SMW AGGRESSION

SMW AGGRESSION

(A video package of last week is shown, the majority of which showing the developments surrounding Reincarnation.  Included are scenes of Violent P's challenge to Max Ogden, the attack of Chris Sabin by Mr. Vain and Violent P, and the subsequent save by mariner.  From there, Mariner's victory over Satan's Son, due to botched interference by Violent P and Mr. Vain, giving him a title shot at Chris Sabin at Reincarnation is shown.  Finally, the events leading to max Ogden's title defense against Carney are shown, followed by the match itself.  The package ends with President Corey's firing of Carney.  From there, "Warrior" by Lloyd Banks hits and the opening video plays.  After that, a pyrotechnics display goes off and before going to Dan Wilson and James Robinson at ringside, an unknown wrestler is shown in the ring.)

Dan Wilson:  Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the SMW Arena, and this is SMW Aggression.  As you just saw, Carney is no longer with us, or with the TWF.  He was fired by President Corey last week, rather unjustly I might add.  But now, all the focus is on Reincarnation, which will take place in two weeks from the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence, RI.

James Robinson:  And we already know that Max Ogden will defend the SMW Championship against Violent P in Providence, but tonight, Violent P will team up with Mr. Vain to take on the two men who will face off for the SMW Television Championship in Providence, Chris Sabin and Mariner.

Wilson:  But before we get to that match, we have a jam packed night in store for you.  As you saw a few moments ago, there is already someone in the ring.  His name is Tony "Knockout Punch" Gamboni, and he is making his SMW debut, and it will be against the winner of the 2nd Chance Series, Nova

Nova vs. Tony "Knockout Punch" Gamboni

Right from the opening bell, Gamboni went right after the more experienced Nova.  He controlled the early goings, but a rookie mistake cost him the match.  After not going for the cover after his "Knockout Punch", Gamboni was hit with the "Kryptonite Krunch", giving Nova the win.

Winner:  Nova

Dan Wilson:  That's win number one for Nova on his return here to SMW.  We will have to see if that continues as time goes on.

James Robinson:  That was an impressive win for Nova, but a great effort by Tony Gamboni.  We are gonna take a break folks, but don't go anywhere because we still haven't heard from the SMW Champion yet tonight, and you know we will.

Commercial Break

(TWF presents Code Red, featuring "The Show" Joe Corey vs. Taylor Made for the King of Cable, available only on Pay-Per-View)

(Backstage, Nova is making his way to his locker room when he bumps into Chris cage.  The two stare at each other in an awkward moment, but then both smile and they embrace.)

Nova:  Hey man, it's great to see ya.  How ya been?

Chris Cage:  Great, things are going really good.  You have no idea how much I have missed teaming with you.

Nova:  I know what you mean.  But hey, now I'm back, so let's win those tag titles.

Cage:  I wish I could do that man, but I have a new partner now, and we are actually close to a shot ourselves.

Nova:  Are you serious?  A new partner?  Why don't you dump him and team with me?  You know we were a great team and we would win those titles in no time.

Cage:  I'm sorry man, it's not fair to him and...

Nova:  Who cares about him?  I came here to win some gold and we can do that, so get rid of this chump and I'll show the world he was deadweight.

(From behind Nova, John "Tank" Toland approaches the two former partners.)

Tank Toland:  Excuse me!

Cage:  Nova, this is my partner, Tank Toland.  And if you would excuse us, we have a match to move of to a #1 Contenders match, so we have to go.  Come on Tank.

(They walk away, and Nova looks on.)

Nova:  Yeah, good luck.

Jake Diamond/Dylan Page vs. Adrenaline

The former champions are looking to get back into title contention, but the up-and-comers look to have their number.  After an initial back and forth contest, the team of Adrenaline starts to take down the more experienced duo.  During one exchange, the referee takes a thumb to the eye, and falls to the mat in pain.  It is then that a fourway brawl ensues, with Cage and Diamond outside the ring, and Page and Toland inside the ring, both the legal men.  From the back, Nova comes out with a steel chair, which he cracks across the back of Tank Toland as he hits the ropes.  He falls into a powerslam from Dylan Page, who picks up the win for his team.

Winners:  Jake Diamond/Dylan Page

Dan Wilson:  I can't believe this.  Nova is so against Chris Cage teaming with Tank Toland that he cost them a chance to go to Reincarnation to face the tag champs.

James Robinson:  This is true, but so is the fact that Diamond and Page will go on to face Joe Diano and Chad Collyer next week.  The winners of that match will go on to challenge Shannon Moore and Xavier for the SMW Tag Team Championships at Reincarnation.

