SMW Aggression

April 23, 2003

Nashville, Tennessee

"Alive" by P.O.D. hits, and out walks the new owner of Smokey Mountain Wrestling Garrett Sandeen!

Sandeen: Welcome ladies and gentleman, to a brand new era of SMW! It's time we make a few changes around here, and Aggression, will be taken to a new standard. But let's not forget the reason you have all come here. So without further or due, here is our first match up!

Simon Diamond vs. Lance Cade

Both men were trying to help their teams get a tag title shot at the Future Foundation, and felt this singles match, would help their team along the way. Cade took the quick offensive with a dropkick that knocked Diamond down. He followed up with an irish whip to the corner. He came charging in, but caught nothing but turnbuckle. Diamond kicked Cade in the stomach, and hit the Simon Series. He went for the cover, but only got a two count. He brought Cade up, and called for the Simonizer. But Cade sensed it coming, got in an undetected lowblow. He waited for Diamond to get up, and when he did, he blasted him with a Superkick. But instead of going for the cover, he went to the top rope, and landed and Diamond's head with a leg drop, and got the 3 count!

Dan Wilson: And with an undetected low blow, Lance Cade has gotten a much-needed victory! We now take you the new Owner's office!

Al Snow and Sandeen are talking in the Owner's office

Snow: You called me sir?

Sandeen: Yes, I did. You've been gone for the last two shows, due to an attack suffered by Breakdown. This has brought to my attention, the fact that you don't give everyone, a fair chance at a shot. You showed that to me when you tried to have Breakdown arrested because of his past. And you tried to bring Shane down as well. As of this moment you are relieved of your duties as commish.

Snow: So I'm fired!? After All I've done for this business!?

Sandeen: No, I didn’t say that. Instead, you will wrestle, and you will wrestle like everyone else. You are no longer apart of this staff! Now I suggest you leave this office and prepare for your next match!

Snow: Against who!?

Sandeen: Against a man, who wants your job!

Dan Wilson: WOW! I'm speechless! Al Snow has just become an employed wrestler for SMW! We have to get to our next match.

Lenny Lane vs. Keiji Sakoda

Both these men were experiencing tough times going into this event, and each one of them wanted to impress the new owner. Sakoda opened up the match with kicks to the stomach. He followed that up with a leg sweep. He went for the cover, but only got a one count. He went up to the top rope, and went for a missile dropkick, but Lenny swatted it away. He lifted him up and dropped him a reverse DDT. Lane went for the cover, but got a two count. He called for something big, and he set Sakoda up for a tornado DDT, but Sakoda threw him away. Lenny tried to get up, but Sakoda blasted him with a kick to the side of the head to put him away.

Dan Wilson: Oh my lord! He just sent Lane into next week with that kick! Well, The action is non stop here, we go on to our next match!

Tag Titles: The New Foundation vs. Bull Buchanan and Monty Brown

Since this was a tornado tag match, all four men were in the ring. And this was also a no disqualification match-up. Brown took on Dinsmore, while Bull took on Conway. Bull and Brown used their strength to take control early. Bull tossed Conway to the outside, and started kicking him into the barricade. Inside the ring, Brown put Dinsmore into a Gorilla Press, but Dinsmore slipped off, and hit a neckbreaker. Realizing he wasn't going to win with his strength, he slid out side, and set up a table inside the ring. Bull tossed Conway over the barricade and came into the ring with a chair. He looked as if he was going to hit Dinsmore but he swung at Brown, but he ducked and Dinsmore! Brown the kicked the chair right into Bull's face! Brown turned around to Dinsmore, he picked him up, and Alpha Bombed him through the table! He covered him, and new tag team champs were crowned!

Backstage

Dan Wilson: I can’t believe it! These two who have beaten respect into each other for the past month, have won the SMW tag team titles! Lets take you backstage, where we go to Garrett Sandeen’s office!

Sandeen: Daniels, you won the future of wrestling tournament. And all I can say is, wow!

Daniels: Thank you sir.

Dean Malenko enters

Malenko: You called me?

Sandeen: I called you guys in here, to talk to you about the opportunity of a lifetime! Daniels, how would you like a shot at the big time. And how would you Dean, like to revamp the Light heavyweight division?

Back to ringside

Dan Wilson: What the heck was that about? Anyways, we have to move on to our next match, and what a match this is shaping up to be.

Shannon Moore vs. Spencer Hollywood

Shannon came so close to winning the Future of Wrestling tournament, but he was looking to get back on track against the veteran, Spencer Hollywood. Hollywood took the advantage quick by sticking a thumb into the eyes of Moore. He followed up DDT and went for the cover, but got two count. He brought him up and clotheslined him back down, Shannon struggled back to his feet, as Spencer went for another DDT, but Shannon blocked it and amazingly jumped over for the "Moore-Gasm" he went for the cover, but Spencer kicked out. Shannon went up top, looking for the Halo, but while the ref was checking on Spencer, Xavier came running down and tripped up the unsuspecting Shannon, who was left in an awkward position. Spencer capitalized by hitting a sleeper slam from the top rope! He covered Shannon and got the 3 count to pull the upset.

Dan Wilson: What an upset. It was Shannon who eliminated Xavier from the tournament, I guess he was getting some revenge! It’s time for our undecided main event! Let’s go to ringside.

Al Snow vs. Mystery Opponent

Snow was in the ring, waiting for his opponent to come out. When out of the curtain came Dean Malenko! He came charging into the ring, ready to take out some serious beef on Snow. He came in with some rapid fire punches. But all this brawling from Dean was going away from his usual plan of taking out his opponent’s legs. He kicked Al in the gut, and was looking for his double under hook powerbomb, but Snow got out of it with a back body drop. Malenko got up slowly and when he did get up, he blasted him with a shuffle side kick. Snow went up top and landed a picture perfect moonsault. He went for he cover, but only got a two count. Al called for the Snow Plow, he picked him up, but Dean slipped off and kicked him in the stomach, he took a step back, and he landed a calf kick right on the money. He went for the cover, but only got a two count. Frustrated, he set him up again for the powerbomb, yet again, Al saw it coming, and slipped out of it. He kicked him in the gut, and hit the Snow Plow. Before he could make the cover, Sandeen came out, and he distracted the ref. While this was going on, Christpoher Daniels came through the crowd, and smacked over the head with a steel chair. When the ref turned around, Dean had his hand over Snow, and he was pinned.

Dan Wilson: What’s this? It’s as if these guys have formed some sort of alliance has been formed between these three. And they aren’t stopping.

MALENKO WAS RECOVERING IN THE CORNER WHILE SANDEEN AND DANIELS TAUNTED SNOW. DANIELS BROUGHT SNOW UP AND HIT HIM WITH A ROLLING REVERSE DDT THAT HE CALLS "LAST RITES". MALENKO GOT BACK UP, AND HE PUT SNOW IN A DOUBLE UNDERHOOK POWERBOMB. HE THEN WENT FOR THE TEXAS CLOVER LEAF, AND AL SNOW WAS TAPING AS THE SHOW ENDED.
