SMW Aggression 12

Nashville, Tennessee

February 15, 2003

The show begins as the camera focuses on a plaque that says Commissioner. Then the camera moves up to show Dean Malenko.

Malenko: "Good evening and welcome to Aggression. Due to the recent attack on Al Snow by Breakdown, Al Snow cannot be here. Al Snow suffered several internal injuries and will not be able to maintain the day to day operations of this organization. Therefore, I, Dean Malenko will be interim Commissioner. I will run SMW as I see fit with absolutely no restrictions. In my first order of business, I signed Shannon Moore to meet Christopher Daniels inside of a steel cage. Also, I have decided that Breakdown and Crazy Shane must be punished for their actions. I cannot remove Shane from his title match tonight but Breakdown will not be allowed to compete. Also, The Psych Ward has been removed from the Future of Wrestling tournament. Thank you and enjoy the show."

Lance and Rip Cade came to the ring and Lance grabbed the microphone to announce Rip Cade's opponent.

Lance Cade: "Rip, I found the meanest, toughest S.O.B. I could possibly get to wrestle you."

Rip: "Then I guess you didn't find him in Nashville because no one is tough here."

(Crowd boos)

Lance: "Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome...Jimmy the Jobber".

Rip Cade vs. Jimmy the Jobber

Rip Cade looked fearful of the Jobber but attacked him once Jimmy stepped though the ropes. The Jobber did counter with several hip tosses and punches. After a thumb to the eye by Rip, Jimmy's offense was slowed. Rip Cade kneed Jimmy the Jobber in the back, driving him into the turnbuckles. Next, he punched him several times. Rip Cade signaled for the superkick, Lance Cade's finisher. However, his superkick only reached the midsection of Jimmy. Rip covered him for a much needed win. Next, Lance Cade came in the ring and shook Rip's hand. They both turned to Jimmy the Jobber and began stomping away at him. Finally, they stopped and hugged in the center of the ring.

Dan Wilson: "Disgusting. I don't know when they planned this but Rip and Lance Cade set up Jimmy the Jobber. I thought there was legitimate heat between them. They fooled us all."

Backstage

Ron Waterman is shown approaching his tag team partner, "The Real Deal" Damian Steele.

Waterman: "Hey Damian, what's up?"

Steele: "I'm actually still trying to figure out why we aren't wrestling tonight."

Waterman: "I know the reason. Damian, for the past few days I have been trying to get out of my contract and have reached a deal with GWF. I'm leaving."

Steele: "No way man, we're a team, Vicious and Malicious! Our time will come if we are patient here."

Waterman: "Damian, it's a done deal. I can't turn back now. Do you want me to put in a good word for you when I get there"?

Steele: "No thanks. I'd rather make it in the TWF chain. Everywhere else is just not the same. But good luck."

Waterman: "I appreciate that. I will never forget our partnership."

The two shake hands. Ron Waterman goes to leave but Damian Steele holds on and pulls him back.

Steele: "Someday, our pathes will cross again.(Waterman smiles). And when that day comes, I will get my revenge on you! (Waterman's smile turns to a serious glare and the two men stare at each other.

Damian Steele is shown, with him, emotions boiling inside.

Steve Bradley vs. Essa Rios

These two great athletes had the typical back and forth contest. Essa Rios took control with his lucha style but Steve Bradley kept up with him. Bradley then would out muscle Rios using a bodyslam and a back suplex. Rios was not frustrated at all and took down Bradley with a legsweep. He then hopped up and took Bradley down with a satellite headscissors. The move sent Bradley to the outside. Rios jumped out on him using an Asai moonsault. Rios then rolled him back in for the trio moonsault, one moonsault from each rope, starting with the bottom. However, on the third attempt, the Solution got his knees up. Bradley then dropped an elbow off the middle ropes. He followed it up with a gutbuster. After continuing to work on the ribs and midsection of the Latin Sensation, The Solution lifted Rios up for a death valley driver. Having his wind knocked out of him, Rios could not kickout of the pin and The Solution Steve Bradley was once again victorious.

An advertisement is shown for The Future of Wrestling Tournament coming in March.

Dan Wilson: "That's right, the Future of Wrestling Tournament is one of the biggest nights we ever had. It will be a one night tournament to determine who will be the Future of Wrestling. Here are the first round matches. The current SMW champion, Loki, will take on Guido Maritato. Sensational Shannon Moore squares off against Keiji Sakoda. The Solution will compete against the returning Michael Modest and Christopher Daniels will take on an intense "Real Deal" Damian Steele. All that and more as The Future will be determined at The Future of Wrestling tournament in March."

