SMW Agression

November 30, 2002

Nashville, Tennessee

Dan Wilson: "As we move closer and closer to Holiday Hell, the tension in SMW gets greater and greater and we love every minute of it. Hello everyone and welcome to SMW Aggression. 1,745 fans are here live to see our jam packed show. We're starting things off with one of our main events."

SMW Title Match

Christopher Daniels vs. The Patriot

It was clear that neither man liked the other, but they showed a great deal of respect. The match began with solid mat work but neither man could gain an advantage. The champion was the first to use underhanded tactics. He was able to move the Patriot's mask slightly, impairing his vision. The Fallen Angel attacked with blow after blow. His moves came so quickly that The Patriot could not defend against them or fix his mask. Finally, Patriot was able to duck a running clothesline by Daniels although it was a mystery as to how he knew it was coming. The Patriot was able to fix his mask and mount a comeback. He nailed Daniels with an impressive powerslam and popped right up to his feet only to come crashing back down with an elbow. However, Daniels moved out of the way and applied a surfboard to the masked superstar. With the fans cheering him on, The Patriot was able to power out of it and then nail Daniels with a cross body block. He hooked Daniels into a full nelson and hit the atomic bomb. The pinfall was unsuccessful. The Patriot had no choice but to go for his top rope finisher, The Patriot Missile. Daniels got to his feet and then staggered a little, falling into the ropes. The Patriot lost his balance and got his leg caught between the ropes which applied extreme pressure to the knee ligaments. The Fallen Angel freed him and went for a figure four leglock. However, The Patriot pushed him off, directly into the referee. Daniels took advantage of the situation. He grabbed The Patriot's flag and nailed him with the pole. He locked in a Boston crab. The referee recovered to determine that The Patriot was out cold and called for the bell, giving Christopher Daniels the victory.

Dan Wilson: "The way Christopher Daniels won that match ruined the twenty-seven minute back and forth battle. The Fallen Angel may still be the champion but perhaps his days are numbered."

As Christopher Daniels was leaving the ring, Loki came from backstage with a microphone.

Loki: "Hey champ, don't go anywhere just yet. You may be the champion, but that does not make you "The Man" here in SMW. I've been a little busy lately with business but I've been watching you. We've been partners in the past, but it is no secret that I don't like you. What I am proposing is that at Holiday Hell, you give me the opportunity that I have deserved for months. What do you say Fallen Angel, I want my shot!"

Christopher Daniels immediately shakes his head, approving the match. Loki continues to stare down at Daniels and then slowly returns backstage.

Lance Rogers vs. Lenny Lane

Lance Rogers was accompanied to the ring by Rip Rogers. Lenny Lane was looking to get revenge for his loss to Rip at the prior show. It did not look like Lane would get revenge, because Lance Rogers dominated with high flying moves. Lance even used brawling tactics after Rip Rogers screamed for him to do so. Lance knocked Lane into next week with a spectacular superkick. However, instead of going for the pin, he listened to the loud instructions from his "forced mentor". Rip Rogers wanted Lance to whip Lenny Lane into the ropes so he could trip him and hold his leg so that Lance could get the win. Although it was obvious that Lance Rogers could have already had the win, he did it. Lenny Lane reversed Lance and sent him into the ropes. Rip did not pay attention to who he tripped. Lenny Lane got the pin and a victory with an assist from Rip Rogers. Rogers entered the ring with a microphone. "Lance, can't you do anything right? We had him! You are a disgrace and an embarrassment. I'm out of here." Rip went to go through the ropes but Lance pulled him back in. The crowd began to cheer for Lance to nail the undefeated loser. However, he just stared at him.

Dan Wilson: Take a look at those eyes. It tells the entire story. Hit him! Make these fans happy!"

Lance Rogers backed off and as he did, Rip Rogers nailed him with a right hand that floored Lance.

Backstage

Jennie Finch: "I'm standing here with Little Gui..."

Guido Maritato(interrupting): "That's Guido Maritato! I am the Sicilian Shooter! And Jennie, I know what you're going to ask me so I'll take things from here. Why? Why Shannon Moore? My answer is simply this, why not? Shannon Moore thinks he is so sensational. Shannon you won't think you are as sensational once we meet at Holiday Hell."

