(“Warrior” by Lloyd Banks, the new theme for SMW Aggression is played, while a new video is shown, this one featuring all of the new additions to the roster, such as Max Ogden, Violent P, and Chris Sabin. From there, a huge pyro display goes off, signaling the start of the biggest SMW show so far this summer.)
Dan Wilson: Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to SMW Aggression.
James Robinson: That’s where you are wrong Dan, because this is not Aggression. Tonight is SMW’s Night of Champions. Tonight we will see every title in SMW defended, including the SMW Championship, which will be decided in a Leather Strap Match inside of a Steel Cage!
Dan Wilson: But before we get to all of that, we have to find out who is going to face Mariner later tonight for the Television championship.
Semi-Final Match of the SMW Television Championship Tournament
Xavier vs. Chris Sabin
Both of these men start this match off going full throttle. It is obvious that both men realize that they will have to wrestle again later in the evening in order to win the TV Championship. Xavier goes on the offensive in the corner, stopping Sabin with a knee to the gut. He goes on to put Sabin in an armbar, but he can’t get his opponent to tap out. He goes on to kick Sabin in the gut, and then he runs off the ropes. He goes to hit Sabin with “The Hangover”, but Chris moves out of the way. Sabin picks Xavier up for the “Future Shock”, but he rolls out of it and sets him up for the “X-Breaker”, but Sabin rolls out of that too and this time connects with the “Cradle Shock” for the win.
Winner: Chris Sabin
James Robinson: Well, it looks like Xavier will not have the chance to regain his championship tonight, because that distinction is going to go to Chris Sabin!
Dan Wilson: Later tonight, we will see if the future is now, as Chris Sabin will attempt to keep his undefeated streak alive against Mariner. Don’t go anywhere though folks, because when we get back, we will have the first of our three title matches of the night!

(Backstage, Jennie Finch is standing with Matt Stryker.)
Jennie Finch: Welcome back folks, Jennie Finch here and I am standing here with Matt Stryker. Matt, only a few weeks ago, you went to a draw with then-Television Champion, Xavier. From there, you dropped two matches to Chris Sabin, who later tonight will face Mariner for that same title. What are your thoughts about the Mini Tournament that President Corey set up?
Matt Stryker: I have no problem with the tournament. Honestly, I liked the idea, because it gave me the chance to avenge my loss to Chris Sabin, get a victory over Xavier, and then win the title from Mariner. Unfortunately for me, I came up on the short end of the stick against Sabin, and now it is him who will face Mariner later on tonight.
Finch: Are there any hard feelings between you and Sabin, or do you wish him luck in his title quest tonight?
Stryker: I have no hard feelings. Chris beat be twice, and he did it clean. As for wishing him luck, I have to because I have respect for him, and I really hope he pulls off that victory tonight, because that way when I finally get that win over him, it will be for the SMW Television Championship.
(A video package is then shown, showing highlights from last week’s Fatal Fourway Tag match, pitting Adrenaline, Hollywood & Bradley, Diamond & Swinger, and Kronik against each other to earn a shot at the tag champs. The package ends with Kronik standing in the ring victorious. Back at ringside, the team of Kronik, Brian Adams and Bryan Clark are standing in the ring, awaiting the SMW Tag Team Champions.)
SMW Tag Team Championship Match
Jake Diamond & Dylan Page (c) vs. Kronik
The challengers looked to be dead set on taking home the gold and right off the bat, they go after the champions. Bryan Clark gets Dylan Page trapped in the corner, and he just uses his power to weaken the Nashville native. Clark tags out to Adams who takes Page down with his patented gut wrench backbreaker. In the opposite corner, Jake Diamond is doing his best to get the crowd to rally behind Page. It seems to work as Dylan starts to work his way out of the head vice that Adams has him in. Page gets free and connects with a barrage of right hands to the head of Brian Adams, and then he backs up to deliver a haymaker. He goes in for the kill, but Adams hits him with a huge boot to the face. However, the impact sends Page into his own corner where he makes the tag to Jake Diamond. The tag champion enters the ring and sends Adams to the mat. He then runs across the ring and nails Clark, sending him off the apron. Diamond mounts Adams and starts to wear his head out until Clark got back into the ring and nailed him from behind. Both members of Kronik then setup Jake Diamond to hit him with “High Times”, but as he is in the air, Dylan Page spears Bryan Clark. Jake Diamond used his momentum as he came back down to his feet to hit Adams with “Southern Justice” to retain the titles.
