will be here before Holiday Hell."
Rip Rogers vs. Lenny Lane
Rip Rogers would be accompanied to the ring by his protege Lance Rogers. Rip used every chance he could get to showboat and say to Lance, "This is how it's done." However, every time Rip Rogers was distracted, Luscious Lenny Lane would take advantage of it and bring Rip Rogers to the mat. Eventually, Rip was being dominated by Lane. Unfortunately for Lenny Lane, he was outnumbered at ringside. Rip Rogers demanded that Lance interfere. Lance did what he was told, tripping Lenny Lane with a punch as Lance reached out to him. Rip Rogers got the victory and continued his winning streak.
Dan Wilson: "Clearly Lance Rogers is unhappy with his situation but he is doing what he has to do to keep his job. Rip Rogers is using this very talented man to remain successful but in the end, Rip Rogers will be sorry."
Backstage
Jennie Finch: "Bull Buchanan, tonight you take on two men in a triangle match. This is no doubt your toughest test thus far."
Buchanan: "I agree. But let me make one thing clear, you are looking at the top dog in SMW. I've been sidetracked lately with destroying the SMW trainers. Well, everyone in the locker room got a free pass for over three months. That is all over. I am taking each and every one of you down. It can be one on one, two on one, whatever. The Bull is ready to run loose on SMW. Beware".
Mike Sanders & Mark Jindrak vs. Michael Modest & Paul Diamond
Michael Modest evened the sides with his tag team partner Paul Diamond. Diamond, after teaming with Bobby Eaton in the past showed that he can team with anyone. Diamond dominated Jindrak early on, using skills that he learned in Japan. Once Modest tagged in, he rolled over both men until Jindrak hit him with an uppercut. Sanders then tagged in and nailed a fist drop off the second rope. He went for a pin with an arrogant cover but Modest easily kicked out. Jindrak then came in and began stomping away at Modest. He attempted to send Modest off the ropes, but he reversed it and used a satellite head scissors take down. Modest slowly made his way to the corner and tagged Diamond. Paul Diamond came charging in and took on both men. However, Jindrak and Sanders were able to subdue Diamond. Jindrak hooked on a waist lock and used a German suplex as Sanders clotheslined him at the same time. Jindrak bridged and got the 1, 2, 3.
Wilson: "Wow. I have never seen anything like that. These tow men are going places. Let's take you now to Commissioner Al Snow's office.
Backstage
Bobby Eaton enters Al Snow's office and sits down.
Eaton: "You wanted to see me"?
Snow: "Yeah, I do. Bobby, you have meant a lot to professional wrestling and you have meant a lot to SMW in the past few months. It pains me to know that you will not be stepping in the ring after this year. I've decided that your last match should be at Holiday Hell."
Eaton(smiling): "That sounds good to me. I'd love to be involved in the Bedlam Brawl."
Snow: "Bobby, you're not in the Bedlam Brawl. You're in a special attraction match. I've pulled a few strings and at Holiday Hell, you will be facing the TWF's William Regal."
Eaton: "I couldn't imagine a better opponent."
Snow: "You're in for plenty of surprises at Holiday Hell, you deserve it."
Dan Wilson: "Eaton and Regal at Holiday Hell! That show is shaping up to be a SuperCard."
Crazy Shane vs. Simon Diamond
Crazy Shane tore into Simon Diamond. Diamond had no chance to recover from the constant high flying tactics of Crazy Shane. Additionally, Shane has perfected the use of his sharpshooter early in the match to keep Diamond's offense to a minimum. Ultimately, it would be Shane's Crazy Crash takedown which would end this match. Shane only momentarily celebrated his victory. Then this man on a mission grabbed the microphone.
Crazy Shane: "Earlier tonight, Al Snow compared me to those cowards in Washington. I don't know if you were trying to piss me off but you have. One thing that Snow was right about was that my attacks without warning are unnecessary. This will stop. So let me give you a warning. Al Snow, you're NEXT!" Shane drops the microphone and leaves through the crowd.
An advertisement is shown for Holiday Hell
Dan Wilson: "The impressive action here tonight is nothing compared to Holiday Hell in December. We will witness for the first time, the brutality of the Bedlam Brawl. All of SMW's stars will be involved in that one, including Al Snow. Two men begin in the ring and every two minutes another combatant will enter based on a random drawing. Every five minutes, a new weapon will be introduced. The last weapon, a ladder will be needed to retrieve the contract to compete in the TWF's Royal Rumble. We also learned today that Bobby Eaton's retirement match will be against the TWF's William Regal. Plus, both SMW titles will be on the line. All that and more at HOLIDAY HELL!"
