Footage is shown recapping Lethal Lottery, including scenes from the 2nd Chance Series, the SMW Tag Team Championship match, Battle Bowl, and the SMW Championship match. From there, the events chronicling the debut of Joe Diano, Commissioner Plavljanich substituting Carney for Violent P, and President Corey’s involvement in the main event. The video ends with Corey presenting the SMW Championship to the new titleholder, Max Ogden. From there, the opening pyro goes off and Dan Wilson and James Robinson are shown at the announce position.

Dan Wilson: Welcome everyone to this week’s edition of SMW Aggression, and after Lethal Lottery, nothing is going to be the same!

James Robinson: That’s right Dan, and tonight is going to be the first night under our new SMW Champion. Also at Lethal Lottery, we had an altercation with the participants in our first match. Here is what we are talking about!

Lethal Lottery Rewind

(Backstage, “The Submissions Man” Ted Huntsman is being shown having some promotional pictures taken of himself. Surprisingly, the X Division championship belt that belongs to Slaughterhouse is on a table in front of him. Shane Starr is then seen walking in, and he has a perplexing look on his face.)

Shane Starr: What the hell is going on here? What’s with all the cameras?

Ted Huntsman: I was asked to take some promotional pictures for SMW. I guess they are looking to use me as one of the faces of the promotion.

Starr: Is that right? Well, if they are looking to make you one of the faces of SMW, why is Slaughterhouse’s X Division title being used in them as well?

Huntsman: You got me man. They just asked me to come here in my gear and take some pictures. I am guessing that they want to get some with me and the X Division title for if I ever go to Slaughterhouse.

Starr: Oh, I see how it is. You have been here for like a month, and you are already looking to make it to a main roster. Well let me tell you something man. I have been here for over a year now, and if anyone is going to be getting a chance to become the X Division champion, it’s going to be me.

Huntsman: Look, I don’t want there to be any trouble. I am just doing my job.

Starr: No, your job is in that ring, and if you want to do it right, then maybe I can help. How about next time on Aggression, you and I have a match, to see who really deserves to one day fight for the X Division championship?

Huntsman: That is fine with me, I will see you next week.

(Shane Starr leaves the locker room as Ted Huntsman refocuses on his task at hand.)

Dan Wilson: Those events have led us to our opening contest, Shane Starr vs. Ted Huntsman.

“The Submissions Man” Ted Huntsman vs. Shane Starr

This is a fast paced match that in the early on is controlled by Starr. After about five minutes, Huntsman starts to stage a comeback, and eventually hits Shane Starr with a T-Bone Suplex to pick up the victory.

Winner: “The Submissions Man” Ted Huntsman

James Robinson: Well, it looks to me that all of that praise we are hearing about Ted Huntsman is well deserved. That was a great match.

Dan Wilson: I have to agree with you. It is only a matter of time before one of the TWF General Managers decides to call this young man up. Don’t go anywhere folks, because we still have the Aggression debut of former SMW President Joe Diano to come tonight!

(Check out the TWF Royal Rumble, only on Pay-Per-View)

As Aggression returns, “Lying From You” by Linkin Park and Jay-Z hits and SMW President Joe Corey makes his way to the ring with a huge smile on his face. Alexis Laree, who is carrying his TWF King of Cable title, accompanies him. Corey gets into the ring and grabs a microphone.

Joe Corey: Tonight is the start of a new era here in SMW. Since I came here, there has been a great void between what is and what should be. I have been looking at this promotion, and I had a sense that something was missing, but I just couldn’t put my finger on it. That was until a little before the start of Lethal Lottery. I realized that the void was connected with the SMW Championship. I got to thinking that since I came here, I have had no control over that title. First it was Shannon Moore, and nothing against him, but he was not at the standard that I felt my champion should be. Then it was Recon Rage, who was too far under the control of my overbearing commissioner. There was no way that I could break him down to get away from the commissioner, so I decided that the only way to gain control was to get the title onto someone else. From there, I brought in some SMW guys to take on Carney on TWF Rampage, and one of them stood out to me, and I approached him with a proposition, one that he couldn’t refuse. That man is here tonight, and I am proud to introduce him to you now. Ladies and gentlemen, accompanied by Satan’s Son, the new SMW Champion…MAX OGDEN!!!

“Inner Vision” hits and Max Ogden comes out with the SMW Championship belt around his waist. Satan’s Son follows him to the ring, where Corey and Ogden embrace, followed by a handshake between Satan’s Son and Corey. Ogden then takes the microphone.

