SMW Agression

January 31, 2003

Nashville, Tennessee

The show begins with the cameras scanning the crowd of 1,421 screaming fans.

Backstage-Comissioner's Office

Al Snow: "Good evening. In an effort to ensure that you, the fans, get as much entertainment as possible, I am ordering that the match between SMW champion Loki and Keiji Sakoda has absolutely no interference. Furthermore, if anyone interferes they will be suspended and face possible termination. Also, I have signed a number one contender submission match between Crazy Shane and Guido Maritato. Due to the magnitude of the match, I have assigned Dean Malenko to be the special referee. Believe me, that is just the tip of the iceberg. Enjoy the show."

Tag Team Title Match

Simon Diamond & Johnny Swinger vs. The Future Foundation

Rob Conway and Simon Diamond squared off in the middle of the ring. The champions took the quick advantage with Diamond getting his opponent in a side headlock. Diamond walked him into the corner and Swinger slapped him in the face. This move infuriated Nick Dinsmore who came around the ring and pulled Swinger off the apron, smacking his face on the apron. However, the damage was being done to Conway in the ring. Diamond nailed him with a back suplex and followed it up with several elbow drops. Swinger tagged in and kicked at Conway. He then spit at Dinsmore. Dinsmore attempted to enter the ring only to be stopped by the referee. This allowed Simon and Swinger to double team Conway. Diamond remained in the ring after faking a tag. He slammed Conway and then dropped a knee on the bridge of his nose. He went up top but missed with a legdrop after Conway moved. Both men were slow to make a tag but were able to. Dinsmore charged across the ring and punched away at Swinger with fists of fury. Johnny Swinger countered with a lowblow and a Swing Thing neckbreaker. Diamond tagged in and Swinger set up for the Swingshot. Swinger propelled Dinsmore towards Diamond. Dinsmore was able to counter the clothesline with a clothesline of his own. Both men went down. Johnny Swinger got to his feet only to be shocked by his partner's condition. Swinger would join his partner on the mat when Conway nailed him with a missile dropkick. Everyone was down as the ref counted but Conway got up before the ten count. He lifted Diamond up for a cradle piledriver, which drove his head straight into the mat. He covered him but Swinger broke it up at the last split second. Next, Conway and Dinsmore used their finisher, the Hart Attack clothesline. Dinsmore spit on the fallen Swinger and pinned him to become the new tag team champions.

Dan Wilson: "The future is now! Conway and Dinsmore are our champions. What an unbelievable way to start our show. As you remember, at Holiday Hell, The Patriot won the Bedlam Brawl to get a shot in the TWF's Royal Rumble. The Patriot returns tonight. Lets take a look at what he's been up to."

A video is shown beginning with highlights of the Patriot's victory at Holiday Hell followed by his intense training and trip to Japan. Afterwards, a clip is shown of The Patriot competing in the Royal Rumble.

The Patriot vs. Mark Jindrak

The long awaited return of the Patriot had the crowd on their feet. However, they would be quieted early on. Mark Jindrak was the aggressor early on. First he dropkicked The Patriot and then he took him down with a headscissors. Jindrak followed it up by jumping over the ropes and propelling himself onto The Patriot for a bodysplash. After an unsuccessful pin attempt, he choked the American Icon. The ref broke the hold but Jindrak put an armbar on the Patriot only to be stunned by two elbows and a shoulder block. The Patriot then hoisted Jindrak up for a tigerbomb. Jindrak kicked Patriot in the ankle which had The Patriot hobbling for the rest of the match. Jindrak put him in a full nelson but The Patriot powered out and reversed the hold. This was bad news for Mark Jindrak. The Patriot lifted him up for an atomic bomb. The Patriot pinned him and was victorious in his triumphant return.

Wilson: "The American Icon is back and better than ever. It is only a matter of time before The Patriot is back in the title hunt. Right now, lets send you to Lance and Rip Cade."

Lance Cade: "Rip, we've been working at getting you better for several weeks and I've seen some great improvement."

Rip Cade: "Thanks man."

Lance Cade: "But I think your improvement has gotten to your head again. Tonight, we are going to bring you back down to Earth. I have a special guest tutor for you. Jimmy come on in."

Rip: "Oh no!"

Lance: "Jimmy, teach him everything you know. Teach him everything he taught you."

Jimmy proceeds to punch at Rip Cade until he goes down. He then stomps away at him.

Jimmy: "You taught me that Rip. You called it the Boston crab. I call it revenge."

Lance Cade: "OK, that's enough. Rip, I think you're ready to return to the ring at Aggression XII. So fans get ready to be thoroughly entertained at Aggression XII...and you'll also get to see Rip Cade in the ring."

Dan Wilson: "Well, I guess a month and a half without Rip Cade is better than no break at all. Right now it is time for Breakdown to enter the ring and take on both Monty Brown and Bull Buchanan."