Wilson:  That's true James, and that will be a hell of a tag team match.  We may also see a preview of that match later tonight when the Tag Team Champions team up with Shane Starr to take on Ted Huntsman, Joe Diano, and Chad Collyer.  Speaking of Diano, let's go to Jennie Finch who is standing by with him right now.

(The shot opens backstage as Jennie Finch is shown and the fans cheer when they see Joe Diano, alongside Chad Collyer and Dean Malenko.)

Jennie Finch:  Guys, tonight you are going to team up with Ted Huntsman to face off against Shannon Moore, Xavier, and Shane Starr.  What are your thoughts heading into this match?

Chad Collyer:  It's going to be a major test for us as a team tonight, but we're ready and we expect Huntsman to be ready also.  So tonight, we're going to show what we're made of one more time.

Finch:  And Joe, speaking of Moore and Xavier, you guys will have a shot at their tag team titles at Reincarnation, provided you can get by Jake Diamond and Dylan Page next week.

Joe Diano:  I know a lot of people don't think Chad and I have a change against Diamond and Page next week, hell, they're the greatest tag team in SMW history!  They have been champs twice, but fact is we're not going to step in the ring and lay down for them either and that is a fact.  So with God's will, we'll be the ones walking out of this arena the new number one contenders next week and then move on to face Shannon and Xavier for the SMW Tag Team Championship belts, so like my partner said , no worries cause we're ready.

(The scene cuts to a running cameraman who eventually gets to where he was going.  The shot shows Max Ogden and Satan's Son pummeling someone backstage.  They lift the man up and throw him into a row of lockers.  The face of Shane Starr can then be made out in the confusion.  It isn't until the voice of President Corey is heard that the attack stops.)

Joe Corey:  Alright stop it!  That's enough!  Max, hold his head up, I want him to see me.  Shane, don't take this personally.  If anything, you should be flattered.  A message had to be sent to the locker room, and you got to be the one who gets to demonstrate it.  But for those who need it spelt out, we will go to the ring and explain it.

James Robinson:  Did you hear that Dan?  The President is coming out here.  Don't go away folks.

Commercial Break

(NOW IN THEATRES: "Hitch" starring Will Smith and Eva Mendes)

("Lying From You" by Linkin Park and Jay-Z hits and President Joe Corey, SMW Champion "Mr. SMW" Max Ogden, and Satan's Son come to the ring.  None of them look too happy.)

Joe Corey:  Before I get to the incident that just took place involving Shane Starr, I have to address something.  Dan Wilson, you have three responsibilities here in SMW.  You are to come to ringside, commentate the matches, and make sure that Robinson doesn't make any rookie mistakes.  Nowhere in your job description does it ask you to question a decision I have made.  It is not your, or anyone else's place to question me.  So form now on, sit there, do your job, and remember that you can be replaced rather easily.  Now moving on to Shane Starr.  Shane, don't take what happened personally.  You were just in the first locker room we entered.  That was a statement that no one can stand up to the three of us combined.  And Austin, I hope you saw that, because that was meant for you.  Last week, you cost me a lot of money.  I planned for Carney to face Max Ogden eventually, but it was going to be after a couple months of promotion  Instead, you made that match last week, with no promotion, and for these morons here who wouldn't appreciate it.  That match was meant for a supershow, where it belonged.  However, once it was over, the result I had expected occurred, so I had no use for Carney anymore, so I got rid of the deadweight.  Now, all of our attention is now focused on Reincarnation, and Max's title defense against Violent P.  And P, after what you and Vain did last week to Satan's Son, I have given Max orders to take you out in Providence.  And after we are done with you, I will decide who will take Carney's spot as the next challenger for the SMW title.  Oh, and Austin, before you try to give someone that match, just know that from now on, only I  can order Max to defend his title.  So unless I say so, Max doesn't defend his title in a match you make.  So with that, let's get on with the sh...

("Always" hits and  Commissioner Plavljanich comes out with a mic.)

Austin Plavljanich:  Joe, it is good to know that you are so good at throwing your weight around, because I am too.  You said I can't book Max Ogden in a title match?  That's fine, but I will book him in a match.  As a matter of fact, I am booking him and Satan's Son in a match.  Next week, Max Ogden and Stan's Son will take on Violent P and Mr. Vain, as well as Spencer Hollywood and Steve Bradley.  Oh, and that match will be a Triple Threat Elimination tag match.  Good luck

(Corey's face turns red as he watches Austin go backstage.)