Winners: Diamond & Page

Dan Wilson: We are back here on Aggression folks, and it is now time for this week’s update on former SMW President, Joe Diano. Roll the footage guys.
(The shot opens inside the TWF training facilities where Joe Diano is shown with the SMW trainers.)
Al Snow: Ok, now remember, a headlock into a take down.
Joe Diano: Okay.
(The trainers teach Diano to do basic stuff for a few hours, and then they move onto something new.)
Dave Taylor: Okay Joe, push down on the ankle and push up at the knee.
Diano: Right!
(This time the trainers show the proper way to apply certain submission holds and they are pleased as Diano seems to be catching on quickly.)
James Robinson: From the looks of things, Joe Diano had a good reason to resign his post as the President of SMW. He seems to have a real talent inside of the ring, and hopefully we will see that play out in the SMW Arena sooner rather than later.
Dan Wilson: I think that is the thought that is going through the mind of a lot of people right now. We are going to go down to the ring where Jennie Finch is waiting to hold a very special interview.
(Jennie Finch is standing in the ring, microphone in hand.)
Jennie Finch: As all of you loyal SMW fans know, over the last couple of weeks, both Max Ogden and Violent P have been going after each other though the other’s matches. This is why at this time, both of these men are being asked to come to this ring.
(“Inner Vision” by System of a Down plays and Max Ogden comes to the ring to a huge ovation. Violent P’s music follows and he comes down to the ring.)
Jennie Finch: Gentlemen, let me say right off the bat that there is to be no contact between the two of you. This confrontation is to try to get to the bottom of how this tension between you two started.
(Ogden and Violent P get nose-to-nose, and Jennie can’t do anything to get in between them. Just then, “Lying From Me” by Linkin Park hits and the SMW President, Joe Corey, comes out to the ring. He enters the ring, grabs the microphone from Jennie Finch, and gets right in the middle of Violent P and Ogden.)
Joe Corey: Alright, that is going to be just about enough from the both of you! Jennie, you can go to the back, I am going to handle this, once and for all.
(Jennie Finch leaves the ringside area, and Joe Corey forces the two men to distance themselves from each other, as Ogden goes to one corner and Violent P goes to another.)
Corey: Okay, now for the last couple of weeks, you two have been making my job extremely hard, and I have had it up to here with it. Now Violent P, you tell me what is going on to have gotten you to start this whole thing.
Violent P: I have told you people why I hate Max Ogden. I came here to SMW to make an impact, and before I was given that opportunity, that shot was given to Ogden, who came in here after me. When was it going to be my turn?
Max Ogden: Maybe it will be your turn once you finally win a damn match!
Violent P: That would have been last week, if it hadn’t been for you coming in and blasting me with that chair. And who are you to say anything to me, the only win you have came with the help of the SMW Champion!
Ogden: The last time I looked, I was the one who picked up the win in that match. And no matter how you want to look at it, a win is a win, and that’s still one more than you have.
Violent P: You listen to me you son of a…
(Violent P charges at Ogden, but Joe Corey steps in his path.)
Joe Corey: That’s it dammit, this is going to end! Next week, you two are going to go at in this ring! I don't care what happens, but there is going to be a winner. And to make sure that neither of you make any new friends over the next week that want to get involved, I am barring everyone from ringside. And I am also putting a No Contact clause into this match. That means that you two are not allowed to touch the other one or you will be fired from SMW! And just to make sure that there is no cheap actions taken, it is at my discretion as to what I think physical contact is, because I am not going to fire anyone for bumping into someone else! So I recommend that you two spend the next week preparing, because this match will take place, no matter what!
(Joe Corey leaves the ring, and Violent P and Max Ogden get face to face. The fans can tell that P is trying to provoke Ogden into hitting him, but it isn’t working. From the entrance way, President Corey’s voice is heard.)
Joe Corey: Oh, and one more thing for both of you to know. This match is going to be an SMW Street Fight, which means it will be No Holds Barred!