Handicap Match

Breakdown vs. Bull Buchanan & Monty Brown

The match began with Brown and Buchanan double teaming Breakdown. The attack had little effect. Breakdown fought back with a double clothesline, sending The Bull and Monty to the mat. Breakdown then scooped up Buchanan and press slammed him out of the ring and to the floor. He turned around to meet a spear by The Alpha Male. However, Breakdown quickly got to his feet and put Monty Brown in a suffocating bearhug. As Monty Brown had the life squeezed out of him, Vicious and Malicious charged the ring. Damian Steele hit Breakdown with a chair to break the hold. Next, Ron Waterman suplexed the big man. The former tag team champions then teamed up to clothesline Breakdown to the outside. As Breakdown attempted to get back in the ring, Mike Sanders emerged from under the ring and nailed Breakdown from behind with a double axhandle. He followed it up with a 4.0. Suddenly, Essa Rios came in the ring from the crowd and executed a perfect Asai moonsault onto Breakdown. However, it was not over. Fit Finley, Dave Taylor and Paul Diamond ran to the ring to triple team Breakdown. Finally, Spencer Hollywood came in and nailed him with a reverse DDT. Still, Breakdown was getting up. However, this time Bull Buchanan and Monty Brown hit him with Singapore canes simultaneously. Brown covered him for the win.

Dan Wilson: "Finally, SMW has united to defeat this rookie monster. Even the referee took Al Snow's advice. There is no way he didn't see the interference, he chose to ignore it. But make no mistake about it, it took eleven men to beat Breakdown. When it is one on one, this man is still unstable and unstoppable. Earlier we spoke about The Patriot returning from Japan. Now we are going to take a look at an SMW wrestler who was honored to be sent to a Japanese dojo."

A clip is shown of Michael Modest training in Japan and wrestling top Japanese wrestlers. Modest was also shown meeting the legendary Antonio Inoki.

S...O...L....U...T...I...O...N

Steve Bradley vs. Lenny Lane

After making another grand entrance, Steve Bradley was ready to make his in-ring debut. At first, Bradley did not live up to his billing as Luscious Lenny Lane scooped him up and slammed him. He followed that up with an arm drag. Bradley was furious and rolled to the outside. The Solution was distracted by the fans. Lane came from behind and sent Bradley back into the ring. Bradley kicked Lane as he returned to the ring. He then pounded away at him. After an Irish whip into the corner, Lane leaped over him and rolled Bradley up. However, The Solution held on and nailed Lane with a reverse powerbomb. This was the beginning of the end for Lenny Lane. He executed a perfect death valley driver and got the win.

An advertisement is shown for The Future of Wrestling Tournament.

Dan Wilson: "That's right. After the success of Holiday Hell, SMW is proud to present The Future of Wrestling Tournament. This will be an eight man one night tournament. The show will take place in March. Already announced for the tournament is the current SMW champion Loki. All of the competitors will be announced at SMW Aggression XII."

Number One Contender Match Submission Rules

Crazy Shane vs. Guido Maritato

Special Guest Referee: Dean Malenko

The match began with both men having different philosophies. Crazy Shane started out with brawling tactics, attempting to pound his opponent into submission. Guido picked a body part and worked it over. As the match progressed, the amount of submission holds increased. First, Shane tried a dragon sleeper but Guido slipped behind him, grabbing Shane's arm for a chickenwing. After minutes of working on the arm, Shane was in intense pain for this move. However, it became clear that Shane would not give up. Maritato released the hold and began elbowing at the injured arm. Crazy Shane went to the outside to shake off the pain but Guido Maritato went right after him despite Dean Malenko's objections. Shane sent Guido into the railing. He then put The Sicilian Shooter into the ring near the post and from the outside, Shane put a bow and arrow on him around the ring post. Guido was screaming in pain and had no way to get out of this move. However, Guido would not give up and this frustrated Shane. He got up and climbed the ropes for a 450 splash. Unfortunately, Maritato moved out of the way. Guido then wrapped him up for the figure four leglock. Shane was now screaming out in agony but he put every effort into reversing the hold, which he did. Guido felt intense pain but was able to grab the ropes. Crazy Shane would not let go. Dean Malenko immediately stepped in to break the hold. Shane got in his face and they began shoving each other. Dean pushed Crazy Shane right into Guido who grabbed his arm and drove Shane into the mat and yanked back on his arm for a fujiwara armbar. Shane was right in the center of the ring but clawing and scratching towards the ropes. Both men were exhausted. Guido sent Shane off the ropes and attempted a dropkick but Crazy Shane held the ropes. Crazy Shane grabbed his legs, hooked him up for a sharpshooter. Guido was in extreme pain. He scratched and clawed to get to the ropes but right when he was about to get to the ropes, Shane let go, dragging the Shooter back to the middle of the ring. Crazy Shane then pointed at Malenko and put Maritato in a Texas cloverleaf. Guido could not stand the pain. He tapped out and Crazy Shane was victorious.

Dan Wilson: "Crazy Shane is going on to take on the champion. He is the number one contender. We just witnessed twenty-nine minutes of great wrestling. Unbelievable. But if you thought that action was great, up next we have the continuing Shannon Moore/Fallen Angel saga."

2 out of 3 Falls Match

Christopher Daniels vs. Shannon Moore

First Fall

The first fall was nearly over before it began. The Fallen Angel wrapped him up in a small package and got a quick 1, 2, 3 and a one fall advantage.