Max Ogden: Thank you Mr. Corey for that wonderful introduction. Let me first say that it is an honor to be a champion under your tutelage. For years, I have been working towards this day, and now that it has come, I have to say that it is not what I thought it was going to be. It is so much better than what I had imagined.

Corey: It never is Max, trust me. Finally getting what you want is so much better than you can even begin to think of. Just ask Alexis, right hunny? (Alexis smiles and nods her head) And now that that step is done, it is time to move on to the next one. That step is three weeks from now, live from the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island. On that night, we are going to be having our next SMW Supershow, entitled SMW Reincarnation. We are going to reinvent the wrestling industry, with me at the helm and Max Ogden and Satan’s Son at my side. Speaking of Satan’s Son, tonight you are going to take on a former SMW Television Champion, Mariner, with the winner going on to face Chris Sabin at Reincarnation.

Max Ogden: That isn’t the only thing that is going to make Reincarnation an important night. That is because that night I am going to make my first SMW Championship defense, and not a moment sooner.

“Violent P’s Music” hits and a very angry Violent P makes his way to the ring, grabbing the microphone right out of Max Ogden’s hand.

Violent P: As much as we have had our problems in the past, I didn’t want to come out here and ruin this moment for you, but that statement just isn’t going to sit well with me. You see, if not for me, you may not have made it to the second round of the Lethal Lottery, and if it wasn’t for travel problems, I would have been right there with you at Lethal Lottery, not Carney. I feel that I deserve the first shot at that title, and I want it tonight!

Ogden: You little basta…

Corey: Just a second Max, he may have a point. It is unfortunate that you could not make it to Lethal Lottery, and you are right, you were robbed of your chance to become the SMW Champion. That is why you will receive the first shot at Max’s title…it just won’t be tonight. That match is something that I can market and promote. That is why Max Ogden’s first title defense will be against Violent P at Reincarnation. Now, moving on…

Corey is interrupted as “Always” hits and Commissioner Plavljanich walks out to the entranceway along with Recon Rage. The crowd has a mixed reaction towards them as well.

Austin Plavljanich: Joe, I am sorry to interrupt you, but Violent P is not going to be the first person to gain a title shot at Max Ogden. You see, it is customary for the former champion to receive the first shot at the gold. That may not have been the case with Shannon Moore, but I took the liberty of making sure that within Recon Rage’s contract, he has that clause.

Ogden: Hey, if your boy wants a title shot, that can be arranged in the future.

Plavljanich: Well, there may be a problem with that. You see, in the contract, it does not state that Recon Rage gets a title shot at the champion. In fact, it states that I get to choose when, where, and who receives that title match. That is why, after conferring with Recon Rage, we have decided that President Corey, you deserve to see someone other than Recon face Max Ogden for the SMW Championship. We want to give you the kind of match that you will find worthy of SMW.

Corey: I think I know where you are going boys, but I am sorry to tell you that Satan’s Son has no interest in challenging Max Ogden for the SMW Championship. (Satan’s Son nods his head) Therefore, back to Reincarnation.

Plavljanich: Not so fast Corey, that is not what we decided. What we have decided on will be official, and you have no say in the matter. Max Ogden will defend the SMW Championship…tonight…against CARNEY!!!

Inside the ring, Joe Corey, Max Ogden, and Satan’s Son are livid, while Violent P looks angered by the decision.

Oh, and Violent P, don’t worry, because your title match at Reincarnation is not in jeopardy. You will still face the champion in three weeks, no matter who it is. Have a good night boys.

“Always” hits again and Commissioner Plavljanich and Recon Rage return to the locker room, while the President, Champion, and Satan’s Son still remain shocked in the ring.

Commercial Break

(Pick up “Friday Night Lights”, now available on DVD)

Dan Wilson: Welcome back to Aggression folks, and boy did we just have a blockbuster announcement.

James Robinson: That’s right Dan, and a blockbuster it was. Not only did President Corey announce that Violent P will receive a shot at the SMW Championship at our next supershow, Reincarnation, but Commissioner Plavljanich announced that Max Ogden will defend his newly won SMW Championship against Carney right here tonight!

Wilson: We also found out that later tonight, Mariner will face Satan’s Son, with the winner facing Chris Sabin for the SMW Television Championship. And speaking of Sabin, he is going to be in non-title action, right now.