(Corey goes to the backstage area, and he is followed by Max Ogden, who seems to be overjoyed by the last stipulation added by the President. Violent P is shown standing in the ring, emotionless.)
Commercial Break
(TWF Primetime, only on Fox)
Dan Wilson: It has been some night here on Aggression, and we still have a lot more to come. For those of you who just tuned in, Chris Sabin has advanced to face Mariner later tonight for the SMW Television Championship, Jake Diamond and Dylan Page retained their titles against Kronik, and Max Ogden and Violent P just stood toe-to-toe in that ring, the same ring they will both be in next week when they finally face off in an SMW Grudge Match!
James Robinson: And honestly Dan, if it wasn’t for the presence of President Joe Corey in the ring as well, I feel that match would have started tonight. And speaking of President Corey, he made a blockbuster announcement last week, and just to refresh your memory, here it is again.
(The announcement made last week by President Corey about the 2ND Chance Series airs again, and then James Robinson is shown again.)
Robinson: Over the next four weeks, we will have those qualifying battle royales here on Aggression, and it is now time to see the first one, and I think all of you fans will be excited to see who the first four invitees are, let’s go to the ring!
2ND Chance Series Qualifying Battle Royal
Kidman vs. Rikishi vs. Mideon vs. Boogie Woogie Man
The four former stars pair up. Rikishi pairs with Mideon and Kidman with Boogie Woogie Man. Kidman gets the upper hand and tries his best to eliminate Boogie, but Mideon nails him from behind. Mideon then goes on to put the boots to Kidman in one corner, and at the same time, Rikishi runs and crushes Boogie Woogie Man in the corner. Rikishi gets Boogie up on the ropes, and Mideon sees this and comes to aid Rikishi, making Boogie Woogie Man the first person eliminated. Kidman runs and dropkicks Mideon, who goes over the top rope, but lands on the apron. Kidman doesn’t see this and goes to work on Rikishi, firing right hands to his forehead. Kidman backs up to gain some momentum, but he is grabbed from behind by Mideon, who sends him over the top rope and crashing to the floor. Rikishi gets to his feet and meets Mideon in the middle of the ring, where the two trade right hands. Rikishi starts to get Mideon to back up, but he is hit by a low kick that doubles him over. Mideon irish whips Rikishi into the corner, but misses a follow up clothesline. He recovers enough to turn around, but he is met by Rikishi, who crushes him into the corner. Rikishi backs and sets himself, waiting for Mideon to get up. Once he does, Rikishi goes for a side kick, but Mideon ducks it and hits a clothesline, the momentum of which sends Rikishi to the floor, and the match is over.
Winner: Mideon

James Robinson: Welcome back folks, it is almost time for our SMW Championship match, but before that, we have the finals of the Mini-Tournament for the SMW Television Championship. Here is a look back at how this entire thing started out and what has transpired since.
(The footage starts with Matt Stryker and Xavier walking to the ring, and then goes to footage of their TV Title match weeks ago that ended in a draw. It then goes on to play the audio of Stryker saying he wanted a rematch with Xavier for the TV title over the footage of him being pinned by Chris Sabin. The audio is then repeated over the footage of Mariner pinning Xavier for the TV title later that night. Joe Corey is then shown making the announcement about the Mini Tournament for the Television Championship, and then the victories by Chris Sabin over Matt Stryker and Xavier are then shown. The video ends with a shot of Chris Sabin with his “Hail Sabin” pose, as a scene of Mariner holding up the Television Championship is imposed next to him, setting up the match.)
SMW Television Championship
Chris Sabin vs. Mariner (c)
Mariner comes into the match looking very confident in his first title defense. At the same time, Chris Sabin looks to be very confident as well. The bell rings and the two men lock up. Mariner pushes Sabin to the ropes, and gives a clean break. They lock up again, but this time, Sabin pushes Mariner to the corner. Sabin goes to give a clean break, but Mariner hits him with a cheap shot that rattles him to the mat. For the next ten minutes, both men have moments of offense, but for the most part, Mariner weakens Sabin with a reverse chinlock. Sabin fights out and sends Mariner to the ropes, but he misses a clothesline and ends up being the one sent to the mat. Mariner sets Sabin up for what seems like a piledriver or powerbomb, but Sabin rolls over the shoulder of Mariner and rolls him up, but only gets a two count. Mariner goes to pick up Sabin, but at the last minute, Chris Sabin scoops up Mariner and connects with the “Future Shock” and hooks the leg for the three count. Winner, and NEW SMW Television Champion: “The Future” Chris Sabin
Dan Wilson: And the winning streak continues! He has been in SMW for less than a month, but “The Future” Chris Sabin has already won gold here, as he is the new Television Champion!