Triangle Match
Johnny Swinger vs. Bull Buchanan vs. Spencer Hollywood
Buchanan and Hollywood have been hot lately, but Swinger was hungry to move up the ladder as well. Based on Buchanan's strong words earlier in the show, Swinger and Hollywood double teamed the big man. This match was a one fall contest, so every nearfall on Buchanan could have been a disaster for him. Eventually, Buchanan would fight back. He took both men down with a double clothesline. Swinger was sent over the top and to the floor. But when Buchanan turned around he was stunned by a Spencer Hollywood double ax handle. He then picked Buchanan up and nailed him with a stun gun move. This began a series of near falls but Buchanan would not stay down. Hollywood slapped on a sleeperhold and Buchanan was nearly unconscious when Johnny Swinger came back in and broke it up. Swinger hit Hollywood with a Swing Thing neckbreaker. He went for the pin and Hollywood kicked out. He immediately went for a pin on Buchanan. Buchanan kicked out with so much force that Swinger landed on Hollywood and attempted yet another unsuccessful pin. The referee could barely keep up with the action. All three men slowly got to their feet. Buchanan hoisted Hollywood and Hollywood hoisted Swinger. All three men crashed to the mat at the same time as a result of the double German suplex. Buchanan was first to his feet. He slowly climbed the ropes and nailed Swinger with a legdrop. He covered his man and ended what has been the match of the night so far."
Wilson: "That was an incredible back and forth contest. Anyone could have won that one. Bull Buchanan appears to be going places real fast. We're going to go back to the ring immediately for our next match."
Keiji Sakoda vs. Nick Dinsmore
Nick Dinsmore was the first man out and he couldn't wait for Sakoda to get to the ring. Once he slid in, Dinsmore wailed away at Sakoda. Sakoda tried to block the punches and forearms but soon he crumbled to the mat. Dinsmore had no intentions of going for a pin. He dove on Sakoda and began choking him. Dinsmore refused to let go. The referee had no choice but to call for the bell. Dinsmore continued his brutal attack. The SMW referees could not break it up. Rob Conway came down and Dinsmore pushed him down. Sakoda escaped the ring with a disqualification victory and a bloody nose.
Wilson: "When did everyone in this company go nuts? Dinsmore has gone off the deep end. Perhaps Sakoda's attack at Fright Night knocked him loopy.
Main Event
SMW Title/SMW Tag Team Title Match
Loki & Christopher Daniels vs. Essa Rios & Shannon Moore
All of the gold was on the line in this match. If Loki and Daniels won the match they would become tag team champions. If Rios or Moore were able to pin The Fallen Angel, he would become the SMW champion. There was plenty of bad blood in this one. Loki and Moore started things out. They immediately traded punches until Moore got the better of Loki. He tagged Rios who came in over the top and kicked Loki on the way down. Shannon Moore came in and hit Loki with a cross body block. He jumped off the top rope but Loki was able to move. Daniels tagged in and knocked Moore down with a jawbreaker. Loki and Daniels then proceeded to wear down Moore. Loki went in for the kill, attempting a shining wizard. Luckily, Moore ducked the move and mustered enough strength to dropkick Loki. Both men crashed to the mat in the center of the ring. Daniels and Rios got the tag at the same time. Rios ran full speed into the Fallen Angel and he countered with a spinebuster on the Latin Sensation. Now all four men went at it. Loki and Moore went at it on the outside. Moore sent Loki into the barrier temporarily incapacitating him. In the ring, Christopher Daniels locked in a Boston crab and was close to getting Rios to submit. However, Shannon Moore climbed the ropes and nailed a blockbuster on Daniels which applied more pressure to Rios's back but also broke the hold. Moore went for the pin and Daniels barely kicked out. Loki returned to the ring and hit Moore with a spinkick. He went for the pin and got a 1, 2 and then Rios broke it up. Rios quickly climbed the ropes and hit Loki with a moonsault. Moore then hit Loki with his own move, the Ki-Krusher and got the 1, 2, 3.
Wilson: "The Sensations have retained their titles. Take a look at them celebrating a hard fought victory. These men battled it out for 21 minutes and...wait a minute...what is going on"?
The camera focused on an arm reaching up through the mat and pulling Essa Rios under the ring. Shannon Moore looked shocked. He looked even more shocked when the culprit emerged from under the ring.
Wilson: "It is Guido Maritato! He was the one who attacked Shannon Moore. I can't believe it"!
Guido attacked Moore with a Sicilian kick and then a DDT. Shannon Moore laid motionless in the ring as Guido shook hands with Loki.
Wilson: "Guido Maritato has made his mark. Sure Guido got the better of Moore, but he will be back! We're out of time. Goodnight everybody"!