Bull Buchanan & Monty Brown vs. Mike Sanders & Mark Jindrak

The Bull and the Alpha Male continued their reluctant partnership by taking on "Above Average" Mike Sanders and Mark Jindrak. Jindrak and Buchanan began the match with Buchanan getting the upperhand. However, Bull charged into Jindrak only to be slapped in the face with a boot. Jindrak applied a side headlock but Buchanan grabbed on to his waist and sent Jindrak into Mike Sanders. Sanders and Monty Brown tagged in. Above Average demanded a test of strength. However, Sanders used a go behind to grab Monty around the waist. He tried to push Monty into Buchanan just like it had happened earlier but The Alpha Male would not budge. Monty Brown then backed Sanders into the corner. Mike Sanders was now caught in no mans land. Monty hit him with a barrage of elbows and knees. Once he was finished, Sanders stumbled out of the corner and fell face first on the mat. Buchanan then tagged in and legdropped Sanders from the top rope. He went for the pin but Jindrak broke it up. Jindrak stayed in the ring to batter Buchanan. Eventually, Monty Brown would come to the aid of his partner and clotheslined Sanders and Jindrak simultaneously. Sanders got up and Brown speared him. Jindrak got up and Brown speared him. Then he turned around and Brown speared Bull Buchanan. He covered Sanders and got the 1, 2, 3.

As Monty Brown celebrated, Buchanan got back to his feet and immediately got in his partner's face. They began shoving each other. The referee tried to break it up. Then they both grabbed the ref and ordered him to do something. Soon after the bell rang.

Dan Wilson: "Apparently this is an impromptu match. Bull and Monty are getting it on."

Bull Buchanan vs. Monty Brown

The two big men exchanged severe punches to the head and body. Monty Brown came out on top with a scoop slam and then a knee drop. He then nailed Buchanan with an Alpha Bomb. Instead of going for a pin, he grabbed a kendo stick and attempted to cane the Bull. However, Buchanan managed to move out of the way and rolled out to the floor. He hooked the leg of Monty Brown and pulled him to the outside. The battle continued as Bull Buchanan sent Monty Brown's head bouncing off the ring post. The referee continued his count and called for the bell. Bull and Monty continued to fight despite the double countout.

Dan Wilson: "Those two big men need anger management. They can't even get along after a win. I don't want to see them when they lose as a team. I'm sure we haven't seen the last of those two in the ring together. Fans, lets take another look at what Michael Modest has been up to in Japan."

A video package is shown chronicling the tour being made by Michael Modest. He is shown wrestling Jushin "Thunder" Liger in the Tokyo Dome.

Dan Wilson: "As reported earlier, Michael Modest will return to the states at The Future of Wrestling tournament."

The Patriot vs. Guido Maritato

This match pitted The Sicilian Shooter against The American Icon. Guido still seemed upset about The Patriot getting the slot in the Royal Rumble instead of him. During the early stage of the bout, The Sicilian Shooter went to work on the right arm of The Patriot. He then dropkicked Patriot, focusing the pain on his arm. The Patriot landed in the ropes with his arm slung over the top. Guido took advantage of this and wrenched away at the arm against the rope. He then leaped over the top and pulled down on The Patriot's arm. Patriot was screaming out in pain. Guido locked in the fujiwara armbar. The Patriot had no choice but to tap out.

Wilson: "Wow. He just beat the Patriot! I would call that a mild upset. The doctors are now taking a look at The Patriot's right arm. This is not good."

Just then Guido Maritato came back to the ring and put The Patriot in even more pain when he used The Sicilian Slice on the arm.

SMW Tag Team Title Match

Simon Diamond & Johnny Swinger vs. The Future Foundation

This match was a rematch from Aggression XI. Johnny Swinger and Rob Conway began the match in the ring but it would soon spill outside the ring similar to the action seen earlier between Bull Buchanan and Monty Brown. Eventually they got back in the ring and soon after that all four men were going at it in the ring. Once the referee restored order it was Simon Diamond in the ring with Nick Dinsmore. Dinsmore elbowed Diamond in the jaw. He then wrapped him up for a Code Red armbar. Diamond reached out and tagged Swinger without Dinsmore knowing it. He came in and laid on top of Dinsmore for a two count. Swinger then pump handle slammed Dinsmore. By this time Diamond was ready to tag in once again. He did just that and used a Simonizer on his opponent. He went for the pin but got only a two. He once again tagged Swinger to go for the Swingshot. However, Conway hit Diamond from behind and then dropkicked Swinger. He waited in his corner until he got the tag and went wild on both men. The ring became a site for nonstop action. Dinsmore found the strength to lock in Diamond for a series of his own. Unfortunately for Diamond it was a series of piledrivers, three in a row. He covered Simon Diamond and the tag team champions successfully defended the titles.