Commercial Break

(TWF: The Music, now available in the TWF Mall)

James Robinson:  Welcome back everyone, and if you just tuned in, Commissioner Plavljanich just made a huge main event for next week.

Dan Wilson:  He sure did.  Next week, Hollywood and Bradley will face Violent P and Mr. Vain and Max Ogden and Satan's Son in a Triple Threat Elimination match.  And might I just say that...

Robinson:  Actually Dan, it may be for the best if you just stay on topic.  We are set for a six-man tag, and we have been told that anyone who wants to step into Shane Starr's spot can, and that person will also go on to face Ted Huntsman at Reincarnation.

("Enter Sandman" hits and Dean Malenko leads Chad Collyer and Joe Diano to the ring.  They are soon joined by "The Submissions Man" Ted Huntsman, who looks more confident than we have seen in recent weeks.  They are then met in the ring by the Tag Team Champions, who enter the ring separately and seem to be worrying more about each other than their opponents.  The crowd waits to see who is going to be the sixth man, but no one comes out.  Finally, Matt Stryker comes out, and he looks like he has something to prove.)

Shannon Moore/Xavier/Matt Stryker vs. Joe Diano/ Chad Collyer/"The Submission Man" Ted Huntsman

Matt Stryker goes right at Ted Huntsman, looking to want to take down the upstart.  Throughout the match, the tag team champions are actually offering each other tags, and are taking advantage of some well placed double teaming after exchanges.  At one point, Joe Diano hits the "Diano Dream" on Shannon Moore, but a brawl ensues, and at some point in this, everyone spills to the outside, except for Diano and Moore.  With control sort of back in order, Diano tags in Chad Collyer, but from the crowd, Simon Diamond pulls Diano off the apron.  The two start to brawl on the outside, and they are joined by Huntsman and Stryker.  Back in the ring, Collyer looks to be setting up for a big clothesline on Moore, when from behind, he is hit over the head with a Singapore Cane by Johnny Swinger.  With Collyer down, Xavier hits him with the "X-Breaker" and then pulls Shannon Moore on top of him.  The referee reenters the ring and makes the final count, giving the champions a win over one of their possible challengers at Reincarnation.

Winners:  Moore/Xavier/Stryker

Dan Wilson:  Can you explain to me what Diamond and Swinger are doing out here?

James Robinson:  I don't know why they did it, but they just cost Diano, Collyer, and Huntsman this match.  But the even bigger story here to me is that the tag champs actually worked as a unit.  What  was that?  Oh thanks Jennie.  Folks, I have just been handed a note from President Corey that says he and Commissioner Plavljanich have agreed that if anyone who does not have a job to do at ringside comes out during the Satan's Son/Steve Bradley match that will take place next, then they will be suspended for one month with no pay.

Wilson:  Well, it's about time these two agreed to let two of their men come out here and prove who is better.

Robinson:  That match is next, so don't go away.

Commercial Break

(ESPN MLB2K5, available on all systems, available Match 1st)

Ring Announcer:  Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome our guest commentator for the next match.  He is the President of SMW, Joe Corey!

("Lying From You" hits and President Corey walks to the announce table.)

Joe Corey:  James, Dan, how are you two doing tonight?

James Robinson:  Very well sir, welcome tot he announce position.

Corey:  Thank you, and Dan, let me just say you are doing a great job tonight.  Oh, excuse me guys, I need to make a quick announcement, can I have a mic?  Thanks.  Folks, before we get to this match, let me introduce your guest timekeeper, the SMW Champion, "Mr. SMW" Max Ogden!

("Inner Vision" hits and the champion comes to ringside.)

Dan Wilson:  Mr. Corey, I thought you agreed that no one who didn't have a job at ringside was barred during this match?

Corey:  And they are.  Max is the timekeeper for this match.  It has always been a dream of his to ring the bell to start and stop a match, so I gave him that chance.

Robinson:  Dan, just stick to business please.  Let's get back to the ring.

Steve Bradley vs. Satan's Son

Steve Bradley dominated this match from the opening bell, and Satan's Son couldn't do anything to get himself any offense.  It wasn't until Satan hit a low blow that Bradley backed down.  The referee signaled for the bell, but Max Ogden refused to ring it.  The ref went outside and told Ogden to ring the bell, but Joe Corey went over to him and told him to get back in the ring, it was a No DQ Match.  The ref went back in the ring, as did Corey and Ogden, who had a steel chair.  The three would go on to decimate Bradley in the ring, and no one could do anything, as the ref couldn't stop the match.  Satan's Son put Bradley in a Figure Four, but he couldn't tap out, as Ogden was holding down Bradley's hands.  Corey even grabbed Satan's arms, lifting him for more leverage.  After over a minute of torture, Ogden released Bradley's hands, allowing him to tap out, finally ending this massacre.