Non-Title Match

Mr. Vain vs. Chris Sabin (c)

Mr. Vain starts to over power “The Future” right from the opening bell. Sabin tries to gain an advantage with his speed, but it doesn’t last too long, as Vain just sends him back down to the mat with a powerslam. Vain goes to finish off Sabin with a powerbomb, but at the last second Sabin scoops his legs out from under him and catapults him into the corner. Vain stumbles around, only to be hit with the “Future Shock”, giving the TV Champ the victory.

Winner: Chris Sabin

From the back, Violent P runs to the ring and blindsides Chris Sabin from. He then drops him to the mat with a Pedigree as Mr. Vain returns to his feet. Violent P and Mr. Vain continue their attack on Chris Sabin, until Mariner comes out from the back and makes the save. Mariner yells at the attackers, calling them cowards as they walk back up the ramp.

Dan Wilson: It looked to me that Chris Sabin wasn’t going to make it to Reincarnation, but he ended up being rescued by Mariner, a man who could be his challenger that night in Providence. We will have to see if that happens later on tonight. We will be right back folks, don’t go away!

Commercial Break

(TWF: The Music, coming soon to the TWF Mall!!!)

When SMW Aggression returns, "Enter Sandman" by Metallica hits and Joe Diano comes to the ring in his wrestling gear and an SMW t-shirt to a good reaction.

Dan Wilson: Ladies and gentlemen, for those of you who missed Lethal Lottery, you missed the realization of a dream. You missed Joe Diano make his wrestling debut, and he came one match away from challenging for the SMW Championship.

(Inside the ring, Joe Diano has a microphone.)

Joe Diano: You know, to say the past few weeks have been a dream come true for me would be a major understatement. I mean I went from being a columnist, to president of SMW, into being a wrestler, and I capped it off by coming close to winning a shot at the SMW title. So I wanted to take this time to say…

The crowd starts to boo as Simon Diamond makes his way down the aisle with a mic.

Simon Diamond: To say what, how much you don't belong in that ring? Or how much of an ass kisser you are? Then I agree, because Simon has a problem and that is how a no-talent loser from the streets of New York gets a shot at a world title match on his first night, when I, nor my partner Swinger have had anything?

Diamond walks to one side of the ring with his back to the crowd as the fans boo.

Diano: You know Simon, you’re right. I am a street kid from New York, and I did get exactly what you said I got on my first night. But, did you ever consider the fact that I, nor anyone you ever worked for, ever gave you or Swinger a title shot? Do you want to know why that is? It’s cause… well you suck!

(The fans cheer as Diamond gets upset…)

Diano: Matter of fact, I’ve said it before and I will say it again. I may not be a great wrestler, yet, but I ain't no punk either. So if you got a problem, why don't you come in here and solve it?

The fans cheer, as Diamond appears to accept the challenge, as he slowly gets up on the apron. It is then that out from the back, Johnny Swinger comes out with a Singapore Cane and blasts Diano in the back of the head, dropping him to the mat, giving Diamond and Swinger the chance to pounce on him like vultures. They kicked at him until out from the back came Chad Collyer with a steel chair to chase them off. As Diano held the back of his head, Collyer checked on him, while Diamond and Swinger back peddled up the aisle with smiles on their faces.

James Robinson: Diamond and Swinger may have gotten the best of Diano and Collyer just then, but that might not be the same later tonight when these two teams clash in that ring. But don’t go anywhere folks, because we have our #1 Contenders match for the Television Championship still to come!

Commercial Break

(Get ready for Super Bowl XXXIX, February 6, 2005, only on FOX)

Dan Wilson: Welcome back ladies and gentlemen, to what are going to be three matches that will have a great bearing on SMW. Still to come tonight, Joe Diano, who was just attacked by Simon Diamond and Johnny Swinger, will get his chance at revenge when he makes his Aggression debut, teaming with Chad Collyer to face his attackers.

James Robinson: Not only that, but in our main event, the SMW Championship will be on the line when Max Ogden defends against Carney. However, before we can get to those matches, we must first find out who will face Chris Sabin at Reincarnation for the SMW Television Championship. Let’s get to the ring.