Steel Cage Match

Shannon Moore vs. Christopher Daniels

The cage was lowered immediately and SMW's most heated rivalry continued. Daniels started things out with a series of clubbing forearms and stiff elbows. He tried for an irish whip but Shannon Moore reversed it, sending Christopher Daniels into the cage face first. Daniels got up and revealed that he was already bleeding. Daniels blocked a dropkick but could not counter the legsweep. Moore attempted an elbow but Daniels moved. He got up but Sensational Shannon Moore took him down with a satellite headscissors. Daniels then held on and put Moore in a headlock. The crowd cheered after the series of moves. However the cheers would turn to boos when the Fallen Angel began to rake Shannon Moore's face against the cage. Now both men were wearing the Crimson Mask. Daniels kicked away at him. He then lifted him up and powerbombed him. Next, Daniels went for a backdrop. However, Shannon Moore was the first to get up. He went to the top rope and executed a blockbuster. Moore went for the cage door but the fans began to boo. He pointed up and the crowd cheered. Shannon climbed to the top of the cage and hit Daniels with the most awe inspiring halo that anyone had ever done. Shannon himself was in severe pain. However, he crawled to the cage door and slid out to get the win.

Dan Wilson: "That cage match was unbelievable! I have got to say that Shannon Moore may have just pulled ahead in this intense feud. Lets take a look at an advertisement for our upcoming events.

An advertisement is shown for SMW Future of Wrestling tournament in March and then an announcement saying that SMW is going on the road.

Dan Wilson: "Wow, SMW is going on the road! Tune in to SMW Special Edition hosted by Jennie Finch and myself soon for more details. Also on Special Edition, we will look at the eight entrants in the Future of Wrestling tournament and have two exclusive matches. Now lets go to the ring for our main event."

Main Event

SMW Title Match

Challenger... Crazy Shane vs. Loki

One of the most anticipated matches in SMW history began with Crazy Shane kneeing Loki to the stomach and throwing him to the outside. Shane gave him no time to recover as he immediately jumped out on the champion. Crazy Shane continued the pain by hammering away at the champion's head. Shane rolled him back in and attempted to splash him from the top rope. However, Loki knocked him down and superplexed him to the mat. Both men absorbed intense pain on the landing. Loki got up and kicked away at Shane. The final kick was explosive and Shane collapsed on the mat again. Loki went for the pin but got only a two count. Loki went for a powerbomb, but Crazy Shane slipped out and nailed Loki with a facebuster. Shane quickly hooked the legs for a sharpshooter but Loki pulled him down and hooked him into a standing figure four leglock. Crazy Shane screamed out in pain but reached out to the ropes before tapping out. Loki tried for a spinkick but Shane moved out of the way and then DDT'd Loki into the mat. After a suplex, Shane climbed the ropes and executed a perfect 450 splash. He then pinned Loki but he kicked out. He then went up top again and perfected another 450 splash. He did it a third time and Loki kicked out at the last moment. Crazy Shane went to the outside and set up a ladder in the ring. He stomped Loki a few times and then climbed to the top of the ladder. He leaped down for a 450 splash but Loki moved out of the way. Next Loki went to the outside and grabbed a chair. He wrapped it around the head of Shane and placed him in the corner. The somersault kick rang out after it hit Shane in the head. He collapsed on the mat. However, Loki did not go for the pin. He was interrupted by Breakdown who chokeslammed him straight to the mat. The referee called for the bell, giving Loki a DQ victory. Breakdown climbed up top and hit a corkscrew swanton bomb on Loki. By this time, Shane was up and pounding Loki with the chair. Breakdown lifted him up and drove him back down with "In the End".

Crazy Shane: "You see Loki, I just proved to you and everyone else that I am better than you. Breakdown is better than you. It's called Psych Ward supremacy. We're unstoppable. Anytime, Anybody, anywhere..."

Breakdown grabs the microphone
