The show starts with a brand new opening with an SMW video montage and new theme song "Bring me back to life" by Evanesence. The shot goes live to Dan Wilson at ringside.)
Dan Wilson: "Hello everyone and welcome to SMW Aggression and before we get started, lets go backstage where we have a press conference going on"!
The scene shifts backstage where Shane McMahon can be seen in front of a podium with all of the SMW locker room in attendance.
Shane McMahon: "I wanted to thank all of you for coming here tonight both the members of the press and those here in SMW. Now I will make this as brief as possible since we do have a show to run so down to business. Affective early this morning, Garrett Sandeen stepped down as head of the SMW.
All the wrestlers are shocked as the photographers snap pictures.
Shane "But after a brief interview, I have found his replacement and due to his constant service to the TWF, I felt he'd be a good selection for the temporary head of the SMW until further notice and he is Joe Diano".
The press begins snapping photos as the wrestlers begin talking amongst themselves while Diano shakes hands with Shane.
Joe Diano: "Thank you Shane. As Shane said, I will make this as brief as possible since we are in the midst of our show. I will simply say I look forward to working with all of you here in SMW and the only thing I have to make known is simply that everyone will have a fair shake in SMW and that is my word to each and every single wrestler here in this room. But bottomline is, from now on and as long as I am in charge, everyone will earn their place here or they won't have one and now gentlemen, enough talking, it's time to wrestle. Thank you".
The press confrence ends as everyone begins to leave and the shot goes back to ringside.
Dan Wilson: "There you have it folks, one of the young men that has done a lot of backstage work for the SMW is now acting head of the SMW until further notice and he has stated basically no more free rides. Let's go to the ring"!
Johnny Swinger vs. Michael Modest Modest started right out from the opening bell with several chain wrestling moves using several side headlock takeovers and a amazing triple rolling suplex. Swinger managed to land backwards behind Modest, reversing a body slam attempt and landing his combination cobra clutch into a side russian legsweep. But when he went for a cover, he only managed to get a two count which upset him so he picked Modest up and slammed him back to the mat and got onto the second rope in the corner and executed a guillotine leg drop and once again went for the pin only getting a two count which upset him even more but as he went to lift him up, Modest rolled Swinger up into a small package and scored the upset win.
Simon Diamond came out but before he could get him, Modest slid out of the ring leaving Swinger in shock.
Wilson: "What a win for Michael Modest and you have to consider that a bit of an upset! Let's go back to Jennie Finch who is with, I believe the new head of the SMW right now, Jennie".
(backstage in Joe Diano's office)
Jennie Finch: "Thanks Dan. Mr. Diano, I understand you have an announcement"?
Diano: "Please Jennie, call me Joe and as far as my announcement goes, the Future Foundation has been called up to compete on PrimeTime and due to this, the SMW tag team titles are vacant. And in the next few weeks, I will put together a tournament to crown new tag team champions and until then, as you can see,(points to the bookshelf in the corner) the belts will remain here in my office until the finals of the tournament".
Finch: "Also, I was curious if you will be making any changes to anything that your predecessor did"?
Diano: "Well, as I said earlier, or at least I tried to imply, I am just going to sit back and see how things go and when and if I see something isn't up to par, then I will be making changes. But as I did say earlier Jennie, everyone will earn their place here in SMW or they won't have one".
Finch: "Thank you, Dan back to you at ringside".
(shot switches back to ringside)
Wilson: "Thanks Jennie, let's go back to the ring for some more action".
In the ring Bull Buchanon and Monty Brown are shown with a mics.
Bull Buchanon: "Ya know, we have been off of this show for so long ever since we lost our tag team titles, which we will have again, but fact is we're tired of sitting in the back watching! So we decided to come participate. Tell them Monty".
Monty Brown: "That's right! So we are sending a challenge to any team or two guys to come out here and face us"!
After a few minutes, "Kronik" hit as Brian Adams and Bryan Clark made their way to the ring to a huge pop.
Bull Buchanon & "The Alpha Male" Monty Brown vs. Kronik This was a mismatch from the start with Adams and Clark jumping on Buchanon and Brown from the opening bell. Adams knee lifted Brown in the gut and bench pressed him over his head and he then tossed him over the top rope to the floor. Clark clotheslined Buchanon to the mat and waited for him to get up and landed the "Meltdown" then he and adams waited for him to get up and as soon as he did, Kronik proceeded to execute the "High Times" for the win.
Wilson: "What a debut for Kronik with a dominant win over former tag team champions Bull Buchanon and Monty Brown! Let's head back to the ring for our next match"!
Rip Rogers vs. Xavier This was a classic case of youth vs. experience and Rogers showed his experience from the outset when he motioned for a handshake to start the match up but instead he thumbed his younger opponent in the eye and hit a ddt on him but managed only a two count. As Rogers gloated to the crowd, his younger opponent capatilized and quickly booted rogers in the stomach and landed his new finisher he called the "Hangover" for the quick win.
Wilson: "Man that has to be one of the quickest matches in the history of SMW! Rip Rogers made the mistake of underestimating his opponent and he got hit with the move I am told Xavier calls the Hangover which Rogers may have after that move"!
Backstage in Joe Diano's office.
Movers are seen moving out the old furniture and in the new stuff as Shannon Moore knocks on the door.
Diano: "Oh Shannon, come on in. Forgive the chaos, I'm still getting settled in".
The two shake hands.
Shannon Moore: "No prob, you wanted to see me"?
Diano: "Yes, I understand you are still banged up from your title win. As a matter of fact, so are the others. Which is why Bradley and Patriot are not here this week. But with Daniels gone, I will need you to pick up a lot more of the load around here, no pun intended! So I need you here next week".
Moore: "Hey, I'm SMW champion so you betcha bottom dollar I'll be here. So who will I be facing"?
Diano: "Well, I know you still have the pulled muscles in your back so it's gonna be easy, you find a partner and you'll face Xavier and Spencer Hollywood".
Back at Ringside.
Wilson: "What a match that should be, but as the new boss just said, following the match last week there where several injuries in that match with Shannon Moore. Our new champion suffered two pulled muscles in his lower back and Steve Bradley a concusion. But The Patriot was the worst for ware, suffering a stinger after the death valley driver that eliminated him from the match. Well it's now time for our main event"!
Spencer Hollywood vs. Lance Cade This match saw a much different Spencer Hollywood as he attacked Cade from the start, kneelifting him in the stomach and executing a gutwrench powerbomb but only managed to get a two count which seemed to upset him but as he picked Cade up he got met with a series of rights to the side of the face. Cade then wound up for another right but Hollywood sidestepped him right into his Sleeper Slam for the win.
Hollywood then got the house mic.
Spencer Hollywood: "As everyone knows, we have a new world champion and his name is Shannon Moore. Well as everyone also knows, I beat him right before he won that title so Moore, I know we got this little tag team match next week but I'm tossing out a challenge to you for a shot at the belt! What do you say champ"?
After a few seconds, Shannon Moore limped his way out.
Moore: (before he can speak, he is blasted from behind with a knee to his injured back by Xavier who rolls him into the ring.
Both Hollywood and Xavier double team Moore, targeting his injured lower back with several kicks and were about to set him up for a double powerbomb until out from the back came new comer Recon Rage who cleared the ring of both men as he leaned over the downed Moore.
Wilson: "We need some help out here, Shannon Moore is in pain! We'll see you next week fans"!
As security comes down with the medical staff to check on Moore, the show comes to an end.