Simon Diamond & Johnny Swinger vs. Mike Sanders & Mark Jindrak

One of the feuds that put SMW and Aggression on the map was reignited in this contest. Swinger and Sanders started things off by trading arm locks and counters. Once they came to a stalemate, Swinger began to dance which infuriated "Above Average" Mike Sanders. Sanders walked up to him and slapped him in the face. Swinger came charging at him but was blindsided by Jindrak. Diamond made every attempt to get in the ring but the referee stopped him, allowing Sanders and Jindrak to double team Swinger. Eventually, Jindrak was left in the ring with Swinger. He tried for a DDT but Swinger hooked the ropes and dove across the ring to tag Diamond. Simon came in and immediately took on both men. Sanders was able to kick him and slow his momentum. Jindrak then attempted a suplex but Diamond blocked it. Diamond then nailed him with the Simonizer. Sanders hit him from behind and again Swinger re-entered the match and hit Sanders with a flying forearm. Simon then used his new finisher, the Simon Series, a series of five consecutive suplexes. As he completed the fifth suplex, Swinger climbed up top and landed on Sanders almost at the same time that Sanders hit the mat. The referee counted the pin and Diamond and Swinger were victorious.

Dan Wilson: "We would love to show you more of the celebration in the ring but there is some type of commotion in the back."

The Commissioner's Office

Dave Taylor: "You don't belong in this office. You don't belong sitting in that chair. Al Snow is not going to be too happy about this when he finds out. You're not even supposed to be in the arena."

The man in the chair turns around to reveal Crazy Shane.

Shane: "Oh really? I don't care what Al Snow likes. He is trying to sabotage my career. Hell, he compared me to a sniper. He's so afraid of me that he didn't book me to appear and he didn't show up. Give Al a message for me. Tell him to stop looking over his shoulder. I will attack him, but it's going to be head on. Hmmm, isn't Al Snow in the Bedlam Brawl"?

Guido Maritato vs. Rob Conway

In Guido's first action since signing with SMW, he looked amazing. Clearly he was in great shape and prepared for Rob Conway. Conway attacked early with a flurry of kicks and head scissors. However, Maritato was able to back Conway into the corner and nail him with a devastating chop to the chest. Conway reacted immediately and turned the tide and nailed the Sicilian Shooter with chops of his own. He then leaped up onto Guido's shoulders to attempt a hurracanrana. Guido was able to hold on and locked in the Sicilian crab. Slowly but surely, Conway made it to the ropes. However, the offense was not over. As Conway got up, Guido ran at him and nailed him with a Sicilian Slice kick. He went for the pin but popped up when he realized that Essa Rios was at ringside. Guido turned his attention to Rios and he would pay for it. The crowd began to roar and Shannon Moore came through the crowd and attacked from behind. The referee immediately called for the bell and these two continued to go at it, with Shannon Moore getting the better of it. Guido retreated and The Sensations stood in the ring with their tag team belts held high as Maritato vowed revenge.

Wilson: "Guido gets the DQ victory. This feud is getting even more intense. I can't wait for Holiday Hell! Still to come, the tag team champions will defend their titles against Vicious and Malicious. That's in our Main Event. Now lets head back to the ring."

Handicap Match

Monty Brown & Bull Buchanan vs. Michael Modest, Paul Diamond & Spencer Hollywood

This match was a clear mismatch. Unfortunately for Michael Modest, Paul Diamond and Spencer Hollywood, the mismatch did not favor them. Buchanan and Brown took the early advantage and did not lose it with the exception of an early triple team on Buchanan which was extinguished by a double clothesline by the Alpha Male on Diamond and Hollywood and a flying tackle onto Modest. Once Buchanan was able to recover, it became a five man brawl. Eventually, Modest was left in the ring with Buchanan and Brown, which was bad news for him. The competitiveness of Buchanan and Brown fueled their aggression. When Monty punched Modest, the big Bull would hit him even harder. The game of "can you top this" was occasionally delayed as they would have to remove their opponents from the action. Monty hit Modest with a battering ram, followed up by a Buchanan legdrop. Buchanan held him up for a spear by The Alpha Male, which was devastating. Buchanan then climbed the ropes and nailed a perfect senton for the pin.