#1 Contender Match

(Winner to face Chris Sabin at Reincarnation)

Mariner vs. Satan’s Son

Satan’s Son seems to have a renewed aggression in this match. He sends Mariner to the corner, but he isn’t there when Satan charges at him. As the match continues, Satan’s Son regains the advantage. From the back, Violent P and Mr. Vain make their way to out and they eye Mariner. Mariner starts to gain an advantage again, and he sets up Satan’s Son for a piledriver. With his back to the apron, Mariner leaves himself wide-open for a chair shot from Violent P. That is until Satan’s Son backdrops Mariner, and when he is standing straight, he takes the chair shot directly to the face. Mariner sees Violent P on the apron and punches him off. He then turns, picks up Satan’s Son, and connects with the piledriver for the win.

Winner: Mariner

Dan Wilson: Well, it looked like Violent P and Mr. Vain were looking to cost Mariner his rematch with Chris Sabin, but all they did was stamp his ticket to Reincarnation!

James Robinson: Not only that Dan, but they did it at the expense of the right hand man of Max Ogden, who Violent P may be facing for the SMW Championship that night!

Wilson: That’s a good point, but right now, Jennie Finch is standing by with the other man that could be facing Violent P in the Dunkin Donuts Center, Carney.

(Backstage, Jennie Finch is shown standing with Carney.)

Jennie Finch: Thanks Dan, I am standing here with the man who will face Max Ogden in moments for the SMW Championship, Carney. Carney, we all knew that you were sent down to SMW, but no one expected you to be involved in Lethal Lottery. Did you request to be brought in, or was that Commissioner Plavljanich's idea?

Carney: Actually to be honest, it was my idea to be at Lethal Lottery. I knew that I could make an impact if I could only find a way to convince the Commish to give me the chance.

Finch: And an impact you made. So much so that the Commissioner has decided to give you the first shot at Ogden's title, rather than the former champion, Recon Rage. Are you nervous at all in the minutes prior to that title match?

Carney: Nervous, hell yeah I'm nervous, but do not think for one moment that it is going to make me back down from this chance to win the SMW title here tonight.

Finch: Now, this is not the first time that you have faced Max Ogden. A few months ago, you defeated him on TWF Rampage. Are you preparing for this match any differently?

Carney: You’re right, this is not the first time we met. In our first encounter, I defeated Ogden in the gauntlet that Corey had set for me. Then in Battle Bowl, it came down to us, and I let down my defense for one split second, and it cost me. So Ogden, tonight do not expect me to make the same mistake twice. Tonight, I will walk out of that ring as the NEW SMW Champion.

Finch: The first time you met Ogden, you had the “homefield advantage”, but tonight Max will. Do you think it will have any effect on this match?

Carney: We are talking about the SMW title here. I am not worried bout any "homefield advantage". I have already proven once that I can beat Max Ogden, and tonight I will prove that one more time when I walk out tonight with that belt around my waist.

Finch: Speaking of titles, it is a known fact that you have held titles in the TWF before. Does going for the SMW title feel less important than going for a TWF title?

Carney: No, I think it would be a great honor to represent the SMW as their champion. Becoming the SMW champion would be a huge highlight in my career.

(From behind Carney, President Joe Corey and Alexis Laree start laughing.)

Joe Corey: Excuse me, did I just hear you say that becoming the SMW Champion would be a huge highlight of your career? You mean to tell me that winning the SMW title would mean the same to you as winning this? (Corey holds the TWF King of Cable title right up against the face of Carney)

Carney: As a matter fact it would. Just think bout it Corey, you beat me in our Last Man Standing match to bring me here so you could try and make my life a living hell, and here I am. Tonight, I have a chance at Ogden for the title and to be really honest with you, after tonight you, (pointing right at Corey’s chest) you are going to be calling me YOUR new SMW champion.

Corey: You're right Carney, I did bring you here to make your life a living hell. But here is one last thing for you to think about. You have seen what I have done to you when you are a step behind everyone, and yes, you are a step behind everyone. Just imagine what I will have in store for you if you are representing SMW as MY champion.

(Corey puts his arm around Alexis and walks away from Carney)

Carney: (Looking at Jennie with a little smirk) I guess we will just have to find out then.

Finch: And we will soon, don't go away folks. It is almost time for our main event.

Commercial Break

(Support your SMW President, order your very own “The Show” Joe Corey T-shirt from the TWF Mall today)

James Robinson: We are back here in the SMW Arena folks, and we are only moments away from our SMW Championship match.

Dan Wilson: And after the comments President Corey just made to Carney, he can only be more determined to win that championship.