Second Fall

After a sixty-second rest period, Shannon Moore still looked stunned by the quick pinfall. Shannon Moore attempted a crossbody block but Daniels ducked it and leaped onto Moore and hooked his leg for a two count. In a matter of moments, Daniels almost beat the Sensational One twice. After settling down, the two men tied up in the middle of the ring. Shannon Moore backed Daniels into the corner and chopped him. He then whipped him into the other corner. Moore came charging at him but Daniels moved out of the way. Shannon Moore hit the turnbuckles sternum first. Christopher Daniels hooked him up for a backslide. Moore kicked out again. Shannon Moore got up and then drove The Fallen Angel face first into the mat with a facebuster. Moore then used a slingshot to send the former champion crashing to the floor. Shannon Moore took advantage of this by leaping out on Christopher Daniels. Afterwards, he grabbed onto the back of The Fallen Angel's head and punched at him repeatedly. Moore rolled him back in and nailed Daniels with a blockbuster and covered him for a three count to tie the match.

Third Fall

Shannon Moore did not waste any time in beginning the final fall. The two competitors went at it during the rest period. Christopher Daniels played to his strength by using more of a submission style. First he used a backbreaker to soften up Shannon Moore's back. Then he locked in the camel clutch. Unfortunately for Daniels, Moore was right next to the ropes and the hold had to be broken. The Fallen Angel then set up Moore on the ropes and climbed up, possibly for a top rope frankensteiner. However, Shannon Moore sunset flipped over the top and powerbombed Daniels. Moore kept Daniels stacked up for the pin but only got a two count. Both men were exhausted after twenty-six minutes of action. As The Fallen Angel slowly got up, Sensational Shannon Moore used his spinning neckbreaker. He went for the cover but Daniels kicked out at the last possible moment. Shannon Moore went for a suplex but in his exhausted state, he could not lift Christopher Daniels. Daniels hooked him up again for a small package but Moore kicked out this time. Shannon Moore tried to send Daniels into the ropes but Christopher Daniels reversed it. Shannon Moore leaped onto the ropes and went for the Halo but Daniels moved. He dropped an elbow onto Shannon's back. Then he hooked him up for an Indian deathlock. Shannon Moore got to the ropes but was defenseless when Daniels DDT'd him out of nowhere to get the 1, 2 , 3.

Dan Wilson: "The Fallen Angel emerges as the victor. However in my eyes and the eyes of the fans, this one was even. That first fall does not show me who the better man was. This one is still not over."

Main Event

SMW Title Match

Keiji Sakoda vs. Loki

This match began with Loki kicking Sakoda squarely in the jaw. He then backed up Keiji Sakoda in the corner and began kicking him from head to toe. Sakoda appeared to be out on his feet. Keiji Sakoda dropped to the mat and Loki leaned over to pick him up. Sakoda then spit red mist into Loki's face. Blinded, Loki wisely rolled to the outside to clear his eyes. Keiji Sakoda went out after him and thrust chopped Loki right in the throat. Now Loki was gasping for air. They got back in the ring and Loki nailed Sakoda out of nowhere with a superkick. Sakoda went reeling into the corner, perfectly set up for Loki's hand spring kick. Loki went for it but Sakoda got out of the way and then clipped Loki's knee from behind. This effectively reduced the amount of kicks Loki would be able to land. Sakoda then moonsaulted off of the second rope onto Loki and got a two count. Just then, Crazy Shane appeared at ringside. Remember it is illegal for anyone to interfere in the match. The match continued but Loki remained distracted by Shane's presence. Next, Commissioner Al Snow appeared at ringside and began warning Crazy Shane. Keiji Sakoda went for the roaring elbow but Loki moved out of the way. Loki then used the Ki-Krusher to wipe Sakoda out for the win.

Dan Wilson: "Loki is still the champion. That means Crazy Shane will take on Loki at the next show. Lucky for him, he did not interfere in the match."

Al Snow was still arguing with Crazy Shane on the outside.

Steve Bradley vs. Essa Rios

The Patriot vs. Guido Maritato

Bull Buchanan & Monty Brown vs. Mike Sanders & Mark Jindrak

Rip Cade in action Wilson: "Oh no! It's Breakdown"!

Breakdown came from behind and began choking the life out of Al Snow. Meanwhile, Crazy Shane entered the ring and battled it out with an exhausted Loki. Breakdown then hit Snow with the "In the End" right on the floor. Snow was out cold and as soon as Breakdown moved the doctor and several EMTs came out to rush an injured Al Snow to safety. Now Breakdown and Crazy Shane were double teaming Loki. Crazy Shane went up top and nailed the champion with a 450 splash. Then the 290 pound rookie monster went up top and used a corkscrew swanton bomb. Crazy Shane grabbed the microphone.

Shane: "You have just entered the Psych Ward! Right now it's just me and the big man but the Psych Ward is filled with lunatics and the demented. Loki, I'm taking your belt!"

Shane held the belt high as an evil, yet familiar laugh filled the arena.