Dan Wilson: "Bull and Brown just annihilated three men and they don't even like each other. Imagine what they could do if they actually continued to team and could get along. Only time will tell if we see these two in the ring together again."

An advertisement is shown for the upcoming Holiday Hell event

Dan Wilson: "We anticipate unbelievable action at Holiday Hell. No one can suprise you more than the talent we have here at SMW. Lets run down the card as we know it. Of course, in our main event, a chance for a shot to compete at this year's Royal Rumble is on the line. The Bedlam Brawl is one step beyond the brutality of a typical Royal Rumble. Every two minutes a new competitor enters the ring and every five minutes a new weapon is introduced. The last weapon will be a ladder, which is needed to retrieve the contract for the Royal Rumble. In yet another dream match, The Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels will defend the SMW title against Loki. Holiday Hell will be our last chance to see Bobby Eaton in the ring when he takes on TWF superstar William Regal. We heard earlier today that Guido Maritato will face Shannon Moore. Also, the tag team titles will be on the line. All that and much more at Holiday Hell. For more information, tune in to SMW Special Edition, hosted by myself and Jennie Finch. Check your local listings. Now lets head back to the ring."

Loki vs. RC Haas

Loki took it right to his larger opponent. He took him down almost immediately with a series of kicks followed by a bulldog. Haas would next use Loki's momentum off the ropes to hit him with a gut wrench suplex. He then hoisted him up and sent him straight down on his knee for a gut buster. After picking Loki up, Loki used a jab to the throat to stop RC's momentum. The referee got in Loki's face but he brushed him aside and hit RC Haas with a shining wizard. Next up was a ki-krusher. Loki then slapped on an impressive leglock similar to Eddy Guerrero's lasso. Haas submitted immediately.

Dan Wilson: "Loki has just sent a message to the champion. He knows submission also and could very well use submission to take The Fallen Angel's belt. We thank you for joining us for yet another jam packed show. Once again, we're running low on time so lets get back to the ring."

No Disqualification Match

Keiji Sakoda vs. Nick Dinsmore

Once the bell rang, Dinsmore went at Sakoda. However, Sakoda immediately used a kick to Dinsmore's head. Dinsmore crashed to the mat like he had been shot. The referee rushed to Dinsmore's side and determined that he was unfit to continue. In fact, he was unconscious. He called for the EMTs to assist Dinsmore and awarded the match to Sakoda with the help of his brass knuckle-like foot gear.

Main Event

Tag Team Title Match

Vicious and Malicious vs. Shannon Moore & Essa Rios

Ron Waterman and Damian Steele proved that they belonged in main event caliber matches. This relatively new team used quick tags and cut off the ring to isolate Rios. Waterman nailed him with a neckbreaker. He went for a pin but Shannon Moore came in to break it up. Steele charged at him but Moore leap frogged him and dropkicked him from behind, sending Steele into the corner. Rios tried to get to the corner for a tag but Waterman was able to regain control. Waterman settled into an armbar but eventually Rios would punch his way out of it. Rios came off the ropes but was nailed to the gut with a knee. Waterman tagged Steele. He went up top and leaped using a flying elbow, which missed the mark. The Latin Sensation crawled towards his corner and finally got the tag to Shannon Moore. Moore came in and took on both men. He dropkicked both men and used a satellite headscissors on Steele. He next climbed to the middle rope and used a blockbuster on Waterman. The referee tried to get one of Vicious and Malicious out of the ring. While distracted, Guido Maritato came out and whacked Moore with a chair. He battled with Essa Rios on the outside. Waterman lifted Moore into piledriver position and Steele came off the top rope to make it a spike piledriver. Steele went for the pin and got the 1, 2, 3 to become the new tag team champions.

Dan Wilson: "An unbelievable finish to an unbelievable match. We've got new tag team champions and Guido has returned the favor for the sneak attack by the former champions. We're on our way to Holiday Hell. Join us for Special Edition soon"!