Robinson: But before we get to that match, it is time for the debut here on Aggression of Joe Diano, assuming that he can still go after that beating he received from Diamond and Swinger earlier tonight. Here fans, take a look…

Footage is shown of the attack of Joe Diano earlier in the night, and the save made by Chad Collyer. When that ended, “Enter Sandman” hit, and Joe Diano and Chad Collyer made their way to the ring, followed by Dean Malenko. Diano is still holding the back of his head, not a good sign to the fans.)

Diamond & Swinger vs. Joe Diano & Chad Collyer w/ Dean Malenko

Diamond and Swinger do their best to keep Joe Diano in the ring, realizing that they accomplished their goal earlier in the night. It is not until Diano tags out to Collyer that his team starts to gain an advantage. Eventually, Diano tags back in and hits Simon Diamond with the “Diano Dream” for the win.

Winners: Joe Diano & Chad Collyer

Dan Wilson: Diano did it! He hit the “Diano Dream” on Diamond, and that was all she wrote!

James Robinson: But that isn’t the same for us, we are about to get ready for our main event. Don’t go anywhere folks, as this is our last commercial break. When we return, it will be Carney versus. Ogden for the SMW Championship!

Commercial Break

(Check out TNA Against All Odds, only on Pay-Per-View)

As the show comes back, “Inner Vision” is playing, and Max Ogden is coming to the ring with the SMW Championship around his waist. The crowd is really letting him have it. “Loose” then plays, and Carney comes out, possibly to the loudest ovation of the night. He gets into the ring very slowly, realizing the importance of this match, and not wanting to make a mistake.

SMW Championship Match

Carney vs. Max Ogden (c)

Ogden comes into this match looking very confident, as does the challenger. Carney gets the upper hand, but a sucker punch by the champion stops his momentum. Ogden then goes on to wear down his challenger with a rear chin lock, slowly sapping the strength out of Carney. After a succession of clotheslines and a powerslam, Ogden goes to end the match with the “Train Wreck”. It is then that Carney rolls out of it and starts to mount an offensive. He stuns Max with a barage of right hands, and then sends him into the corner, where he follows with a stinger splash. Carney then goes for the “Carney Bomb” but from the back, Satan’s Son runs to the ring and jumps on the apron. Carney leaves Ogden and pulls Satan into the ring, where he starts to pound on him until Spencer Hollywood and Steve Bradley run to ringside and pull the intruder out of the ring. Carney turns around and is met with a low blow, but the champion is not able to keep the offensive going, due to his weakened state. The referee starts to count out both men, but when he reaches the count of eight, Commissioner Plavljanich runs to the ring and jumps on the apron, grabbing his attention. With the referee’s attention diverted, Recon Rage enters the ring and hits Max Ogden with a chokeslam. Rage then runs back to the locker room, and Austin follows him. The referee starts to count again, and this time, Carney gets back up at the count of six. Carney bounces off the ropes, but Satan’s Son, who was able to get away from Hollywood and Bradley for a moment, trips up his leg. The referee turns his attention to getting the three men to the back, with the help of two other referees who came to ringside. Not losing his focus this time, Carey picks up Ogden and scoop slams him to the mat. Carney then gets into position to get back to his feet, looking to hit him with a big spear to end the match. When Ogden gets to one knee, Carney goes to get some momentum by hitting the ropes. When he hits the strands, Joe Corey, who was hiding behind the apron, hits him in the back with a steel chair. Carney stumbles forward, and a not standing Ogden lifts him up and hits the “Train Wreck”. The referee sees Ogden go for the pin, runs back into the ring, and registers the three count, and signals for the bell as the ring announcer proclaims Ogden the winner.

Winner: Max Ogden

Dan Wilson: I can’t believe this. For the second time, Joe Corey has helped Max Ogden win a title match. This is out of control!

James Robinson: What can be done about it, he is the president of SMW, and he controls everything here!

(President Corey, Satan’s Son, and Max Ogden celebrate in the ring. On the outside, Carney starts to get back to his feet and walk to the back. Corey calls for a microphone and turns to face the fallen challenger.)

Joe Corey: Hey Carney…dammit Carney, I’m talking to you. Yeah, that’s right. You know, you really proved something to me here tonight. You proved to me that you not only don’t deserve to be on Rampage, but you don’t deserve to be here in SMW either. That is why I, as the current General Manager of Rampage and President of SMW, am hereby making an announcement. When it comes to your suspended contract in TWF, as well as your SMW contract, in the words of a great mentor of mine, Carney…YOU’RE FIRED!!!

Corey and Ogden start laughing in the ring as the camera zooms in on the face of an obviously distraught Carney, who is all but brought to tears.