James Robinson: I don’t know about you Dan, but if you ask me, the future is most definitely now!
(Backstage, Austin Plavljanich, Spencer Hollywood, and Steve Bradley are shown pumping up Recon Rage.)
Austin Pyromania: Now listen to me very closely Recon. This match is the most important one you have had in your career. This is not about Shannon Moore, this is about the SMW Championship. That title is the pinnacle of Smoky Mountain Wrestling, and tonight, it becomes yours. Don’t worry about the cage or the strap, just focus on touching all four corners. We all know that Moore will not be able to weaken you to the point where you can’t stop him from getting around that ring. You know he is going to try to use his speed, so make sure to use that strap to your advantage, because it will limit him. That strap will make it so that he can only get so far away from you, and make sure he doesn’t. Now go out there and make us all proud.
(Recon Rage leaves the locker room and Plavljanich, Hollywood, and Bradley get set to watch the title match on a monitor in the locker room.)
Commercial Break
(TWF presents Meltdown, only on Pay-Per-View, featuring “The Show” Joe Corey against Shelton Benjamin)
(When SMW Aggression returns, a set of spotlights are focused on the Steel Cage, when begins to lower to the ring. Recon Rage’s music then hits, and he makes his way to the ring. Shannon Moore then comes to the ring, the SMW Championship title around his waist. With the steel cage now completely surrounding the ring, the referee gives both men an end of the leather strap, and forces them to attach it to their left wrists. The referee then signals for the bell, and the match is on.)
Leather Strap Match inside of a Steel Cage
SMW Championship
Recon Rage vs. Shannon Moore (c)
The two men lock up, and Recon Rage sends Shannon Moore crashing to the mat. Moore seems to realize that he can’t match power with the challenger, and hits a boot to the gut before the next lock up. Shannon hit a couple of boots to Rage’s back, and then he ran off the ropes. Rage collected himself and took the champion down with a huge clothesline. Seemingly forgetting the rules of the match, Recon starts to climb the cage to escape, but about three-quarters of the way up, he was pulled down by the strap attached to his and Moore’s wrists. Shannon takes that opportunity to start touching the top turnbuckles. He gets to three and goes to the fourth, but Rage pulls on the strap, turning Moore around and plants him with a DDT. From there, Rage started to use the cage to his advantage. He sent Moore into the cage several times, and then starts to grate his forehead on the fence. With the champion now lacerated, Rage goes to each corner. After two corners, Moore charges at Rage, stopping his succession. The two men start to trade right hands, but it is Rage who gets the advantage with a knee to the gut. Rage sends Moore to the ropes and hits a huge clothesline, the momentum of which sends Moore crashing to the mat with a twisting 360° flip. Recon Rage starts to touch each of the corners, but does not realize that Shannon Moore is touching them right after he does. After three corners have been touched by each man, Moore pulls on the strap, and Rage realizes that he is not the only one who needs one more turnbuckle. A tug-of-war starts, with Moore trying to stop Rage from touching the corner and Rage trying to win the match. At the last second, Moore gives one last tug and then charges at Rage. Moore jumps to reach for the turnbuckle, but Recon Rage catches him and sends him crashing to the mat with a spinebuster. He then falls backwards into the corner and the referee rings the bell.
Winner and NEW SMW Champion: Recon Rage
(Recon Rage is presented the SMW Championship as Spencer Hollywood, Steve Bradley, and Commissioner Plavljanich run to the ring. Hollywood and Spencer raise the new champion on their shoulders, and Austin looks to be happier than any of them. From the back, President Joe Corey walks out, and he is shown clapping for Rage. Plavljanich sees this and has a huge smile on his face.)