Winner: Satan's Son

Dan Wilson:  What the hell?  Corey came out here knowing exactly what was going to happen.  He strategically placed Ogden and himself at ringside so that he didn't break the ruling he and Austin agreed on.

James Robinson:  Dan, you have been warned tonight already to not second guess the decisions that are made.  You job is on the line.

Wilson:  I don't care dammit!  This has to be said.  Corey is playing everything so that his goons get the advantage over everyone.  This has to stop, and it has to stop sooner rather than later.

Commercial Break

(SMW presents Reincarnation, live in 2 weeks from the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence, RI)

(Backstage, Jennie Finch is standing with Mariner.)

Jennie Finch:  I am standing here Mariner.  How do you feel about teaming up with the man you will be facing at Reincarnation?

Mariner:  Well, I have no hard feelings against him.  I teamed up with him before in the Lethal Lottery, and worked as a team to make it to Battle Bowl, so I'm sure tonight will be no different.  As far as Reincarnation is concerned, I'm not worried about it.  I'm not even thinking of it right now.  This tag match comes first and when the time comes for Reincarnation, I will do my talking in the ring.

Jennie Finch:  What were the motives on saving Sabin at Aggression last week from Violent P and Mr. Vain?

Mariner:  Well, they say keep your friends close and your enemies closer. Sabin is the closest enemy I have because he has the TV Title, and I want it.

Jennie Finch:  That still doesn't explain why you saved Sabin.

Mariner:  You sure do ask a lot of questions.  I want my opponent to be 100% at Reincarnation. I want him to push me to the limit and when I win that title, I want to feel like I earned it.

(Back at ringside)

James Robinson:  We are only seconds away from our main event, but before that, we have to remind you all of our huge main event next week.

Dan Wilson:  That's right James.  Next week, we will have a Triple Threat Elimination Tag match, with Violent P and Mr. Vain taking on Max Ogden and Satan's Son and Spencer Hollywood and Steve Bradley.

Robinson:  And from what we just saw, Steve Bradley may have already been eliminated.  We have been told that Bradley is expected to have suffered a leg injury that will put him on the shelf for at least a few weeks.  We will have more information next week.

Wilson:  We will have to see.  Either Hollywood goes in alone or this will become a tag team match.  But we will find out next week.  However, it is main event time, so let's go to the ring.

"The Future" Chris Sabin/Mariner vs. Violent P/Mr. Vain

Mariner and Mr. Vain start off the match, but as soon as they can, Violent P and Vain use their double teaming to gain an advantage.  Violent P keeps calling his opponents Ogden, showing that he is focused on his match at Reincarnation.  From the back, Max Ogden and Satan's Son make their way to the ring, quickly getting the attention of the combatants.  After finally getting the tag to Sabin, the tide of the match starts to shift.  The ref starts to lose controls of the four men, but finally gets Mariner and Vain out of the ring.  While his back is turned, the ref doesn't notice that Violent P's leg is tripped up by Ogden.  Violent P gets up, tries to grab Ogden, but catches a chair shot to the head by Satan's Son for his trouble.  P falls backwards and is hit with Sabin's "Cradle Shock", a different variation of the "Future Shock", before he is counted out for the three.

Winners:  Sabin/Mariner

(As soon as the bell rings, Satan and Ogden reenter the ring and go after Violent P and Mr. Vain.  A four-way brawl ensues, and Mariner and Sabin wisely exit the ring.  From the entrance way, Commissioner Plavljanich steps out with a mic.)

Austin Plavljanich:  Hey, before you four wear yourselves out, I figured I would let  you know that Steve Bradley will be out of action for 4-6 weeks with a meniscus tear.  So needless to say, he is out of next week's main event.  So now, we will have to make a change.  The match will now see you four go at it in the main event.  Oh, and here are your other two opponents.

(Spencer Hollywood and Recon Rage run to the ring, and a six-man melee explodes.)

Dan Wilson:  Well, there's our answer.  Bradley's out and Rage is in.  After everything Corey has set up tonight, Austin still got the last word.  Will it be the same next week?  Tune in to find out.  Goodnight everybody!
